Camila Cabello swears daily meditation has helped her to combat anxiety.

The Havana singer, who has been candid with her fans about her battle with anxiety, wrote a lengthy Instagram post on Monday in which she shared how practicing meditation every day has helped her to manage her emotions.

“Meditation has changed my life in the last few months. I didn’t share this with you guys at the time because honestly, I was just trying to be okay, but I was experiencing severe anxiety,” she wrote alongside a picture of her meditating while sat cross-legged on an outdoor chair. “It was meditation – it was practicing every single day multiple times a day that has been healing me, and, more than just helping me manage strong emotions like anxiety and stress, it’s making me a better human.”

Camila then encouraged her followers to try taking 10 minutes out of their day to give meditation a whirl using the Calm app or guided sessions on YouTube. She insisted this could aid those dealing with stress and anxiety due to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as to help them feel more empathy and compassion for others during the crisis.

“Close your eyes and sit with your spine upright and feel gravity grounding your body to the earth’s surface and supporting you,” the 23-year-old advised. “Take three deep breaths and then begin to just notice the natural flow of your breath. Being aware of breathing in, breathing out. Following every inhale and exhale with your attention. Once your mind has stilled. Picture every human in the world right now… and say, ‘May you be healthy. May you be safe. May you be free from illness. May you be well.’ Repeat until you really feel it in your heart.”

Camila had been in the middle of filming the new Cinderella movie musical, though production was recently shut down in light of the outbreak.

Production has been halted on the live-action Cinderella, starring Camila Cabello, due to the worsening coronavirus outbreak.

Bosses at Sony have pulled the plug on filming the re-imagining of the classic fairytale, which features a star-studded cast including Billy Porter, Minnie Driver, Missy Elliott, Pierce Brosnan, and James Corden.

According to editors at Deadline, the crew were sent home from the project, which is based at Pinewood Studios near London, for two weeks.

Director Kay Cannon is helming the musical blockbuster, which also stars newcomer Nicholas Galitzine and British comedian Romesh Ranganathan, with Corden’s company Fulwell 73 producing.

Universal also confirmed it has sent home the crew from Jurassic World: Dominion, which was also filming at Pinewood.

“The Pinewood Group is continuing to follow guidance set out by the government, and the studios remain fully operational,” a statement from the studios read.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, and the third instalment in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, which are both filmed at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in Hertfordshire, England, have also halted production as the Covid-19 outbreak escalates, with more than 1,500 reported cases and 55 deaths in the U.K. so far.

“At the moment, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden will remain open and operational. We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and will post any updates on our website,” the studios said in a statement.

Camila Cabello is a little obsessed with eating bananas.

The singer-songwriter has taken part in Vogue’s 73 questions video series, and during the chat, shared an interesting fact about her diet.

“I actually eat a banana with every single meal,” she revealed. “It doesn’t matter what it is. It doesn’t matter if it’s pasta, a sandwich, rice and beans, scrambled eggs, pancakes, pizza. I eat bananas with everything.”

In addition, Camila divulged that chocolate is her favourite food for dessert, while tequila is her go-to alcoholic drink.

When it comes to fashion, the former Fifth Harmony star noted that she is a big fan of Chanel and also looks to Rihanna for style inspiration.

However, she insisted her mother is the one she looks to for sartorial advice.

“She always tells me when I look like a homeless person when I’m leaving the house. And she’s like, ‘You cannot do that!'” the 22-year-old laughed.

Aside from the trivia, the Havana hitmaker, who is currently residing in the English countryside as she begins production on her upcoming Cinderella remake, gushed over the project, describing playing the lead role as being immersed in a “magical world”.

“Cinderella inspires me,” she smiled. “I love living in her magical world, where she believes in dreams and she believes in love and she believes in everything good because I want to be like that. I want to be that as much as I can.”

Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, James Corden, and Missy Elliott also appear in Cinderella. The musical is set to hit movie theatres in February 2021.

James Corden, Missy Elliott and Minnie Driver have joined the cast of Camila Cabello’s Cinderella musical.

The movie, directed by writer/director Kay Cannon, is based on an original idea from the U.S. late night TV host, and will be a musical retelling of the classic fairytale.

The British star will play one of the mice who is turned into a footman to take Cinderella to the ball alongside fellow comedians John Mulaney and Romesh Ranganathan.

Meanwhile, rapper Elliott will play the Town Crier in the flick, while Driver has been tapped for the role of Queen Beatrice, according to Deadline.

The newcomers join Senorita singer Cabello, who is making her feature acting debut in Cinderella and will also be involved in the music, and as well as relatively unknown British actor Nicholas Galitzine, who has been cast as love interest Prince Robert.

Pierce Brosnan will also be playing the King, Idina Menzel will serve as the wicked stepmother, and Billy Porter will take on the role of the fairy godmother.

The musical comedy re-imagines the traditional Cinderella tale and follows the heroine as she tries to make her ambitious dreams come true. Production on the movie is set to begin this month.

Corden and Leo Pearlman are serving as producers on the film, alongside Jonathan Kadin and Shannon McIntosh, who was executive producer on Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The musical is set to hit theatres in February 2021.

Donatella Versace was thrilled to dress a number of stars for the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

Following the ceremony held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the Italian designer, who oversees the Versace fashion house, took to Instagram to share images of the celebrities her team had outfitted for the annual music bash.

Alongside a snap of Lil Nas X in a hot pink suit and matching cowboy hat, she wrote, “Breathtaking @lilnasx … such a look!! Love it!!” while beside a picture of Lizzo rocking an Old Hollywood-inspired strapless white gown, the fashion star praised: “Such a #RedCarpet dream… Perfection! Lizzo!”

Elsewhere, members of the Versace atelier made the black ballgown sported by Camila Cabello for her red carpet entrance, as well as the lilac dress she wore to perform First Man during the show, and the sexy canary yellow number she slipped into later on.

Other designers to make outfits for multiple artists included Christian Siriano, who dreamed up glamorous looks for the likes of Shania Twain, Best New Artist nominee YOLA, Lizzo, and Demi Lovato.

“Demi, it was an honour to create for you tonight and WOW that was unbelievable! Love you!” he captioned a picture of the singer sporting a white ballgown while performing her new song Anyone.

Other standout looks on the night included the white beaded Ralph & Russo dress donned by Priyanka Chopra, the monogrammed Gucci number sported by multiple Grammy Award winner Billie Eilish, and the Cinderella-esque Giambattista Valli dress rocked by Ariana Grande as she made her red carpet entrance.

Pierce Brosnan is set to play the role of the king in the new big-screen adaptation of Cinderella.

The 66-year-old will portray the regal character, alongside leading lady Camila Cabello, in writer-director Kay Cannon’s musical retelling of the fairytale.

The casting news comes days after it was announced relatively unknown British actor Nicholas Galitzine would play Cinderella’s love interest Prince Robert in the highly-anticipated film.

The movie is based on an original idea from U.S. late night TV host James Corden, and also stars Idina Menzel, who will play the wicked stepmother, and Billy Porter, who will take on the role of the fairy godmother.

Cabello, who makes her acting debut in Cinderella, will also be involved in the music.

Corden and Leo Pearlman are serving as producers on the film, alongside Jonathan Kadin and Shannon McIntosh, who was executive producer on Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Former James Bond star Brosnan will be flexing his vocal chords once again in the musical, more than 10 years after he made his singing debut on the big screen back in 2008 in Mamma Mia! He reprised his role for the sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, last year.

The actor retired as Bond after Die Another Day in 2002, after starring as the British spy in 1995’s GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997, and The World Is Not Enough in 1999.

Brosnan will next be seen in Netflix comedy Eurovision, opposite Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams, as well as horror False Positive with Justin Theroux and Ilana Glazer.

Nicholas Galitzine has reportedly been cast opposite Camila Cabello in Sony’s upcoming Cinderella reboot.

According to editors at Deadline, the 25-year-old British actor has landed the role of Prince Robert in the highly-anticipated film, after “wowing the filmmakers in many chemistry readings”.

Nicholas is a relative unknown in Hollywood, but first started making a name for himself when he starred opposite Luke Perry in 2015 movie The Beat Beneath My Feet.

He also found fame more recently by appearing alongside Uma Thurman in Netflix series Chambers and just finishing filming The Craft remake.

As well as starring alongside the Havana singer in the Cinderella retelling, based on an original idea from British comedian and U.S. late night TV host James Corden, Nicholas will be acting alongside Idina Menzel, who will play the wicked stepmother, and Billy Porter, who will take on the role of the fairy godmother.

Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon will pen the script and direct the project, after making her directorial debut with 2018 comedy Blockers.

Plot details have been kept under wraps, but James will serve as a co-producer on the movie.

The musical, which will film in London next year, is set to open in February 2021.

It’s not the first live-action adaptation of the classic fairy tale. Back in 2015, Kenneth Branagh helmed a Disney remake of the 1950 animation and it starred Lily James, Richard Madden, and Cate Blanchett.

Camila Cabello has been inked with her first tattoo.

The Havana hitmaker appears to have taken inspiration from Gwyneth Paltrow’s 1998 movie Shakespeare in Love for her new ink, which features on the inside of her right pinky finger.

The tattoo is a quote from the romantic period comedy-drama and reads, “It’s a mystery.”

Cabello decided to take the plunge during a recent night out in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Shawn Mendes, who also added a new design to his collection of body art.

West Hollywood tattoo artist Kane Navasard debuted the small inking of the letter “A” in script font behind Mendes’s right ear – a tiny tribute to his teenage sister Aaliyah – in a post on Instagram.

“Little letter ‘A’ for the man @shawnmendes,” Navasard captioned the black-and-white photo.

The couple has yet to comment on its new tattoos, but Cabello previously indicated having a permanent inking wasn’t for her.

Asked if she had ever considered getting a tattoo, the 22-year-old told New York radio station KTU 103.5 FM, “I don’t think so because, for me, I feel like I go through different phases in my life and, for me, like everything has to change… I just like to transform. I don’t even like to wear the same clothes or like, the same bracelet. When I move on from something, it’s very drastic.”

The former Fifth Harmony singer has been dating Mendes since July.

Billy Porter and Idina Menzel are set to join Camila Cabello in the upcoming Cinderella adaptation.

The 50-year-old, who recently won an Emmy for his role on Pose, announced at The New Yorker Festival that he would be playing the Fairy Godmother opposite Cabello, who will portray the glass slipper-wearing fairytale character in the musical.

“I have a couple movies that I’m working on. I’m gonna be playing the fairy godmother in the new Cinderella movie with Camila Cabello,” he said.

Earlier this month, it had been reported that Porter was in talks with bosses at Sony and was close to completing a deal.

Idina Menzel is also set to join the live-action film, which will be written and directed by Pitch Perfect filmmaker Kay Cannon, as the wicked stepmother, according to Deadline.

The Tony and Grammy-award winning singer and Broadway actress will play Evelyn, who is the cruel adoptive mother to Cinderella.

Cabello will make her movie debut in the musical – as well as being involved in the original music for the film – which will begin shooting in London in February next year.

James Corden reportedly came up with the original idea, which will focus on an ambitious young woman who is desperate to follow her dreams.

The Late Late Show host will also produce, alongside Leo Pearlman and Jonathan Kadin.

The film is set to be released in February 2021.

And it’s not the first live-action adaptation of the classic fairytale. Back in 2015, Kenneth Branagh helmed the Disney remake of the 1950 animation, starring Lily James, Richard Madden, and Cate Blanchett.

Helen Mirren wants to see more beauty products made for mature women.

The Oscar-winning actress is currently the face of L’Oreal Paris’ Age Perfect range, and while there may be more inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry, the 74-year-old wants there to be more choice for women of her generation when it comes to quality skincare products.

“Certainly, I think more needs to be done in the development of products,” she explained in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “Everybody’s entitled to look the best they can, to feel great, to enjoy doing their hair or putting on make-up, or a dress or suit. It should be open and accessible to everyone, and not just a select few who only look this way.”

And she revealed her own empowering personal philosophy which has helped her feel comfortable in her own skin.

“Try to find joy in your life, wherever you can, and be optimistic as far as is possible. Because I think this weird thing called ‘beauty’, which I’m not too sure I altogether agree with that word, has many different forms, and only one form is the outward form of your physicality. There are many other ways of being and feeling beautiful,” Mirren added.

On Sunday, The Queen star walked the catwalk during Paris Fashion Week for L’Oreal’s Le Defile show, alongside fellow L’Oreal Paris brand ambassadors including Camila Cabello, Eva Longoria, Amber Heard, Andie MacDowell, and Doutzen Kroes.

Mirren stunned as she joyfully ran barefoot down the runway while wearing a black and white chiffon Giambattista Valli gown, and she later confessed to Harper’s Bazaar that she was so grateful for the opportunity to take part in the inclusive presentation.

“I’m so happy that I witnessed that, and it’s come in my lifetime,” she smiled.
