Tessa Thompson has gushed over the futuristic gown she wore to the Men in Black: International premiere on Tuesday night.
The actress, who plays new MIB recruit Agent M in the spin-off of the hit franchise, embraced the sci-fi theme when she stepped out at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City for the film’s debut in a silver Rodarte dress with high-low hemline.
Taking to Instagram to share a slideshow of images of her posing on the black carpet, Tessa thanked Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy for embracing her vision and supporting her over the years.
“@Rodarte dressed me for my first big premiere years ago & 4 last night’s debut of @mib_international they made this dress special for me. Luv u (sic) so much @kateandlauramulleavy . Endless thanks. & to the dreamy team that got me ready,” the 35-year-old wrote in the caption.
Tessa topped off her look with silver platform heels and a moon-shaped purse from Judith Leiber, while her make-up artist gave her a slick of iridescent eyeshadow on her lids.
Accordingly, Kate and Laura shared their excitement over the look too, commenting on the post, “We love you Tessa!!!!!!!! You are magic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
The post caught the attention of a number of Tessa’s celebrity pals too, with La La Anthony writing, “Beyond,” with a string of fire emojis, and her Creed co-star Michael B. Jordan commenting, “Such a fan!”
Tessa’s Men in Black: International co-star Chris Hemsworth, who takes on the role of Agent H, also attended the event, looking handsome in a Dolce & Gabbana suit, while the actor’s wife Elsa Pataky rocked a white Armani ensemble.
