Ariana Grande has joked her earlobes are “still recovering” from the large jewels she wore to the 2020 Grammy Awards.

The 7 Rings hitmaker enjoyed several outfit changes over the course of the music bash last Sunday night, making her entrance in a grey Giambattista Valli ballgown, before swapping into a Schiaparelli creation, and later changing into an emerald green gown from Givenchy for her performance.

On Thursday, celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz took to Instagram to share a close-up image of the huge Colombian emerald and diamond necklace and earring set Ariana wore with her final ensemble. The clip quickly attracted the attention of the star, who wrote in the comments section: “Earlobes still recovering. However, those earrings…. they are sorely and deeply missed. I think of them constantly and wish we didn’t have to part. if they go missing, it was (my dog) Toulouse. love and thank u (sic).”

Earlier in the evening, Ariana also sported another pair of 30-carat diamond studs from Lorraine’s brand along with her first red carpet look.

And as for her many outfit changes at the Grammys, the 26-year-old explained in an interview with CBS that she simply couldn’t choose between all of the beautiful options at her fingertips.

“So, here’s the thing – I did the carpet in a custom Giambattista Valli dress and I loved it, and then I didn’t do the interview, so I came back in a different dress, because I couldn’t decide,” she said, adding that it was “huge progress” for her to even attend due to her anxiety.

“I’m so lucky. I had two, very special custom looks made. And I couldn’t decide! I was indecisive, so I decided to do it twice. Which is really huge progress for me, because usually, I cannot come within three feet of a red carpet without having a nervous breakdown.”

Ariana Grande is suing fashion retailer Forever 21 for $10 million (£8 million) for allegedly using a look-alike model in an advertising campaign.

The superstar filed a complaint in a Los Angeles federal court on Monday in which she accused bosses of Forever 21 and its beauty offshoot Riley Rose of misappropriating her name, image, likeness, and music by hiring a “strikingly similar” looking model to appear in their website and social media campaign earlier this year after she declined to do so.

According to editors at Reuters, the popstar was in talks with executives to appear in a joint marketing campaign, but the negotiations broke down because Forever 21 would not pay enough for “a celebrity of Ms. Grande’s stature”.

In the complaint, Forever 21 and Riley Rose bosses are accused of misappropriating at least 30 images and videos by using the model, whose “resemblance (to Ariana) is uncanny”, and using music and lyrics from Ariana’s recent hit 7 Rings.

The 26-year-old, who has previously worked with brands such as Reebok and Givenchy, is seeking damages for copyright and trademark infringement, false endorsement, and violating her right of publicity.

In a statement, a representative for Forever 21 said they were hoping to reach a mutual resolution with the star.

“Forever 21 does not comment on pending litigation as per company policy,” they stated. “That said, while we dispute the allegations, we are huge supporters of Ariana Grande and have worked with her licensing company over the past two years. We are hopeful that we will find a mutually agreeable resolution and can continue to work together in the future.”

Forever 21 was founded by Do Won and Jin Sook Chang in 1984. Their daughters, Linda and Esther Chang, opened the first Riley Rose boutique in 2017.

Ariana Grande has cancelled all meet and greets on the European leg of her Sweetener World Tour to “preserve her voice and energy”.

The 7 Rings hitmaker axed a session which was scheduled to take place before her show in Antwerp, Belgium on Friday, telling fans: “My anxiety and depression have been at an all time high lately… I feel like the wisest decision would be not to do sound check party or m&g (meet and greet) today and preserve my energy for the show.”

And in a further statement from promoters Live Nation, it was confirmed the pop star had chosen to pull out of the planned meet and greets due to her gruelling tour schedule.

“Thanks to increased demand, Ariana is thrilled and humbled to have been able to add extra shows to the tour for her fans. It’s not something she takes for granted,” they posted online. “These extra months on the road, however, are not only exhilarating but exhausting. Due to the need to preserve her voice and energy, we regret to inform you there will not be a Meet & Greet & Soundcheck party at your show.

“This decision does not come easily and the last thing she would ever want to do is disappoint fans but something has to give to allow her to continue giving 100 per cent to her performances.”

The Thank U, Next hitmaker will play dates in Europe through 16 October, before heading back across the Atlantic to complete a final U.S. leg, wrapping up on 22 December.

Ariana Grande has excitedly shared images from her first-ever Givenchy campaign on social media.

The Thank U, Next hitmaker took to Instagram on Monday to upload the mainly black-and-white snaps, shot by Craig McDean, of her wearing pieces from the French luxury fashion house’s fall/winter 2019 collection.

In the images, Grande – who has her hair scraped back into her trademark high ponytail – wears a floral high-necked pleated dress, a bold structured green suit, a dramatic off-the-shoulder top with black trousers, and a tailored tweed blazer, designed by Givenchy’s creative director, Clare Waight Keller.

Grande shared the photos on Instagram, and wrote, “Honoured to be your girl and wear these looooks (sic) @givenchyofficial happy campaign reveal day. can’t wait for everybody to see all of the photos.”

She also sweetly hinted she was on cloud nine with the new campaign, as she put several cloud emojis in her caption.

Executives at the label announced back in May that they had enlisted the 26-year-old for their latest campaign.

“It is with great excitement that the House of Givenchy reveals its new face – a strong, independent woman of refreshing character and style: the multi-talented Ariana Grande,” a company representative said in a statement, while Grande added: “It is a house I have forever admired and to now be part of that family is such an honour. I love this clothing and the confidence and joy it brings to the people wearing it. Not only is the clothing timeless and beautiful, but I’m proud to work with a brand that makes people feel celebrated for who they are and unapologetic about whatever they want to be.”

Ariana Grande has joined forces with NASA for a limited run of branded apparel.

The eight-piece collection includes a range of T-shirts, sweatshirts and even a pair of glasses, and was made available at the One Last Time songstress’ booth on the Coachella grounds over the festival’s first weekend (12-14Apr19).

The collaboration, which was inspired by the 25-year-old’s song NASA from her most recent album Thank U, Next, features the space agency’s iconic logo, while the shirts include lyrics from the song, including the lines “I’ma need space” and “One giant leap for womankind”.

The capsule collection has also been made available online for a limited time and is priced between $40 (£31) and $75 (£57).

Ariana became the youngest-ever headliner of the festival when she performed on Sunday, and Coachella marked the occasion with a 7 Rings art installation in homage to the star’s hit song.

The structure comprised seven oversized, neon pink rings, complete with diamond-shaped pieces on the top, which formed a series of arches that led to the songstress’ merchandise stand.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the musical powerhouse also has plans to expand her empire with an upcoming beauty line.

In a recent trademark filing, the star stated her intention to sell sweet-smelling items including male and female fragrances, body lotions, bath gels, shower gels, body scrubs, body powders, body souffles, and body mists – all under the name Ariana Grande Thank U, Next.

Ariana already has five perfumes to her name and released her most recent scent, Cloud, back in September (18).

Ariana Grande has opened up about her struggles with mental health and admitted to fans she’s still in the process of healing after going through a difficult period in her life.

The Thank U, Next hitmaker was struck by tragedy last year (18) when her former boyfriend Mac Miller died after an accidental overdose in September, and she split from her then-fiance Pete Davidson a month later in October.

Despite the star’s best efforts to move on from the heartbreak, she took to Instagram Stories on Thursday (04Apr19) to confess to fans that she still finds the experience tough.

“healing is hard work. accept da ups and downs. be gentle with yourself and surround yourself with gentle energy. you’re not alone. (sic),” the 25-year-old posted.

The post was one in a string of reflective moments for the 7 Rings songstress, and came hours after she had taken to the platform to thank fans for their continued support through her personal turmoil.

“U make everything better. thank you for your energy. truly. I love y’all, so much,” the star gushed. “u have no idea how much y’all help me / how happy u make me. sharing a state / this life with y’all is so beautiful.

The pop star went on to suggest that it was the support of those around her that gave her the strength to carry on and encouraged her to continue to pursue her ambitions.

“thank u so much for being here. and for reminding me why i am too! (sic),” she wrote.

Ariana Grande has remixed a tattoo she inked for former lover Pete Davidson.

The 7 Rings singer posted a photo to Instagram of her dressed in a black crop top, while lying on her back and showing off the large new leafy design that extends across her ribs and incorporates the old tattoo which read “Always”.

While the slogan is now less prominent, Ariana insisted to her fans that she is just “evolvin”.

“post run thrus, 3 am with @girlknewyork 🙂 not a cover up just evolvin (sic),” she wrote in the accompanying caption. “also, our show opens tomorrow. i love u and i’m so grateful. see u soon.”

Ariana enjoyed a short-lived engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete, who she dated for five months before they split in October (18) – a month after the shock death of her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller.

Since their split, they’ve both either covered up or redone a number of inkings they got during their whirlwind romance.

In December, she showed off a touching tattoo tribute to Mac — in a behind-the-scenes video from her music video Thank U, Next, inking the name of his rescue dog Myron. Ariana’s new ink went over a tribute to Pete’s late father, firefighter Scott Davidson, who died during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York City.

The 25-year-old had inked his badge number, ‘8418’ at the front of her ankle, which matched Pete’s left forearm etching of the number.

Meanwhile, last month the comic inked over a tribute to his former love which read ‘mille tendresse’ – ‘a thousand tendernesses’ – scribbling it out in red ink and replaced it with the word ‘cursed’ in a bold, black font.

The singer’s Sweetener World Tour begins in New York on Monday.
