Eva Longoria has dyed her own hair at home for a brand-new L’Oreal Paris commercial.

The Desperate Housewives actress made a splash on Instagram last week when she demonstrated to her seven million followers how she uses the brand’s Magic Root Cover Up to conceal her silver strands while she can’t visit her usual hairdresser during the coronavirus lockdown.

However, Eva has since decided to permanently dye her locks with L’Oreal Paris’ Excellence Creme products, and filmed the process of her doing so at home on her smartphone for an original ad campaign.

“When my L’Oreal family approached me to do this campaign, I was excited to direct this first of its kind commercial. It’s a challenging time for everyone right now as we try and juggle all of our responsibilities and the needs of our loved ones, but it’s also important to remember to take care of ourselves,” the star, who has served as a L’Oreal spokesperson since 2005, commented. “In this commercial, viewers can see how easy it is to get expert results and the confidence boost they deserve while at home. Self-care is self-worth and now, more than ever, we are all worth it!”

The clip shows Eva explaining how she applies the at-home dye product, before allowing it to process and then rinsing in the shower. She then conditions her locks before blow-drying with a hairdryer.

“No more greys! I’m so happy!” she exclaimed at the end.

And Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, global brand president of L’Oreal Paris, noted that she couldn’t be more thrilled with how the concept turned out.

“Just as many of us are working from home, so too is our spokesperson Eva Longoria, who has created this advertising campaign for our star hair colour range Excellence Creme from her home. The Covid-19 crisis hasn’t stopped L’Oréal Paris from imagining new ways to create original forms of connection with our consumers, who are looking to maintain their self-worth during confinement,” she insisted.

Eva Longoria has found directing to be very challenging.

The Desperate Housewives actress, who first tried her hand at directing with episodes of TV shows such as Black-ish and Jane the Virgin, is making her feature film directorial debut with the comedy 24-7, which she will follow up with biopic Flamin’ Hot.

Longoria has found directing to be difficult, so to aid the process, she has surrounded herself by the best possible crew.

“Directing is a challenge — period,” Longoria told Yahoo Entertainment. “You have to be prepared no matter who you are, male or female… there are so many obstacles women face — second-guessing and sexism still persists… you just got to hire the right people to surround yourself with. I’ve had amazing experiences with (directors of photography) and crews supporting me. But I know that’s not universal. And I’ve heard those horror stories.”

Flamin’ Hot is a biopic about Richard Montanez, a Mexican immigrant and former janitor at Frito-Lay who invented the spicy Cheetos flavour and worked his way up the business.

The 44-year-old explained that she wanted to direct the project because it is important for her to represent the Latinx community onscreen.

“I got the job because I was prepared and I was authentic with my point of view,” she continued. “Richard Montanez’s story is my story. And it’s many people’s stories. When people say, ‘…you know, people who look like you won’t get the shot,’ that’s when you try harder. I really loved that aspect of it. And I think they respected my point of view and how I wanted to make the movie.”

Longoria is also producing and starring in 24-7 alongside Kerry Washington. It follows a group of accountants who band together to solve a fraud case.

Mark Wahlberg has stunned fans by showing off his physical transformation after six months of fitness training.

The Transformers: Age of Extinction actor took to Instagram to debut his new hard body, showing off a perfect, muscle-laden gladiator physique.

“Six months of Performance Inspired Nutrition, Aquahydrate, and F45 training!! Clean eating. Inspired to be better, team training / life changing,” the 48-year-old wrote in the caption attached to a shirtless picture of himself wearing a gold cross necklace.

Mark took part in high-intensity group workout classes at F45 Training centres, which also boast other celebrity clients like J Balvin and Teri Hatcher, to boost his body. Earlier this year, it was revealed the actor had invested in the fitness franchise, which was founded in Australia in 2012.

He also relied on products from his own health supplement company, Performance Inspired Nutrition, and the electrolyte-infused water brand AQUAhydrate, which he co-founded with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, to help with his dietary needs during the six-month health and fitness bender.

Mark is well-known for his intense commitment to working out and looking good, grabbing headlines last year for an extreme daily schedule that involved him waking up before 4am to spend time in a cryotherapy chamber before exercising for hours.

Desperate Housewives star Teri also recently shared the stunning results of her eight-week challenge with the F45 program, and shared unretouched photos of herself in a bikini on social media to show her fans and followers.

She said she chose to follow the regime “not to lose weight but to be healthy and feel better and to lift weights and get stronger.”

Teri Hatcher feels better than ever at the age of 55 as she’s “finally figured out how to be comfortable in my own skin”.

The Desperate Housewives star took to Instagram earlier this week to show off her taut physique, after taking part in an eight-week fitness programme ahead of her 55th birthday.

“Exercise has become a source of wellbeing, not a means to look good naked,” she captioned the filter-free bikini shots. “This is my truth and being in this 55-year-old body actually feels liberating. I’ve finally figured out how to be comfortable in my own skin.”

Teri went to explain that she still has her struggles with body confidence, but insisted she is grateful for her health as she gets older.

“Age allows you to be clear on your purpose and cherish who and what you are grateful for,” the mother-of-one added. “You have enough age to see the miracle of life and enough youth to revel in that knowledge. You can be vulnerable and strong at the same time. You can forgive others and yourself.”

And while the actress noted that she might not ever wear a bikini again, she wants her body positivity journey to help others who are struggling to find their confidence.

“Mostly, you know to make the most of every moment. For me, that is sharing joy, positivity, (and the) knowledge I’ve gained through experience both successes and failures, and helping to lift others up,” she wrote. “Sharing myself in a bikini (which I may or may not ever wear again) is me. Being open to others, open to life.”

Concluding her empowering post, the Golden Globe winner urged her followers to “be strong enough to be vulnerable”.

Martha Stewart has slammed Felicity Huffman’s prison uniform in a scathing rant.

The Desperate Housewives star was photographed in a dark green prison jumpsuit and white baseball cap while serving her 14-day prison sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California on Saturday.

Huffman’s husband William H. Macy and their 17-year-old daughter Georgia were visiting the actress, who began her time on 15 October after pleading guilty to charges in the U.S. college admissions scandal.

But Stewart, who famously served time behind bars in 2004 after being convicted of multiple felonies, has now shared how disappointed she is with the 56-year-old’s prison ensemble.

“She should style her outfit a little bit more,” the lifestyle guru said during a discussion at Vanity Fair’s New Establishment Summit in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. “She looked pretty schlumpy.”

“She made a horrible mistake, and she’s experiencing what happens,” Stewart added.

Huffman was also sentenced to 250 community service hours and a $30,000 (£23,000) fine. She will be released on 29 October.

Stewart, 78, became famous after she launched her company in 1982 and became America’s first female self-made billionaire when Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia went public in 1999.

However, in 2001, Stewart was convicted of obstruction of justice, making false statements and conspiracy for lying to investigators, and served five months in prison following a high-profile trial three years later. Her empire is currently worth more than $600 million (£491 million).

Teri Hatcher has been named as the global ambassador for New Nordic’s latest hair product.

The Desperate Housewives actress is no stranger to starring in beauty campaigns, having fronted the marketing imagery for Clairol’s Nice ‘N Easy hair colour back in the mid-2000s.

Now, Teri is back in the game, with bosses at the New Nordic supplement brand tapping her to promote the Hair Volume formula.

“I’m very excited to come on board as an ambassador for New Nordic Hair Volume. It fits perfectly with my ethos that living positively and healthily are catalysts for healthy behaviour,” she said in a statement. “Of course, I’m not a doctor or hair expert, but I think everyone should make sure they get the right nutrients to suit their needs. I’ve never been blessed with amazing hair – it’s been through a lot of stages over the years, and it’s now finding its balance.”

The New Nordic Hair Volume tablets are a natural food supplement formulated to help maintain healthy hair growth, strength and volume, whilst also providing natural nutrients for hair, nails and skin.

They are based on a unique Swedish apple and millet formula with amino acids, silica and vitamin, with Teri adamant she has already noticed a difference in her signature brunette locks.

“I’ve been taking the product daily for just six weeks and although it seems a short amount of time to see a difference, I actually think I do. It just really does feel like it’s stronger. I also think the mindfulness of remembering to take it once a day might be trickling down to my other self-care,” the 54-year-old shared.

New Nordic Hair Volume tablets are available in different size packs, with 30 tablets priced at $32 (£24.95).

And New Nordic chief executive officer and founder Karl Kristian Bergman Jensen is thrilled to be working with Teri on the launch.

“We are absolutely delighted to have Teri on board. She shares our core principles that natural health and wellness can give us all a great quality of life and help to achieve genuine happiness. She will be a fabulous asset and we look forward to a successful partnership together,” he added.

Eva Longoria can’t wait to watch her latest movie with her baby boy Santiago.

The actress plays the mother of Dora the Explorer (Isabela Moner) in new film Dora and the Lost City of Gold, the live-action adaption of the hit children’s TV show.

Eva, who starred in Desperate Housewives as the sultry Gabrielle Solis for eight seasons, spoke to Extra about the feature at the 2019 CinemaCon at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Thursday (04Apr19) in Las Vegas, explaining that she’s excited for her nine-month-old son Santi, who she shares with husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston, to see something she’s in.

“Santi can watch, I’m not in lingerie,” she laughed, adding, “I’d never let him watch Desperate Housewives.”

And her baby isn’t the only one who’s excited about the movie version.

“When it was announced, all my friends, Serena Williams texted me, Victoria (Beckham) texted me, everyone was like, ‘Oh, my gosh!’ It was such a global thing. I thought it was a Latina thing. Everybody knows her,” the 44-year-old explained. “To play her mother and to bring this animated, one-dimensional character to life was exhilarating and thrilling.”

In the movie, Dora is forced to attend a traditional high school. She later enlists the help of her best friend Boots (voiced by Danny Trejo), her cousin Diego (Jeffrey Wahlberg) and other teens to save her mother and father, as played by Michael Pena, and solve a mystery about a lost Inca civilisation. Eugenio Derbez, Benicio del Toro, Temuera Morrison, and Pia Miller round out the cast.

Eva, who started working on the movie soon after giving birth to her first child, also joked that her fans may not recognise her.

“Santi was six weeks old, so I am about 20 pounds (nine kilograms) heavier,” she insisted. “It’s coming back little by little… I was working so hard I injured my shoulder, so I had to stop a little bit, but I’m going back.”

Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan is launching an organic skincare line after realising many products she was using were not that good for her.

The ageless 55 year old admits she started becoming concerned about the face creams and makeup she was using on her skin when she took note of the ingredients, and decided to investigate.

“I have always been very health conscious and so in my quest to always live a healthier, more sustainable life, I would search for beauty products that would be healthy and good for you,” she tells Access Live. “It’s really hard to find. So, I decided to create my own.

“It’s an organic line and we have moisturiser and eye serum right now, and it’s gonna run the spectrum of deodorants, toothpaste – everything organic, and truly organic. (There will) be nothing hidden in there that’s bad for you.

“Biolumiere Organics is going to be up on my website… and people can access it and read all about it. I’m really excited it.”

The launch comes as Nicollette prepares to step down from her role on revamped TV drama Dynasty to look after her dying mum, who is battling Stage 4 cancer.

The actress will make her final appearance as drama queen Alexis Carrington on the show on Friday (22Mar19) and on Monday, she publicly thanks the series’ bosses and fans for supporting her decision to put family first.

“I’m really grateful to… everybody who understands why I left the show,” she told Access Live. “(I have) a great following and thank you for being there and I’ll be back.”

Eva Longoria has showcased her slim post-body baby in a swimsuit while doing a victory dance – eight months after giving birth to son Santiago.

The former Desperate Housewives star was on a weekend break with a group of friends including Prison Break actor Amaury Nolasco when she showed off her moves as she celebrated winning a game of backgammon against the screen star. In the footage, posted on Eva’s Instagram Stories, the 43-year-old actress displayed her enviable curves as she danced around in a strapless one-piece swimsuit – giggling and laughing throughout. And while fans are sure to be jealous of her dance skills, it was Eva’s noticeably trimmer figure that really caught the eye.

The actress gave birth to Santiago, her first child with businessman husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston, last June (18) – just a month after the couple’s two-year wedding anniversary. And following the baby’s arrival, Eva vowed not to stress about slimming down post-pregnancy.

“I really gave my body time to adjust to postpartum and post-pregnancy. You know, it had a baby!” she told Oprah magazine in December. “It created a human life, so I really wasn’t too hard (on myself) about getting back into shape.”

Her pre-baby workouts focused mainly on running, yoga and Pilates. But to shed the baby weight, she added “serious weight training” into the mix.

“I’m working out a lot more and watching what I eat. I’m barely starting to get back into it,” she said at the time. “My workouts now are very serious weight training.”

Eva has always been honest about her changing shape, and found a hilarious way to respond to fake pregnancy rumours which surrounded her in April 2017, months before she really conceived.

“So, I saw some pictures of myself. Really fat, on a boat. I have to tell you all I did was eat cheese. I ate cheese!” she wrote on Snapchat. “And everybody’s saying I’m pregnant and I’m not. I was just lactose intolerant apparently.”

Eva Longoria isn’t succumbing to Hollywood pressure to fit back into her old clothes after welcoming her first child in June (18).

Eva and husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston are proud parents to baby son Santiago, and the 43-year-old has been enjoying every moment of getting to know her tot – and has not been worrying about slimming down post-pregnancy.

“Well, I don’t really succumb to any pressures outside of myself, but I really gave my body time to heal and just embrace… I was breastfeeding and just enjoying postpartum and basking in his energy and this beautiful life I created, and so I was very forgiving to my body because it created a human!” Eva told Extra.

Eva has proudly been showing off her slightly fuller figure on the red carpet in recent weeks as she gets back to work.

Revealing that she’s slowly easing herself back into a fitness regime, the Desperate Housewives star insisted she’s not pushing her body too hard at this stage.

“It’s just now I’m starting to get back to working out and dieting… but not even hardcore, just like, you know what? Let’s start… let’s start to do some movements, see what happens,” she shared.

Eva has always been real about her body, and found a hilarious way to respond to fake pregnancy rumours which surrounded her in April 2017, months before she really conceived.
