Bebe Rexha has designed two styles of press-on nails as part of her collaboration with Sinful Colors.
The Last Hurrah singer was named as a brand ambassador for the American nail polish company, which is owned by cosmetics giant Revlon, in August last year, and to mark the occasion, she collaborated with them on a collection of eight nail varnishes called Velvet Obsession.
Now, Bebe is taking her partnership one step further by designing two press-on 3D styles – Rough n’ Rosey and Pearls n’ Roses – for the brand’s new CLAWS collection.
Speaking to People about the capsule, the 30-year-old shared that the designs were “a true reflection” of her style and “it felt right” to create press-ons.
“I love my acrylics, but there are days when I have had to go from a shoot to red carpet to performance, and I don’t always have the time to sit in a chair for a detailed manicure. Press-ons allow for that style switch-up when you don’t have a tonne of time,” she explained. “I love nails. Like I’m obsessed with them. I really feel like (they’re) a signature part of my look… I’ve gotten to rock some sick, intricate nail art and it’s something that makes me feel confident and happy. I wanted to create this design for my fans, so that they can get creative and nail their look at home.”
Bebe also explained her thought process behind the Rough n’ Rosey style, which features a 3D rose and pearl design on a matte black background.
“I love to pair the unexpected. To me, pearls are something that will always be in style, but when I wear them, I want to take them to the next level by matching them with something edgier, like a matte black texture, roses with a rocker vibe or really cool chains,” she said.
The styles are available to purchase from Walmart.com.
