Saoirse Ronan rocked the red carpet at AARP’s Movies for Grownups Awards 2018 on Monday night (05Jan18).

The Irish actress attended the event held at the Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills in support of her movie Lady Bird, which had been nominated in several categories, and also acted as a presenter.

Proving her style credentials once again, Saoirse opted for a minimalist white dress from Narciso Rodriguez, which she matched with strappy black Charlotte Olympia shoes.

The 23-year-old topped off her ensemble with sparkly teardrop-shaped earrings from Nikos Koulis.

Saoirse posed alongside Lady Bird director Greta Gerwig on the red carpet, with the filmmaker sporting a tangerine dress with bow detail on the bodice from Cardinali, as well as Laurie Metcalf, who picked up the Best Supporting Actress award on the night for her performance in the coming-of-age drama.

Laurie looked elegant in an emerald green dress by Yanina Couture that featured detailed embroidery on the bodice, and accessorised her ensemble with black high heel pumps.

Meanwhile, Helen Mirren turned heads in a dark blue long-sleeved dress from Reem Acra. The British star, who is currently promoting her movie Winchester, was honoured with the Career Achievement Award at the bash, joining a list of previous winners including Morgan Freeman, Kevin Costner, and Susan Sarandon.

Other celebrities to get dressed up included Jane Seymour, who donned a shiny silver bandage dress, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress Kelly Marie Tran, who dazzled in a pretty blue Georges Chakra Couture gown that was comprised of layers of tulle fabric.

Get Out star Betty Gabriel rocked a pale pink dress with lip motifs on the skirt from Sachin & Babi, while Annette Bening kept it classic in a cream suit and white button-up shirt.
