Dua Lipa’s boyfriend Anwar Hadid has been dyeing her hair a new colour every week during lockdown.

The New Rules singer, who has been self-isolating with the model in London, debuted pink hair on social media back in April and has been changing it up ever since, with her showing off an orange and a red hue over the past few months.

In an interview with British Vogue magazine, the 24-year-old shared that Anwar, the brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid, has been heavily involved in the dyeing process.

“I’m with my boyfriend Anwar… Anwar has been dyeing my hair all kinds of colours – pink, orange, red – it has been a different colour every week,” she told the magazine.

For the new issue of the fashion bible, a range of stars including Ricky Martin and Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra sent in pictures depicting their life in lockdown. In Dua and Anwar’s photo, the couple can be seen posing on a sofa in the middle of playing an X-Box game. She is wearing multi-coloured crotchet shorts and a cropped black jumper bearing a white smiley face, while Anwar sports a Metallica T-shirt and sweatpants.

Elsewhere in the interview, Dua shared that they have also been spending time during lockdown learning new recipes.

“Yesterday we made lamb maeloubah – Anwar’s dad sent us the recipe,” she said. “It was fun to cook together, which is lucky because it was a three-hour activity; it’s the most ambitious thing I have ever set out to make.. It’s quite rewarding when it turns out like the picture. Today I’m making a leek stew my mum would cook, which really takes me back to my childhood.”

Valentino is using its fall/winter 2020 campaign to help raise funds for a hospital in Rome.

Italy is among the nations worst hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, with approximately 101,000 active cases and almost 28,000 deaths.

In light of the crisis, Valentino executives and creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli are gearing up to launch the #ValentinoEmpathy initiative, which will feature models including Adut Akech, Anwar Hadid, Christy Turlington, Laetitia Casta, Liu Wen, Naomi Campbell, and Vittoria Ceretti, as well as celebrities like Frances McDormand, Gwyneth Paltrow, Janet Mock, Laura Dern, and Rafferty Law.

The stars have all agreed that their fee, totalling approximately $1 million (£800,000), will be donated to the Lazzaro Spallanzani National Institute for Infectious Diseases in the capital, where a dedicated team is fighting to curb the spread of the virus.

In addition, Piccioli has invited members of the public to take part in the concept.

“The idea is very simple, I will hand-pick and provide you with a full look of the collection and you will ask someone close to you to take a picture of you on a white wall,” the designer wrote in an Instagram post. “Instead of compensation for this project, I am asking you to support me and my company in sustaining Spallanzani Hospital in Rome, the Italian hub fighting Covid-19. I really would like to produce a gesture of love for maison Valentino’s city, I really would like to let Rome know that Valentino friends, not only the brand, are here (sic)!”

It is believed Piccioli will release further details about the initiative in the coming days.

Bella Hadid believes she started her modelling career “way too young” because she wasn’t prepared for the recognition she received.

The 23-year-old grew up a keen equestrian and had dreams of representing the U.S. at the 2016 Olympics in Brazil until she was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, along with her mother Yolanda and brother Anwar, in 2012. Accordingly, she decided to follow in the footsteps of her sister Gigi and dropped out of school to pursue a modelling career, landing her first professional job at the age of 16.

In a candid new interview with LOVE magazine, Bella admitted she didn’t have a great deal of confidence in her appearance at that age and would often hate seeing photos of herself and feel “mortified” when brands wanted to work with her.

“In my opinion, I started modelling way too young,” she shared. “I was still growing, and my confidence wasn’t fully matured. I didn’t love myself or didn’t necessarily think I was worthy of all of the recognition I was getting.”

However, Bella has since developed a strong work ethic and is always determined to give her all during a job.

“Being a model is about being a team, working together and being creative,” the brunette beauty continued. “If I don’t go into a shoot every day and leave being incredibly proud of the work we made, then it doesn’t seem like a successful shoot to me.”

Bella, who has posed for fashion campaigns for brands such as Moschino, Versace, and DKNY, also insisted that models are not the most important person on the set of a photoshoot, even though they are the subject.

“One thing is always the same: everyone is equally important on set. Everyone is there for the same reason, to work hard and make art,” she stated.

Pete Davidson has been tapped to appear in Alexander Wang’s latest marketing imagery.

The Saturday Night Live star walked the runway during the fashion designer’s spring 2020 show held at the Rockefeller Center plaza in New York City last May, where he joined the likes of professional models including Kendall Jenner, Binx Walton, and his rumoured girlfriend Kaia Gerber.

Now, Wang has teamed with Davidson once again, this time on a set of photos posted on Instagram. The picture shows the 26-year-old posing in two-tone jeans, a white tank top, and a black leather jacket while holding up a small motorcycle.

“Pete pulled up ’cause we signed the NDA,” a brand representative wrote in the caption, referencing reports circulating last month that Davidson makes fans sign a $1 million (£773,500) non-disclosure agreement before they’re welcomed into his shows.

It remains unclear whether the comedian’s photos are part of a wider campaign for the Alexander Wang brand or if they will only be shared on social media.

Meanwhile, Davidson has also taken part in a Q&A video with Wang for the label’s YouTube channel. When asked about his current state of mind, he explained that he found participating in a fashion photoshoot to be rather hilarious.

“I think it’s pretty funny that I’m doing this, that I’m a super-duper model,” said Davidson. “Anwar Hadid was unavailable, Jaden Smith was also not available, and Adam Devine is booked. So, Pete is here.”

Anwar Hadid sews his own clothes to keep his personal style unique to him.

The 20-year-old, who is the face of Valentino’s new Born in Roma Uomo fragrance, revealed he wanted to be a designer before he became a model and still puts his skills into practice to keep his style unique.

“I sew my own clothes. I’ve always loved all different types,” Anwar told People magazine. “I like to express myself in whatever I feel suits my energy at that point. I just kind of do whatever makes me happy. Everyone is allowed to express themselves freely.

“I learned a lot about design through modelling. I wanted to be a designer in 2014 before I wrote music or modelled or anything like that. I have a project coming out in the next couple of months with shirts, which is exciting.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Anwar revealed the advice he got from his big sisters, models Gigi and Bella, when he started out in the industry.

“Try to be yourself and be confident and comfortable. Also, wear the clothes and don’t let them wear you. For modelling, you’re an extension of someone else’s creation and vision. You have to honour that,” he explained.

While his career begins to skyrocket, Anwar makes sure he takes time out to relax.

“I use essential oils. I put some in my hand (and smell it) or in a diffuser. That’s something I like to do every day. I’m really drawn to eucalyptus and lavender,” he said, before adding that he deals with fame by surrounding himself with family and friends.

“Honestly, I feel like I’m still the same person that I’ve been since I was young,” he insisted.

Dua Lipa: ‘My mum never let me pluck my eyebrows’

Dua Lipa’s mother refused to let the singer pluck her eyebrows while growing up.

The Grammy-winning singer is well-known for her flawless skin, sleek bob and stylish red carpet looks, but it’s her perfect eyebrows that are coveted by her fans and followers on social media.

In a new interview with Elle.com, the 24-year-old confessed that it was her mother who prevented her from going anywhere near her bushy brows.

“They come from my dad’s side of the family, plus my mum never let me pluck them – even when they were growing to my eyelids!” Dua laughed, as she revealed that when she looks in the mirror, she sees “good brows”.

The British singer, who is currently dating model Anwar Hadid, blames her hectic schedule on being an early riser, and starts the day with a shower, then applies a cream cleanser, vitamin-B serum, hydrating cream and SPF to her face.

“I never used to be into skincare but now I travel, I have to,” Dua shared.

The Be The One hitmaker isn’t a fan of make-up and tries to avoid wearing it if she can.

“I try not to wear make-up on days I don’t have to, but if I do, it takes 15 minutes max. I stick to foundation or concealer, mascara, eyeshadow and bronzer and then I’m out the door,” she said of her simple routine.

At the end of the day, Dua uses Pai Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil, $45 (£36), to remove her make-up, followed by a probiotic serum and face cream.

The singer also swears by natural beauty products from Credo and indulges in facials at London clinic Pfeffer Sal, with prices starting at $163 (£130).

Kendall Jenner showed off a new blonde look at Burberry’s London Fashion Week presentation on Monday.

The 23-year-old, who regularly takes breaks from the catwalk, skipped New York Fashion Week earlier this month and made her spring 2020 debut with a surprise appearance at Riccardo Tisci’s presentation, held at the Troubadour White City Theatre.

The reality TV star opened the show wearing a cream jacket emblazoned with a “Burberry England” logo and black skirt with fringed hemline, but it was her new bleached blonde locks that caught attention.

Kendall also showed off her new, lighter tresses, which were dyed by celebrity hairstylist Guido Palau, by filming a short Instagram Stories video in her car and posting a picture of her with Tisci and fellow Burberry models Gigi and Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Agyness Deyn backstage at the show. She was also seen rocking her new look at a Tyler, the Creator gig later that night.

The model, who is known for her signature dark hair, has gone light before – she previously dyed her hair platinum blonde to walk the runway for Balmain’s Paris Fashion Week show in March 2016.

Kendall’s inclusion in the Burberry spectacle comes shortly after she admitted to Vogue that she missed strutting her stuff on the runways while perched front row during New York Fashion Week.

“Today I was missing it. I was watching the girls and I was like, ‘Damn, I kind of want to walk,'” she said, before teasing that she would be returning soon.

Celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa, Anwar Hadid, and FKA Twigs looked on as models presented Tisci’s Evolution collection, inspired by the Victorian era in which Burberry was founded. The line featured fitted waists, elaborate sleeves and scarves, streetwear, and a new take on the classic trench coat.

Model-turned-actress Deyn, who returned to the runway for the first time since 2015, wore the classic beige trench adorned with jewelled embellishments, an oversized striped shirt, and pale pink tailored trousers, while Shayk sported pale purple trousers, a blouse, and a large printed silk scarf.

Marc Jacobs has dished up a joyful yet nostalgic collection for spring/summer 2020.

The designer unveiled his latest line at the Park Avenue Armory as part of New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, with celebrity guests including Zendaya, Law Roach, Debi Mazar, Anwar Hadid, Dua Lipa, and Migos’ Offset and Quavo.

Regarding the inspiration behind the spectacle, Jacobs commented that he wanted to reflect on the past whilst also presenting an optimistic view of the future.

“This show is a celebration of life, joy, equality, individuality, optimism, happiness, indulgence, dreams and a future unwritten as we continue to learn from our past and the history of fashion,” he shared in the show notes, before going on to refer to major stars who passed away in the recent years who have influenced him. “From the genius of Karl (Lagerfeld), the cheerful and bright-eyed positivity of Doris Day, the incomparable timeless style of Lee Radziwill and the effortless coolness of Anita Pallenberg that endures a half-century later… As with closely guarded tradition, tonight is our reminder of the joy in dressing up, our unadulterated love of fashion and embracing grand gestures of unbridled expressions, reactions, ideas, and possibilities.”

After a diverse set of models flooded the venue while classic song Dream a Little Dream of Me played in the background, they then each took to the runway in the centre of the room, and the show opened with a yellow suit with matching hat, purple scarf, and lavender suede boots.

Jacobs proceeded to take fashionistas through a journey of fashion trends extending back through several decades, with highlights including a ’60s-inspired burnt orange dress with white floral appliques attached, ice-blue satin disco trousers, a green tweed suit paired with extravagant butterfly-shaped glasses, gold lame gowns, star-studded suede coats, floral print peasant-style dresses, and 1940s-influenced pinstripe suits.

Gigi Hadid walked the runway in a pale blue dress barefoot, her sister Bella Hadid sported a pink knit top, lilac jeans, and a grey hat, while Kaia Gerber made a splash in a flowing floral dress with dramatic sleeves.

And Jacobs also appeared to reference the costumes in new HBO series Euphoria, especially in relation to neon brights and shiny tights, as well as the metallic eyeshadow Pat McGrath swiped on many of the models’ lids.

Brock Collection and Badgley Mischka also presented on the final day of New York Fashion Week.

Anwar Hadid has named his father as his main source of style inspiration.

The 20-year-old counts models Gigi and Bella Hadid as his big sisters, and their mother is former model and star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Yolanda Hadid.

But Anwar confessed in an interview with Into The Gloss that it is his real estate developer father, Mohamed Hadid, who is his real fashion icon.

“He’s my style inspiration – not because our styles are similar, but because he’s always fresh. He’s put together every morning, almost like he wakes up like that – shaved face, smells good, looks clean. It seems effortless, but it can’t be, because for me it’s impossible,” he shared.

The model also explained that he gets agitated during photoshoots as his skin always breaks out after having heavy make-up on his face.

“I’ll ask literally anyone for skin tips. My biggest issue is that I get my make-up done for shoots, and I always break out from that. After a shoot, I’m running home to wash my face. I’d like to figure out what it is, but I guess some things just make my skin irritated,” Anwar stated.

The youngest Hadid sibling, who recently began dating British singer Dua Lipa, has a low maintenance skincare regime. Yet, even he has had one very memorable beauty fail.

“I’m not particular about my hair, but the one thing I wouldn’t do again was shave it all off. I did it with a disposable BIC razor, and I was really bald. It looked so ugly, but at least now I know,” he laughed.

Adut Akech is “beyond thrilled” to be starring in her first-ever fragrance campaign.

The model, who was born in South Sudan and raised in Adelaide, Australia, made her runway debut for Saint Laurent’s spring/summer 2017 show in September 2016 and has since gone on to walk for the likes of Chanel, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, and Kenzo.

She has now been tapped to be the face of Valentino’s new fragrance, Born in Roma, alongside Anwar Hadid, and she told her followers on Instagram that she was very excited about the gig.

“I am so beyond thrilled and overjoyed to be sharing my first ever fragrance campaign for @maisonvalentino #BORNINROMA with @anwarhadid,” she wrote in the caption. “These BEAUTIFUL images shot for the campaign by the one and only @inezandvinoodh.”

The 19-year-old shared some of the campaign imagery, which was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin under the creative direction of Pierpaolo Piccioli and shows her wearing a strapless pink gown in various locations in Rome, Italy.

Fellow model Naomi Campbell gave her support by posting heart emojis in the comments, while Anwar’s sister Gigi Hadid uploaded a campaign photo, which showed Adut resting her head on her brother’s shoulder, on her Instagram Stories and wrote “LOVE!!!!!”

The Instagram account for the Italian fashion house shared footage of the video campaign as well as images of the bottles, with the women’s fragrance, which is available in stories now, appearing in a transparent bottle with pink liquid, and the men’s scent, which will reach stores in October, to be contained in an all-black bottle.

Valentino teamed up with L’Oreal to host the Born in Roma ball in Paris last week to celebrate the launch of the new fragrance with Adut and 20-year-old Anwar.
