Whitney Cummings’ self-isolation wardrobe consists of tie-dye and sweatpants.

The 37-year-old actress and comedian is holed up at home as she practises social distancing in an effort to stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and she told The Hollywood Reporter that she’s embracing a more comfortable style.

“There’s not a zipper in sight or an underwire bra on the horizon for months. I am dressed like (actor) Pauly Shore in the nineties – in tie-dye sweatpants, on my seventh day of dry shampoo,” she laughed. “I look like a tech billionaire on vacation in Tahoe, with a lot of super normcore Patagonia fleeces.

“I also feel like I’m ready to go at any moment. I’m wearing sneakers in my house. If s**t hits the fan, I’m ready. I’ve got my dried beans and a fanny pack on all the time for no reason.”

And Cummings, the creator of U.S. sitcom 2 Broke Girls, shared that she’s picking up some new hobbies while in self-isolation.

“I’m reading all the books that I pretended I read two years ago – the ones that I lied about to everyone when I told them I read them. I’m going to catch up with all my lies, basically, so that they are no longer lies,” she joked.

She also blasted those complaining about being bored during the lockdown and urged them to do something for their communities instead.

“There’s so much stuff we can do to be useful,” Whitney fired. “There are plenty of things you could be doing to help people. Drop off groceries for older people. Drop off groceries to nurses. Make masks! Why is anyone bored?”
