Chris Hemsworth will undergo an “insanely physical” makeover for his next movie, a Hulk Hogan biopic.
No stranger to hitting the gym hard for his role as Thor in Marvel’s superhero flicks, Chris is planning to push his fitness even further when he stars as the famous wrestler, real name Terry Bollea.
“This movie is going to be a really fun project,” he excitedly told Total Film. “As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor. There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude.
“I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I’m really looking forward to doing.”
His hair will also get a Hulk makeover, with the 36-year-old star adding he’ll have to dye it blonde and go a little bald, plus add a moustache to complete his trademark look.
Joker filmmaker Todd Phillips is directing the movie, which will chart Hulk’s rise to the top of the wrestling world in the ‘80s. The 66-year-old former sportsman will serve as an executive producer.
Bradley Cooper, who starred in Todd’s hit comedy The Hangover, is one of the new movie’s producers.

Jonah Hill has been “humbled” to learn he has surpassed Samuel L. Jackson’s onscreen cursing record.
The Superbad actor took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a screenshot of an article on The Wrap with the headline, “Jonah Hill Passes Samuel L Jackson With Most F**king Swear Words on Film.”
In the accompanying caption, Jonah celebrated the news by thanking his The Wolf of Wall Street director Martin Scorsese for helping him to achieve the record.
“So many people to thank. @martinscorsese_ thanks for pushing me over the edge. And of course the great @samuelljackson. Humbled,” he wrote, adding: “(Also ‘new report’? Lol what team of scientists cracked this one?). Lots of love.”
According to the new Profanity on Film report from Buzz Bingo, Hill has collectively said the most swear words in all the movies he’s appeared in, with a total of 376 profanities. He was followed by his The Wolf of Wall Street co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in the rankings, who has 361 curse words recorded, and Jackson, who had 301.
Jackson has become well known for using curse words in films, especially in flicks like Jackie Brown and Snakes on a Plane.
Other celebrities on the list included Adam Sandler, Al Pacino, Denzel Washington, Billy Bob Thornton, Seth Rogen, Bradley Cooper, and Danny McBride.
Responding to Hill’s Instagram post, his friend and frequent collaborator Rogen simply commented, “The dream.”
And in response, the 36-year-old wrote: “We should make a last dance (2020 series about Michael Jordan’s basketball career) style doc of me exhausted getting to the final f**k. ‘I can’t do it anymore!'”
Buzz Bingo’s analysts studied over 3,500 movie scripts for their report.

Robert Pattinson has been declared as the world’s “most beautiful” man by a top plastic surgeon.
Dr. Julian De Silva measured the eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw, and facial shape of many male celebrities, using the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, and concluded that the Twilight actor came closest to the Greeks’ idea of perfection.
“The 33-year-old actor was found to be 92.15 per cent accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi – which measures physical perfection,” Dr. De Silva wrote on Instagram. “The list was compiled using the latest computerised mapping techniques. Robert Pattinson was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection.
“The Golden Ratio was a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks in an attempt to measure beauty… The premise behind this is that the closer the ratios of a face or body are to the number 1.618 (Phi), the more beautiful they become.”
Pattinson’s chin, eye position, and nose length/width came the closest to perfection, while his lips scored the lowest percentage.
Justice League star Henry Cavill came in second on Dr. De Silva’s most beautiful list with 91.64 per cent, followed by Bradley Cooper in third with 91.08 per cent, Brad Pitt in fourth with 90.51 per cent, and George Clooney in fifth with 89.91 per cent.
Clooney had previously topped the list but had dropped down to fifth as “the effect of ageing on the 58-year-old had resulted in a loss of volume in the face,” Dr. De Silva explained.
Retired sports star David Beckham came in seventh place, although he had a near-perfect ratio in the size of his nose and his lips.
Back in October, Dr. De Silva declared Bella Hadid the world’s most beautiful woman, followed by Beyonce and Amber Heard.

Irina Shayk has opened up about her split from longtime boyfriend Bradley Cooper for the first time.
The model began dating the A Star is Born actor and director back in 2015, and the couple welcomed daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper in March 2017 before splitting last year.
They are both notoriously private about their relationships, but the catwalk beauty has now candidly shared details about her life without the Oscar nominee in a new interview with British Vogue.
“I think in all good relationships you bring your best and your worst – it’s just the nature of a human being,” the 34-year-old explained. “Two great people don’t have to make a good couple.”
“I think we’ve been very lucky to experience what we had with each other,” Irina added. “Life without B is new ground.”
The couple co-parent their toddler daughter, and while she loves being a mother, she admitted it was hard doing it alone while juggling her busy career.
“It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider. Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart,'” she said.
Irina also confessed that her strong personality and “coldness” can put men off.
“I have a strong personality and I definitely know what I want, and I think some men are scared of that,” she shared. ‘If somebody’s out of my life, they’re out of my life and I really cut all the ties, you know? I think some people are really scared of this coldness. I also think not many people know that underneath this there’s a nice, sweet person who cries in interviews.”

Netflix has acquired Bradley Cooper’s upcoming Leonard Bernstein biopic.
Last July, The Hangover star announced he was planning to follow up his Oscar-nominated directorial debut A Star Is Born with a film about the famed composer and conductor for studio executives at Paramount.
However, on Tuesday, bosses at streaming service Netflix announced that they had acquired all rights to the untitled project.
“Bradley’s directorial debut was nothing short of brilliant and he quickly cemented himself as a serious filmmaker,” Netflix’s Scott Stuber told Deadline. “His strong passion and clear vision for bringing to life the relationship between the iconic composer Leonard Bernstein and his wife Felicia Montealegre promises to do their lives justice as only this renowned filmmaking team can. We are honoured to be working with the Bernsteins to share their family’s story with audiences everywhere.”
Cooper will direct and star in the project, which documents Bernstein’s complex marriage to his wife over the space of 30 years, from a script he co-wrote with Spotlight’s Josh Singer. He will also serve as a producer, along with his producing partner, Joker director Todd Phillips, Steven Spielberg, and Martin Scorsese, who was once set to direct his own Bernstein film, as well as Emma Tillinger Koskoff, who worked with Phillips on Joker and Scorsese on The Irishman.
The actor acquired the exclusive rights to the Bernstein estate, which put an end to a rival project which was set to star Jake Gyllenhaal, and has been working with the composer’s children Jamie, Alexander, and Nina, for the past two years. Production is expected to begin early next year.
Bernstein, who was the longtime music director of the New York Philharmonic, is best known for composing the music to stage musicals On the Town and West Side Story and the movie On the Waterfront. He died in 1990 at the age of 72.

Lady Gaga took a long time to shed her character from A Star Is Born.
Last year, the popstar played rising singer Ally alongside Bradley Cooper in the musical drama, which earned her a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey for Elle magazine, Gaga admitted she couldn’t immediately let go of Ally because the character’s career trajectory reflected her own and brought up pain from her past.
“Well, actually, the character of Ally stayed with me for a long time. I had to relive a lot of my career doing that role,” she explained. “I don’t know how you feel when you’ve acted, but for me, I don’t view it as filming a movie. I film it as living the character, and it’s a moment in my life, so I relived it all again, and it took a long time for it to go away.”
Although she lost out to The Favourite’s Olivia Colman for the Best Actress prize, the 33-year-old didn’t go home empty-handed, as she won the Best Original Song for Shallow. However, looking at the prestigious statuette reminded her of that pain.
“When I won the Oscar for Shallow, I looked at it, and a reporter asked me, ‘When you look at that Oscar, what do you see?’ And I said, ‘I see a lot of pain.’ And I wasn’t lying in that moment,” Gaga continued. “I have been traumatised in a variety of ways by my career over the years from many different things, but I survived, and I’ve kept going. And when I looked at that Oscar, I saw pain.”
Gaga will follow up on her award-winning role with Ridley Scott’s drama about the assassination of Maurizio Gucci, the grandson of Guccio Gucci, who founded the Italian fashion house. She will play Maurizio’s ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, who hired a hitman to shoot and kill him on the steps of his office in 1995.

A maid from The Beverly Hilton hotel is auctioning off the dress Lady Gaga wore to the 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
The Bad Romance singer made a splash when she stepped out in the custom-made periwinkle Valentino gown at the ceremony in January, where she scooped the Best Original Song – Motion Picture prize for Shallow – her duet with Bradley Cooper from the hit movie A Star Is Born.
However, an employee from The Beverly Hilton named Sara Corea has now claimed that she found the dress on 8 January and handed it into the lost and found department at the luxury venue, and as no one collected the couture piece, she was given the garment to keep in September.
She has now put the dress up for auction via Nate D. Sanders Auctions, with the bidding opening at $8,000 (£6,230). The auction is currently scheduled to take place on 31 October, with the dress presented with a letter from Corea explaining how the item came into her possession.
“I turned in the dress to the lost and found on the 8th of January 2019,” she wrote in the note. “After the time legally held by lost and found, they gave it to me as a gift from her and today I want to auction the dress.”
Yet, according to TMZ.com, there’s a chance the auction may not go ahead as the gown didn’t actually belong to Gaga, 33, but was loaned to her by Valentino for the event.
A source has told reporters at the website that executives at the Italian label have alleged the dress was stolen and are planning to report the theft.
On the evening of the Golden Globes, Gaga teamed her one-of-a-kind dress with $5 million (£3.9 million) worth of Tiffany & Co. diamonds and complemented the look by dyeing her platinum blonde hair a matching shade of blue.

Irina Shayk believes women get wiser and more beautiful with age.
The 33-year-old model has opened up about her almost two-decade-long career in a chat with People and insisted her personality is the secret to her youthful appearance and longevity in the fashion industry.
“I think women are like a good wine: better with age, wiser and (make) better decisions in life,” Shayk told the publication. “I think a woman just has to feel she never ages inside. It’s all about personality. It’s all about how you take life in and send the energy out there.
“I’m (nearly) 34 and I’m so lucky to be working.”
And the notoriously private star, who shares two-year-old daughter Lea with ex-boyfriend Bradley Cooper, tries to follow valuable advice from her Russian mother when it comes to her personal life.
“Sometimes different work and personal life things come up and you want to go full-on Russian,” she joked. “My mom said one thing to me that I remember from many years ago… ‘Whatever happens in life, remember you have to be a lady.'”
Shayk recently teamed up with Italian cashmere brand Falconeri to be the face of their new ad campaign, and she confessed that she refuses to work with any brand of fashion house unless she can “fully connect” with them.
“I don’t want to work and be (the) face of the brands that I truly don’t represent from the inside out – I’m really looking for high quality and the message behind (a campaign),” she explained.

Willem Dafoe has joined the likes of Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett in Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley.
The upcoming project, the second movie adaptation of William Lindsay Gresham’s 1946 novel of the same name, is set in a world of carnival hustlers, and tells the story of a con man named Stanton ‘Stan’ Carlisle, portrayed by Cooper, who teams up with psychologist Lilith, to be played by Blanchett, to swindle the rich before she turns the tables on him.
The Oscar nominee has been cast as Clem Hoately, a head barker at a travelling carnival who gives Carlisle a job, according to Variety.
He joins a cast which also includes Toni Collette, who will portray a mentalist named Zeena who mentors Carlisle, and Rooney Mara, who will be playing Carlisle’s love interest, Molly.
Richard Jenkins and Michael Shannon, who previously starred in del Toro’s previous film, the Oscar-winning The Shape of Water, are also reportedly circling the project, while his Hellboy collaborator Ron Perlman is rumoured to have a role.
Del Toro will direct the film for Fox Searchlight from a script he co-wrote with Kim Morgan, with production set to begin at the start of 2020. Nightmare Alley was previously brought to the screen in 1947, with Tyrone Power taking on the role of Carlisle.
Dafoe is enjoying an impressive run of projects of late. He has been receiving critical praise for his performance alongside Robert Pattinson in David Eggers’s The Lighthouse and will soon be seen in Edward Norton’s directorial effort, Motherless Brooklyn, as well as political thriller The Last Thing He Wanted.

Sienna Miller wishes she could remake her old movies and focus instead on the female characters.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the British actress voiced her frustrations about the lack of substance in some of her past roles, including Bradley Cooper’s wife Taya in American Sniper and Mark Ruffalo’s significant other Nancy Schultz in Foxcatcher, and said she wishes the stories could be retold from their point of view.
“In many cases, I still fantasise about going and retelling the entire movie from my character’s perspective,” she said.
Sienna is “most proud of” her role in the upcoming American Woman, which focuses on her character Debra Callahan, a single mother who has to raise her grandson after her daughter goes missing.
And the 37-year-old credits the #MeToo movement in Hollywood for making an impact on the amount of female-driven stories being told on the big screen.
“It’s the kind of film that is being made today, I think, because of a shift in our industry to focus on telling female stories,” she explained. “I wonder whether people would have been interested in looking at that kind of story. Studios are being much more cautious in how they value women, how they treat women.”
And she was impressed with how her gritty character Debra was received by audiences, who grew to love the single mother during the course of the movie, which follows her over 11 years.
“Men who have seen the film are really shocked by this slutty, messy woman and really loved her by the end,” she noted. “Not one of them asked where the father (of her child) is.”
