Lindsay Ellingson has given birth to her first child.

The model, who has walked the runway for the likes of Chanel, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, and Victoria’s Secret, announced on Tuesday that she and husband Sean Clayton had welcomed a baby boy named Carter John Clayton on 15 May.

“Our lives are forever changed and we couldn’t be more grateful! Welcome to the world little Carter,” she wrote alongside a slideshow of images of her holding little Carter on her Instagram page. “He’s such an angel, so cuddly and sweet, I’m so in love!”

Lindsay’s post soon attracted the attention of her celebrity pals, with the likes of Adriana Lima, Martha Hunt, Emily DiDonato, Lily Aldridge, and Sara Sampaio all sharing congratulatory messages.

And opening up about her birth experience in an interview with People magazine, the blonde beauty shared that while it was disappointing that her family couldn’t be at the hospital due to the coronavirus lockdown restrictions, everything went smoothly.

“It was surreal to finally hold my little boy,” the 35-year-old smiled. “I had felt his kick for months and had dreamt about him so many times. The doctor put him on my chest for skin-to-skin time and he looked right up at me, and then to Sean. We were crying tears of joy and relief. It’s a moment I will never forget.”

Lindsay and Sean wed in 2014. She confirmed her pregnancy news in January.

Adriana Lima has released her first collaboration with eyewear brand Prive Revaux.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel has created four styles, inspired by her daughters Valentina, 10, and Sienna, seven, as well as her grandmother, for the Adriana Lima x Prive Revaux capsule collection.

Adriana wanted her debut line to feature timeless styles, as sunglasses are an “everyday staple” in her own life due to her needing prescription lenses.

“I never leave the house without a pair of sunglasses. When Prive Revaux came to me with the opportunity to collaborate with them and create my very own collection, I was thrilled and knew I wanted timeless options that could be worn from the street to the red carpet,” the 38-year-old explained in a statement accompanying news of the collection.

Adriana joins the likes of Dove Cameron and Madelaine Petsch in collaborating with the team at the eyewear company.

The range includes The Panther, oversized aviators available in four colourways, the contemporary Love Valentia, named for her eldest daughter, hybrid aviator Love Sienna, in honour of her youngest child, and retro oversized frames The Julia, which were inspired by her beloved grandmother.

“We are excited to welcome Adriana to the Prive Revaux team,” founder David Schottenstein shared. “Adriana’s designs are fresh, fun and heartfelt, just like her style.”

Items in the Adriana Lima x Prive Revaux collection are priced at $39.95 (£30) and are available to buy from the brand’s website.

Alexa Chung has urged shoppers to ditch fast fashion and invest in vintage clothes instead.

The model and designer, who is currently co-hosting the new Netflix series Next In Fashion with Queer Eye stylist Tan France, is adamant it is still possible to follow current trends without buying from brands that mass produce items.

“Loads of fashion ideas or trends are regurgitated from the past so you could just buy vintage things,” the 36-year-old told BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat. “They’re readily available, easy and cheap – about three things I’m wearing now are vintage. ”

Alexa also has her own eponymous clothing line, which she was keen to make available to hire for those who would not be able to afford to buy her pieces off the rack.

“It’s something celebrities have the luxury of doing because they borrow from a fashion house and then they send it back and they’re just wearing it for one event,” she explained. “Sharing clothes is such a brilliant idea because it’s true that you might want something special for one occasion, but you don’t want to keep it in your wardrobe.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the TV presenter shared her excitement over Next In Fashion, insisting the programme gives up and coming designers a chance to shine.

“It’s quite typical that you can be one of the most talented people at a company but you’re not necessarily the name of the house. This show gives them a chance if they want to start their own brand and really drive their business forward,” Alexa shared.

Alexa and Tan will serve as both co-hosts and judges on Next In Fashion, as they critique the contestants’ offerings alongside famous faces including designer Tommy Hilfiger, model Adriana Lima, and celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

The winner will be awarded a $250,000 (£191,500) cash prize, as well as the chance to create a range for Net-a-Porter.

Adriana Lima’s love for boxing helped inspire her new collaboration with Puma.

The Brazilian model recently launched her debut 14-piece activewear line, Club Lima, in collaboration with designers at the German sports brand. Adriana’s collection features leather-look leggings, oversized jackets, and cropped hoodies.

“I took inspiration from retro boxing, as this sport has been my passion, and chose four of my favourite colours to bring this collection to life: grey, red, black, and white,” she told Shape magazine, adding that she’s been working “tirelessly” with Puma’s team.

The luxe yet affordable collection ranges in price from $35 (£27) for a training top to $130 (£100) for the AL x PUMA LQDCELL Shatter XT training shoe.

Adriana also opened up about her love for boxing and revealed she’d been training for more than two decades.

“I started boxing 20 years ago, and (at the time) it was known only as a male-only sport/workout,” the former Victoria’s Secret model explained. “After two months of training on the mitts, I realised how fast and strong I could be. That was a different form of confidence and that started to build up on me.”

The 38-year-old has been working with former champion boxers for years, and it was fighter Michael Olajide, Jr. that helped her prepare for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show just five weeks after giving birth to her second daughter in 2012.

And when asked to name her top piece from her Club Lima collection, the brunette beauty insisted that it had to be the $25 (£19) training gloves.

“I always use them. Not only for weights, but I jump rope with the gloves,” she shared, before adding that the main reason she uses them is to prevent germs from spreading. “So many people are touching everything!”

Adriana Lima no longer has any interest in conforming to trends.

As one of the most sought-after names in the fashion industry, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel helps set the style trends by modelling fashion designers’ latest creations.

However, in a new interview with People, the Brazilian model admitted that she was over trends and preferred to decide on her own look.

“I think my style has matured just as I have,” she explained. “You understand your body and what looks good on you. Before, I used to follow trends and now I like to make my own.”

The 38-year-old, who is currently starring in BCBGMAXAZRIA’s fall 2019 campaign, was recently spotted sitting front row at Jason Wu’s spring 2020 New York Fashion Week presentation. And Lima is glad to see the mix of models has become more inclusive over the years but insists there is still more to be done.

“I am happy that it has become more inclusive of people of different races and sizes, but of course there is still a long way to go,” she continued. “My hope is that the industry sends a message of representation. I want any young girl or boy to be able to open up a magazine or website or Instagram, however they view fashion, and feel represented in a beautiful and positive way.”

Through her work in fashion, Lima, who has two daughters Valentina and Sienna, hopes that young girls learn to believe in themselves.

“I tell them to be true to yourself and believe in yourself. No matter what, push yourself and never give up,” Lima stated. “I have been in this business for over 20 years and it hasn’t always been easy, but you have to believe in yourself.”

Supermodels Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista have led tributes to the late Peter Lindbergh.

The German photographer and film director, known for his portraits and cinematic images, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 74. His family did not announce the cause of death but stated that he “leaves a big void”.

In light of the sad news, celebrities and fashion stars have flooded social media with tributes, with Crawford writing on Instagram, “When @therealpeterlindbergh shoots, it’s about the women. It’s not about the hair, make-up, or styling, really. He had a way of turning your imperfections into something unique and beautiful… and his images will always be timeless. You will be so missed Peter. I’m honoured to have known you and worked with you.”

While Evangelista simply posted, “Heartbroken. R.I.P. my Peet.”

Lindbergh garnered international acclaim in the late 1980s when he began photographing a new generation of models, including Evangelista, Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz, and Christy Turlington.

Other industry leaders to share their condolences include photographers Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, designers Peter Dundas, Alber Elbaz, and Victoria Beckham, as well as models Kaia Gerber, Adut Akech, Cara Delevingne, Karen Elson, Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss, and Coco Rocha.

And as one of Lindbergh’s final works was photographing the September 2019 issue of British Vogue, titled Forces for Change, which was guest-edited by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a representative for the British royal posted a tribute on Instagram too.

“His work is revered globally for capturing the essence of a subject and promoting healthy ideals of beauty, eschewing Photoshopping, and preferring natural beauty with minimal make-up,” they wrote. “The Duchess of Sussex had worked with Peter in the past and personally chose him to shoot the 15 women on the cover for the September issue of British Vogue, which she guest edited. There is no other photographer she considered to bring this meaningful project to life… He will be deeply missed.”

Margot Robbie wowed in a white dress at the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiere in Los Angeles on Monday night.

Some of the film industry’s biggest stars turned out for the premiere of Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, which focuses on the story of TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt), as they set out to make names for themselves in the film industry at the time of the Charles Manson murders in Los Angeles in 1969.

Australian actress Margot portrays Sharon Tate in the movie, and for the star-studded event, she opted for a flowing white Chanel number with a deep-V neckline, flowing sleeves and floor-sweeping skirt.

Referencing the time period of the film, the 29-year-old’s hairstylist Bryce Scarlett styled her blonde locks into soft curls, while her make-up artist Pati Dubroff opted for a “hot summer ’70s vibe,” and used Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronzing Make-up Base and the Duo Bronze et Lumiere Clair palette to achieve her bronzed complexion.

Margot accessorised her ensemble with gold chandelier earring and a gold purse.

Meanwhile, Leonardo and Brad both looked handsome in sharp suits, and filmmaker Quentin chose a black suit with a velvet blazer.

Rumer Willis, who plays Joanna Pettet, rocked a beautiful white Grecian gown from Ong-Oaj Pairam and high heels from Christian Louboutin, and was supported by her sisters Scout and Tallulah.

Margaret Qualley, who takes on the part of Pussycat in the film, made it a family affair too, stopping to pose in her sheer Prada dress alongside her father Paul Qualley and sister Rainey.

Rising star Austin Butler, who plays Charles “Tex” Watson, was joined by his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, who looked stunning in a black Armani gown, with other castmembers to turn out for the bash included Timothy Olyphant, Rebecca Gayheart, Bruce Dern, and Zoe Bell.

Additionally, celebrities such as Adriana Lima, Rob Lowe, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, Pierce Brosnan, Britney Spears, Robin Thicke, John Stamos, Chris Hemsworth, and Sofia Vergara got dressed to the nines for the night as well.
