Miranda Kerr chose the name Myles for her new baby son because it has a lot of “personal” meaning.
The Australian supermodel and her Snapchat co-founder husband Evan Spiegel welcomed their second child together in October, a sibling for their son Hart, 19 months, and Miranda’s eight-year-old son Flynn, from her marriage to actor Orlando Bloom.
In an interview with Australia’s The Morning Show on Monday, the 36-year-old shared that both of her youngest sons’ names have special meaning to her.
“Both Myles and Hart are family names, from Evan’s side of the family,” she said. “So, that way it felt really personal, and they feel unique as well.”
Miranda went on to explain that she’s enjoying being a mother of three boys.
“Myles is so sweet, he’s such a little angel – but I guess every mother says that about their children,” the brunette beauty smiled. “We didn’t really mind if it was going to be a girl or a boy – but it’s actually quite special having three boys in the house. There’s been a lot of sleepless nights, but it’s all worth it. It’s such a miracle having a baby, so every time I feel so overjoyed.”
And while Miranda and Evan, 29, were a little worried about how Hart and Flynn would react to their new brother, the couple needn’t have worried.
“I was a little concerned that Hart might get a little jealous, but from the moment he met him, he was just in awe with his baby brother,” she insisted. “He gives him a little hug and puts his head on him. It’s so adorable. And Flynn is just in love with both of his brothers. To see the three of them together, I can’t wait to see how they grow up together – because they’ve all got such different personalities.”
Miranda held the interview to promote the launch of her first KORA Organics concept boutique inside of a David Jones department store in Sydney.
