Nina Agdal has been starting her evening skincare regime at 6pm during the coronavirus lockdown.
Blessed with a “normal” skin type, the Danish model usually spends little to no time cleansing her face before bed, but in a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, she explained that she has been embracing a new routine while spending so much time at home amid the Covid-19 crisis.
“My night time routine is actually brand spanking new. When I’m tired, when I’m sleepy, there’s no return, there’s no going to the sink, taking off your make-up, going through a whole process, practicing self-care and self-love… it’s not happening. When I’m sleepy, it’s done. It’s over,” she said. “Ever since the quarantine happened, I have had the time to do this. When I say time, I mean that I do it super early now. I will take my night time shower, do my bedtime routine, get myself ready to bed at 6pm. It’s been really fun to actually do it for the last couple of months. And I have to say my skin is definitely very excited about it.”
Nina went on to detail her go-to products. She uses Youth To The People’s Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser to wash her face and Neutrogena’s Oil-Free Gentle Eye Makeup Remover to take off her mascara.
“I really like this make-up remover. It’s so basic and gentle. I just want to wash my face, and if there’s anything left over, I just want to wipe it off. And it’s a great price,” the 28-year-old commented of the formula.
And while Nina doesn’t like to spend a fortune on skincare, she does splash out on Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Hyaluronic Serum.
“I literally just take two drops of it on my palm and massage it all over my face. This is good stuff, I’ve definitely seen a difference in my complexion,” she added.
Her other favourites include Superflower’s The Everyday CBD Serum, Mario Badescu’s Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile & Lavender, Ole Henriksen’s Banana Bright Eye Creme, and Tata Harper’s Beautifying Face Oil.
