Gwyneth Paltrow is taking online fitness classes to help her keep in shape during the coronavirus lockdown.

The Iron Man actress has always been dedicated to wellness and keeping fit, so she made sure she didn’t let her commitment to exercise slip during the self-isolation period.

“I try to do exercises every day for my back and neck because of all the Zoom calls I’m on,” she told Shape magazine, before sharing that she goes for strolls with husband Brad Falchuk too: “My husband, Brad, and I take a walk at least three or four times a week.”

Paltrow has also been participating in her longtime trainer Tracy Anderson’s virtual workout classes, as well as a range of other fitness sessions.

“I’ve been doing a lot of online classes: Tracy Anderson, the Class by Taryn Toomey, Bulldog Yoga, CorePower Yoga,” the star shared.

Elsewhere in the chat, Paltrow discussed how she has grown to appreciate the downtime, as she feels calmer and is able to spend more quality time with her family.

“Now I feel different, letting my body go to sleep and wake up in its natural rhythm, having my kids around all the time, eating meals together, and having meaningful conversations,” the mother-of-two said. “We linger at the table; our dinners are an hour and a half long. My heart feels fuller, and my mind feels calmer in that respect.

“I had not realised how much the normal pace of life was overburdening our bodies, our minds, and our nervous systems. As we have been forced into the confines of our own homes, that has brought up a lot of emotional distress for some, and for others, it has been very peaceful. In my case, I have experienced both.”

Gwyneth Paltrow has dropped a rather risque holiday commercial for her lifestyle brand Goop.

In the 90-second advertisement titled The Joy of Getting Ready, the actress/entrepreneur is seen modelling the latest items from her G. Label fashion collection as she prepares for the season’s holiday parties at home.

“First, put on a record to set the mood. Oh, yeah,” the narrator says, as the camera cuts to Gwyneth making two martinis in her kitchen: “Do everything in slow motion. Make this feeling last.

“Find your favourite look or 11 of them. Look fabulous in each one. And get super high… in your heels, of course.”

Later on, Gwyneth is shown whipping up two martinis in the kitchen before carrying them to her living room, with the voiceover commenting, “Someone’s double fisting and dammit, she’s earned it.”

The 47-year-old, who is married to TV producer Brad Falchuk, is then featured filling stockings above the fireplace, before deciding to keep one naughty gift to herself.

“Do something for others, but don’t forget about number one…,” advises the narrator, before confirming, “Yes, that is a vibrator”, as Gwyneth cheekily smirks and walks away with the sex toy.

The new Goop commercial isn’t the first time the Oscar winner has candidly shared sex tips with fans. She previously promoted the sale of a $495 (£380) vibrator for “vaginal toning” on her website, as well as the use of jade eggs, which are inserted into the vagina for sexual health – a practice doctors have strongly advised against.

Gwyneth Paltrow may be taking her lifestyle brand Goop to TV as part of a new deal with Netflix.

The actress and entrepreneur is in early talks with bosses at the streaming service to develop a new series that incorporates elements of the company’s website, which offers insights on fashion, beauty, wellness, and decor in a small screen production.

Though the 46 year old has yet to comment on the potential venture, she expressed interest in a Goop TV show in September (18).

“What we are thinking of doing is a TV show with the working title The Radical Wellness Show,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I would be going into the field and talking to any number of doctors, scientists, civilians, people in crisis in Flint, Michigan, where there is something to uncover and confront about wellness… but we’re just in the brainstorming phase.”

The residents of Flint are battling a water crisis after the city’s supply was poisoned.

Paltrow also hinted about a TV series during Wall Street Journal’s D.Live tech panel last week (ends16Nov18).

The Oscar winner launched Goop as a newsletter in London in 2008 and later expanded her idea to a lifestyle website offering up fashion tips, beauty advice and wellbeing know-how. Paltrow frequently showcases clothing options for her readers and highlights treatments and products available from beauty brands.

She has also offered her own clothing pieces on the platform as part of G. Label, which includes professional attire

Paltrow has been busy over the past few months – in addition to juggling her business ventures, she is also a newlywed. The mother of two married TV producer Brad Falchuk in a star-studded Hamptons, New York ceremony in September.
