Kate Hudson has finally “mastered” the art of at-home hair removal.
The Almost Famous actress recently joined her older brother Oliver Hudson for a chat on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and during the interview, the siblings candidly opened up on their grooming regimes.
When one viewer asked if Oliver “still waxes his junk”, the 43-year-old joked that he’s switched over to shaving.
“No, I haven’t done that in a long time, but I do shave and I put a razor on it,” the Rules of Engagement star shared. “And by the way, it is not as bad as people might think. It’s clean. It’s pretty. It’s good.”
Kate then decided to divulge her own hair removal regime and confessed she is now an expert at waxing.
“I wax myself! I can wax myself. I’ve mastered it,” the 41-year-old stated, prompting host Andy to ask if she enjoyed the process.
To which she replied: “It’s not about enjoying it. I enjoy the aftermath of it!”
The mother-of-three also shared how the ongoing coronavirus lockdown has improved her relationship with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.
When Andy asked if self-isolating at home with the musician has been good for their sex life, Kate coyly replied, “Yes,” as she took a sip from her wine glass.
She continued: “I think it’s even more than that. I think it’s positive for knowing that I’m with the right person. There’s nobody else I’d want to be quarantined with right now. He’s just the best.”

Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, and her baby daughter Rani Rose have been tapped to star on the cover of People magazine’s annual The Beautiful Issue.
The famous mother-and-daughter duo wore white for the ethereal photoshoot, and in the accompanying interview, they discussed how they’re tackling the current restrictions while in lockdown in Los Angeles.
“It’s definitely an interesting time for reflecting on what is truly important,” the 41-year-old actress told the outlet, as she practices social distancing and self-isolation at home with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa, and her sons Ryder, 16, and eight-year-old Bing.
And Goldie credits focusing on “meditation, nurturing, loving kindness for all in my heart and staying safe inside” as she stays at home with her partner of 37 years, Kurt Russell.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kate revealed how her mother had taught her how to be confident from a young age, and gave her the tools to have faith in her decisions.
“My mom gave me the floor to be able to feel confident enough to go out and feel like my life could be my own,” the Almost Famous star explained. “Mom was my greatest cheerleader. And it just made me think about Rani… going, ‘I hope I give her that kind of confidence,’ you know?”
And she’s thankful for the 74-year-old Hollywood icon for giving her good advice, and encouraging her how to succeed on her own.
“Mom always said to me, ‘Don’t you ever let a man dim your light,'” Kate recalled. “So, I’ve never defined myself through the way a man sees me, but I can define myself in the unit that we can create together. That is what mom gave to me.”

Kate Hudson has enlisted the help of her son Ryder Robinson and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa to launch her new menswear collection for Fabletics.
The 40-year-old revealed the news that her activewear brand is branching into menswear in a sweet Instagram post, alongside a snap of her being cuddled by Danny and her 16-year-old son, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
“Today it’s all about my boys,” Kate wrote. “Exciting news: @Fabletics MEN is here! Which means the guys in your life can now become VIPs too – but spots are LIMITED! The first 5,000 guys to sign up get early access…so tell all the men in your life!!”
The new line, which features T-shirts, vests, shorts, hoodies and joggers, as well as two-piece workout kits, is priced from $34.95 to $59.95 (£27 – £46). Items are now available to purchase online.
Kate launched her affordable activewear subscription service with Just Fab back in 2013, and has collaborated with Kelly Rowland, Maddie Ziegler, and her mother, Goldie Hawn.
Musician Danny shared his enthusiasm for the garments in a tongue-in-cheek video posted on Instagram too. The clip shows him unboxing the goodies in the style of an influencer.
“Hey guys, I’m really excited. I just got in the new collection,” the 33-year-old, who shares daughter Rani Rose with the Almost Famous star, began the clip. “I’m wearing this… this is a hoodie, the new hoodie. It’s so nice. It feels so good.”
“This is a shirt. It’s so nice,” he joked, as Kate can be heard laughing in the background.

Kate Hudson “took a bit longer” to lose the baby weight after welcoming her daughter Rani Rose.
The actress gave birth to the tot – her first child with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa – in October 2018.
In a new interview with People, Kate opened up about her life with three children and noted that she decided to adopt a different method when it was time to get back into shape.
“This one took a little bit longer. It was like 12 months, but I did it differently,” Kate, who is also mother to sons Ryder, 15, and eight-year-old Bingham, stated.
The Almost Famous star went on to explain that she chose to follow a plan by WW, formally known as Weight Watchers, in a bid to lose the weight. And the regime really worked for her.
“It was a smarter way to take (the) weight off, because it stays off,” the 40-year-old commented. “I think the wonderful thing about what that is, is you can eat what you want, you just have to be conscious. It teaches you about food.”
The WW ambassador took six months to lose weight after having her son Bing and added that her approach to food is now very similar to how her parents – Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell – raised her.
“I really understand food,” she shared. “I understand what I’m putting in my body, I grew up like that. My parents are who taught me about that. But there’s a lot of people out there who don’t have that relationship to food.”

Kate Hudson’s post-baby weight loss journey was tougher with her third child in comparison to her other two.
The Almost Famous actress welcomed daughter Rani Rose with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa in October 2018, and the following month, she announced she wanted to lose 25 pounds before she filmed a movie in the spring.
Kate, an ambassador for WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers, kept her Instagram followers up to date about her weight loss journey and celebrated achieving her goal.
In a new cover interview with Women’s Health magazine, the star revealed that dropping the pregnancy weight was a longer, tougher process in comparison to her experience following the birth of her sons Ryder, 15, and Bingham, eight.
“Unlike with the other two, I didn’t really have time to work out… It took a different kind of discipline,” she confessed to the publication, admitting the aim to get fit while running her businesses and looking after her family didn’t go “as planned”.
Because Kate didn’t have as much time to hit the gym, the 40-year-old relied on stricter eating habits using the WW points system. And the commitment paid off, as she now feels “good, energetic, and strong”.
Goldie Hawn’s daughter now eats around five times a day and fits in workouts three to four times a week. She prefers to mix up her exercise regime to alternate between running on the treadmill, pole dancing, hot yoga, and Pilates.
However, Pilates is always her go-to class, as she explained: “I love how flexible I get and what it does to the shape of my body.”
Kate shows off her enviable abs and lean figure in a variety of athleisure outfits for the accompanying photoshoot.

Kate Hudson’s boyfriend Danny Fujikawa chose the name for her new fashion venture.
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress is no stranger to the clothing industry, having launched activewear line Fabletics in partnership with JustFab in 2013 and worked with New York & Company as an ambassador for the clothing brand’s Soho Jeans collection.
In March, Kate also announced she was gearing up to unveil the Happy x Nature line, featuring organic and recycled fabrics, and in a new interview with The Telegraph, she credited her musician beau with dreaming up the name of the label.
‘He said, ‘That’s what people think you are, happy by nature,”‘ she recalled. “And I understand why people would associate me with that idea. The reality is that contentment is a discipline. Happiness is something that we cultivate. But I like the idea that nature can make us happy and can bring us joy. It works on lots of levels.”
The Happy x Nature collection is comprised of floral printed dresses, denim garments, boho-chic dresses, and T-shirts. Kate and the design team are endeavouring for the line to be as eco-aware as possible, right down to the fabric tags and biodegradable bags, as promoting sustainability is very important to the star.
“I love fashion and I always have, but the more you get involved in it, the more you see how irresponsible the industry has been with waste. We’ve spent so long thinking that ‘more’ means more luxurious, when we need to start thinking that simplicity is more beautiful. It’s time to start being more responsible,” the 40-year-old commented.
Elsewhere in the chat, Kate shared that she had named one item in the range – a strapless, tiered dress, after her mother – Hollywood icon Goldie Hawn.

Kate Hudson has no regrets over posing nude for a past photoshoot because she “likes being naked”.
In an interview to celebrate the 25th anniversary of U.S. InStyle magazine, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress reflected on her eight covers for the publication.
Kate focused on the time she stripped off for her controversial 2001 cover and discussed how the criticism didn’t affect her, even when the magazine was banned from some stores.
“Whatever, we sold a whole bunch of them,” she quipped. “To be honest, it doesn’t take a lot for me to take my clothes off. People can say whatever they want, but I like being naked. Always have!
“I was newly married (to her now ex-husband Chris Robinson), and my whole career had just shot up after (2000 film) Almost Famous came out. I posed naked for the cover, and I was strategically draped with what was basically chain mail. The stylist had a very hard job!”
Kate went on to note that photoshoots in the early 2000s were much more relaxed.
“That time in my life was so much fun. There were no cell phones or social media or ‘content’. It was way more intimate and special,” the 40-year-old mused.
She also spoke about her 2003 cover, in which she was expecting her first child, son Ryder, and recalled how she refused to give up stilettos and told editors that she hoped to be “fashionably pregnant”.
Since then, she’s welcomed son Bingham, eight, with ex-fiance Matt Bellamy, and 10-month-old daughter Rani Rose, with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa.
“I was 24 and back then I really didn’t give up my high heels. But 15 years later, during this last pregnancy, I sure did,” she laughed.

Kate Hudson has celebrated reaching a major milestone in her post-baby weight loss journey.
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress welcomed daughter Rani Rose with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa last October (18), a sibling for her sons Ryder, 15, and Bingham, seven, from previous relationships.
Since having her third child, Kate has been open about her goal of losing 25 pounds (11 kilograms) before she starts work on a new movie in the spring, and as a WW (formerly Weight Watchers) ambassador, she is abiding by the health company’s points plan.
“Okay my friends, wanted to share! I’m a couple lbs from goal weight! I’ve done it without stressing on food or working out like crazy although I have been disciplined,” she captioned a mirror selfie in which she shows off her athletic figure on her Instagram page on Thursday (18Apr19). “I’ve taken my time, I’ve stayed true to my @ww app which I am so grateful for our relationship and that they included me in their family because it’s an incredible set up. Easy as pie! And I can eat pie… except it’s anywhere from 9-22 points which is not the best move… I personally go for the 5 point wine or vodka martini for a treat.”
But while Kate has found success by abiding by her WW plans, she also made a point of thanking those who have supported her, including her team at her athleisure clothing company Fabletics, which she co-founded in 2013.
“I feel lucky that my other work life (when my entrepreneur hat is on) is surrounded by the most inspiring people. To every single person in the @fabletics community and every person in the @ww community, you keep me focused and encouraged,” the 39-year-old continued. “I thank you! Yes, active lifestyle I find enjoyable and yes, understanding food is a passion of mine but it doesn’t mean that I don’t need the support like everyone else. Sharing the little parts of my wellness journey with you makes me feel oh so good. I can only hope that what I put out there can make you feel good and bring encouragement in return. Love, Kate.”
Kate’s next project is fantasy film Blood Moon, which is to be directed by Ana Lily Amirpour and will also feature Zac Efron.

New mum Kate Hudson has been named diet firm WeightWatchers’ new ambassador.
The 39-year-old actress announced the news on Sunday (16Dec18), just weeks after revealing her post-baby work-out look as she set herself the goal of losing 25 pounds (11.3 kilograms) before she starts work on a new movie in the spring (19).
Hudson welcomed her third child, Rani Rose, with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa two months ago (Oct18).
“It came at a perfect time for me, because at this point after having three babies it’s like sense memory,” she tells People. “You want to start getting back into shape and to get strong again and focus on your own personal health. It’s hard when you have babies. Everyone comes before you, and you have to find that time to just focus in on yourself.”
Announcing her plans to get trim at the end of last month (Nov18), the Almost Famous star wrote: “So… here we go! The routine with our baby is getting more familiar and I’m ready to start taking a little time in the day focusing on myself. For me, that means my health. Why? Because I wanna be around a long time for these three kiddos of mine.”
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days actress continued: “Let’s be honest, kids take the number one position and it’s haaaaard to make the time for yourself. I’ve been doing a lot of research and I’ve spent my lifetime trying all kinds of new things that are focused on health and wellness. Because I am on a mission right now to get back to my fighting weight and my strong body/mind back I want to bring you in on some of this journey.
“MY GOAL: I will be shooting a film in the spring and I’m looking to shed 25lbs. I’d like to try new workouts and eat as healthy as I can. I wanna do all this and keep up milk production, raise my kids, work every day, make time for my man, have girlfriend time and stay sane! I know that this sounds more like a new year resolution but after Thanksgiving and everyone thanking their health, I feel motivated to keep that up.”

Kate Hudson is set to star in upcoming fantasy film Blood Moon.
The actress, who welcomed a daughter named Rani Rose with her boyfriend Danny Fujikawa earlier this month (Oct18), has signed on for a leading role in the movie, according to editors at Deadline.
To be helmed by writer-director Ana Lily Amirpour, Blood Moon will tell the story of a girl with unusual powers who escapes from a mental asylum and tries to make it on her own in New Orleans.
Actor Craig Robinson, perhaps best known for his role as Darryl Philbin in the U.S. version of The Office, has been cast in the flick as well, and Zac Efron is in talks for an undisclosed part.
No other casting details have been announced, though production is due to begin in spring 2019 – giving Kate time to complete her maternity leave.
John Lesher, who won an Oscar for his role in making 2014 movie Birdman, is onboard to produce Blood Moon and has praised Los Angeles-based filmmaker Lily’s concept.
“Lily’s unique vision and poetic style sets her apart from the pack,” he told Deadline. “She is truly one of the most exciting filmmakers working today.”
Lily made her feature debut with drama-horror A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night in 2014 and has since directed episodes of TV shows such as Legion and Castle Rock.
Meanwhile, Kate was last seen onscreen as Eleanor Strubing in biographical drama Marshall. The star, who is also mother to sons Ryder, 14, and seven-year-old Bing from previous relationships, will appear in singer Sia’s forthcoming movie Music too, which details the story of a sober drug dealer and their disabled sister.
And Zac is currently in the post-production phases of Matthew McConaughey comedy The Beach Bum as well as Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, a biographical film about the crimes of serial killer Ted Bundy.
