Penelope Cruz has been unveiled as the face of a stunning campaign showcasing new pieces from Atelier Swarovski.

The Spanish actress is featured in the glamorous ads wearing the jewels from the brand’s MoonSun line, which she pairs with an elegant black, strapless gown. The 44 year old poses with necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and hairpieces.

“I am proud of my partnership with Atelier Swarovski, and I feel lucky to be in a position where I can to help to shine a light on conscious luxury and create products that have a positive impact,” Cruz said in a statement.

The beauty also shared her excitement about collaborating with photographer’s Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

“It was so wonderful working with Mert & Marcus on this campaign,” she gushed. “Like my Atelier Swarovski collections, they make me feel as well as look beautiful.”

Cruz first teamed up with bosses at the luxury accessories label last May (18) for a collection she named Luna, after her daughter with husband Javier Bardem.

“We were delighted to collaborate with the inspirational Mert & Marcus to capture Penelope Cruz for our latest Atelier Swarovski jewellery campaign,” Swarovski creative director Nadja Swarovski said in a press release. “It is our pleasure to have Penelope, who has brought her incredible creative energy to design these collections herself, as our global brand ambassador, promoting our shared vision of conscious luxury – truly beautiful products with compassion and sustainability at their heart.”

Meanwhile, in a new interview with W magazine, Cruz revealed how motherhood has changed her style.

“Since I have kids, my style has gotten more practical,” she told the publication. “I do like fashion but I also have to think about what works in a practical way. I used to wear heels every day, and now it’s only if I have an event.”

Elsa Hosk has reflected on the moment she learned she’d be wearing the coveted Fantasy Bra at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

The expensive undergarment is the highlight of the annual lingerie extravaganza, and models including Gisele Bundchen, Heidi Klum, and Claudia Schiffer have all previously been given the honour of wearing it.

This year, Elsa was chosen to wear the bejewelled Dream Angels Fantasy Bra, and Victoria’s Secret bosses organised an elaborate set-up in order to reveal the exciting news.

“Well, it was a fake shoot that Victoria’s Secret set up. They basically faked the shoot so they could interrupt it and bring out the bra to surprise me,” the Swedish model recalled to PopSugar U.K. “While I was in the middle of the shoot, they told me, ‘Someone’s here to see you.’ Then, someone came out with a big tray with a box on it, and I just kept thinking, ‘What is going on?’ Because in my mind, I didn’t think I was going to get the bra – I thought, ‘It’s going to someone else.'”

Elsa mistakenly believed that the box contained a cake in celebration of her 30th birthday, which she celebrated on 7 November (18). However, when she realised it was the $1 million bra, she “freaked out”.

“I fell to the floor just shaking and screaming, ‘Oh my God!’ It was all so crazy, and I was so excited,” she laughed.

The piece was designed exclusively for the brand by Atelier Swarovski using over 2,000 diamonds and responsibly sourced topaz. Victoria’s Secret is also offering customers the chance to purchase a similar version of the Fantasy Bra for $250 (£194) at select stores from 29 November.

The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion show took place in New York City on 8 November but is airing in the U.S. on the ABC network on 2 December.

Jourdan Dunn was among the guests at a party celebrating a decade of Atelier Swarovski.

The supermodel looked stunning in a high-necked, embellished fringed dress by Peter Pilotto which she paired with nude sandals, and styled her hair in a tousled bob while rocking a natural, dewy make-up look.

Jourdan, who is a global ambassador for Swarovski, later posted a photo from the party to her Instagram account, which showed the 27-year-old posing with Nadja Swarovski and British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful.

“Party on a Monday night? I’ll take that!” she wrote in the caption. “Thanks to @nadja.swarovski for bringing together some of the best designers and some of my favourite people #AtelierSwarovski.”

The event took place in London on Monday night (19Mar18) and was also attended by human rights advocate Bianca Jagger and Scottish designer Christopher Kane.

Nadja, founder of Atelier Swarovski and great-great-granddaughter of Swarovski founder Daniel Swarovski, also shared Jourdan’s image to her own Instagram account, and was full of thanks to all those that came to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the brand, which has previously collaborated with fashion moguls including Karl Lagerfeld and Giles Deacon.

“Thank you to all our collaborators and friends who came to @phillips last night to celebrate ten years of #AtelierSwarovski,” she wrote. “It was wonderful to have so much inspiration and creativity in one room.”

She also gave a special mention to author Bronwyn Cosgrave, who edited Brilliant: The Story of Atelier Swarovski, a book launched to coincide with the milestone, and set designer Simon Costin, who created a special exhibition in honour of the brand.
