Alexandra Daddario has turned her germaphobe habits into a beauty routine after finding a new purpose for her Kleenex Wet Wipes.

The Baywatch babe has signed on as an ambassador for the famous tissue brand, and she’s making the most of her new role after discovering sanitizing wipes can also be used to keep her face clean when she’s out and about, claiming the alcohol-free and chemical-free formula disinfects without drying.

“Like a lot of young people, we’re running from place to place,” she tells StyleCaster. “It’s a great way to keep yourself clean and germ-free.”

The wipes also come in handy for germaphobe Alexandra when she’s jet-setting, because she is always terrified of getting sick on flights.

“Nobody wants to be sick when they’re travelling,” she says, “so (I bring) an antibacterial on a plane.”

The 32 year old adds, “I’m a huge germaphobe. If you have an antibacterial wipe to wipe down the seat with, just for your peace of mind…, I think it helps you from getting sick.”

Health-conscious Alexandra also exercises daily and eats a diet rich with eggs and fruit to maintain wellness.

“I usually have either an egg sandwich or sometimes I’ll have some fruit, depending on how I feel,” she explains before revealing her go-to healthy meal: “I like to cook quinoa, and then I usually crack an egg into that, and I’ll chop up an avocado and put that in there, with a little bit of salt or chicken broth. It’s a quick way to make a really healthy but filling meal. It takes about 15 minutes.”

Although she loves ice-cream and chocolate every now and again, the actress normally foregoes those calorific treats in favour of more healthy snacks.

“I actually love a tablespoon of honey or peanut butter on the go which is a little bit strange,” the actress shares. “On set, you don’t really have time to eat in between takes, so it’s a really quick way to get energy that’s healthy. I also like granola bars.”
