Chrissy Teigen regularly resells her designer clothes online and donates the money to charity.
The model, presenter, and author recently took part in a Q&A on Twitter and invited her 12.1 million followers to ask her any question about her life, work, and family.
“It’s celebrity question asking time! Ask me, your favourite A-list celebrity anything you would like to know about being a super huge A- list celebrity,” the 34-year-old joked.
“Do you have a million rooms in your house. Also, how many expensive dresses have you worn?” one keen fan asked, with Chrissy giving a surprising answer.
“Every room is very used and occupied. I have worn a lot of expensive things but always have to give them back,” she shared. “Since the babies, I’m not sample size anymore so I buy almost everything I wear and then resell on TheRealReal and donate the (money) to charity.”
The website sells vintage and pre-worn luxury and designer items, such as pieces from Chanel, Balenciaga, and Balmain, and also resells accessories, including fine jewellery.
Elsewhere in the candid Q&A, Chrissy revealed that she misses being able to do “normal” tasks such as visiting the grocery store and confessed that she fights with husband John Legend everywhere.
“I don’t care. John just won’t fight back,” the star quipped.
And when asked by one follower if fame has changed her for the better, Chrissy opened up about her mental health struggles.
“I dunno, honestly. I still see things from every perspective. But I’m also highly anxious and perceptive so it’s kind of hell for my own mind. But also, good? I like that I can help people, but my own self is kind of…stuck?” she replied.

Chrissy Teigen has got a new tattoo featuring the birth dates of her loved ones.
The 33-year-old model and presenter revealed the ink in a series of photos on Instagram on Thursday after she visited celebrity tattoo artist Daniel Winter, also known as Winter Stone.
“Cool mom back at it again with @winterstone!!!!” Teigen wrote alongside the snaps, which included a shot of Stone putting the finishing touches on his work of art.
In the last picture, the Sports Illustrated model unveiled the tattoo, which consists of a line of numbers which denote the date of births of her loved ones – father Ron Teigen, mother Vilailuck Teigen, husband John Legend, their daughter Luna, three, and son Miles, 16 months.
Legend commented on his wife’s post and joked that Teigen had only been inked with the dates so that she could remember them, with him quipping: “The ultimate mnemonic device!”
And this isn’t the first time that she has had a permanent tribute to her family inked on her body.
Back in April, the Lip Sync Battle co-host got matching tattoos with Legend in honour of their two children, with Teigen’s reading, “John – Luna – Miles” and the All of Me hitmaker’s featuring the names, “Chrissy – Luna – Miles.”
“Hey guys please don’t talk to us unless u have tattoos we are a cool tattoo family now and we only want to talk to other tattoo families (srry if this seems harsh)(sic),” Teigen joked on Instagram as she revealed the couple’s sweet gesture.

Chrissy Teigen’s bottom lip swelled up to almost double its size ahead of her friends’ wedding over the weekend.
The 33-year-old flew back to her home state of Utah to attend the wedding of her pals Meghan Mackenzie and Luke Dillon, but disaster struck before the event, as her bottom lip swelled up so much that she thought it was going “to explode”.
Sharing an image of her dramatically swollen pout on Twitter, Chrissy put the condition down to bad altitude sickness.
“Very upset and saddened that my own birth state, Utah, has chosen to poison me with terrible altitude sickness,” she tweeted. “Did u know angioedema can be triggered from altitude sickness? learn something new every day! my lip about to explode. goodbye world… It’s so big it’s shiny and hard like glass.”
According to experts at the U.K.’s National Health Service (NHS), angioedema is the swelling of the deeper layers of the skin, caused by a build-up of fluid. It can occur in any part of the body, but usually affects eyes and lips.
Chrissy then shared a video showing her in bed as she tries to say, “Luke, Meghan, why have you chosen to get married in a place which would try to destroy me?” through her sore lips.
She captioned the clip: “This is premeditated murder if you ask me.”
Later on, Chrissy took to her Instagram Stories and explained that she used an oxygen treatment to help bring the swelling down right up until the ceremony began, and it was seemingly effective, as they are back to normal in a photo her husband John Legend posted from the wedding on social media. In the snap, the TV personality can be seen wearing a pale blue one-shoulder dress while John poses in a salmon pink suit.

Chrissy Teigen has teamed up with eyewear brand Quay Australia to promote a range of sunglasses and blue light glasses.
The model and TV personality has partnered with executives at the brand on QUAY X CHRISSY, a collection comprised of the company’s best-selling frames in all-new, muted retro tones. The range features chic, oversized sunglasses as well as glasses fitted with lenses boasting Blue Light Technology, which help block harmful light from digital screens that may cause symptoms like headaches, blurry vision, and loss of sleep.
“I’ve come across Quay a number of times over the years through friends, so when the opportunity to partner came up, it felt right. I love that they offer something so special that’s accessible to everyone – the product is beautiful, and the price point is inclusive,” said Chrissy, a big fan of Twitter, in a statement. “The blue light collection was such a natural alignment since I’m clearly spending a lot of time looking at screens.”
As part of the partnership, Chrissy will also serve as the face of the brand’s new global Education is Quay campaign, in which winners will be granted a $10,000 (£8,000) scholarship each to use towards their university education.
Chrissy will help select the 10 winners from students who submit an application detailing what self-expression means to them, and the 33-year-old said she was excited to be part of the initiative.
“The scholarship component of the campaign is what brought it all together for me. The opportunity to give back and fund someone’s dream is such a special privilege, and I’m thrilled to be a part of that,” she continued.
The collection ranges in price from $50 to $60 (£41 to £49) and is available to buy on the Quay Australia website.

Chrissy Teigen shares almost all of her beauty products with husband John Legend.
The model and TV personality wed the All of Me hitmaker in 2013, and the couple has two children – Luna, three, and 13-month-old Miles.
Now, Chrissy has explained to People that both her and John just grab the first product they can when they’re taking a shower.
“We share pretty much everything,” she insisted. “We keep everything in the shower together. I kind of just reach for the first thing that I see, and he does the same thing. We’re not sticklers about the actual skincare products.”
Though the pair might be unfazed by using the same shower gel and moisturiser, there is one item they don’t share, and that’s the new sonic cleansing device, Foreo’s Luna 3.
“When it comes to tools, we have our own individual things. He has a Foreo, too. It’s right next to the sink. It’s like his-and-hers Foreos!” explained Chrissy, who has recently partnered with Foreo.
The silicone device deep cleans as it massages skin at one of 16 different power levels, and the star revealed she uses it while flying to relieve her dry and irritated skin.
“It’s so easy to use and leaves my skin feeling so clean and refreshed,” the 33-year-old said. “On airplanes, I get crazy dry – almost peeling. So, I will put some Aquaphor or Lucas’ Papaw Ointment around my nose and cheeks, then use the Luna 3 to infuse it into my skin.”
The Lip Sync Battle co-host uses the Luna 3 to do a deep cleanse on her skin with her go-to cleanser, iS Clinical’s Cleansing Complex. She then moisturises with an ointment and swears by sheet masks to get a glowing complexion.
“I am an avid mask user. I go to Koreatown and buy all those masks. I love the silicone ones because they adhere to every inch of your face and stay moist for a long time,” she added.

Top fashion designers Clare Waight Keller and Pierpaolo Piccioli have made the Time 100 list.
Each year, editors at Time magazine compile a list of the most influential people in the world, with the 2019 announcement including celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Sandra Oh, Chrissy Teigen, Dwayne Johnson, and Regina King, as well as political figures like U.S. President Donald Trump and House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Members of the fashion and beauty industries were honoured too, such as Givenchy creative director Waight Keller, who is known for making Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress.
“We are drawn to Clare’s work because she doesn’t design from the outside in, she designs from the inside out. From the place of pinning clothes on a body,” commented actress Julianne Moore in a statement for Time regarding the fashion star.
While Piccioli, who has headed up Valentino since 2008, was toasted by Frances McDormand. The Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri star wore custom Valentino numbers to the 2018 Met Gala and the 2019 Oscars.
“His reign in the House of Valentino has been a lesson in grace,” she gushed of the Italian designer. “He feels no need to erase the past but builds on its foundation and by doing so makes the future of the house stronger, braver. His inclusionary vision is evidenced by the way he honours the craftspeople in his atelier and shares a meal with them after the couture events. And he is a great dancer!”
In addition, Rent the Runway co-founder Jennifer Hyman was included in the list, and received an admiring essay from fashion icon Diane von Furstenberg, while make-up maven Pat McGrath was feted by ‘70s supermodel Beverly Johnson, who she described as a “legend”.

Chrissy Teigen has hit back at an online troll who called her “chubby” and told her she “needs to get to the gym”.
The Twitter user, named Jose, launched the unprovoked attack on Monday (15Apr19), and directly tagged the presenter and model in the vile tweet.
“Tiegan (sic) likes to attack people, so i’m attacking her weight, chubby needs to get to the gym,’ he wrote.
Chrissy, 33, was quick to clap back at the critic and insisted that she wouldn’t let his words affect her.
“I hate to say this but… you are not a small person?” the star replied. “Also I don’t care about my weight sooooo this does not hurt.”
The star, who is married to All of Me hitmaker John Legend and welcomed the couple’s son Miles, now 11-months-old, last May, has previously been forced to defend her postpartum figure online.
Taking to the social media late last month, the star revealed she was 20lb (9kg) heavier than before she was pregnant with Miles, and stated she was not looking to lose the weight.
“‘How do you eat like this??’ – basically I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before miles,” she began. “He’s 10 months old, I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much. Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!”
Chrissy continued to share that she feels happier at her current weight, and insisted that she’d rather be heavier and happier than suffering from postpartum depression, as she did after giving birth to daughter Luna in April 2016.
“The thinnest I’ve ever been was right after (giving birth to) Luna,” the star continued. “Postpartum depression. I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!”

Chrissy Teigen is 20 pounds heavier than she was before giving birth to her son – and she’s fine with that.
The presenter and model shares two children with singer husband John Legend – Luna, two, and 10-month-old Miles.
Her figure has changed drastically since she became a mother, but Chrissy told her followers on Twitter over the weekend (30-31Mar19) that she’s slowly getting used to her new curves.
“Basically, I am 20 pounds (nine kilograms) heavier than I was before Miles,” the 33-year-old wrote, after asking herself, “How do I eat like this?”
“He’s 10 months old. I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much. Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!” she continued.
In another tweet, Chrissy added to her fans that she’s much happier with where she is now compared to how she was after giving birth to Luna, when she suffered from postpartum depression.
“The thinnest I’ve ever been was right after Luna,” the star tweeted. “Postpartum depression. I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!”
Chrissy’s comments about her weight came after she gave fans an insight into her love of food. After going to a restaurant called Joy in Los Angeles with John, the Lip Sync Battle co-host admitted she ordered “everything on the menu”.
“Then we went to donut friend across the street and had apple fritters. then we went to somi somi for ice cream in k-town (Koreatown). then we went to Korean bbq. then I had a meatball sub at home,” she wrote afterwards.
Chrissy also decided to make a Thanksgiving dinner for her family on Saturday night, after admitting it’s “been too long since thanksgiving”.

Billy Eichner is putting a new spin on the romcom with a gay love story, which he will write and star in.
The three-time Emmy nominee, who is well known to U.S. audiences as the creator and star of Funny Or Die’s Billy on the Street, is teaming up with super-producer Judd Apatow’s Apatow Productions and director Nicholas Stoller, who helmed the two Bad Neighbors films, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and its follow up Get Him to the Greek, on the film.
“Excited, terrified, completely in shock and PROUD as hell to announce this movie. We’re making a big, new romantic comedy for Universal!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!” Billy tweeted alongside Deadline’s casting story.
The news prompted an outpouring of love from Billy’s millions of followers, including famous fans like Chrissy Teigen, Julianne Moore, and Ben Platt.
“Getting emotional reading all your messages about this, especially from my LGBTQ friends. I will do my best not to let you down!!!” the openly gay star later tweeted. “Well I hate when people say “my heart is full” but my heart is f**king full. Don’t worry, it won’t last.”
According to editors at Deadline, the story will centre around two men who have commitment problems and are attempting a relationship. Billy will also co-produce the feature.
The comedian has been making his mark on the big screen in recent years with films like Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, where he worked with director Nicholas, and The Angry Birds Movie. He’s also in the highly anticipated The Lion King live-action remake, where he voices Timon.
