Julianne Hough is hopeful her virtual dance classes will help people connect to their “inner child” amid the coronavirus crisis.

The actress/dancer rose to fame as a professional champion and judge on Dancing with the Stars, and was previously a member of the America’s Got Talent panel.

Julianne launched a “high-sensory activated” exercise format called Kinrgy last August, and in a new interview with U.S. Women’s Health magazine, encouraged fans to take part while they are practicing social distancing at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“It’s a blessing to be able to offer (via the Internet) what people need most in this world right now… which is to feel certainty that they’re going to be O.K., and that they have the power to release all that stress and anxiety and fear,” she told the publication, before insisting the routines are suitable for everyone to try. “I believe we’re all dancers. We were much more self-expressed when we were kids. I’m trying to help people reconnect back to that inner child.”

In addition to taking part in Kinrgy classes, Julianne keeps up her fitness levels by participating in yoga, cycling, or weight training sessions. But she also takes time out of her busy schedule to meditate and investigate holistic practices.

“There is no right or wrong in my viewpoint. It is based on what works well for you,” the 31-year-old insisted. “If those modalities feel strange to people, it may not be for them-or it may not be for them yet-and I’m O.K. with that. I believe in helping people trust what’s already within them.”

Sofia Vergara designed own eyewear line after failing to find ‘cute’ glasses

Sofia Vergara was inspired to create her new eyewear collection after she failed to find a pair of “cute” glasses.

The Modern Family actress has joined forces with the team at U.S. brand Foster Grant to create a collection of reading glasses and sunglasses in order to quash stereotypes surrounding spectacle wearers.

“When I turned 40, 41, 42, I started losing my sight. It’s the normal thing that happens at that age. I refused to wear glasses because I felt old. I was like, ‘No, I’m going to hold it. I don’t need them. I don’t need them,'” the America’s Got Talent judge told People.

Sofia was forced by her son Manolo to get glasses after he told her she would “get a double chin” if she continued squinting at her phone to read, but she was stuck when trying to find a chic pair of spectacles that didn’t make her look old.

“Those little ones at the top of your nose make you look like a granny if you’re reading or something. And I hate that. I prefer the ones that are bold and already a statement, not tiny little things that on your nose,” she explained.

She then partnered with creatives at Foster Grant to dream up the “super affordable, cute and glamorous” line, with prices ranging from $30 to $40 (£25 to £33).

“That’s all the glasses I wear right now,” the 47-year-old commented. “We’re going to have to use them no matter what at this age, so at least use something that makes you look cute, not like you’re the little grandma.”

For every pair of glasses purchased, Foster Grant will donate one pair of reading glasses to the global health organisation RestoringVision.

The Sofia Vergara x Foster Grant line is available on FosterGrant.com, Readers.com, and Walmart.com.

Heidi Klum has been criticised for having her hair coloured in a “socially distant” visit from her hairdresser.

On Wednesday, the 46-year-old took to Instagram to share a cheeky snap of her wearing black lingerie, fishnet tights, black high heels, and a face mask while having her blonde highlights touched up in her garden by celebrity hairstylist Lorenzo Martin.

“Dahhling we found a way! Social distancing highlights. Love you @hairbylorenzomartin,” Klum wrote alongside the photo, which shows the hairdresser wearing gloves, a face mask, and an umbrella with armholes in an attempt to help him keep the required two-metre distance between people per health guidelines amid the coronavirus crisis.

The America’s Got Talent judge also shared snaps from the hair colouring session on her Instagram Stories, including one of her jokingly doing her gardening which she captioned, “#ProcessingTime.”

“Only you!! Love it,” fellow supermodel Naomi Campbell commented, along with a string of laughing emojis.

However, not everyone was happy with Klum’s hair colouring appointment, with some of her followers criticising her for breaking lockdown restrictions.

When one Instagram user asked if the photoshoot was “a joke”, the mother-of-four replied with an eye-roll emoji, and later told another commenter that the point of Martin wearing the umbrella was “to maybe get a smile even (on) your face.”

Safety measures across the U.S. have seen businesses including hair and nail salons closed temporarily amid the Covid-19 outbreak, and in Los Angeles, where Klum is self-isolating, hairdressers will not be permitted to open until June at the earliest.

Gabrielle Union ‘unapologetic’ over America’s Got Talent hairstyles

Gabrielle Union has proudly showcased her America’s Got Talent looks on Instagram following reports claiming she was criticised for appearing “too black” on the show.

The Bring It On actress served as a judge for the TV talent contest’s latest season, but was axed last month amid reports she raised a number of race and gender-related issues to network bosses at NBC.

In a report published by Variety in late November, multiple sources said Gabrielle was told “over half a dozen times” that her rotating hairstyles were “too black” for the show’s audience, and while she hasn’t addressed that detail explicitly, the 47-year-old celebrated her ever-changing hair throughout the series by posting a video slideshow of her looks on Instagram set to Beyonce’s song Flawless on Thursday.

“Unapologetically me,” she wrote in the caption. “Be comfortable and confident with your whole a*s self. It might give others the fluuuxxx but never stop being you. You can shine on your own terms. And if you got something to say (shrug emoji). I don’t take notes rooted in anti-blackness. I love me as i am (sic).”

Gabrielle’s longtime hairstylist Larry Sims previously posted the video to celebrate her hairstyles, which ranged from high ponytails and sleek bobs to intricate updos, in response to the Variety report.

“G A B R I E L L E Too Black? Nah… She’s FLAWLESS!!! @gabunion,” he wrote in the caption, and in the comments, the star wrote, “I (heart) you.”

Multiple reports suggest she had issues with the way she was asked to dress for the programme, while also complaining about a racially-insensitive joke guest judge Jay Leno made backstage. She also reportedly protested when a white contestant darkened his face to look more like Beyonce for an audition skit. The allegations are currently under investigation.

Simon Cowell has lost 20 pounds (nine kilograms) since starting a strict new vegan diet.

The TV and music mogul was urged to ditch red meat, dairy, sugar, bread, and gluten by his doctor earlier this year, and now, he has revealed that the regime has transformed his health and his waistline.

“You feel better. My memory’s better, I feel better, so I didn’t find it difficult. I can still drink beer, so I’m happy,” Cowell told Access Hollywood, as he showed off his svelte figure in a tight-fitting grey shirt and black trousers at the filming of America’s Got Talent.

Back in March, the 59-year-old shared in a chat with Extra that after having blood work done, he was told by a “well-known” doctor that he had to overhaul his diet and lifestyle, and began changing the food he ate within 24 hours.

“I’m thinking, what about alcohol? That’s all I care about. And he said, ‘Maybe not quite as much as you had before,'” he joked.

And Cowell said his diet resembles that of his five-year-old son Eric, who he shares with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

“It’s like the Eric diet because he actually, apart from ice cream, he actually likes water,” he deadpanned. “I mean, who likes water? And his raw vegetables. So I’m on like, the Eric Cowell diet.”

The X Factor judge decided to change his lifestyle following a scary incident in October 2017, when he fainted and fell down the stairs at his home in London during a bout of insomnia.

He was rushed to hospital and later explained that his fall was due to low blood pressure.

“It was a huge shock,” he told The Sun last year. “I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out.”

Gabrielle Union has insisted her daughter Kaavia James has better style than she does.

The Being Mary Jane actress and her basketball player husband Dwyane Wade welcomed their firstborn via surrogate in November last year, and since then, Gabrielle has documented her tot’s day-to-day life on social media.

However, in a new interview with People, she noted that her style confidence has taken a knock since Kaavia James made her arrival.

“Dwyane and I thought we knew how to serve a look until Kaavia James came through to show us how it’s done,” Gabrielle laughed. “Mama is just trying to keep up!”

Earlier this year, the America’s Got Talent judge launched a special baby collection named after her daughter with New York & Company, and also created easy-to-wear pieces so she could twin with the nine-month-old.

Now, she’s focusing on her chic I’m Perfect capsule collection with the U.S. label, and invited women she’s inspired by – including basketball player Candace Parker, actress Dania Ramirez, model Isis King and dancer Nia Sioux – to appear in the accompanying campaign.

And the star is so excited about her previous collaborations with New York & Company, she’s keeping a few garments to show her daughter when she’s older.

“I can’t wait to show her the pieces from her own Kaavi James collection which were inspired by her,” the 46-year-old shared. “Kaavia has a very distinct personality and she’s very active, so often what I think looks great isn’t practical for her. While I love twinning with her, I cannot wait to encourage her to express her individuality.”

Julianne Hough is gearing up to launch a dance-inspired exercise class.

The actress/dancer has risen to fame as a professional champion and judge on Dancing with the Stars, and is also a member of the America’s Got Talent panel.

Over the past few years, Julianne has contemplated creating a new exercise format like the “SoulCycle of dance” but she’s since developed the concept further, and is about to unveil Kinrgy.

“When I think about what I want to create, I want to help people connect back to their truest self,” she said of the project in an interview with U.S. Women’s Health magazine. “When that happens, they can relate to the people around them with no filter and experience the world how we’re supposed to experience it-in its most pure form, which I believe is love.”

The name Kinrgy was invented by Julianne and her team, and merges the words kinaesthetic and kin, as in family, as well as energy. While the star shared few other details about her “high-sensory activated dance method,” she did explain that she wants others to be able to move freely.

“Dance is my superpower, and it has been my whole life, but I didn’t even know it,” the 31-year-old mused. “I have no boundaries when I dance.”

Elsewhere in the chat, Julianne opened up about her battle with endometriosis, a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and Fallopian tubes, and how she uses exercise and abides by a healthy diet to help with her symptoms.

“If I don’t move my body in the morning, I have a fine day,” she smiled. “If I move it first thing, I have an excellent day.”

Julianne will launch Kinrgy in the near future and already has plans to open a studio in Los Angeles.

Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz have reportedly been secretly married for several months.

Public records obtained by editors at TMZ show that the lovebirds tied the knot back in February after getting a confidential marriage certificate in California.

The 29-year-old Tokio Hotel frontman proposed to the supermodel in December after dating for just over a year, and in early February, Klum told Entertainment Tonight she and Kaulitz had set a wedding date, but wouldn’t share details.

“Yeah, I think we did,” she teased. “But you will find out eventually. We’re two Germans, it will be very organised and on time. Very, very much on time and very organised.”

The 46-year-old and the rocker first sparked dating rumours in March last year, after they were spotted kissing on set while she was filming America’s Got Talent.

“He is the kindest, sweetest, most caring, loving person. I feel so lucky. I don’t know the last time I was this happy in my life,” Klum told People when they finally announced their romance. “He is absolutely wonderful. Maybe it is because he is German and we understand each other in a different way. But so far so good.”

This is the third marriage for the model, as she was previously wed to celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002, and singer Seal from 2005 to 2014, with whom she shares sons Henry, 14, Johan, 12, and daughter Lou, nine.

Klum has daughter Leni, 15, from a relationship with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.

Kaulitz was previously married to Ria Sommerfeld from 2015 to 2018.

Gabrielle Union’s new baby fashion line is inspired by her five-month-old daughter Kaavia.

The She’s All That star will release the Kaavi James by Gabrielle Union capsule collection exclusively through New York & Company on Monday (06May19).

Speaking to WWD, the actress explained that the latest project felt like a “natural progression” and a reflection of where she is in her life right now.

“My collection is inspired by my daughter, Kaavia,” she confessed. “I wanted to create a baby collection because it was a natural progression where I am in my life now, and it has always been important to me to make sure that the collections that I design reflect a part of me and are true to what I think many women can relate to.”

The line features fleecy pants and coveralls, cotton-printed dresses, T-shirts and onesies available in sizes ranging between 0 to 24 months. There is also a sweater set that features Kaavi’s dog, Tre.

The 46-year-old went on to reflect on the similarities between the new line and her existing womenswear range, and shared that both projects were created to offer clothes that are stylish, affordable and accessible to everyone.

“My women’s wear clothing objective has always been to empower women and now I’m thinking about those exact same women with babies that are doing it all and want to dress their children in affordable, comfortable clothes,” the America’s Got Talent judge stated. “I wanted to create pieces that are all-inclusive – that both girls and boys could wear – and that were fun.”
