Nicola Peltz wore a dress designed by her future mother-in-law Victoria Beckham to announce her engagement to Brooklyn Beckham.
The flowing yellow dress worn by the 25-year-old actress in a picture revealing the exciting news was in fact from Victoria’s eponymous fashion line.
The asymmetric ruffled silk-georgette midi dress is from the designer’s spring/summer 20 collection, and is currently in the sale on Net-A-Porter, reduced from $1,960 to $980 (£780).
Photographer Brooklyn confirmed the news that he had asked Nicola to marry him on Instagram over the weekend, and said the Transformers: Age of Extinction star made him “the luckiest man in the world”.
Mum and former Spice Girls singer Victoria later reposted her son’s sweet engagement photo, which was taken by her daughter, Brooklyn’s youngest sibling Harper, and wrote: “We could not be happier that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness… We all love you both so much x.”
It was also reported that Victoria would be designing her future daughter-in-law’s dress for the big day, but a source told HollywoodLife that the 46-year-old would take a step back if she felt she was interfering in the couple’s big day.
Brooklyn, 21, and Nicola have been dating for around 10 months. The pair made their red carpet debut as a couple in February, when they attended the Saint Laurent show as part of Paris Fashion Week.
