Rodarte is heading back to Los Angeles for its fall 2019 presentation.
Sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy founded their brand in 2005 and have since gone on to outfit a range of celebrities, including Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, Mandy Moore, and Taylor Swift.
While the California-born design duo have held shows in Paris and New York in recent years, they have now announced that they are returning to their home state for their next show.
“California is one of our most important influences and having our first show in Los Angeles is a dream we’ve long wished to make reality,” Kate and Laura said in a statement to Vogue.com.
The pair added that they will be collaborating on the show with Alex de Betak of fashion production company Bureau Betak and Brian Phillips of public relations company Black Frame.
They will also be teaming with bosses at California’s JNSQ wines, and plan to serve guests with an “elegant rose cru”.
No other details about the show, including location or date, have been announced. However, the event is likely to take place in either late January or before the Fashion Week shows kick off in New York, London, Paris and Milan in February.
Kate and Laura showed their spring 2019 collection during New York Fashion Week in September (18).
The season prior they decided to forgo a traditional runway presentation and instead showcased the fall/winter 2018 range with a series of portraits of Hollywood stars in the garments.
Portraits featured the likes of Kirsten, who used the photographs to confirm her pregnancy, actress Tessa Thompson and singer Grimes.
