Cardi B has urged women not to criticise those who have had plastic surgery, admitting she “remembers the struggle” of having tiny breasts and a flat bottom.

The 26-year-old rapper has been very open about the procedures she’s undergone, including having her breasts redone and having liposuction following the birth of her daughter Kulture in July 2018.

And in a video shared on Instagram on Sunday night, Cardi told her fans that she will never criticise anyone for going under the knife because she understands the reasoning behind it.

Calling out “natural b**ches” who leave comments such as “Ugh, your body’s fake. Ugh, plastic this, plastic that”, Cardi continued: “Let me tell you something. I don’t like talking s**t about b**ches’ bodies because I remember the struggle, baby. I remember when I had no motherf**king t**ties and I remember when I had a fun-sized a*s.”

She captioned the video: “Am I bugging ? Women talk about uplifting each other, but are we really uplifting each other ?”

In the comments section of the clip, the Bodak Yellow star went on to slam those women who leave remarks such as, “Don’t go to the ocean or you’re gonna kill all the whales with your motherf**king plastic a*s body.”

“If you confident in yourself, you don’t got to be under the next b**ch’s comments talking about her body,” she wrote. “My sister, she natural, she got small t**ties, she got a little cute ass. She ain’t hatin’ on the next b**ch because she know that if she want it, she could get it.”

Jennifer Lopez was terrified about performing in her Hustlers costumes for the first time – but found the experience “liberating and empowering”

The Love Don’t Cost A Thing hitmaker stars in the upcoming movie as Ramona, a veteran stripper who sets up an initiative to scam wealthy men when the sex industry bottoms out during the financial crisis of the late 2000s. And speaking to ES Magazine, the 50-year-old admitted she was nervous about her wardrobe for the role, because it was more exposed than her skimpy stage costumes.

“I’m used to being on stage in sexy costumes, but I have three layers of tights and fishnets and a bodysuit,” she laughed. “It was a brand new feeling to come out practically naked, in front of all those men – 300 extras hooting and hollering – and dance for money.

“There’s something liberating and empowering about it, but you’re really out there, physically, emotionally and psychologically.”

Jennifer also opened up about her enduring career in show business, and claimed exotic dancers have to possess the same qualities – “ambition for sure, and also toughness.”

“This business is not for the faint-hearted — it eats people up,” the On The Floor star added. “To survive in it for as many years as I have, you’ve got to have a tough skin.”

Hustlers, which also stars Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Cardi B and Lizzo, is set to hit cinemas next month (Sep19).

Jennifer Lopez befriended erotic dancers to research Hustlers role

Jennifer Lopez got to know a few erotic dancers as she was preparing to play a stripper in new movie Hustlers.

The singer/actress visited strip clubs and spent time with the performers backstage in between their acts.

“I listened to what it was like to have a career as a dancer,” she told WENN. “I soaked up the atmosphere and wanted to learn how to do things authentically, including pole dancing.”

J.Lo then trained for almost six months in preparation for the film, erecting a portable stripper pole in every city she visited.

However, she admitted learning to pole dance was really tough: “I was using a group of muscles I hadn’t ever tested before, so I walked away with fresh bruises after every session. My shoulders and back are still recovering!”

And she came away with a new respect for strippers.

“Most of these women are just trying to get by. Their struggles are 100 per cent relatable. They want to take care of themselves and their families,” the 50-year-old commented. “I think everyone deserves respect, consideration, and the ability not to be judged based on choices they’ve made, even bad choices. The truth is we’re all hustling, negotiating, striving to get through the day to win the battles we must fight. Women are constantly sexualised, but when they find a way to profit from that, all of a sudden, it’s a problem.

“In movies, strippers are painted as throwaways or just background characters. Hustlers digs into the stories of these women’s lives and shows the good, the bad, and the ugly. I think people are going to appreciate the realness of this movie and its characters.”

Hustlers, based on Jessica Pressler’s 2015 New York Magazine article titled The Hustlers at Scores, also stars Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Cardi B, and Lizzo. The film is set to hit cinemas from 13 September.

Jennifer Lopez found learning to pole dance for her new film Hustlers “challenging”.

The superstar, who started out her career as a dancer, plays stripper Ramona in the upcoming movie, which follows of a group of exotic dancers living in New York City in the late 2000s who get their revenge on wealthy, drunk, and abusive clients by maxing out their credit cards after they’ve passed out.

Regarding her preparation for the role, Lopez has now shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she worked with a pole choreographer for several months – but still found mastering the art form to be difficult.

“I have danced all my life and I work out every single day, and I can say without hesitation that learning to pole dance was one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done,” she told the publication. “I was using a completely new group of muscles – it was tough. My shoulder and back are still recovering.”

However, it was all worth it – as far as Lopez is concerned – because she was able to show exotic dancers in a different light.

“Women are constantly sexualised, but when they find a way to profit from it, suddenly it’s a problem,” the 50-year-old added. “Strippers are painted as throwaways or background characters. Hustlers digs into stories of their lives; the good, the bad, and the ugly.”

Cardi B has opened up about embracing her “weirdness” in a new video campaign for sportswear giant Reebok.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker was named as a brand ambassador for the footwear and apparel company in November.

Now, Cardi has teamed up with Reebok executives to front the Meet You There collection, a streetwear-inspired take on athleisure.

In the campaign images, the 26-year-old wears a green, blue, and white colour-blocked sports bra, black bike shorts, and a black sports jacket from the line. The accompanying video shows Cardi posing in the outfit on a city rooftop and talking about what makes her unique.

“I just thought I was weird because everyone keep telling me I’m weird (sic),” she admitted in the video. “But when I started doing videos on Instagram and so many people claimed they relate to me, I was like, ‘I guess there was a lot of weird people out there!'”

She also shared that her style was influenced by The Bronx borough in New York, where she grew up, and admitted she was insecure about her accent before she realised she had to be true to herself.

“A lot of people always talk about how I talk – I have a really deep accent,” the star continued. “I started feeling really insecure about it, but it’s like, ‘Nah, forget it.’ I gotta be real with myself all the time. That’s something I gotta do to stay me.”

The Meet You There collection, which offers sizes 2XS to 3XL and caters to men and women, also features tank tops, gym leggings, hoodies, trainers, and shorts.

Cardi B has marked her love for husband Offset by getting his name inked behind her knee.

The I Like It hitmaker is no stranger to tattoos and has an extensive collection, including a cat and a cheetah on her hip, “Loyalty over Royalty” on her bicep, and a hand making the American Sign Language gesture for “I Love You” behind her right ear.

But Cardi decided to celebrate her love for her Migos star spouse with her latest addition – and chose a somewhat unusual position for the new design.

Offset showed off his wife’s new ink in an Instagram post on Sunday, which showed the rapper FaceTiming his other half, as she lifted up her leg to display her new tattoo – written in a black swirling font behind her knee.

“CANT WAIT TO GET HOME (sic),” Offset cheekily captioned the snap.

Cardi’s permanent display of affection for her husband comes after he showed his love for the Bodak Yellow star by having the Powerpuff Girl, Buttercup, inked on his neck with “Cardi B” written under the cartoon figure.

The couple has had a rocky relationship since they wed in secret in September 2017, and welcomed daughter Kulture in July last year. Cardi shocked fans when she announced they had split in December, following rumours of Offset’s infidelity.

He publicly tried to win his estranged wife back – even surprising the rapper onstage during one of her gigs with flowers – and the couple reunited weeks later.

It’s not the first time Cardi has had a tattoo tribute to a partner – she previously had the name of her then-boyfriend Tommy Geez inked in red on her wrist as she pined for him while he was in jail. It’s unclear whether or not she still has the design on her wrist.

Cardi B has showed off her comedic side in her debut ad for Reebok.

The I Like It rapper was named as a brand ambassador for the sportswear giant last November, and on Tuesday, she dropped her first commercial – called Nails – in which she promotes the updated Club C Classic shoes.

During the short film, Cardi is seen sitting in a salon getting her hair done, as she discusses blocking a man on her phone who had failed to text her two days after they met.

She then notices her pristine white Reebok Classic Club Cs are untied, and rather than mess up her hair and lean over to tie up her shoelaces, she lets her freshly manicured nails do the work.

With her hands resting on her legs, Cardi’s nails grow to the floor, tie her shoes for her and then retract.

At the end of the video, the 26-year-old turns to a fellow customer and simply states: “Nailed it… So anyway, I think I’m going to block him.”

Cardi uploaded the video to her Instagram page too, with Snoop Dogg among the thousands of fans who commented on her post, simply writing: “U 2 Much,” alongside three of fire emojis.

Inga Stenta, senior director of global marketing at Reebok, said she wanted to “take a different path” while working with Cardi on the Club C Classic advert.

“Working with Cardi on Nails, we aimed to create a moment that is authentic to Cardi while breaking convention and doing something more engaging than a typical celebrity cameo. We took a different path, putting her in an everyday-type situation that shifts in an unexpected manner, spotlighting the iconic Reebok Club C in a completely unique way,” she commented.

Christian Louboutin would love to see Queen Elizabeth II step out in a pair of his shoes one day.

The French designer has built his eponymous label around his signature shiny, red-soled stilettos, which are coveted by fashionistas around the globe, including celebrities such as Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, and Blake Lively.

However, Louboutin has now confessed that the one person he would truly be honoured to see sport his designs is Britain’s monarch.

“I would love to see the Queen of England in my shoes,” he told The Independent, before going on recall one occasion in which he briefly thought the 93-year-old was wearing a pair of Louboutins.

“She was stepping out of a car and you couldn’t see, but there was a red carpet there and because of that, there was a reflection and it looked like the sole of her shoe was red! So many people called me and said, ‘Oh my God, the Queen of England!'”

Louboutin soon realised The Queen was wearing her signature black mid-height heels, though the moment did give him quite the thrill.

Elsewhere in the chat, the Frenchman discussed how he came to create his popular line of ballet flats and high heels which complement a wide range of skin tones, as well as his enduring passion for the colour red.

“Red is fire, blood, love and passion,” the designer smiled. “It carries a symbolism that you don’t get with other shades.”

Among all of his various ventures, Louboutin is currently gearing up to showcase his vast shoe collection in a new exhibition in Paris. After funding a partial restoration of the Palais de la Porte Doree, he will take over more than 14,000 square foot of the Art Deco-inspired location in February 2020.

Anna Wintour was “completely in awe” over the crimson gown Cardi B wore to the 2019 Met Gala.

The Bodak Yellow rapper attended the camp-themed event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City back in early May and wowed the crowd with her dramatic red high-neck dress which was covered in 30,000 feathers and featured a custom-made bodice containing 44 carats worth of rubies.

Accordingly, U.S. Vogue editor-in-chief Wintour has now shared the latest Met Gala was the moment she was convinced Cardi has what it takes to be a fashion icon.

“I was completely in awe of the stunning dress that Cardi B wore to the Met this year. She looked unbelievable,” she said in an interview for her Go Ask Anna video series. “It was designed by Thom Browne, she could barely move but it made no difference. I mean, people parted like the queen was coming through because she looked so fantastic. And I had not seen her look as chic or as original beforehand, so I have completely rethought my opinion of Cardi B’s style.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Wintour noted that sleeveless dresses are her summer must-have and jokingly commented that she wishes more fashion shows “started on time”.

And of all of the hundreds of fashion shows she has attended over the course of her career, the editor pinpointed John Galliano’s fall 1994 presentation held in Paris as her most memorable.

“My very favourite fashion show of all time was a show that John Galliano gave in a broken down, dilapidated, extraordinary mansion in Paris and the collection was all black,” the 69-year-old recalled. “John created every single look himself. And he’d been out of the public eye for a while. So, it was very emotional for him and for everybody in the audience that he was having his comeback.”

Cardi B once spent $6,000 (£4,730) on a Givenchy suit in a bid to “get noticed” by designers.

The I Like It hitmaker spoke to fashionistas at the recent Room Service membership event at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles, hosted by Creative Jenius Report founder CJ South, where she was supported her stylist Kollin Carter.

While sipping on a strawberry margarita, Cardi candidly revealed how she started small and took baby steps at the beginning of her music career, and even spent her own money on her red carpet look for the BET Awards in 2017.

“For the BET Awards, the first time I went, my Givenchy suit cost about $5,000 to $6,000,” she said, before explaining that stylists should be advising their clients to spend money so they get recognised by big designers. “Little by little, they notice you. And you get noticed.”

Both Kollin and Cardi acknowledged that it took a while for the rapper to get accepted by big-name designers, and she urged stylists to tell their clients to attend every single fashion show they get invited to.

“It took us a while to get accepted and sometimes we used to be like, ‘Damn, when are we going to get invited to these shows? When are we gonna sit front row at these shows?'” the 26-year-old recalled. “And remember, you might get invited to a new designer’s show at fashion week. Don’t ever think, ‘Oh, but that’s so little. Well, who is that? I never heard of them.’ Attend. And make sure you dress nicely and bossed up.”

While Cardi has been dressed by the likes of Moschino’s Jeremy Scott, the former Love & Hip Hop: New York reality star laughed as she revealed no fashion houses would go near her unless she had style.

“You could be the hottest and they just don’t want you in their clothes because you just don’t got that style (sic). So it’s like you gotta prove to them that you got that style. You’ve got to keep on proving,” she smiled.
