Hilary Duff dyed her hair blue after buying the shade for her son Luca.

The Younger actress is a hair chameleon and is always experimenting with different lengths, styles, and shades – but she went one step further by dyeing her locks blue earlier this month.

In an interview with America’s Cosmopolitan magazine, Hilary revealed that the dye was actually meant for her eight-year-old son Luca, who had been frequently asking to try out the hue for some time. She finally agreed to let him do it during the lockdown and decided to use the dye on her own tresses first.

“I had a hair appointment on the books but I cancelled it because we were quarantining a little bit before we were supposed to. My son was always asking me to dye his hair blue – he goes to a private school, so they’re not allowed to. Since we’re home, I’m like, ‘Well, they can’t really tell me you can’t have blue hair for his Zoom (video) meeting.’ I’m the teacher now, so I’m making these rules,” she explained.

The 32-year-old was impressed by how easy the process was and how well her hair took the colour.

“He (Luca) actually hasn’t done it yet, but he was at his dad’s for a few days and his hair dye came and I was like, ‘I’m doing it.’ It was really easy,” the star shared. “I had no idea that my hair is so dark because I haven’t seen my actual colour in years. My roots are jet black and whatever was blonde on the bottom took the hair colour really well. Who knows what it’s going to look like in a week, but it looks kind of fun right now.”

Hilary shares Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie. She is also mother to a 17-month-old daughter named Banks with her husband Matthew Koma.

Sofia Richie preparing to release bikini line

Sofia Richie is planning to kick off her business empire with a line of bikinis.

The 21-year-old is gearing up to launch her own business this year and will start by releasing a line of swimwear, as she is obsessed with bikinis and owns around “50 or 60” pairs.

“I love bikinis… I feel like my following is always fascinated by the bikinis I’m wearing,” Sofia told U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine.

Sofia has experience in this area as she previously collaborated with Los Angeles-based brand Frankies Bikinis to create a 10-piece line of ’90s-inspired swimwear last year.

After the release of her own bikini line, Sofia then plans to expand her business to include a fashion collection and a beauty company – which will focus on hair and body, rather than make-up, while also launching a YouTube channel and an acting career.

“It’s time to start hustling,” the model said of her plans. “2020 is about no fear, and I’m doing things that would usually make me very uncomfortable.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sofia, who has appeared in campaigns for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, and Chanel, explained how modelling fell into her lap because of her famous father, Lionel Richie. However, she soon realised she wanted more from her career.

“A lot of people just become models because they’re influencers,” she shared. “We would all get the same jobs, be in the same space, and be labelled the same thing, and I hated it. It made me step back and be like, ‘O.K., I’m a creative individual and I want to be smart, start my own businesses, do something I can do on my own, and not be attached to other people.'”

Sofia Richie has credited meditation and Reiki for helping her overcome her “zero-to-a-hundred panic attacks”.

For the April 2020 issue of U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine, the model/social media influencer opened up on the topic of mental health, noting that she has long suffered from “severe anxiety”.

But while doctors advised her to try prescription drugs, she refused, and instead opted to begin investigating other ways she could help herself without medication.

“I read a lot of books, and once I figured out what I was doing to myself, I learned how to control it,” the 21-year-old explained. “I would convince myself that I was panicking or that I wasn’t comfortable, and once I realised that I was doing that to myself and nothing was actually wrong with me, I was totally fine.”

Accordingly, Sofia has found practicing meditation and meeting with a Reiki expert to be very beneficial for her wellbeing. Reiki is an alternative therapy that involves the passing of energy from the practitioner to the patient via their palms.

Although the star, who is dating TV personality Scott Disick, still occasionally has that “oh my God, I’m about to freak out” feeling, prompted by “stupid things, like not having a water bottle in the car or getting stuck in traffic”, she now has the tools to help keep herself from spiralling.

“I know how to be like, Calm down, you’re here. There’s nothing to panic about,” she added.

Elsewhere in the chat, Sofia shared how she is hoping to continue bringing awareness to mental health issues while also pursuing her dreams of breaking into Hollywood as an actress.

Paris Hilton has never been tempted to undergo cosmetic surgery.

The socialite-turned-businesswoman is proud of her all-natural appearance and credits advice from her mother Kathy Hilton for helping her to maintain her youthful looks.

When asked how old she feels in an interview with U.K. Cosmopolitan magazine, she replied, “21 forever… And I’m all-natural. I feel so lucky that my mum always told me to stay out of the sun. I feel lucky I haven’t had to resort to what most people do in this town (Los Angeles).”

Although the 39-year-old doesn’t think too much about ageing, she told the outlet that she wants to find a way to live forever.

“I’m trying to figure out a way – freezing myself or inventing the fountain-of-youth pill – so people could live forever, like that movie Death Becomes Her,” the reality star shared, referencing the 1992 movie featuring Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep as women who become immortal when they drink a miracle cure which prevents ageing.

Elsewhere in the interview, Paris insisted she helped make “Juicy Couture, Dior and Louis Vuitton monograms, camouflage print, (and) Swarovski crystals” trendy, and said she is always thrilled to see others wearing replicas of the silver chainmail Julien Macdonald dress she wore for her 21st birthday.

“I love seeing that look. I think every girl should wear that on their birthday. I think it’s the birthday dress now. I love seeing it come to life again on different people. My sister once wore it for Halloween,” she commented, adding that her and The Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie always get a kick of seeing people wear Halloween costumes inspired by their 2000s reality show. “We laugh about it. All the costumes last Halloween were people dressing up as us, so we were sending each other photos of different outfits people were wearing.”

Christie Brinkley feels less daunted by the ageing process because she’s “loving the skin” she’s in.

The model, who turned 66 on Sunday and celebrated her birthday by being ringmaster at the Big Apple Circus in New York, reflected on the past 12 months and the ageing process in a lengthy Instagram post accompanied by photo highlights of her achievements.

“My whole past year has been filled with so many incredible milestones! From reprising my role as Roxie Hart on Broadway! And headlining the show in Las Vegas!” Christie wrote, noting her impressive return to the musical Chicago 10 years after making her debut.

She went on to include her brief stint on Dancing with the Stars and sitcom The Goldbergs as some of her memorable highlights from 2019, and sweetly added that “watching my children’s careers and passions blossom” was one of her greatest achievements.

“I can’t wait to see what exciting #milestonesofme await for 2020!” Christie concluded. “With age comes wisdom and confidence which I find to be liberating! I also know I feel my best when I look as good as I feel… Ageing seems much less daunting when I’m loving the skin I’m in.”

Last month, Christie shared a body positivity message when she posted her Cosmopolitan magazine cover from back in 1977 on Instagram and confessed that she originally thought she looked fat in the untouched photo.

“I look back at these and think that worry was such a waste of time. If only the perspective we gain with age that elevates the worries could be absorbed by the younger generation,” she mused.

Lucy Hale struggled with reactions to her changing body while playing a high school student on the hit show Pretty Little Liars.

The 30-year-old is best known for playing Aria Montgomery on the U.S. teen drama series from 2010 to 2017, during which time her body changed, and Lucy has confessed that she struggled with the negative reaction on social media to her slight weight gain.

“Looking back on it now, it’s like, Oh, that was really tough. You did feel like you had to uphold some sort of image,” Lucy explained to U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine. “I’ve always been very petite, but over the course of eight years, my body changed. I gained a little bit of weight, and seeing how people reacted to that really messed with my head.”

And as the show became more popular, her low confidence took a further hit when she began getting breakouts.

“I started getting all these stress-related, hormone-related breakouts. They had this specialty light for me,” she recalled.

Now, Lucy shared her regret at the time she’s spent worrying over her looks, especially as it was out of her control.

“I look back and I think of all the minutes and hours I’ve wasted upset over how I looked or something that was out of my control,” she shared. “I wish I could get that time back, although it has led me to where I’m at now.”

The Katy Keene star celebrated the return of her confidence when she hit 30 by chopping her brunette hair into a chic shoulder-length bob.

“It feels nice to just not give a f**k about certain things,” she said of her decision. “It was the most liberating thing I’ve ever done.”

Lucy Hale is undergoing laser surgery to remove six of her old tattoos.

The 30-year-old has been adding to her collection of body art consistently over the years and has a bunch of around 14 small and delicate tattoos on her body, mostly in places that can be hidden by clothing.

However, in a cover interview for U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine, Lucy revealed she was in the process of having six tattoos removed, including ones that depict an elephant, a light bulb, and a Bible verse.

“I got it done out of the country and it was not done well,” the Pretty Little Liars star said of the elephant design, before adding that she was “over” the light bulb.

Regarding the Bible verse on her rib cage, she noted, “I’m not religious by any means at all anymore”, and explained how the “thick” font isn’t in keeping with the single needle art she has on the rest of her body.

However, there are several pieces of body art that Lucy has decided to keep, including “I love you” written in her grandmother’s handwriting on her arm, an evil eye, and a quote from the Instagram poet Atticus which reads, “Love her but leave her wild.”

In an interview with Refinery29 last July, the brunette beauty explained that she was removing some tattoos due to their outdated style.

“It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just the style of them is so different now,” she shared. “I got them when I was like 17. Things are different, times have changed. I love a lot of mine, it’s just like (I) look back on some, and I’m like, ‘What was I thinking?”

Lena Dunham: ‘I like the way I look’

Lena Dunham loves looking at herself in the mirror because she’s proud of the way she looks.

The Girls creator and star was happy with her body in her early 20s, but when she shot to fame due to the huge success of her hit HBO show, she found her figure cruelly scrutinised.

“It’s interesting how numb you become to it. I remember when I was 22 looking in the mirror and thinking, ‘I’m just gorgeous! Look at me! What a babe!'” she told Cosmopolitan U.K. magazine. “And then my career happened, life happened, and instead of growing as it should, that feeling dwindled and I started to look in the mirror and see my pain on the inside rather than beauty on the outside.”

After undergoing a hysterectomy in 2017 to alleviate her severe endometriosis, Lena is accepting of the struggles she’s had with her body.

“It’s funny, I’m probably the heaviest now that I’ve ever been in my entire life, and I’ve been through so much physically, but I look more like when I was 22 than at any other point because I can feel the peace inside me,” she explained. “Sometimes I’ll even find – and you’re not allowed to say this as a woman – that I’ll be sitting there staring in the mirror for two minutes because I like the way I look. I look at myself and think, ‘Woah, I just got lost looking into my own eyes.'”

Lena also recalled an incident that occurred after she had appeared on the cover of U.S. Vogue in 2014, revealing that editors at U.S. gossip website Jezebel were offering $10,000 (£7,600) to anyone who could obtain untouched images of the shoot.

“And people sent them in, and they were comparing the retouched and unretouched images. I remember thinking, ‘You want to basically prove this image of me that I’m so proud of isn’t real?'” she fired.

Bebe Rexha was once pressured to “starve” herself by industry bosses prior to shooting a music video.

The Meant to Be singer is a vocal advocate for body positivity, having encountered a number of instances of size discrimination since launching her career in 2013.

However, in a new interview with Cosmopolitan U.K. magazine, Bebe made a point of speaking out about one instance in which she claimed an executive urged her to lose weight.

“When I first got signed, the label said, ‘Are you ready to get in boot camp shape?’ They wanted me to lose 20 pounds (nine kilograms). Back then I was so small, I was only 130 pounds (58 kilograms),” she recalled. “It f**ked me up. I was so cold all the time. I would starve myself before filming a music video.”

Bebe went on to mention a female creative director who insisted she hit the gym twice a day too.

“She’d sit opposite me at the dinner table and say, ‘You’re not losing enough.’ All I was eating was salad,” the 30-year-old remembered.

At present, Bebe is very comfortable with her U.S. size 6 figure (U.K. 10), and in June, took the opportunity to reject mean comments social media users were making about her size.

“I don’t give a two s**ts about what people think about my weight. I care about what I think about my weight,” the star posted. “To all the people tweeting mean things to me about my weight you just want a response and you will not get it.

“The hate you breed that stems from Insecurity don’t look pretty on you.”

Jordyn Woods debuts new tattoo after Tristan Thompson drama

Jordyn Woods has debuted a new tattoo which seemingly references the tough times she faced in the wake of the Tristan Thompson scandal.

The 21-year-old model unveiled the ink on her forearm while attending the recent UOMA Beauty Summer House party in Los Angeles, and later showed it off again at the premiere of 47 Meters Down: Uncaged on Tuesday night.

Inked in a fine cursive script, the tattoo reads, “What’s meant for me will never miss me.”

The words refer to an excerpt from a quote by Arab Muslim writer Al-Shafi’i, who lived from 767 to 820 AD.

The full passage is: “My heart is at ease knowing that what was meant for me will never miss me, and that what misses me was never meant for me.”

Last week, Woods was spotted leaving a private tattoo studio in Los Angeles with a fresh bandage on her arm. The new body art was reportedly done by her brother John Woods.

The same day, she took to her Instagram Stories to tease fans about her tattoo and tagged her sibling in the now-expired video.

It’s not clear what inspired Woods to choose the empowering words, but it comes six months after her alleged tryst with Khloe Kardashian’s basketball player boyfriend, with whom she shares 16-month-old daughter True.

Thompson reportedly kissed the model after a house party back in February, and while Woods denied anything else happened with the 28-year-old sportsman, she was instantly ousted from the Kardashian-Jenner family’s inner circle and forced to move out of her former best friend Kylie Jenner’s house.

However, she’s hopeful that they will reconnect in the future.

“I hope everything falls into place and that we can all grow and build our relationships with our family and God. And come back together one day and be stronger and happier,” the TV personality told Cosmopolitan U.K. in an interview for the September issue.
