Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan is launching an organic skincare line after realising many products she was using were not that good for her.

The ageless 55 year old admits she started becoming concerned about the face creams and makeup she was using on her skin when she took note of the ingredients, and decided to investigate.

“I have always been very health conscious and so in my quest to always live a healthier, more sustainable life, I would search for beauty products that would be healthy and good for you,” she tells Access Live. “It’s really hard to find. So, I decided to create my own.

“It’s an organic line and we have moisturiser and eye serum right now, and it’s gonna run the spectrum of deodorants, toothpaste – everything organic, and truly organic. (There will) be nothing hidden in there that’s bad for you.

“Biolumiere Organics is going to be up on my website… and people can access it and read all about it. I’m really excited it.”

The launch comes as Nicollette prepares to step down from her role on revamped TV drama Dynasty to look after her dying mum, who is battling Stage 4 cancer.

The actress will make her final appearance as drama queen Alexis Carrington on the show on Friday (22Mar19) and on Monday, she publicly thanks the series’ bosses and fans for supporting her decision to put family first.

“I’m really grateful to… everybody who understands why I left the show,” she told Access Live. “(I have) a great following and thank you for being there and I’ll be back.”

Debra Messing turned to good food, water and toothpaste for Will & Grace return

Will & Grace star Debra Messing would never trade any decade for her 50s, because she feels and looks better than ever.

The actress, who recently hit 50, insists she’d hate to go back in time and revisit her 20s, 30s or 40s – because she’s having too much fun where she’s at now.

And she credits much of her new look and feelings on what she puts in her body.

Debra admits she had to take a long, hard look at herself when talk of a Will & Grace revival first hit the headlines last year (17).

“I think the only thing that was a concern coming back after 11 and a half years was, ‘OK, how do I look?’ – because it’s a long time,” she tells Access Live.

“I got my red hair back – that was number one, because it was brown from doing (TV movie) Dirty Dancing, and I started eating really, really clean and just really focused on getting my health in check… drinking lots and lots of water, for sure, and laughing goes a long way to making you look better…

“And getting the smile back – because Grace is a smiler.”

The actress partnered with Colgate Optic White in an effort to clean up her teeth – and is now a spokesperson for the brand.

“It’s something that I’ve used for years and years and years, and it’s just great; it works for me,” she explains. “I’m a single mom, I’ve got no time for things that don’t work.”

And she hopes fans of the Will & Grace revival, which is all set to return for a second season, agree she’s looking better than ever: “I turned 50 and I feel really good,” she beams. “I look back at pictures when we started Will & Grace and Lord knows my hair is very different and I’m a little curvier – nothing wrong with that – and my teeth are just as bright now as they were when I was 30, so that’s a good thing.”

Actress Elizabeth Hurley has overhauled her diet and digestion thanks to a recent detox getaway in Austria.

The Brit recently checked into a wellness clinic and spent eight days learning all about good eating – and now she feels better than ever as she uses what she picked up in her daily life.

“It was all about resetting the body, resetting your digestion, and they told me some very interesting things,” Elizabeth tells news show Access Live about her time in rehab. “You do lose weight as a side effect, but that’s not why you’re there; you’re there just basically to get healthy.

“They said that most of us eat too much, too fast, too often and too late and those are the key things that I really took back with me.

“You do this cure for eight days with them and then you try to get it to 21 days at home… and you just try and follow those principals. You just eat well and chew your food. It’s all about chewing your food and just being nice to your digestion.”

And Hurley is so impressed with the results, she’s trying to encourage all women to think about what they’re eating, how often and how much.

The actress, who is Estee Lauder’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month ambassador, adds, “Women have to learn to really take care of themselves and digestion and diet and exercise is a keen point.

“Women are the caretakers of the world, so if we don’t take care of ourselves we can’t take care of anyone else.”

Teenage actress Yara Shahidi is encouraging young fashionistas to try acupuncture, revealing the needle point therapy helps her look and feel great.

The black-ish star has become one of the most influential young style and health gurus in the past year, and she admits one of the big secrets of her glowing skin and healthy look is acupuncture and cupping.

Raving about the alternative Chinese techniques during an appearance on Access Live on Tuesday (27Mar18), Yara said, “I just started and so far it’s worked really well… It brings blood to the surface and helps release tension. It’s been very cool.”

But she reveals she had to start planning her sessions better, so she’s not marked for awards shows and premieres, where she likes to show a little skin.

“You have to explain the marks wherever you go,” she chuckles.

The cupping marks Yara showed off as she arrived at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (24Mar18) became a big talking point, as did her pretty polka dot outfit.

The actress insists she doesn’t stress out over what she wears for parties, premieres and awards ceremonies, because she loves fittings with Jason Bolden, who was recently named one of Hollywood’s top stylists.

“Our fittings are so much fun because it is really about finding things that feel like Yara rather than being like, ‘Strategically you should wear this’, or, ‘This is what you should do’,” Yara explains. “It’s really about, ‘What do we wanna do? How do we make it fun? How do we make it enjoyable? How do we make it even (more) impactful?'”
