Kiernan Shipka was a fashion force to be reckoned with at the Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday (23Mar19), rocking up in a bow-tiful Miu Miu dress.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina actress looked stunning in her cute but elegant dress from the label’s Pre-Fall 2019 line, which featured an embellished top with a cutout on the torso, a black bow on the waist and an ivory pleated skirt.

Kiernan completed her look with black accessories and stud earrings, and wore her blonde hair in a high bun. Inside the awards ceremony, held at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, the 19-year-old star posed with fellow stars including To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before actress Lana Condor, who looked stylish in a ruched white crop top and high-waisted red trousers.

Kiernan also shared a snap on her Instagram page alongside Bebe Rexha, as well as a shot which showed that her gorgeous dress had narrowly avoided being slimed during the awards ceremony – with a tiny bit of the green goop landing on her arm.

Elsewhere, The Kissing Booth star Joey King looked picture perfect as she posed for photographers ahead of the awards, wearing a Jacquemus ensemble consisting of a knit shirt and leather harness teamed with wide-leg leather cargo pants and a mini handbag.

And Janelle Monae also dressed to impress, wowing in a checked tuxedo jacket from the Petar Petrov spring ’19 runway collection which she wore as a dress. Finishing off her look, the Hidden Figures actress added a pair of Christian Louboutin ankle boots and a black hat, with yellow earrings complimenting the yellow accents in her boots.

Jennifer Hudson and Ally Brooke were two of the other stars who pulled out all the stops with their ensembles at the ceremony.

Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke is “finally” able to play around with her look now she’s forging a career as a solo singer.

Ally found fame after she was put in a group with Dinah Jane, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello in 2012 after each of the singers failed to impress as solo artists on The X Factor USA.

Though they didn’t win their series, the band enjoyed chart domination with songs like Work From Home. However, in March (18), a little over a year after Camila quit the group to pursue solo success, the others decided to follow suit, meaning Ally is now free to switch up her style.

“I’ll finally be able to play around with my look and have more freedom in my style,” she divulged to Refinery29. “I can’t wait to experiment once the music comes out and we do videos.”

Ally’s first album is currently in the works, and the 25-year-old, who says she’s the “freest and happiest” she’s ever been, debuted track Vamonos at an English festival in September.

The singer further explained how she has always been inspired by the beauty world.

“I would experiment with make-up when I was younger, and I loved it,” she smiled. “Of course, working with different make-up artists, I would see what they were using on my face and observe the different brands. And I’ve always loved a good (false) lash, it’s my favourite part, and I’ve been doing them since I was 15 years old.”
