Nicki Minaj is looking to inspire women to embrace their curves with her sexy new Fendi line.

The rapper recently joined forces with bosses at the Italian label for the collection, and accordingly, made sure to include pieces that celebrate women of all shapes and sizes.

“I want to make clothes that make girls with my body look sexy,” she told Elle magazine. “We’re in a new time, where you don’t have to feel bad if you’re not the tiniest you’ve ever been.”

The Anaconda hitmaker also wants women to be less harsh on themselves when it comes to weight gain.

“What I want (to tell) girls is not necessarily, ‘Go and gain weight and have a big booty,’ but ‘If you do have curves, be proud of it, flaunt it – love the skin you’re in.’ As cliched as that sounds, I’ve been really trying to teach myself that. ‘This is who I am; take me or leave me, bye!'” the 36-year-old insisted.

And Minaj hopes to take her fashion venture a step further by one day launching her own clothing line.

“Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes!” she shared when asked if she’d like to have her own collection. “Yeses across the board, okay? I’ve been really strategic and picky on purpose, turning some things down and waiting for the right opportunities. Once people see that you have selling power and you are able to impact a brand in such a positive way, then I think it’s only a matter of time.

“The Fendi collection alone made me feel like I would love to continue doing this – getting to that boss status. That’s where I would like to take fashion, for sure.”

Nicki Minaj has reportedly recruited a brand new hairstylist following the underwhelming response to her red carpet look at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The Anaconda hitmaker turned heads at last week’s (20Aug18) New York City prizegiving by showing off her curves in a cream bodysuit and sheer dress ensemble, from Virgil Abloh’s Off-White label.

She completed her outfit by keeping her cosmetics relatively simple and donning a long black wig, which was parted into two low ponytails by her longtime hair guru Kim Kimble.

Fans were split over her VMAs appearance and took to social media to air out their thoughts, while Tokyo Stylez, the hairstylist for Nicki’s rap rival Cardi B, also criticised her locks, branding them “thin a** ponytails”.

Earlier this week (begs27Aug18), Minaj unveiled a multi-coloured new do in a video clip on Instagram, and credited Dionte Gray, better known as Arrogant Tae, with her playful image.

“Colorful Hair Don’t Care,” she captioned the clip. “Thank you for making my #BarbieDreams come true lil baby @arrogant_tae123 Welcome him to the Kingdom y’all… (sic)”.

There was no mention of Kimble’s involvement, and reports suggest she and Minaj have since unfollowed one another on social media.

Tae, who also recently worked with singer SZA, has further fuelled speculation the split from Kimble is permanent after sharing the same video and gushing about his new client on his own Instagram page.

“This is so unreal , I’m sooooo happyyy! My life is completed (sic),” he wrote, prompting Minaj to declare him “the best”.

“Your humble spirit is what I live for,” she remarked. “Thank you for that. It goes such a long way. Even tho (sic) you know you’re the best, you’ve shown so much grace. I can’t wait for them (fans) to see what we have in store.”

Nicki also thanked her fans for bringing Tae’s talents to her attention, adding on Twitter, “Yall been askin me to hit Tae up 4 a long time. I guess y’all were on to something or whatever (sic).”

The response from her followers was clear as they celebrated her reinvigorated new image.

“No disrespect to the other stylists, but this is her best hair look this year!” tweeted one, as another rejoiced, “Tae slayed the f**k outta (killed it) Nicki Minaj hair. this the best her s**t looked her WHOLE career (sic)”.

Tae apparently joins make-up artist Aaliyah Jay as a member of Nicki’s glam squad. Jay is thought to have also been brought in in recent months in place of another longtime collaborator, Sheika Daley.

Nicki Minaj picked out three sexy outfits to wear during her 2018 BET Awards performance.

The rapper took to the stage during the ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (24Jun18) and drove the crowd wild by kicking off her spectacle by performing one of her two comeback singles, Chun-Li.

Her first outfit consisted of a red and black belted coat sparkling with sequins along the trim, which Nicki paired with thigh-high shiny latex boots.

After bringing the stage to life with the help of her dancers, who helped recreate the Japan-inspired music video, the Anaconda hitmaker ditched the jacket to reveal a raunchy PVC minidress.

The neckline plunged towards her midriff and accessories including nude fishnet tights and a diamante chain necklace reading Chun-Li.

Finally, the 35-year-old took the opportunity to make a final outfit change when YG took to the stage to perform Big Bank with fellow rappers 2 Chainz and Big Sean.

Nicki reemerged to join the trio and delivered her verse of the song by sitting on a plastic pink horse while wearing a baby pink belted basque adorned with sparkling silver panels, and accessorised with high-heeled metallic shoe boots.

Another musician to make a statement at the event was Janelle Monae, who rocked the red carpet wearing a statement rainbow coloured dress to pay tribute to Pride 2018.

The 32-year-old, who recently revealed she identifies as pansexual, looked stunning in an emerald green detailed bustier which was jazzed up by a frilled tulle skirt which symbolised Pride’s signature rainbow flag emblem.

The Pynk star gave the eye-catching outfit an androgynous twist by adding a red and black military style cap and had a pink, purple and blue diamante clutch bag draped over her wrist.
