Rob Lowe has blamed his love of ice cream as the reason he’s gained weight during lockdown.

The actor said he turned to devouring the sweet treat while self-isolating at home with his family as the Covid-19 pandemic raged across the U.S., and now he’s due to resume filming on his TV show 9-1-1: Lone Star, he has to get back in shape.

“Like everybody, I think I let my guard down and probably had one too many run-ins with ice cream,” the 56-year-old joked to USA Today. “I think a lot of people are on the same boat where we’ve been eating comfort food. There’s a reason we call it comfort food.”

The star currently serves as a spokesperson for high-protein/low-carb diet firm Atkins, and said that bosses there are trying to keep him on the straight and narrow with some healthier goodies.

“I get all the milkshakes and new bars and am trying to do that for dessert instead of ice cream,” Rob explained. “I feel like, you know, I’m getting ready to come back to shoot the new 9-1-1 Lone Star, so I’ve gotta get myself together.

“I go to my low-carb, high-protein way of eating, and it feels good to get into a certain fighting shape.”

The actor previously revealed he had succumbed to the Covid-19 lockdown weight gain, and he told Extra that ice cream was “winning” in his household.

“I’ve been losing the ice cream battle at night in Covid. Ice cream is undefeated in my house… I’ve gotta get back at it,” he quipped.

Cardi B took her love for Louis Vuitton to the next level by emblazoning her ponytail with the French fashion house’s logo.

The 27-year-old shared a series of snaps on Instagram and showcased the daring look, which featured the Louis Vuitton motif printed on her platinum blonde locks.

Hairstylist Tokyo Stylez was responsible for the airbrushed logo of the brand’s iconic LV monogram on the Bodak Yellow hitmaker’s updo, which complimented Cardi’s Louis Vuitton custom cropped shirt and miniskirt created by designer Baba Jagne.

“I’m on my way …thanks @sirbabajagne skirt into a shirt!” she captioned the photos, in which she’s also rocking a matching hatbox bag, gold heels and extravagant gold jewellery.

The mother-of-one worked with stylist Kollin Carter on the look, and rather than use a recent look from Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, Cardi opted to hire independent creative Jagne to rework a skirt into a two-piece outfit.

“Converted an LV skirt to a top and @iamcardib did the rest,” the Los Angeles-based designer wrote alongside a snap of Cardi rocking the custom outfit.

The hair monogram technique was spotted at Emilio Pucci’s show back in February during Milan Fashion Week, as hairstylist Jawara spray painted neon-bright patterns on the locks of models, a move she said was inspired by Lil Kim.

Cardi is no stranger to reworking classic designs from iconic fashion houses, as she previously rocked a retro look using a Chanel skirt and a Birkin bag.

“Tiffany Birkin with that vintage chanel with them bute @fashionnova shoes,” she captioned the snap.

Gemma Arterton had “the most fun” helping figure out her Summerland character’s look.

In Jessica Swale’s new period drama, the Quantum of Solace star plays Alice, a reclusive writer who is entrusted with a young evacuee from London. Alice lives an isolated life in a small town where the locals joke that she’s a witch and she doesn’t care much about her appearance, with her wearing no make-up, unflattering clothes, and unbrushed hair.

In an exclusive interview with Cover Media, Gemma shared that she was heavily involved in creating Alice’s look with the team and they were determined for her to look different from the normal 1940s style.

“That was one of the most fun processes, just working it out with Jess and obviously with our hair and make-up designer and costume designers,” she said. “We wanted Alice to look different to the usual 1940s wartime look, the hair all done and the lipstick. She doesn’t care, and yet she’s cool, in her own way, and wears clothes that are functional… I loved that.”

She also recalled the day she tried on Alice’s wig for the first time.

“For me a pivotal day was when I tried the wig on and this sort of crazy unruly hair, that had loads of grey in it, and was really straggly and matted, and I thought, ‘Yeah, that’s absolutely her,'” she remembered.

Gemma and Jessica then explained that they used a picture of late American artist Georgia O’Keeffe as a reference for Alice’s look, and the director then confessed she kept some of the character’s boots for herself.

“I have to admit, they’re the same size as my feet so I might still have them and they always make me feel a little bit more kicka*s when I wear them,” she admitted.

Rihanna felt like a ‘clown’ in yellow Guo Pei dress at 2015 Met Gala

Rihanna was “so scared” about looking like a fool in her statement yellow dress that she circled the 2015 Met Gala red carpet three times before getting out of her car.

The Diamonds hitmaker stole the show when she stepped onto the red carpet at the prestigious fashion event in New York wearing an elaborate fur-trimmed cape gown by Chinese designer Guo Pei.

The cape, which weighed about 55 pounds (25 kilograms), featured a train which required three handlers to escort the singer up the steps to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Rihanna confessed that she was fearful of looking foolish in front of the industry’s biggest names.

“That night, the choreography of getting in the car and getting out, like, we had to choreograph it,” she recalled to U.S. news show Access Hollywood, as she explained why she was so late to the gala. “Who sits at the door? Where does the coat go? Where do I sit?

“I remember being so scared to get out of that car because I felt like, ‘I’m doing too much.’ I was driving past the red carpet, and I was just seeing, like, (designer) gowns, and I was like, ‘Oh my god, I’m a clown. People are going to laugh at me. This is like, too much.'”

However, Rihanna managed to compose herself after her last-minute bout of nerves, and her bold decision went down in the fashion history books.

“I circled like, three times, I’m not even joking. And finally, I was like, ‘Whatever, let’s go. Let’s just go. Let’s just go,'” she added.

And looking back, Rihanna is glad she didn’t have a change of heart, and has no regrets about her gown, despite all the hilarious memes that were created after her red carpet appearance.

“The frying pan with the egg? Legendary, legendary!” she laughed.

Coco Rocha is expecting her third child.

The Canadian model has revealed to People that she is five months pregnant with her second daughter.

“We are having a girl and big sister (Ioni) is so excited,” Coco told the publication. “She loves having a baby brother, but she’s like, ‘I got one of those. So let’s get another one, another version.’ She wants to do all the mommy stuff. It’s going to be like having a baby doll.”

In photos for the magazine, taken by her husband James Conran, the 31-year-old shows off her bump in a blue dress and is accompanied by her children – five-year-old daughter Ioni and two-year-old son Iver.

Coco and James are currently coming up with names for their child, as they want to choose another four-letter moniker beginning with “I”.

“We’re still trying to find that special name,” she smiled. “With Ioni and Iver, we wanted them to be different and something where people haven’t heard of often, but they’re both traditional names – long ago people were called that. So we want to find something just as special.”

The catwalk star found out she was pregnant just before the Covid-19 lockdown and she admitted it was difficult having to attend appointments alone, with James joining via FaceTime, but otherwise she was grateful to spend her pregnancy at home as opposed to constantly working up until she gives birth.

“With Ioni, I think it was 15 countries still travelling and working and this one will be no travelling probably the entire nine months, which I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen in my life,” she shared.

“I feel the same pregnancy wise as I did with Ioni and Iver… But the difference with this pregnancy is being at home and not having any sort of a routine of going out. It feels a little weird in that respect, but I still feel very fortunate to be pregnant and have family around right now.”

Naomi Campbell is happy to see an increase in racial diversity in the fashion industry.

The supermodel discussed Black representation during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and revealed she’s hopeful a new direction is coming.

“It needs to change from the board room to the seat. It needs to go right from the top through,” Naomi shared. “I’ve been saying this for years, and so I’m truly grateful and happy, finally, this is happening.”

The 50-year-old British beauty also discussed U.S. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour’s recent comments on diversity, following the death of George Floyd back in May, and said she was hopeful of an overhaul at the famed publication.

“I think things are about to change, don’t you?” Campbell said. “Things are about to change. Everyone used to think that you liked being the token black person in the room. It’s absolutely the opposite. I never did.”

Despite her optimism, Naomi expressed her sorrow that it took Floyd’s death, at the hands of a white police officer, and a number of other unarmed members of the Black community, to prompt huge changes after millions took to the streets as part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

“The way that it’s had to come out, for people to lose their lives, it’s very sad and my condolences to each and every one of those victims, (and) parents of those people that have gone,” she added. “But this had to happen. This change had to happen.”

Ashley Graham is embracing her stretch marks as part of a new campaign for her size-inclusive swimwear line.

The model welcomed son Isaac, her first child with husband Justin Ervin, back in January, and proudly displayed her curves in a series of bikinis and bathing suits from her collaboration with Swimsuits For All, and refused to retouch any of the images.

“A lot of women I speak to have image issues, body issues around confidence,” Ashley told People. “I want them to understand that we all have things that society has told us to cover up and why do we need to do that? So here I am with mine out and about and proud.”

The 32-year-old thanked her husband for acting as photographer for the shoot, which took place in the garden of her mother’s house in Nebraska, and confessed she had to work hard to readjust her mindset after becoming a mother.

“I’ve got more weight on me. I’ve stretch marks, and in the beginning I really had to have a lot of conversations with myself and tell myself, ‘Okay, new body, new mindset,'” Ashley explained. “But after this photoshoot, I felt so empowered because I was like, ‘Yes. I look good. I feel good. This is my new mom bod’.”

The former America’s Next Top Model judge wants women to feel empowered when they wear pieces from her new collection, and each piece was designed with “stay-put fabric and no-quit elastic”.

“The thing about working with Swimsuits For All is that I’ve always been able to design swimsuits that I want to wear and swimsuits that I’m really comfortable in,” she noted. “Now with a new postpartum body, I thought that things were going to feel different, and that they were going to look different, and they do, but it’s a new found joy in that.”

The Swimsuits For All collection is now available.

Stella McCartney has inked a new eyewear deal with Thelios under her LVMH Moet Hennessy – Louis Vuitton partnership.

English designer Stella joined forces with the fashion conglomerate a year ago, a year after departing rival giant Kering.

She has now shared details of her latest venture, a sustainable glasses collection which will go on sale in spring 2021.

“Since Day One, we have been committed to creating materials that are the most desirable, with the least impact on the planet – including in the plastic-heavy luxury eyewear category,” Stella said, reports WWD. “We introduce to Thelios our bio-tech solutions and sustainable innovation, and are thrilled to have their experts join us in growing Stella McCartney’s eco-friendly vision.”

The first designs will feature bio-lenses, composed of 39 per cent castor oil with a carbon reduction of 40 per cent on the raw material. Organic carbon content will make up the majority of the frames, mixed with fibres made from wood, cotton seeds, and plant-based plasticisers.

Ken Jeong’s naked The Hangover scene led to the cops being called about the production.

The first Hangover movie in 2009 propelled Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis to superstardom, and also made Ken and Ed Helms household names.

Ken’s turn as Leslie Chow in the original movie and its two subsequent spin-offs garnered him a whole new set of fans, and it was his own suggestion that Chow leap naked from the trunk of a car in the famous scene – something producer Scott Budnick has revealed nearly got the production team in hot water with the law.

“We were on this empty lot outside Mandalay Bay (hotel in Las Vegas), it is probably 110 degrees… it was so miserably hot and Ken has to jump out of this trunk naked 20 to 30 times,” he recalled in a chat on The John Roa Show.

“It was wild, but I also remember that because it wasn’t supposed to be naked, we ultimately got the cops called on us. Because people that were in Mandalay Bay and other hotels around it kept seeing this naked guy jump out, and called the cops. We had to scramble to make sure that they didn’t see it. It was a wild day. It was a miserable day, and one of the funniest days ever, working on a film.”

It was originally scripted that Ken jumped from the car in his pants with no shirt, but the comedy actor suggested he lose all his clothes.

“He said to me, ‘Do you think it would be funny if I did it naked?’ and my eyes got big and I said, ‘Let me talk to Todd (Phillips, director),” he shared.

“(He replied) ‘Hell, yeah, make it happen’.”

Scott went on to praise “trooper” Bradley, who Ken jumps on and then beats with a pipe in the movie.

Ron Howard has commenced work on a series follow up to his 1988 dark fantasy film Willow.

Despite it being over 30 years since he made the movie, Howard told Andy Cohen on his Radio Andy Sirius XM show that a sequel is now in ‘active development’.

The update comes after rumours that Howard was in talks to direct a sequel TV series for streaming service Disney+.

Elaborating that: “I was in a two-hour story meeting last night”, Howard explained the film’s creative process.

“The writer Jon Kasdan is leading the charge, they have a great group of writers and it’s in very active development,” he described.

Howard also indicated the new series would be a continuation of the original’s fantasy world, rather than a reboot of it, and that the film’s star, Warwick Davis would reprise his role as lead character Willow Ufgood.

Since its first release, Willow has become a slow-burning cult classic. Produced by George Lucas, the film tells the story of a reluctant farmer, who becomes roped into a quest to shield a baby from a tyrannical queen.

Although he admitted that producers are yet to “get through the season and budget,” and that the series has not yet been green-lighted, Howard reported that work on the show’s scripts ‘are going great’.
