Cara Delevingne has teamed up with Puma to release a new Pride-themed capsule collection.
The model/actress has helped design the 13-piece From Puma with Love line, which features brightly coloured cropped T-shirts, vests, hoodies, and sliders, all emblazoned with the same graphic ombre rainbow design, referencing the LGBTQ pride flag.
The collection will drop on 1 June, just in time for Pride Month, and 20 per cent of the proceeds will go to The Trevor Project, MindOut, and GLAAD, charities and non-profit organisations set up to help members of the LGBTQ community.
“The LGBTQIA community has always been so important to me. This (collaboration) just made sense, you know? I’ve been so lucky with Puma, in everything we’ve ever discussed, they’ve always been open to new ideas and my perspective,” Cara told Vogue.
The sportswear giant’s iconic feline logo has also been given an update by the 27-year-old, and has been filled in with the rainbow design, although the Carnival Row actress explained that she was keen to ensure that the line wasn’t “so obvious”.
“The pieces are unisex and fun, but they’re things people can wear every day, not just during Pride month,” she added. “Now is the time to celebrate mental health and kindness, not just for our communities, but towards ourselves. Pride is not just a concept, it’s a way of life.”
The model has been an ambassador for the sportswear giant since 2016.
