Chrissy Teigen celebrated the 10-year anniversary of her breast implants on Monday.
The model-turned-TV personality took to Instagram on Monday to upload throwback snaps of her walking the runway in white underwear during the 2010 Beach Bunny Swimwear fashion show, and in the caption, she jokingly wrote, “Happy 10 year anniversary to these t**ties and RIP to these teeth.”
Her post received numerous comments from celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, who simply left a bunch of crying laughing face emojis.
Chrissy later responded: “@kimkardashian you guys were at this show!!! It’s why I was listed as ‘model walks runway’ no one cares about me bahahahahah.”
Comedian Whitney Cummings also commented, writing, “Wait isn’t 10 years when we need to take them out?!” referring to recommendations by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons that advise exchanging or removing implants every 10 to 15 years.
The beauty, who is married to crooner John Legend, replied by admitting she wants them removed but cannot while she’s self-isolating during the coronavirus pandemic.
“@whitneycummings yes dude and I really want them OUT,” she wrote. “Quarantine would have been perfect time but apparently it’s not ‘ESSENTIAL’ smh (shaking my head).”
Chrissy told U.K. magazine Glamour earlier this year she would like her implants removed and her breasts lifted, but noted the risks are too high after having children.
“If I could do one thing, it would be to have a lift,” the 34-year-old explained. “I think you’re supposed to replace them (implants) every 10 years. But when you have kids you think about (the risks) of surgery and I think, ‘This is not the way I want to die – in boob surgery!'”
