Nina Dobrev is Dior Beauty’s latest muse.

The self-confessed beauty junkie is a huge fan of the luxe brand, and joins the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Cara Delevingne, Marion Cotillard, and Charlize Theron in serving as a brand ambassador for the French fashion house’s perfume, cosmetics, and skincare lines.

Dobrev remembers seeing Dior campaigns as she travelled around Europe with her family when she was younger and told Harper’s Bazaar magazine it was a dream come true to be working with the iconic label.

“I always looked up to Dior. It felt so timeless and classy and elegant in every way. I think the Miss Dior scent is what I always associated with that grace and timelessness. That was probably the first product I recognised, purchased, and aspired to as a little girl,” she shared.

The Vampire Diaries star has been a superfan of Dior Beauty for years, and while she tries not to wear make-up every day, her go-to products are exclusively from the French brand.

“The Forever Foundation is really great. I travel a lot and my hormones are constantly changing. I can have little breakouts,” the 30-year-old explained. “I really like it because it covers the breakouts but it doesn’t feel cakey. You feel covered but you don’t feel suffocated with make-up. It looks natural and clean and fresh and glowy and I really enjoy it.”

Rouge Dior’s Ultra Care lipstick is another firm favourite of Dobrev’s, and she uses Dior Capture Totale C.E.L.L. Energy Super Potent Serum at night after cleansing.

“The most important thing is just to wash your make-up off every night before you go to bed. Which kind of sucks sometimes,” she laughed.

Bella Hadid opens up about learning to be ‘comfortable’ in herself

Bella Hadid has taken a long time to finally feel “comfortable” in her own self.

The model is one of the hottest names in the fashion industry at the moment, having landed campaigns for the likes of Dior Beauty, Bulgari, and TAG Heuer.

However, Bella has now shared that she didn’t always find it easy to express herself, especially due to her battle with chronic Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with, along with her mother Yolanda and brother Anwar, in 2012.

“I kind of was always searching. So I guess when I felt most beautiful was very recently, in the past two years, when my health was at its best, my love was with me and around me,” she said in an interview with LOVE 20.5 Magazine. “I just felt very comfortable in my own being, instead of looking for the person I should be through others.”

As Bella is now on top of her illness, she is wholeheartedly throwing herself into the modelling business.

She even walked alongside her older sister Gigi Hadid at Prada’s show as part of Milan Fashion Week: Men’s on Sunday (13Jan19) – though she explained that it is the support of her siblings and her singer boyfriend The Weeknd that she cares about the most.

“Growing up I was definitely not the most confident person. Growing up with an older sister meant I had things to look up to, but I could never find myself… I define myself by what’s on the inside. I stay true to my moral compass at all times and look to my family and friends for guidance and support,” the 22-year-old shared.

Even though Bella typically remains tight-lipped about her Starboy hitmaker beau, in a recent chat for Vogue’s 73 Questions video series, she exclaimed that The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, was the “most beautiful” person she knows and that he also makes her “laugh the hardest”.

Bella Hadid has opened up about her journey to earn respect from her model peers.

The model is one of the hottest names in the fashion industry at the moment, having landed campaigns for the likes of Dior Beauty, Bulgari, and TAG Heuer.

But in spite of her success, Bella has hinted in a conversation for Vogue’s 73 Questions video series that she was not immediately embraced by her colleagues.

“The hardest thing about the modelling industry is probably gaining respect from my peers,” she said, before going on to share her advice for other women considering entering the fashion business. “I think, there’s a lot of pretty girls out there, so if you can’t be kind and work hard there’s no reason to do it.”

Bella went on to explain that she considers her biggest career success to be her “health and mental state right now”.

And when it comes to her career, she counted closing Fendi’s show at the Trevi Fountain in Rome in 2016 as her most unforgettable runway gig, and her debut Chanel appearance in 2015 as another particularly memorable moment.

“It was a big dream of mine, so being able to walk that show was huge,” the 22-year-old noted.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Bella shared that her sister Gigi Hadid gives the best Christmas gifts, and that the only time she was genuinely starstruck was when she met former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama.

Additionally, the brunette beauty revealed that the models in Victoria’s Secret shows only have two minutes to change outfits but usually do so in 30 seconds because they are “pretty quick”, and that she “absolutely hates” getting her nails done.

“It’s a task for me, I’d rather be doing things like (spending time with my horse),” she added.

Bella Hadid has opened up about her philosophical approach to spreading love.

The model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion business, having recently landed major campaigns for the likes of Dior Beauty, Bulgari and TAG Heuer.

Though Bella, who is currently dating Canadian singer The Weeknd, is constantly in the public eye, she has now shared that she is committed to the idea of giving and receiving love wherever she goes.

“For me, love enriches all parts of my body,” she told Harper’s Bazaar Arabia. “Whether that is giving love to someone who needs it, to fulfil my head; receiving love, to fulfil my heart; or teaching how to love, to fulfil my soul.”

For the October issue of the fashion publication, Bella poses up a storm in a variety of couture garments from brands including Giambattista Valli and Marine Serre.

Photographer Mariano Vivanco shot the imagery in the grounds of a 16th-century villa overlooking Rome’s Olympic stadium, with the model looking to simultaneously evoke an Italian star and Arabian princess, a nod to her Palestinian heritage, with the looks.

“I think regardless of where a woman is from, it’s her spirit that is captured the most,” the 21-year-old explained of the character she wanted to convey in the shoot. “Portraying both an Italian diva and an Arabian princess, I feel I have to capture the strength and vibrant internal beauty of both kinds of woman.”

The photoshoot marks the latest in a string of big projects for Bella, who also walked in several shows as part of Fashion Month over the course of September.

And when it comes to keeping calm in stressful situations, the younger sister of Gigi Hadid swears by the power of spritzing on essential oils.

“I love lavender oil because it reminds me of home,” she smiled. “I love mixing eucalyptus, lemon, frankincense, mint and orange to spray as a refresher and to calm myself.”

Bella Hadid is seriously considering going blonde.

The American model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion industry, having nabbed contracts for the likes of Dior Beauty, Bulgari and TAG Heuer.

While Bella is known for her sparkling blue-green eyes and brown tresses, she has now shared that she is contemplating following in her sister Gigi Hadid’s footsteps and going blonde.

“I want to go blonde, and right now, I’m obsessed with long hair – I love a long weave,” she told Allure magazine of her hair obsessions in a cover interview for the publication’s September issue. “I definitely want to do a pixie cut. I want to do bangs again.”

In the accompanying photoshoot for the magazine, Bella tried out the season’s latest lipstick trends with the help of make-up artist Romy Soleimani.

And even though the star is open to experimenting with bright pink and coral lip products, she admitted that there’s one colour that she tends to avoid.

“There’s probably five times, maybe, you’ve seen me with a red lip. I’m very self-conscious about it,” the 21-year-old commented. “I always stick to nudes and darker colours, but this shoot made me come out of my comfort zone a lot.”

Bella went on to explain that she’s a big fan of a ’90s-inspired lip looks, choosing to first line her pout with lip liner before applying a nude or mauve gloss. She always keeps her beauty kit stocked with Dior Lip Maximizer and Dior Lip Glow too, as well as moisturising products for when she’s on long-haul flights.

“Since I travel so much, (I focus on) skincare, mostly: a moisturiser, three serums, a night face mask. Things that hydrate my skin and make sure that when I land, I’m ready for work and able to keep going, ’cause it gets super dry up there,” she added.

Bella Hadid restricts her access to social media in the morning so it doesn’t “throw” out her day.

The American model has risen to fame since launching her fashion career in 2014, landing campaigns for many major brands, including Bulgari, DKNY and Dior Beauty.

While Bella often shares updates with her 18 million followers on Instagram, she has now revealed that she avoids looking at her phone when she can as part of her decision to commit to practicing self-care.

“When I wake up, I give myself 30 minutes where I’m not allowed to check my phone,” she told Elle.com. “For a while, it would be the first thing I’d check in the morning and it would completely throw my mind off target, especially when the first thing I would read would be either something somebody I don’t know said about me or something that could possibly hurt my feelings. Having that half an hour in the morning gives me time for myself to just lay there and breathe.”

Bella’s busy career sees her jet setting to a range of locales, with the model recently stepping out for a number of events held as part of the Cannes Film Festival.

But when their schedules allow, the brunette beauty likes nothing more than hanging out with her older sister Gigi Hadid at home.

“When Gigi and I are together, we just sit and watch cartoons and order loads of takeaway,” the 21-year-old smiled. “It’s hard for Gigi because there are always so many people outside her apartment so we like to play cards, or make ceramics and paint pottery, then wait until it’s a bit calmer and run down the street. I was always into music and she was into art, so I’ll sit and watch TV while she draws something artistic.”

During the interview, Bella also shared that she tries her best to spend time with her parents, former model Yolanda Hadid and real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid. In fact, the star thinks the “best time of her life” was when she was in her mother’s womb.

“Just being in my mom’s belly was really awesome. I didn’t have to live alone or pay my bills and it was nice and warm in there!” she joked.

Bella Hadid used to feel very insecure about her thin eyebrows.

The model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion industry, having walked the runway for the likes of Balmain, Moschino, Versace and Victoria’s Secret.

Bella was also tapped as an ambassador for Dior Beauty in 2016, and while her face is her money-maker now, she has admitted that she used to be very insecure about one of her features in particular.

“Growing up, I was always self-conscious about my brows but I never knew that you could do something about it,” she told Cosmopolitan.com. “I’ve always had really thin brows, I got them from my dad. I was also kind of chubbier growing up until I was 15, so there were a lot of things I had to grow into – I definitely had to grow into my face a lot. I wasn’t very secure with myself until recently.”

To achieve bold brows now, Bella relies on a quality eyebrow pencil. She and her make-up artist, Dior Beauty creative director Peter Philips, are big fans of the Diorshow Brow Styler, which naturally fills in brows and helps shape with precision.

“Fake it till you make it, I guess,” the 21-year-old smiled. “Brows are such a beautiful part of a woman and a man’s face, so to be able to enhance them now is revolutionary for me.”

Bella is currently promoting new launch Dior Addict Lacquer Plump, and also appears in the accompanying campaign. When it comes to her daily make-up regime, Bella is a big fan of using a touch of the lip gloss with a little concealer and blush, unless she is heading out to an event – in which case she will do some contouring.

“I don’t contour every day, but it’s life-changing for sure. I mean, contouring your nose and jawline. Whew!” she added.
