Samuel L. Jackson has signed up to play a retired hitman in an upcoming action movie.

The 71-year-old will star as Morris Stokes, the trusted former enforcer for mob boss Easy-A, who is forced to come out of retirement when his nephew gets involved with the gangsters.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra are onboard to helm the flick, which will be produced by The Predator franchise’s John Davis, according to Deadline.

And Jackson will be reuniting with scriptwriter Matthew Stone, who co-wrote his 2008 comedy Soul Men, in which he played one half of a bickering singing duo, alongside the late Bernie Mac.

The Oscar nominee, who recently starred as Nick Fury in the Marvel blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, has a busy year ahead of him, with projects including the upcoming Saw re-imagining, Spiral.

Chris Rock wrote, executive produced, and stars in the thriller, which follows a pair of detectives who investigate a killer who is targeting police officers. Max Minghella also stars alongside Rock and Jackson.

The Pulp Fiction star has also reprised his role as hitman Darius Kincaid for The Hitman’s Bodyguard sequel, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, with Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, and Richard E. Grant. It will be in cinemas from August.

He’ll also be in the historical drama The Banker, starring Anthony Mackie, Nicholas Hoult and Nia Long, which will premiere on Apple TV+ in March.

Amber Rose has defended her decision to have her sons’ names tattooed onto her face.

The model/actress took to Instagram earlier this week to upload two snaps showing her new body art – the words “Bash” and “Slash” in italic script across the top of her forehead – a tribute to her boys Sebastian, six, and four-month-old Slash.

However, many of Amber’s 19 million followers were quick to criticise her bold inkings, with one writing, “Why on your beautiful face. Of all places?” and another adding: “That’s not real. No way. Please no.”

But it appears the 36-year-old is unfazed by the backlash, and in a post on Wednesday, she commented, “Beauty is not what’s on the outside… it’s what’s on the inside that counts. Inside of my P**sy and inside of my heart.”

She also uploaded a note where she fired back at claims that she was “too pretty” for a face tattoo.

“For the people that are telling me I’m too pretty for a face tat are the same people that would tell me I’m ‘too pretty’ even if they thought I was ugly and lie to me Lol (laugh out loud). Or they would just tell me I’m ugly,” she wrote. “So either way the moral of the story is do whatever the f**k you want in life – Muva.”

Amber is the latest celebrity to get a face tattoo. Her partner, Def Jam record label executive Alexander ‘A.E’ Edwards, who is the father of baby Slash, got the birth dates of the two children on his forehead with a lightning bolt in between the numbers earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown, Post Malone, and Presley Gerber have all taken to social media in recent weeks to display their new facial designs.

Amber shares Sebastian with her ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa.

Actress and activist Jameela Jamil has slammed pregnant Amber Rose for promoting a new diet tea for expectant mums.

The Good Place star, who has been vocal about her fight against celebrity-sponsored diet ads, took to Twitter on Wednesday to condemn the model for appearing in ads for the Flat Tummy Co. product Organic Pregnancy Tea.

“So many women, with such big platforms, promoting such irresponsible f**k, that it blows my mind,” Jamil wrote alongside a repost of Rose’s promotional ad.

Rose appeared to respond to the backlash and defended her decision by editing her original post, writing: “This is not a detox tea – it’s specially designed to help reduce occasional nausea and support digestion during pregnancy – haters stop riding the bandwagon and think for yourselves.”

Jamil has been on a mission to expose the harmful side effects of the product, which has also been promoted by Kim and Khloe Kardashian, and has circulated a petition to “stop celebrities promoting toxic diet products on social media”, which currently has over 242,000 signatures.

“I am not going to stop coming after all the people, men and women, who perpetuate this gross culture of forcing women to remain small and doll-like in order to be accepted by society,” she tweeted last year.

Jamil previously called out Khloe for being “irresponsible” for backing the Flat Tummy Co.’s shakes back in March.

“If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probably chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product… And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy… Then I guess I have to,” she wrote online.

She then listed “cramping, stomach pains, diarrhea and dehydration” among the symptoms those who try the shakes might experience.

Amber Rose used her 2018 MTV Video Music Awards outfit to protest “derogatory labels”.

The model and activist stepped out at the music ceremony held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Monday night (20Aug18) in a dominatrix-inspired ensemble including red latex corset, face mask, fishnet tights and thigh-high boots.

Speaking to People reporters on the red carpet, Amber explained that her cone-shaped bra was a tribute to Madonna’s iconic Blonde Ambition tour costume, while the rest of her “intergalactic space s**t” look was put together with the intention of opposing stereotypes.

“Regardless of how you dress, that doesn’t make you a s**t, it doesn’t make you a w**re,” she explained. “Those are all just derogatory labels that men and women use against other women to put us down for being confident in our sexuality without even knowing our past sexual history.”

In a video uploaded to Instagram shortly before Amber arrived at the star-studded bash, she also shared that she wanted her outfit to help raise awareness for her upcoming SlutWalk event. The fourth annual protest, in which activists call for an end to rape culture, victim blaming and shaming of sexual assault victims, is due to take place in Pershing Square, Los Angeles on 6 October.

“Hey guys, it’s your girl Amber Rose, and I’m just here sitting on this soft bed, thinking about my SlutWalk this year,” the 34-year-old commented. “I want you ladies to come out and protest against rape culture, sexual violence, slut-shaming, victim-blaming and double standards. I want all the misogynistic men to be so f**king mad this year that we’re not only confident in our bodies, but we’re confident in our sexuality as well. Be mad, ooh, be extra mad.”

Amber previously made a sartorial statement at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2014 when she turned up in a body-baring Laurel DeWitt silver chain-link dress.

New mum Cardi B took the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet by storm on Monday night (20Aug18) in a couture fuchsia gown.

The Bodak Yellow rapper welcomed daughter Kulture with Migos star Offset in July (18) and it appears she has already lost most of her pregnancy weight, as she showed off her svelte figure at the prizegiving, held at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

The gorgeous, off-the-shoulder dress she chose to wear for her big comeback was custom designed by Nicolas Jebran, and featured a thigh-high slit. She completed the look with strappy pink heels and emerald Lorraine Schwartz earrings, while debuting a chic bob.

Cardi previously teased she would not be making a public appearance until her body snapped back from the pregnancy, informing fans last month on Instagram she was using TeaMi tea products and a popular waist training device to try and shed the baby weight.

“The snap back begins!” she exclaimed. “S**t, I’m about to be a bad b**ch again!”

“I’m trying to pee and s**t all this lil weight on me,” she added. “Ya ain’t seeing my body till i snap back motherf**kers… This @teamiblends gonna do the work!!! Teamiblends and waist straining all summer shlong (sic)!”

While Cardi chose a more elegant and muted outfit for the VMAs, other celebrities decided to show their wild sides.

Amber Rose turned up to the event as a devilish dominatrix in an all red latex one-piece, accessorising the sexy outfit with even more raunchy flair by adding red fishnets, thigh-high boots and a whip to the look.

Ariana Grande, who is up for Artist of the Year among her five nominations on the night, took a decidedly different style turn than her famous peers, opting for a fairytale look instead. Accompanied by her comedian fiance Pete Davidson on the red carpet, the loved up No Tears Left to Cry hitmaker tapped into her inner pixie by donning a silver mini-dress with matching over-the-knee boots.

Model and TV personality Amber Rose has worn the same scent since middle school.

The 34-year-old beauty is thankful her favourite perfumes have not been discontinued in the 20 years she has been wearing them, because the fragrances have become a key part of her image and personality.

“I use a mixture of Moschino Cheap & Chic and Clive Christian No. 1. Moschino Cheap & Chic has been my go to since the 7th grade,” she tells America’s GQ magazine. “It’s like my own personal announcer when I walk into a room. People know I’m there, from my scent alone.

“I randomly came across Clive Christians No. 1 at a department store. I fell in love with it immediately. Plus, it has an oil in it that sticks all day, which is perfect.”

Wiz Khalifa’s ex-wife, who recently began dating basketball player Monte Morris, is sensitive to smells and refuses to romance anyone with bad breath and body odor.

“If someone had bad breath on a first date, I would definitely never call you again,” she explains. “I love Cinnamon Trident (chewing gum). That’s one of my favourites. And then I like the Strawberry Starburst gum. It’s fairly new, but that’s definitely my signature. I don’t really like minty gums.”

Although she is a stickler for a great scent, Amber insists she isn’t shallow in the slightest and could care less about couture clothing or other material items.

“You need to have a good smile and personality. All that other stuff is just extra,” she says.

Amber Rose has teamed up with the designers at Simply Be to launch a capsule collection.

The model and media personality was inspired to create the line after experiencing difficulty finding comfortable clothes after she welcomed her son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa in 2013.

“After I had my son I was 202 pounds (91 kilograms) and it took me almost a year to lose the weight,” she told People magazine. “So, I was wearing plus-size for a while and I found it very difficult to find easy pieces to throw on that I felt comfortable in.”

The 25-piece line will range from sizes six to 32 and each piece costs between $25 (£19) and $40 (£30).

Amber went on to explain that it was very important to her that the garments were inclusive and suitable for busy women.

“I just love that it comes in all shapes and sizes, I’m very body positive and I didn’t want to leave any girl out, so we have all sizes for every shape of women. That’s pretty much why I wanted to do this line with them,” the 34-year-old shared. “I’m a mum, I work a lot. I wanted to have easy pieces that I could dress up or dress down and add accessories to them and wear while on-the-go. I wanted something convenient for girls, to kind of flow on and still look fabulous.”

And bosses at the U.K. brand are thrilled to be working with Amber as they prepare to launch the company in America.

“Earlier this year, we re-launched the Simply Be brand internationally and made a firm commitment to creating exclusive capsule collections for our customers, with different styles not offered within our core collections,” Rich Storer, U.S. vice president of marketing at N Brown Group, said in a statement. “We chose to collaborate with Amber because she is a style powerhouse who is fantastically unapologetic in lending her voice and influence to both female empowerment and inclusion to all, no matter your age, size, race, sexuality or gender, all of which aligns to our core brand values.”

The collection goes on sale later this month (Jun18).

Model and TV personality Amber Rose has granted her son’s birthday wish and agreed to let him dye his hair blond, so he can look just like his mama.

The busty beauty is known for her bleached blonde locks, and in the run up to little Sebastian’s fifth birthday, she decided to allow her boy to ditch his dark hair in favour of sporting a matching mother/son style.

She took to Instagram on Sunday (11Feb18) to debut his new look, posting a snap of her kid, whose father is Amber’s rapper ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, posing for the camera while wearing one of mum’s oversized hooded sweatshirts.

“My twin,” she captioned the image, alongside a heart-shaped eyes emoji.

Fans were quick to share their approval of Sebastian’s new hair style, which also attracted a few homophobic remarks from critics online, but Amber ignored the backlash and later explained how the makeover came about.

“Lol (laugh out loud) he begged me for a whole year to dye his hair blonde (sic) like mine so we started with a little patch and I told him when he turns 5 I will make him a full blonde like his mommy,” she wrote beside another photo of a smiling Sebastian. “He will be 5 on the 21st of February!”

Amber went on to share a few words of defiance for her detractors, before encouraging fellow parents to embrace their kids’ individuality.

“He’s so happy and none of you dirty little trolls can take that away from him or me!” she continued. “P.S Love your children unconditionally and let them be creative this world will be a better place (sic)”.

Sebastian isn’t the only member of the family sporting a new look – Amber underwent breast reduction surgery last month (Jan18) to ease her chronic back pain.

Amber Rose can’t wait to show off her new look after undergoing a drastic breast reduction.

The model and TV personality underwent surgery earlier this month (Jan17), and now she’s updating fans on the procedure, while revealing her new cup size.

In a post on her Instagram Story, she writes: “Hey guys, I am still in the house recovering from my breast reduction surgery. So I’m really just, you know, letting my hair grow, letting my eyebrows grow out, trying to relax and rest and recover.

“And also, of course, I wanted to give you an update on my new boobs… Look how much smaller they are. I really went down a lot.

“I don’t know if you guys know, but I was a 36-H. I was really, really big, and I think now I might actually just be a D cup, which is, like, really small for me.”

Amber, 34, is looking forward to revamping her wardrobe, adding, “So yeah, I’ve been online shopping and getting cute little shirt and little strapless things, and I’m just so excited to be able to wear an outfit.”

Wiz Khalifa’s ex-wife revealed she was undergoing surgery to reduce the size of her breasts via Instagram on 16 January (17), months after complaining about the pain caused by her 36H breasts.

“My breast reduction surgery is tomorrow,” she wrote. “I’m really scared and really excited at the same time.”

Last summer (17), Amber revealed she was contemplating undergoing breast reduction surgery because her boobs were “stupid heavy”.

Next to a photo of herself wearing a black tank top, with her breasts spilling over, Amber wrote: “I’m thinking about getting a breast reduction this year. My boobs are stupid heavy, my back hurts and I can’t wear cute lil (sic) shirts without a grandma bra. I’m really scared of the lollipop scars tho (sic)… any advice?”

She also wanted to hear from any fans who had already had the procedure done, wondering if they are “much happier” with their smaller busts, even if they have to deal with scarring as a result.

“Tell me about ur (sic) experiences,” she wrote.
