Ashley Graham finds her Pretty Big Deal podcast “incredibly liberating” because she has complete control over it.

The model launched the podcast, in which she has candid conversations with celebrity guests, in October 2018, and she dropped the second season, which has now expanded to become weekly episodes, in November.

In an interview with Time, the curvy star, who is currently pregnant with her first child, said the podcast was more liberating than modelling because she can make sure she is 100 per cent herself.

“With this podcast, I have full control. I own the narrative, and I think that there’s something incredibly liberating about that,” she shared. “When it comes to fashion, I’m literally giving up my body and face to a company or to a magazine, who could edit me and in Pretty Big Deal, I’m unedited.”

The 32-year-old explained that it was important to her to show her authentic self and open up about personal issues on the podcast, as well as to make her guests feel comfortable so they’re more likely to have an honest conversation.

“It’s important to me to show up to the job the way I am as a person; I don’t have a persona, I don’t change who I am and I want people to feel comfortable,” Ashley stated. “I ask the questions that you at home want to know, I ask the questions that are to the point.

“I put myself on the line, I talk about feeling insecure about my body and my ups and downs with food and men, family, it runs the gamut and I think that people know when they’re coming down and sitting on my couch, it’s about truth and honesty.”

So far this season, Ashley has spoken to the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Arianna Huffington. She has pre-recorded episodes to cover her maternity leave after she gives birth to her son in January.

will.i.am ditched his penchant for bingeing on processed foods and surviving on only four hours of sleep a night after discovering it was turning his insides “toxic”.

The Black Eyed Peas frontman admits his hectic work schedule left him with little time to really think about how he was treating his body, until he realised his weight had ballooned to 210 pounds (95 kilograms).

“I was eating bad, sleeping bad. No regiment,” he told Arianna Huffington on her Thrive Global podcast. “I was going to sleep around five in the morning… I would argue with people like, ‘All I need is like two hours a day.’ Like boom, a catnap and… I’m just ready to go.”

His lack of proper rest and a healthy diet led the musician and mentor on The Voice U.K. to develop a series of health issues.

“I was creating different types of disorders,” he said. “And starting with my high blood pressure and my cholesterol… I had acid reflux, nasal drip… When you have so much acid in you that means your body is fighting off inflammation and mucus and that is a toxic environment that leads to other diseases.”

A timely trip to the doctor’s office scared him into overhauling his lifestyle: “I went to my doctor and he said, ‘Hey. Your high blood pressure is like you’re 60. And your cholesterol. Where heart disease and diabetes runs in your family, you should take control of that,'” he recalled.

will.i.am took immediate action and adopted a vegan diet more than a year ago, when he also decided to cut out sugar and processed foods, and he quickly shed 20 pounds (nine kilograms) from his frame.

“I switched my regimen, went plant-based and it changed my life. I lost 20 pounds,” the rapper shared. “My cholesterol came down; my high blood pressure came down. My stress levels came down naturally. I have more energy. My sleep regimen is awesome.”

The 43 year old is now urging fans to reconsider eating meat too.

“It (going vegan) changed my life, and I would encourage everybody to have a plant-based regimen,” will.i.am explained. “You don’t need the meat, you don’t need to have decaying flesh in your body. The more I think about it I was like, ‘Ew.’ I was just, I had death in me. Decayed flesh and crazy chemicals I can’t pronounce. You wouldn’t put that s**t in your car.”

Rachel Zoe has a “laundry list” of women who inspire her on a daily basis, including Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Arianna Huffington.

The stylist-turned-designer showed off her latest collection at a star-studded fashion event on Monday (05Feb18), with Paris Hilton, Kris Jenner and Whitney Port taking in the new season trends at The Jeremy Hotel in West Hollywood.

The glam rock-infused line showed off strong yet sexy looks, with fringed dresses working well next to sharply tailored suits.

“I may sound redundant, but honestly I’m always inspired by the incredibly strong, powerful women in my life who are doing wonderful things,” Rachel commented to The Hollywood Reporter. “Everyone from Oprah (Winfrey) to Reese (Witherspoon) to Arianna Huffington. I’ve got a laundry list of women who inspire me to keep going. Every day, in my mind, we celebrate them. But when I look what’s happening in the world right now, I think, ‘Okay, this is such a moment for all of us.’

“When I launched my collection seven years ago, they said, ‘What do you want to be known for?’ And I said, ‘I want to be able to make a woman feel sexy and glamorous in a suit and a tuxedo,’ because I felt like there just weren’t enough of them.”

Matthew McConaughey’s model wife Camila Alves, designer Monique Lhuillier and Molly Sims were also in attendance.

And bride-to-be Paris, who recently announced her engagement to The Leftovers actor Chris Zylka, was no doubt taking note of the six wedding dresses that closed the show.

“I’m taking baby steps with bridal,” Rachel said of her second bridal collection. “I love when women get married in my clothes or wear them to the wedding. I just love being a part of that moment.”
