Margot Robbie had fun with feathers at the world premiere of Birds of Prey in London on Wednesday night.

The actress, who reprises the role of Harley Quinn in Cathy Yan’s new superhero movie, stepped out at the BFI IMAX in a black silk skirt from Dries Van Noten along with a bralet top with black feathers attached and hot pink gloves.

A photo posted by stylist Kate Young on Instagram also showed Margot posing with a piece of mustard yellow silk around her arms, but the star must have decided to ditch that particular accessory before hitting the red carpet.

Hairstylist Bryce Scarlett was tasked with styling the 29-year-old’s blonde hair into textured waves, while her make-up artist Pati Dubroff played up the colours of her outfit by painting gold glitter onto her eyelids and giving her a slick of pink lipstick.

However, Margot wasn’t the only Birds of Prey castmember to opt for feathers at the event. Jurnee Smollett-Bell, who portrays Black Canary, opted for a quirky black ensemble with feathers attached to the hem of the skirt from Guy Laroche.

And the Australian shared in a chat with Entertainment Tonight that she and her colleagues had unexpectedly coordinated outfits regularly on the press tour.

“We’ve now started texting each other before getting ready. We’re like, ‘What are you wearing? OK, you are wearing black-and-white checkers. I was gonna wear that.’ But now we keep doubling up. I think we’re all just on the same page,” she smiled.

Elsewhere, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays Huntress, made a statement in a long red Zuhair Murad gown with a pleated skirt and bow detailing on the shoulders. She accessorised with a dice-shaped purse and jewellery from Bondeye and EF Collection.

Filmmaker Cathy, as well as co-stars Rosie Perez, Chris Messina, and Ella Jay Basco, were also in attendance.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) hits cinemas from 5 February.

Channing Tatum has surprised fans by unveiling a bold new hair colour and style.

The Magic Mike actor took to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (19Mar19) to post a selfie showing him pointing to his fresh buzz cut and platinum blond dye job.

Adding a poll button, Channing wrote, “Bad idea? Haha,” and allowed options for “Yes” and “No.”

In spite of asking for opinions, in a follow-up post, he indicated that he will be sticking with his blond hair as he captioned the snap: “Well, bad ideas are sort of my thing. So…”

It is not clear when Channing bleached his naturally brown hair as he was seen sporting a black cap in recent paparazzi photos, in which he was spotted with new girlfriend Jessie J.

However, the makeover has divided the 38-year-old’s followers. Many praised the look, with one user writing, “Love the new hair! Looks great!” and another commenting, “Channing can do no wrong.”

A third noted, “I didn’t know I needed blond @channingtatum until I saw him.”

Though many users made comparisons between Channing’s hair and Eminem’s signature look.

“Will the Real Slim Shady please stand up,” one person wrote, referring to the rapper’s 2000 song, another added: “I’m not emotionally ready to talk about Channing Tatum going blond.”

Channing has mostly stuck with his brown hair for movie roles in recent years, though he did show off lighter hair while visiting Peru with his then-wife Jenna Dewan in late 2015 and shaved his head for 2009 movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

Other celebrity men to recently try out platinum blond hair include Justin Bieber, Chris Messina, Riz Ahmed, Pete Davidson, and Zac Efron.
