Cardi B has offered fans a behind-the-scenes look at her latest piercing session.

On Wednesday, the 27-year-old posted a series of videos on Instagram, with the footage showing her holding her Migos star husband Offset’s hand as a body piercing professional gave her three dermal piercings on her chest and a labret piercing below her lip.

“I don’t even know why I’m agreeing to this,” Cardi complained in one clip, before Offset encouraged her by commenting: “Take that s**t like a G!”

“Oh my God, that one hurt!” she yelled, after jokingly asking the 28-year-old why he wasn’t getting any piercings.

“This b**ch hurt. I forgot how it felt,” Cardi captioned the videos, and later showed off the new bling on her chest.

“The finale,” she wrote alongside the clip, in which she revealed the piercings now featured diamond-encrusted piercings, including one that was shaped like a dollar sign.

Earlier in the day, Cardi also took to the platform to shut down rumours that she had been editing videos and pictures of her body by uploading footage depicting her wearing a blue Louis Vuitton bikini.

“Now I know a b**ch gained some weight, because I had to make the thighs match the motherf**kin a**,” she joked. “I know I gained a little bit of weight and I’m actually holding it in… but it doesn’t matter though… I got lipo money.”

The I Like It rapper also touched on the subject on her Instagram Stories, and told her followers: “Like y’all think I’m editing it, just ask me for a (video)… I got a little fat. I gained a little weight, you know what I’m saying? It’s all good. Can ask me for a video, I’ll show ya.”

Cardi B has given her sprawling peacock tattoo a makeover after 10 years.

The Bodak Yellow rapper revealed to her Instagram followers on Monday that she had endured “hours of pain” at the hands of California-based tattoo artist Jamie Schene for the past seven days to give her massive piece of body art an overhaul.

She shared a before and after comparison on Instagram, with the image showing how her old tattoo, which begins at her lower back, covers her right butt cheek, and extends down the back and side of her right thigh, had become dull and faded.

Yet, the update looks vibrant and colourful – besides brightening up the original design, Schene also added more details on the peacock, new floral motifs, and a pink butterfly.

“So after ten years I gave my peacock tattoo a makeover. This whole week I been takin hours of pain getting tatted (sic),” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you @jamie_schene.”

Schene also shared the same snap on his Instagram page and praised Cardi for taking the pain.

“I gave Cardi’s peacock a makeover! Thanks for the trust @iamcardib You’re (sic) strength and determination is inspiring. (Getting tattooed for 7 days in a row is no joke),” he posted.

The 27-year-old showed off the new tattoo in all its glory by uploading an image of her posing in a white bikini and heels. She also surprised fans by rocking a short hot pink hairstyle.

The body art marks the latest collaboration between Cardi and the tattoo artist. Back in May, she unveiled an elaborate tattoo comprised of colourful flowers and birds which begins at the top of her back and ends at the back of her left thigh. In the caption, she revealed the process took “several months”.

Cardi B is unimpressed by how much the skin around her new tattoo has been peeling.

Last month, the Bodak Yellow rapper took to social media to share a series of images of her colourful floral inking, which extends down her back and onto her thigh.

But on Tuesday night, Cardi uploaded a series of snaps to her Instagram Stories showing how dramatically her skin was peeling, particularly on a patch of the tattoo on her leg rendered to look like green and blue peacock feathers.

“The peeling process, yucky,” she sighed. “It looks so nasty. Colourful – but nasty. The peeling is disgusting.”

While it can appear alarming, it’s a normal part of the healing process for skin to peel after a tattoo session.

When unveiling her new body art in May, Cardi credited tattoo artist Jamie Schene and revealed that the vivid design had taken several months to complete.

“Okay guys! Soooo here it is! It took me several months but I’m finally finished. This is my back tattoo! It goes from the top of my back to the middle of my thigh. Thank you @jamie_schene,” the 27-year-old posted alongside a close-up video of the tattoo.

Meanwhile, Cardi has been keeping fans updated on her life at home during the coronavirus crisis, and on Monday, demonstrated how she makes a DIY hair mask for herself and her 23-month-old daughter Kulture using mayonnaise, banana, castor oil, avocado, argan oil, egg, and honey.

“This is really how my hair is – this is my hair texture,” she told viewers while showing off her long natural locks. “My daughter’s hair is curly, but my s**t don’t get curly at all, it’s just straight like this, but I still need moisture. It’s a good hair mask to help your hair grow. All the good things that you put in your body, you gotta put in your hair.”

Cardi B showed her Instagram followers how she makes her own hair mask on Monday night.

In a series of videos posted on her Instagram Stories, the Bodak Yellow rapper revealed she was making a hair mask to help moisturise her and her 22-month-old daughter Kulture’s hair.

“This is avocado (in the bowl), and I just finished putting the argan oil (in),” she demonstrated to her fans. “I’m gonna put (in) mayonnaise, castor oil, olive oil – I know it’s a lot of oil but my baby girl’s hair gotta be really hydrated like mine – and I’m about to put egg and honey (in).”

Cardi then added in avocado oil, a “big chunky scoop” of mayonnaise, a small amount of honey, an egg, another avocado, and a lot of black castor oil, before putting it in a blender to make the mixture smooth, with her explaining: “(It’s) really hard to take avocado chunks off your head.”

Before starting the blender, the star added in a banana and another egg and told her followers: “All of this s**t is good for the hair.”

Cardi proceeded to show off the results on Kulture’s hair and praised the mask for bringing out her curl pattern, before explaining how they have different textures.

“This is really how my hair is – this is my hair texture,” she told viewers while showing off her long natural hair. “My daughter’s hair is curly, but my s**t don’t get curly at all, it’s just straight like this, but I still need moisture. It’s a good hair mask to help your hair grow. All the good things that you put in your body, you gotta put in your hair.”

The 27-year-old returned hours later to show off her glossy locks, with her gushing, “So I finished and this is the end result. This is how I look… nice and shiny.”

She also shared a snap on her Instagram page with the caption: “The end results of all that s**t I put on my hair earlier…Treat your hair ladies.”

Cardi B was determined to embrace her natural hair for the 2018 Met Gala.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker stepped out alongside designer Jeremy Scott for the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination-themed event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City back in May 2018.

Cardi was in the first trimester of her pregnancy with daughter Kulture at the time, and when it came to her look, the star had very specific ideas – right down to the styling of her hair.

“All I thought about was just royal, queen, mother Mary, because I was pregnant. I really wanted to do that, but a modern version… I love when my real hair is out… It was like a lion. I just feel so beautiful, I feel so natural, I feel like that represents me,” the 27-year-old said in a video for Vogue.com, before hinting that she had a few extensions added in for more volume. “I mean, my hair don’t get that big, you know what I’m saying? I need more inches.”

And Jeremy was thrilled Cardi stuck to her guns when it came to her hairstyle.

“She was dead set that she wanted to have this hair, and this volume. So, she went that direction, and again, I think she was completely right,” he added.

Elsewhere in the clip, the rapper also divulged that she was very picky about finding the exact right shade of red lipstick for the prestigious fashion bash, and eventually settled on a striking ruby hue.

“Us women, we are very specific about red. So, we decided to do a red lip, and I just felt like the red didn’t match. It wasn’t the red that I wanted, so my make-up artist was running back and forth getting different types of reds to match the jewels on the dress and the crown… just the little things set everything off,” she smiled.

Editors at U.S. Vogue magazine will be hosting a virtual Met Gala event on YouTube on Monday.

The annual Costume Institute Gala was due to be held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on 4 May, with the fashion bash set to celebrate the opening of the spring exhibition titled About Time: Fashion and Duration.

But while regular co-chair and U.S. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour confirmed that the 2020 Met Gala would be postponed indefinitely back in March due to the coronavirus crisis, she has now unveiled a line-up of online content for keen fashionistas.

“It would be impossible to recreate the gala on Monday evening, though I have loved hearing how so many are marking the occasion in their own ways,” she said. “So instead, I asked a few friends to join me for a simple moment – one that I hope will bring us all a bit of joy.”

The programming will kick off with a look at actress Liza Koshy’s best red carpet moments, followed by British supermodel Naomi Campbell reflecting on some of her most iconic looks.

The A Moment With the Met will begin at 6pm EST, with the livestream to include performances from Florence + The Machine and a DJ set by Louis Vuitton menswear designer Virgil Abloh. Another clip, entitled Everything You Need to Know About the Met Gala, is to start after.

And on Tuesday, fashion stars such as Cardi B, Jeremy Scott, Liv Tyler, and Stella McCartney will take part in further Met Gala-related discussions.

As part of the initiative, bosses at Vogue will be donating to the Costume Institute and A Common Thread, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund for Covid-19 relief. They will be asking viewers to consider contributing if they can.

While guests for the 2020 Met Gala were not revealed prior to the postponement, the evening’s co-chairs were to include Louis Vuitton’s Nicolas Ghesquiere and Hollywood stars Lin-Manuel Miranda, Emma Stone, and Meryl Streep.

Cardi B has showed off her natural hair in an Instagram video.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker wears wigs in a variety of different colours, lengths, and styles when she’s out in a public, so her fans have rarely seen her natural hair.

However, on Friday, Cardi showcased her long, voluminous curls in a video on social media. In the clip, she can be seen stroking her locks, displaying her long, multicoloured nails in the process, and admiring how long her tresses have grown while wearing a white robe before a shower.

“Look at my hair, this is deada*s my f**king real hair… yes, let me wash it. Wow, I’m so proud of myself,” she told her followers, as running water could be heard in the background.

To explain why she was so proud of her curls, the 27-year-old shared a throwback photo taken four years ago when her natural hair barely touched her shoulders.

After washing her locks, Cardi posted another video showing her in the middle of a styling session. One half of her hair looked like it had been blow-dried while the other had been straightened into a sleek style, with the strands reaching down past her breasts.

In May 2018, the rapper admitted she had been neglecting her hair while promoting Vida Hair Growth products.

“I haven’t really been taking care of my natural hair,” she shared. “I just be leaving it in braids for such a long time and changing wigs, but since I’m gonna be home more often, I’m going to be taking care of my natural hair by myself. I promise you, this s**t makes your hair grow to be so healthy and beautiful (sic).”

Celebrities including Reese Witherspoon, Cardi B, and Zendaya have been gifted Beyonce’s upcoming Adidas x IVY PARK collection.

The superstar originally launched the athleisure company in 2016 with Topshop tycoon Philip Green, but after buying his shares to assume full ownership of the brand, Beyonce revealed in April she was partnering with Adidas bosses to release the new Ivy Park, which is due for release on Saturday.

To promote the line in the run-up to the launch, the Formation hitmaker decided to send the entire unisex collection, contained in a big orange box on wheels, to a bunch of celebrities, who took to social media to gush about their coveted gift.

The Legally Blonde star shared a video on Instagram of her mother wheeling the orange box up her driveway before the pair unclipped the front. The footage then turned into a montage of Reese stepping out of the box and posing or dancing in a variety of Ivy Park ensembles, such as the purple jumpsuit, the purple form-fitting dress, sneakers, and a beanie hat.

“Does this officially make me the newest member of the #Beyhive?” she wrote in the caption. “Thank you, @Beyonce for the #IvyPark swag!”

Cardi also posted a video of her standing in front of the orange box before filming herself sifting through items on the rail.

“So, I just got home and look what I got. B**ch Beyonce done give me a closet… I gotta open it,” she can be heard saying.

Zendaya simply shared a picture of her posing in front of the orange box on her Instagram Stories and thanked Beyonce in the caption, while model Hailey Bieber shared a video of her going through the rail and called it “the coolest thing I’ve ever been sent”. She was photographed wearing the purple crop top and matching tracksuit bottoms while she visited a dance studio on Wednesday.

Actresses including Laverne Cox, Yara Shahidi, and Issa Rae were also sent the surprise gift.

Slick Woods is battling numbness in her legs while she undergoes treatment for cancer.

The model, real name Simone Thompson, announced on Instagram last month that she was fighting a type of skin cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.

Slick has been spotted out and about since the diagnosis, and took to social media on Monday night to show her fans and followers that she was determined not to let the disease get in the way of living her life.

Sharing videos on Instagram Stories of her joking around with friends while at The London in New York City, the 23-year-old was able to enjoy a night out when she was provided with a wheelchair by staff at the hotel.

“Legs numb left hand still numb I hate bulls**t and the London gave me a wheelchair,” she captioned a clip.

In another video, she insisted the wheelchair would not stop her from enjoying herself.

“I’m going to the strip club with a wheelchair, I don’t give a f**k about nothing,” Slick confidently stated. “I am really in a wheelchair.”

The mother-of-one was inundated with supportive messages from her famous friends, including rapper Cardi B, who commented: “We LOVE YOU!!!!!!!! And I got your Ugg’s. My mom FaceTime me the package I’m wearing them when I get to NY!”

Empire star Taraji P. Henson and fellow model Jasmine Sanders also left a series of messages and emojis on the star’s video.

Back in November, Slick revealed the news of her health struggles on Instagram, but stopped short of saying exactly what was wrong.

However, she later reportedly told editors at The Shade Room that she is “battling stage 3 melanoma cancer”.
