Robert Pattinson has been declared as the world’s “most beautiful” man by a top plastic surgeon.
Dr. Julian De Silva measured the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and facial shape of many male celebrities, using the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, and concluded that the Twilight actor came closest to the Greeks’ idea of perfection.
“The 33-year-old actor was found to be 92.15 per cent accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – which measures physical perfection,” Dr. De Silva wrote on Instagram. “The list was compiled using the latest computerised mapping techniques. Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.
“The Golden Ratio was a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks in an attempt to measure beauty… The premise behind this is that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful they become.”
Pattinson’s chin, eye position, and nose length/width came the closest to perfection, while his lips scored the lowest percentage.
Justice League star Henry Cavill came in second on Dr. De Silva’s most beautiful list with 91.64 per cent, followed by Bradley Cooper in third with 91.08 per cent, Brad Pitt in fourth with 90.51 per cent, and George Clooney in fifth with 89.91 per cent.
Clooney had previously topped the list but had dropped down to fifth as “the effect of ageing on the 58-year-old had resulted in a loss of volume in the face,” Dr. De Silva explained.
Retired sports star David Beckham came in seventh place, although he had a near-perfect ratio in the size of his nose and his lips.
Back in October, Dr. De Silva declared Bella Hadid the world’s most beautiful woman, followed by Beyonce and Amber Heard.

Amber Heard is fascinated by the way in which make-up can help women express themselves.
The actress, who has been a spokesperson for L’Oreal Paris since 2018, has opened up about her love of cosmetics in an interview with Allure, and during the chat, noted that she feels a sense of freedom whenever she puts on sparkly eyeliner or red lipstick.
“Make-up and all beauty products can be the tools that you make them,” she told the publication. “But they aren’t what makes you a woman. That’s not what makes you powerful. I think offering us more tools to express our identity is power. It’s empowering women.”
Amber went on to explain that it’s taken her a long time to embrace being a “very feminine person” and said she will not “make excuses or apologise for being that way”.
Elsewhere, the Aquaman star shared her top skincare tips. In particular, she explained how double cleansing has changed her complexion.
“A clean face is real important,” the 33-year-old shared. “I never skip it. I double cleanse, then, alternate exfoliant and extra moisturiser.”
Amber, who is a self-confessed skincare addict, also likes to treat herself to facials at home and revealed her latest obsession is eye cream.
“I don’t know why,” she laughed. “It just makes me feel better. I feel like if I keep putting it on enough and just never have to think about it.”

Slick Woods attended the Puma x Balmain clothing launch on Thursday, shortly after it was revealed she was battling melanoma cancer.
The 23-year-old model, real name Simone Thompson, casually announced that she was undergoing chemotherapy on Instagram on Wednesday and reporters at The Shade Room subsequently claimed she had told them she was suffering from stage three melanoma cancer.
And Slick proved that she wasn’t letting her health battle get her down when she made a public appearance at the launch of fellow model Cara Delevingne’s clothing collaboration with Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing and sportswear giant Puma at Milk Studios in Los Angeles.
Dressed in black trousers, a baseball cap, sneakers and a denim jacket, she styled the look in an interesting way by securing the bottom buttonhole to the top button, exposing her shoulder, midriff, and green mesh vest top.
The launch was also attended by models Alessandra Ambrosio and Shanina Shaik and stars including Amber Heard, Eva Longoria, Bella Thorne, Machine Gun Kelly, and G-Eazy, who all sported pieces from the boxing-inspired collection.
The Savage x Fenty model referred to her medical treatment when she shared a photo of herself sticking out her tongue while out with her boyfriend Micky Munday and some friends.
“How I feel about chemotherapy, shout out to everyone that gotta go through it #atleastimalreadybald,” she wrote in the caption.
As fans expressed their shock at the news and sent their well wishes, Slick shared a picture of a pouting child and urged her followers to “stop treating me like a victim”.
Slick gave birth to a son named Saphir, who she shares with model Adonis Bosso, shortly after walking the Savage X Fenty show in September 2018.

A surgeon using an ancient ratio has claimed Bella Hadid is the world’s most beautiful woman.
Top plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva has scrutinised the world’s great beauties, using the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, and determined that the 23-year-old model is near perfection.
Dr. De Silva found Hadid’s face to be 94.35 per cent “accurate” to the Golden Ratio after measuring her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape, stating: “She is closest to the ancient Greeks’ idea of perfection.”
In an Instagram explanation, he added, “The list was compiled using the latest computerised mapping techniques, which allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful. The technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery.
“To be deemed ‘beautiful’ according to the Golden Ratio, the length of the ear must be equal to the length of the nose and the width of an eye should be equal to the distance between the eyes.”
In a second post on Instagram, he revealed that the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – which focuses on symmetry and proportion – dates back to the European Renaissance from the 14th and 17th centuries, when artists and architects used it to help with their work.
Beyonce was second on the list with 92.44 per cent, followed by Amber Heard with 91.85 per cent, Ariana Grande with 91.81 per cent and Taylor Swift with 91.64 per cent.

Pirates of the Caribbean fans are trying to get Johnny Depp reinstated as Captain Jack Sparrow for the upcoming sixth instalment of the swashbuckling film series.
Johnny has helmed the role since 2003’s The Curse of the Black Pearl, but was let go in December after executives at Disney decided to freshen up the franchise after the poor performance of 2017’s Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The news hasn’t gone down well with fans though, and numerous petitions have popped up calling for Johnny’s return.
One, started by user Femke on change.org, explains: “I want to keep Johnny Depp as jack sparrow because he made the films extra fun and I just can’t think about a pirates 6 without Johnny Depp.”
So far it has received close to 15,000 signatures.
A second on the change.org website, which fan Riza Siddiqui is behind, has garnered 5,000 signatures.
In her plea for the 55-year-old’s return to the role, which won him his first Oscar nomination in 2004, Riza said: “Can you imagine someone else portraying this instead of him? Or no Jack Sparrow at all? Disney is rebooting Dead Men Tell No Tales because of its box office but don’t they know that without Johnny Depp or Jack Sparrow they will sink, they will never be able to reach that horizon they are looking for. Even if it means nothing to you but please, sign this petition for the ones who REALLY want Johnny Depp as their Captain of the Black Pearl!
“They have to bring him back to rule the seas again or we will never watch any Pirates of the Caribbean movie without our Captain.”
She also flagged that his personal life was to blame for his sacking. Among his legal woes at the moment is a lawsuit from his former lawyers for allegedly failing to pay for their services and a nasty court battle with his ex-wife Amber Heard, who has claimed Johnny was physically and mentally abusive to her during their two-year union – accusations he denies.

Warner Bros. has started work on the Aquaman sequel – hiring David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick to write the script.
The film, based on the DC comics character and starring Jason Momoa as the title character, with Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman in supporting roles, was directed by James Wan, and became a huge hit for the movie studio.
It took $68.7 million (£60.2 million) in its opening weekend in North America, and sailed past $1 billion (£778 million) worldwide. And according to editors at The Hollywood Reporter Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the Aquaman script with Will Beall, has been given the go ahead to start work on the sequel.
Johnson-McGoldrick, who worked with director Wan on The Conjuring 2, first began working on the script for the original movie three years ago after reading the Aquaman comic books during filming for the horror.
In an interview with website Moviehole in December he explained writing the DC Comics franchise was a lot of fun.
“It was a little like getting to go play and I felt like the challenges that were faced were harder for Zach Snyder for Justice League — because he was the one who had to figure out who Aquaman was, he told the website. “Zach cast Jason (Momoa) which completely shattered people’s perceptions and we were able to steer Jason back to the classic Aquaman. I don’t think you could’ve shown him in a suit right out of the gate. He had to show Aquaman was cool.”
At present it’s unclear whether Wan will return to direct the sequel, but he is said to be in talks to return as producer.
The news of Johnson-McGoldrick’s hiring comes after Warner Bros. announced that it is developing a spinoff around Aquaman villain The Trench. Wan and Safran are reportedly set to produce the flick, which is being developed as a lower budget version of Aquaman. However, none of the main cast is set to be involved.

Jason Momoa and James Wan had reason to celebrate over the weekend – their movie Aquaman made $1 billion (£770,000) at the worldwide box office.
The film is the first DC Comics offering to reach the impressive milestone since The Dark Knight in 2008, and Jason, who stars as the titular superhero, was quick to take to Instagram to thank fans for their support.
As well as thanking director James, Jason also paid his respects to Zack Snyder, who first cast the actor as Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.
“BILLION DOLLAR UNDERDOG. from baywatch to making what once was the most disrespected superhero into a billion dollar movie. no one gets to the top without the people that love them,” Jason wrote. “My success is from my fans. All my aloha to everyone that had a hand in making this movie. Mahalo Zack for choosing me and mahalo James for creating this beautiful world. #grateful #lovemyfans #billiondollarunderdog #borntoclimb #outofholes #aquaman2 #cheeeehuuuuuu #hhrajahh. Aloha j.”
James also celebrated the milestone on his Twitter page, writing: “A few things to say… Firstly, this movie wouldn’t be what it is without the astonishing achievement of everyone involved, from the head of departments to every single crew member, who demanded upmost excellence in helping design and create this cinematic experience.”
He then thanked Jason, tweeting: “Secondly, I’ll forever be indebted to Jason for turning Aquaman into one of the coolest, cinematic superheroes ever, and becoming the gold standard for this character for generations to come.”
Continuing to thank fellow cast members including Patrick Wilson and Amber Heard, James concluded: “THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported this underdog. For making this non-mainstream character (and yes — with leading POC individuals in front and behind the camera!) connect on such a huge global scale. In the words of Aquaman himself, ‘MAHALO’.”

Amber Heard is adamant it is time to “retire” stereotypes about blonde women.
The actress has experimented with her hair colour many times over the course of her career, having previously sported brunette locks and even a red wig for her role as Mera in the new Aquaman film.
However, Amber always ends up returning to her signature bright blonde shade, and has now revealed she’s fed up of being judged by her hair colour.
“It’s time for all the cliches about blondes to step aside,” she said in an interview with Glamour.com. “It’s time to retire stereotypes about blondes – or any woman’s hair colour, for that matter.”
Amber was named as a global brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris last May (18) and is currently fronting the beauty brand’s #OWNINGIT campaign for Superior Preference hair dye, alongside fellow actresses Courteney Cox and Julianne Moore.
The star sports flowing light gold locks in the marketing imagery, and went on to explain that the concept genuinely resonated with her.
“As I get older, I feel more and more aligned with owning my hair colour, no matter what colour it is. It feels less as though I’m trying to carry around others’ expectations – or my expectations of others’ impressions of me – based on my physical appearance, and instead I’m truly owning my own colour, and whatever I want that colour to be,” the 32-year-old commented.
As for caring for her shiny tresses, Amber tries to avoid heat styling whenever possible and is a big fan of using leave-in conditioning products for extra hydration.
“There’s a L’Oreal Rapid Reviver Deep Condition that has the power of a leave-in, but it washes out just like that in a minute. It can easily fit into your life,” she smiled.

Courteney Cox has landed a L’Oreal Paris hair colour campaign.
The Friends actress joins Julianne Moore and Amber Heard in the new commercial, promoting the brand’s Superior Preference range.
The product first launched in 1973 – introducing the now famous tagline “Because I’m Worth It” – and Courteney’s adverts will get their first airing during the Golden Globes coverage on Sunday (06Jan19).
“I actually maintain my hair colour at home – it’s really easy,” the star, who used to be a Pantene ambassador, smiled to reporters at People.com. “I don’t have a lot of grey, but I do touch-ups. And once every two months I’ll go to the salon, just because it’s a nice pampering.
“I wash my hair every day. Sometimes I’ll put a comb through it, but most days I just go! I don’t brush it (either), so I was thrilled that L’Oreal wanted to work with me! It’s a real compliment.”
Revealing her go-to hue is 3C Cool Darkest Brown, the 54-year-old noted that she’s sticking with brunette when it comes to her hair colour.
“I’ve changed my hair colour for a couple of characters. But I’ve really been a brunette my entire life. It’s who I am,” she said.
During her chat with People, the actress, who now rocks a much more natural look, also explained how she’s finally embraced getting older, after initially having “a hard time” with it.

Lady Gaga led the glamour at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (06Jan19), wowing in a stunning eggshell blue ballgown.
The 32-year-old singer and actress may have missed out on the Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama prize for her role in A Star Is Born, but she topped numerous best-dressed lists thanks to her custom Valentino couture creation.
Fans were quick to point out the similarity between Gaga’s show-stopping outfit and the dress worn by Judy Garland in the 1954 version of A Star Is Born. However, the multi-talented star, who picked up the Best Original Song gong for her A Star Is Born tune Shallow at the event, insisted any likeness was entirely unplanned.
Shown a picture of Judy in the gown by reporters at Entertainment Tonight, Gaga replied: “We didn’t say that. No, but it looks an awful lot like that, doesn’t it? She looks beautiful. This is a Valentino Couture custom creation for me. That’s special, except I’m missing the gloves. Thank you for showing me that. It made my night.”
Gaga teamed her one-of-a-kind dress with $5 million (£3.9 million) worth of Tiffany & Co. diamonds, and complemented the look by dyeing her platinum blonde hair a matching shade of blue.
The star wasn’t the only celebrity to opt for a ballgown for the occasion. Crazy Rich Asians actress Constance Wu and GLOW beauty Alison Brie both opted for floor-grazing dresses from Vera Wang, while Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart matched the red carpet in an eye-catching Khyeli Couture number.
Penelope Cruz went for drama in her black and purple Ralph & Russo halterneck gown, while newly-engaged Heidi Klum was pretty as a princess in her Monique Lhuillier dress, which featured floral embellishments on the black tulle skirt.
Emmy Rossum, Jameela Jamil, Isla Fisher, and Amber Heard also opted for full gowns.
