Daisy Ridley pulled out all of the stops at the 2018 Empire Awards on Sunday night (18Mar18).

The British actress led a parade of celebrities at the film event held at the Roundhouse in London and certainly turned heads when she hit the red carpet.

Daisy, who picked up the Best Actress award for her performance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, opted for a classic black tuxedo-inspired number from Sara Battaglia for the night, with the look comprised of a cropped jacket featuring silk lapels, tailored trousers, and a crisp white shirt. She topped off the look by having her newly-dyed red tresses styled into corkscrew curls and accessorised with pointed dark red stilettos.

Among the other ladies to attend the bash included Split actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who sported a mint green sequin halter neck gown with a thigh-high split, and The Crown star Vanessa Kirby, who rocked a sequinned black high-neck top and matching blue skirt from Erdem.

Into the Badlands actress Emily Beecham wore an eye-catching gown featuring a red and black floral print, while Sense8 star Tuppence Middleton braved the chilly weather and donned a black minidress which she paired with black pumps and a matching purse. Joely Richardson looked elegant in a black dress with feather detailing across one shoulder, and director Amma Asante was right on-trend in a blush-pink dress with plunging neckline.

But it wasn’t only the women who got dressed up; Hugh Jackman donned a classic suit and dark green tie when he took to the stage to collect the Best Actor prize for his role as Wolverine in movie Logan, and God’s Own Country star Josh O’Connor, who was presented with Best Male Newcomer, sported a simple black suit and shirt.

Other big names at the celebration included Jim Sturgess, Andy Serkis, Mark Hamill, Steven Spielberg and Edgar Wright.
