Rihanna personally signed off on every single detail in her latest Savage X Fenty collection.

The singer and fashion designer showed off the latest collection for her lingerie brand during an epic extravaganza at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn as part of New York Fashion Week on Tuesday night.

But in an interview with Entertainment Tonight backstage, the 31-year-old revealed that she is “too involved” in all aspects of the design process and there is nothing in the line that hasn’t had her stamp of approval.

“Oh my God, I’m too involved. I want a break but I’m a control freak, so I do everything,” Rihanna shared. “I see everything. There’s not one step of the way, there’s not one lace trim, there’s not one bra strap… there is not one bow on a panty that I do not see and approve.

“It’s a lot of work, but it’s the only way you can preserve a brand, that you start from scratch… Here, I have a unique opportunity to change things. I’ve always been so sincere with my perspective on this brand but to see the way that we’re perceived in the lingerie world.”

The fashion and beauty mogul added that there’s pressure on her to continue producing size-inclusive garments, admitting, “It makes me feel like now we cannot neglect those consumers.”

This year’s Savage X Fenty presentation was bigger than ever thanks to a partnership with executives at Amazon Prime Video, who will exclusively broadcast the show on 20 September. To keep details under wraps, photography and cell phones were banned from the venue.

In addition to the new designs, the show will also feature performances from DJ Khaled, Halsey, Big Sean, and Migos, among others, as well as special appearances from Cara Delevingne, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Normani, Joan Smalls, and Laverne Cox.

The 43-year-old, real name Khaled Mohamed Khaled, joined WW at the beginning of 2018 as a spokesperson for the brand to make “healthier habits for my life,” he said at the time.

And in a post on Instagram he updated his fans on his loss to date.

“A year ago I told y’all it’s coming OFF! I started at 293 lbs and now I’m OFFICIALLY 250 lbs!! They CALL ME SLIM JIM!! Thank you @ww for changing my life!!,” the record producer posted in the caption, alongside a before and after picture showing him looking much trimmer.

“And i ain’t stopping! We gon keep winning with the Freestyle Program!! I promise you!! It’s coming OFF! Join me and win with me on @WW. The new Weight Watchers. I’m not racing! I’m not speeding! I’m cruising! Ride with me through the journey link in my bio! *People following the WW plan can expect to lose 1-2 lbs/wk. #wwambassador #ad”.

The I’m the One hitmaker is one of several high-profile WW ambassadors tapped to represent the weight loss company since last year. As well as being a spokesperson, Oprah Winfrey is also a partial shareholder in the company, and WW added actress Kate Hudson to its roster last December.

Father-of-one Khaled regularly updates his 14 million Instagram followers with his weight loss wins after starting the regime in December 2017. By the following February he had lost 26lbs.

“Man. WeightWatchers is going good,” he previously told Page Six. “It’s a real lifestyle because all you have to do is not go over your point (total). And there are so many zero points (foods) in case you get hungry.”

The superstar, who was presented with the prestigious Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the ceremony held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City, pulled out all the stops for her appearance at the star-studded music bash.

Walking the red carpet with her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, Jennifer sported a figure-hugging silver gown from the Italian fashion house with matching platform high heel sandals.

“Music icon @jlo at the 2018 #VMAs in an #AtelierVersace silver chainmail gown, with one shoulder neckline, intricate all-over Swarovski crystal mesh accents and daring thigh-high slit,” a Versace representative captioned a photo of the singer on the brand’s Instagram page.

But the Versace looks didn’t stop there; Jennifer wowed in a number of pieces from the luxury brand, led by designer Donatella Versace, when she performed a medley of her greatest hits during the show.

Kicking off with Waiting for Tonight, the entertainer sported a gold sequin bodysuit, crystal-studded tights and a flowing blue and white silk cape featuring Versace’s Baroque-inspired emblems.

She then switched her cape for a large white faux fur coat as she belted out 2002’s All I Have and proceeded to change into a gold jumpsuit with plunging neckline and gold sequin jacket while she performed tunes I’m Real, Jenny from the Block and her latest song, Dinero.

The 49-year-old removed her jacket as she took to the stage to collect the Vanguard Award but had another full costume change when she accepted the award for best collaboration with Cardi B and DJ Khaled on Dinero, and sparkled in a strapless dress with high-low skirt and a large belt.

And it wasn’t only Jennifer who was on board with the metallic trend on the night, Bebe Rexha stood out in a silver crop top and skirt from Christian Siriano, while singer SZA wowed in a light pink fringed dress from Rodarte.

Hailey Baldwin used her wardrobe to remember the victims of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The 21-year-old co-hosted the ceremony alongside record producer DJ Khaled on Sunday night (11Mar18), and at one point, chose to wear a black T-shirt that featured the name of the school in Florida where 17 people were killed in a mass shooting last month.

The model teamed the statement top with a pair of sequined palazzo pants and a sparkly double buckle belt.

Hailey, who has walked the runway for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Prabal Gurung, and Jeremy Scott, has previously used her social media profiles to speak out against gun violence in the wake of the tragic massacre, by sharing website links to March for Our Lives, the planned demonstration organised by students in support of gun control set to be held on 24 March.

Earlier in the evening, Hailey struck a pose on the red carpet at The Forum in Los Angeles, wearing a golden, tasselled Zuhair Murad Couture jumpsuit, which she teamed with a pair of metallic Jimmy Choo sandals, and jewellery by Lorraine Schwartz.

And before the show kicked off, the fashion star admitted she was surprisingly calm as she prepared to lead proceedings, considering she was a long-time viewer of the awards ceremony herself.

“I’m nervous about how calm I am. I’ve been watching past iHearts and trying to get spiffy with the prompter reading,” she told People.

Winners on the night included singers Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift, who won the awards for Best Male and Best Female Artist, respectively, while rapper Cardi B took home the Best New Artist prize.

DJ Khaled has teamed up with bosses at Weight Watchers to embark on a nationwide food truck tour.

The hip-hop star became a spokesperson for the dieting brand in January (18) and the larger than life musician is now delivering delicious meals to diners across the U.S. as part of his Khaled’s Kitchen Tour.

The trek kicked off in Las Vegas, Nevada on 3 March (18) and will stop in 13 other major cities, including Brooklyn, New York, Phoenix, Arizona and Nashville, Tennessee, throughout the remainder of the month.

The food extravaganza follows the star as he performs concerts as an opening act on Demi Lovato’s Tell Me You Love Me Tour.

The culinary pop-up events offer dishes inspired by recipes from DJ Khaled’s personal cook, Chef Melissa Zuniga, who is hoping to meet up with fans in four of the food truck stops to discuss her client’s WW Freestyle programme, the dieting scheme he is promoting with Weight Watchers that helped him lose 30 pounds.

“I am all in on Weight Watchers,” the Wild Thoughts hitmaker wrote in a press release. “I’m going to show you how you can do that WW Freestyle program no matter where you are. Join me on this journey to greatness.

“My fans are everything to me, and I want you all to experience that WW Freestyle feeling. Be great, and be grateful. Come to Khaled’s Kitchen and enjoy some of my favorite recipes that keep me going every day! I will never stop!”

Fans looking for a heads up on when Khaled will do in-person meet and greets can find the information on social media, where he’ll share updates and surprises about the food truck tour.
