Sam Smith always suffers from “tricky body issues” during the Christmas holidays.

The singer, who came out as non-binary earlier this year and now prefers to be referred to with the pronouns they/their, posted a black and white topless snap on Instagram, with the image showing their arms crossed across a hairy chest.

Alongside the picture, Smith wrote: “Christmas time is upon us. This time of the year always triggers tricky body issues with me. I love me some mince pies and all the trimmings, and I always find I gain a bit of weight during this time.

“I’m writing this out to you all, but also writing this for myself. Let’s make sure we remind our bodies during this time that no matter what weight we are, we are deserving of love and acceptance. Let’s love our fluctuating bodies. Look in that mirror and shower that reflection with Christmas kindness. Be super soft. It’s an everyday struggle for me. You aren’t alone.”

The Stay With Me singer was quickly inundated with messages from their fans and celebrity friends, including plus-size model Tess Holliday, who wrote: “Yes. This. Forever. You are beautiful and valid regardless of your size, and thank you for sharing this. (Oh and enjoy all the mince pies).”

Singer Brandi Carlile commented, “You are f**king beautiful Sam”, while Beth Ditto added, “i deserve alllllllll that cake (sic) !”

Smith has previously spoken about their battle with weight and body confidence, writing on Instagram back in April that they have “always hated being naked”. Despite that, the star decided to have a naked day and added to fans: “It has been so empowering and wonderful and f**king FUN. I think everyone should have a naked day once in a while and celebrate that beautiful human body of yours.”

Kris Jenner is planning to send Botox vouchers to her friends and family this Christmas.

The 64-year-old, who boasts a line-free visage thanks to regular injections with the wrinkle-smoothing product, has teamed up with executives at BOTOX Cosmetic to promote the company’s $100 gift card promotion.

Speaking about the partnership in an interview with People.com, Kris insisted it was a no-brainer for her as it means she doesn’t have to think about what to get for her nearest and dearest.

“It’s a one stop shop for me,” she told the publication. “And who doesn’t love Botox? For me, it’s been really great. If you’re responsible, and you talk to your doctor, I think it works. It’s something that I’ve been using for a long time.”

Kris went on to explain that she will give her mother Mary Jo Campbell a BOTOX Cosmetic voucher too.

“I also feel really blessed to have my mom still here feeling okay, and she’s 85 years old. I hope I have that adventurous spirit when I’m her age. She’s a joy. I’m going to give her a Botox gift card for sure,” the mother-of-six commented.

BOTOX Cosmetic’s gift cards are now available to order. A healthcare specialist will decide if a member is an appropriate candidate for the treatment.

Botox is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the look of moderate to severe forehead lines, crow’s feet, and frown lines. There is a risk of some side effects, so anyone interested in trying the procedure or other filler products should first consult with their doctor.

Christian Louboutin will design Claridge’s Christmas tree this year.

The French designer is known for his signature shiny, red-soled stilettos, which are coveted by fashionistas around the globe, including celebrities such as Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez, and Blake Lively.

However, Louboutin is now turning his attention to festive decorations, as he has been tapped to design the Christmas tree that will stand in the lobby of the luxury London hotel.

“I have been a long-time guest of Claridge’s and consider it my second home when in London,” said Louboutin. “It is an honour to be invited to design the Claridge’s Christmas Tree which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Claridge’s is one of the most magical destinations with the tree being one of the city’s highlights at Christmas. I am glad to bring a little piece of Paris to such an iconic London landmark.”

Louboutin will unveil his creation on 21 November. And Claridge’s co-owner Paddy McKillen can’t wait to see what the fashion icon has come up with.

“Christmas has always been a truly special time of year for us here at Claridge’s and we are delighted to have Christian bring his festive magic to the hotel. We promise some extra special touches and of course a few surprises,” he shared.

This year marks the tenth time executives at Claridge’s have asked a guest to design a tree in their own distinctive style. Previous tree designers include Diane von Furstenberg, Karl Lagerfeld, Christopher Bailey, Dolce & Gabbana’s Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Alber Elbaz, and John Galliano.

Gigi Hadid spends time writing special notes for each of her family members at Christmas.

The model is one of the busiest names in the fashion business, having recently walked the runway for the likes of Jeremy Scott, Anna Sui, Missoni, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger and Balmain.

But Gigi always takes time out of her busy schedule during the festive season to pen letters to her siblings, including models Bella and Anwar Hadid.

“I love writing notes for the holidays. I do it for my family and also for everyone that I work with, I always send notes,” she told Elle.com, adding that she gets very emotional when it comes time for everybody to read the heartfelt words. “It’s so funny because Christmas morning is not cute for us because we’re crying over everyone’s really long notes. We’re always like, ‘I’ll read them later!! Don’t show me your note!!!'”

During the chat, Gigi went on to explain that she can’t wait to get into the Yuletide spirit and enjoys spending the time at home in December.

Apart from having movie nights, the wider Hadid family also spend a lot of time cooking up Christmas delicacies in the kitchen.

“We all cook something different on Christmas,” the 23-year-old smiled. “I’m usually on pie duty, so I make like five different kinds of pies, but I always like to do something fun and random. One year I made Santa’s Sleigh out of candy and cupcakes, I love creative projects like that.”

This year, Gigi got into the festive mode early after she was tapped by bosses at iconic New York toy store FAO Schwarz to re-design uniforms for the staff working at the new flagship location at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The blonde beauty created red and gold military-style suits for the front of house employees, and previously shared that the gig was a dream come true as she had always loved visiting the boutique as a child.

“It was my favourite thing as a kid,” she said during a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I feel like when you are a kid you don’t always remember the toys that you get but an experience like FAO Schwarz… you remember forever. There are more experiences this time.”

Chris Columbus avoids watching his Christmas movies during the festive season.

The filmmaker is known for writing classics like Gremlins and The Goonies, as well as for directing films such as Home Alone, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, the first two Harry Potter films, and Mrs. Doubtfire.

While Chris’ movies continue to be popular family fare in December, he has now admitted that he steers clear of watching his own flicks.

“No, no, no, no,” he laughed when asked by reporters at Total Film if he is tempted to re-watch Home Alone. “I laugh about it with my family. We can’t escape it, from like Thanksgiving to 1 January, it seems like a lot of my films are on TV.”

However, Chris did insist that he is a big fan of the Yuletide season. He invests a lot of time and energy in finding the perfect decorations for inside and outside of his home.

“Christmas is a very important time in the Columbus household. I’m at the tree loft the very first day it opens, picking out the biggest tree. I decorate my own tree,” the 60-year-old smiled. “And because I don’t want to fall off a ladder, I have a company put up a ridiculously embarrassing amount of lights in front of my house.”

As the king of festive films, Chris has jumped on board as a producer of Netflix project The Christmas Chronicles.

The movie features Kurt Russell as Santa Claus, and the director is certain there is room to develop the concept into a series if viewers respond well.

“As we were making the film, I realised there was a much bigger world here. So, I got excited about the potential for digging deeper, with maybe another film in the series, and treating the world of the North Pole and the mythology of Santa Claus with a seriousness that it’s never been treated with,” he added.
