Cara Delevingne has selected her friend Adwoa Aboah as one of her beauty icons.
The British models have struck up a solid friendship while making waves in the fashion industry, with Cara once even claiming that her pal would make a great British Prime Minister.
And in addition to her strong leadership skills, Cara also admires Adwoa’s looks.
“Adwoa is always one of my beauty icons. I just, like, have her face as my screensaver and look at her all the time,” she admitted in an interview with British Vogue, adding that many of her family members also make the cut.
“I have so many beauty icons – I think all of the women in my family, or the incredible women I’ve met,” the fashion star continued. “Any woman is an icon to me just because they’ve been so strong. So incredible and don’t get enough credit most of the time.”
Cara also singled out Rihanna, who has taken the beauty industry by storm thanks to the roaring success of her cosmetics company Fenty Beauty. However, the 26-year-old is regretful that the Barbadian singer wasn’t around to give her make-up tips as a teenager.
“I remember when I was a kid, I was so bad – all I used to do was just cake on foundation and eyeliner. Now I look at teenagers today and I’m like ‘What?!'” she laughed. “Less and less teenagers are looking like that. I see them and I’m like: ‘How do they do that make-up? It’s so hard!'”
