Drake is collecting luxury Birkin bags from Hermes to give to his future wife.

The Hotline Bling rapper made the revelation as he showcased his huge mansion in Toronto for the latest issue of Architectural Digest, which he has nicknamed The Embassy.

Drake’s 50,000 square foot residence, which was masterminded by architectural and interior designer Ferris Rafauli, features a recording studio, an NBA-regulation-size basketball court, and a master bed that weighs more than a tonne.

During the interview, it was also revealed that the Canadian hip-hop star has been amassing a collection of Birkin handbags, which range from $12,000 (£9,500) to more than $200,000 (£159,000).

“Equally dramatic is Drake’s two-story closet, adorned with amethyst hardware, rock crystal, and seating upholstered in diamond-tufted shearling with polished nickel studs,” an Architectural Digest reporter noted. “It’s the perfect place to display the musician’s extensive wardrobe, sneaker collection, and the array of precious Hermes Birkin bags that he has been amassing for years.”

Drake previously told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017 that the collection was for “the woman I end up with”.

And the God’s Plan hitmaker isn’t the only superfan of the bag, which was named after British actress Jane Birkin by the French luxury goods maker.

Kylie Jenner outed her mother Kris Jenner as an obsessive Birkin bag collector in a Snapchat video back in 2016.

The beauty mogul documented helping her mum move her extensive collection into a dedicated closet, which was lit by a neon sign which read: “Need money for Birkin.”

Adele has given fans another glimpse of her svelte new figure by sharing pictures from a recent Christmas party.

The 31-year-old shared two snaps from the festive bash on Instagram on Monday, showing off her staggering weight loss, which is estimated to be around 42 pounds (19 kilograms), while wearing a black silk dress.

“We both tried to ruin Christmas but then both our hearts grew! Thank you for coming to my party and making us feel like kids Grinch,” Adele wrote alongside the black-and-white pictures of her posing with The Grinch and Santa Claus. “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone x.”

The mother-of-one paired her dress with pieces of costume jewellery, her signature red lipstick and chic waves in her shoulder-length hair.

“The only Christmas present I need!” one fan commented on the post, while another gushed: “YOU LOOK AMAZING GO OFF QUEEN.”

The Hello hitmaker has been steadily shedding the pounds since she split from her long-term partner Simon Konecki earlier this year. The couple, who share seven-year-old son Angelo, announced their separation in a statement in April, after eight years together.

Adele first debuted her dramatic weight loss at the end of October, when she attended Drake’s star-studded 33rd birthday bash in Hollywood wearing an off-the-shoulder black velvet dress.

“I used to cry but now I sweat,” she wrote alongside snaps of her from the party, referencing her new workout regime.

According to People, the Grammy winner takes part in regular sessions with private trainer Dalton Wong, who has worked with her close friend Jennifer Lawrence, Pilates classes, and workouts at Rise Nation.

Celine Dion has pleaded with Drake not to get a tattoo of her face.

The God’s Plan star has long been a massive fan of the superstar, and was overcome with emotion when he finally met her at the Billboard Music Awards in 2017.

At the time, onlookers reported that Drake told his fellow Canadian he was “like a year away from a Celine tat,” while patting his ribs.

But in a new interview with iHeartRadio Canada, Celine urged Drake not to go through with his plan – instead offering him some fun alternatives.

“Don’t do that,” the 51-year-old said disapprovingly. “You can write me love letters, you can send me autographs for my kids, you can come and visit. I can have you home for lunch or dinner. We can go for a drink. We can sing together. Whatever you want to do. I can talk to your mother. Whatever you want, but please.”

Adding that age won’t treat the tattoo kindly, Celine continued: “As you get older – you too when the time comes – my face will go longer and it will go no prettier. So please don’t tattoo it.”

Drake already has a vast array of artists’ portraits tattooed on his body – including images of Rihanna, Sade, Lil Wayne, and Aaliyah.

The 32-year-old has not yet responded to Celine’s comments.

Drake has cheekily commemorated beating a chart record previously held by The Beatles with a new tattoo.

Last year, the God’s Plan rapper surpassed the British band’s record for the most songs simultaneously listed in America’s Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10, with seven tracks from his 2018 album Scorpion.

In October, Drake secured 12 tracks on the Hot 100’s Top 10 in a calendar year, surpassing The Beatles’ record of 11, and this June, he passed the Fab Four to claim the second-most Hot 100 Top 10s ever, following Madonna.

The Canadian star has already marked the record-breaking feat in his music, and it appears he has now also celebrated the achievement in a more permanent way.

New pictures posted of Drake on social media showed him with new body art on his left forearm, and the rapper’s official fan account @WordOnRd shared images with the caption, “Drake has a tattoo of himself in front of The Beatles on his arm.”

The black and white tattoo is inspired by the band’s famous 1969 Abbey Road album cover, which shows John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr walking in a line at a pedestrian crossing. In the tattoo, Drake has been added as a fifth figure, who is seen standing in front of The Beatles and waving at them.

The tattoo had a mixed response on social media, with some Drake fans finding the new ink funny, and others commenting, “I love Drake but that’s so tacky and cocky lmfao (laughing my f**king a*s off) it’s not that deep,” and “Drake tats are like a college students laptop with stickers all over (sic).”

Drake had previously celebrated beating The Beatles’ record in his rap on Meek Mill’s track Going Bad, which featured the lyrics: “I got more slaps than The Beatles.”

His other tattoos include homages to Aaliyah, Sade, Lil Wayne, and Denzel Washington.

Dsquared2 and Drake’s lifestyle label October’s Very Own (OVO) are going into business together.

The two fashion brands are teaming up on a capsule collection which will feature laid back pieces like a denim jacket, jeans, a grey hoodie with coordinated fleece track pants, and T-shirts. Two hats – a beanie and baseball cap – complete the line.

And Dsquared2’s twin founders Dean and Dan Caten have put their own spin on OVO’s signature owl motif, duplicating the bird and adding their own logo alongside it.

“We have this intuitive cultural understanding between us, we are all from Toronto, Canada power, working with Drake was like creating with the third D, D cubed to the power of three,” Dean smiled, according to WWD.

“We feel that collaborations unify forces from different industries, whether it is fashion or music, coming together is the way to go,” added Dan.

The capsule drops on Friday at OVO’s seven flagships across Canada, the U.S. and in London, as well as on the OVO website. Prices range from $138 (£107) to $598 (£466).

It marks the latest collaboration for the design brothers, who have also worked with famed fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and basketball star Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union’s husband, in recent years.

God’s Plan hitmaker Drake founded his OVO clothing brand with entrepreneur Oliver El-Khatib and longtime producer Noah ’40’ Shebib, in 2011. The trio also owns the OVO record label.

Jorja Smith wants to use her role as Dior’s new global make-up ambassador to celebrate and give representation to mixed-race girls.

The British songstress, who earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist in 2019, announced that she has teamed up with the French luxury brand for the role on Monday (29Apr19).

During an interview for her cover feature in the June edition of Elle U.K. magazine, Jorja who has previously worked with the likes of Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Stormzy, shared that she hopes to use the position to champion mixed-race beauty.

“It’s a new face and it’s also a natural face. I mean, I wear make-up, but I haven’t done anything to my face,” she told the publication. “I’ve always looked like this – for young mixed-race girls at school to see me and be like, ‘Oh – I look like her!'”

The Let Me Down hitmaker went on to share the magazine cover on her Instagram account, and gushed that she’s “so excited” about the prestigious gig.

“Little 14-year-old J would not have even thought about this while stealing my mom’s mascaras!” the 21-year-old wrote in the caption of the post.

Despite admitting that she enjoys working out and experimenting with make-up, Jorja also confessed to the publication that, to her, beauty isn’t necessarily about aesthetics, and that it’s more about being “comfortable” in your own skin.

“It’s being comfortable in your skin and knowing that your imperfections make you perfect. You have to realise that you’ve got flaws and they’re fine – they just make you who you are,” she smiled.

Drake will be producing major movies under a new partnership with Zero Dark Thirty producer Matthew Budman.

The Hotline Bling hitmaker and his long-time business partner, Future the Prince, have signed a first look deal with the movie mogul’s new Forest Hill Entertainment company.

Budman worked as a co-producer on director Kathryn Bigelow’s Academy Award-winning 2012 war film, Zero Dark Thirty, for production house Annapurna and also to co-produced David O. Russell’s 2013 release American Hustle.

“Drake and I are thrilled to partner with our longtime friend at the inception of Forest Hill Entertainment, supporting Matthew and his team as they set new, unprecedented boundaries of groundbreaking content,” Future the Prince, real name Adel Nur, tells Deadline. “This partnership aligns strongly with our mission of developing and fostering emerging and preeminent talent across the entertainment landscape.”

Drake and his business partner have already tapped into successful ventures as content creators to expand the rap superstar’s empire, but this is their first foray into major film productions. The Toronto based hip-hop star signed a lucrative $19 million (£15 million) deal with Apple Music in 2015 for exclusive content production and he also has credits as a producer for 2017 sports documentary The Carter Effect, about Canadian basketball hero Vince Carter, and executive producing tags on new high school drama TV series Euphoria, set to hit screens this year (19).

Drake began his career as an actor on teen TV show Degrassi in the early 2000s and he recently opened up about his desires to take up acting again, although there is no word on whether he plans to star in the films he’ll produce with Budman and Forest Hill Entertainment.

“When I get back into acting, I want to do things that make people go, ‘Wow, I didn’t expect that.’,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.

Enterprising Drake has his fingers in fashion and the beverage market too, launching his whiskey line Virginia Black in 2016.

Drake has showed off a giant new owl chest tattoo in a shirtless selfie.

The God’s Plan star is no stranger to body art and among his current collection of tattoos is an inking of a flower on his right shoulder, a portrait of singer Sade on his torso, and a depiction of a lion on his left forearm.

Now, Drake has taken to his Instagram Stories to upload a mirror selfie in order to unveil the full owl design, which extends across his entire chest.

The Canadian rapper did not tag his tattoo artist in the snap, though he did later share a short video to his Instagram page showing him rapping along to a track from Smiley’s A Tape to Remember while standing in a swimming pool.

“Last week I had nothing…,” he captioned the clip, referring to a lyric in the song.

A number of fans took to social media to note that the tattoo looked pretty fresh, with one with follower writing on Twitter, “I didn’t know drake had an owl chest piece nice tho (sic),” while another added: “Dude drake I just want a clear view of the owl.”

While Drake is yet to share any other details about his brand new tattoo, an owl is perhaps an obvious choice considering that the bird is the symbol for OVO Sound, the Toronto-based label he founded alongside Oliver El-Khatib and Noah “40” Shebib in 2012.

Among Drake’s other tattoos is an etching of late star Aaliyah’s face on his back, a tribute to his friend Anthony “Fif” Soares, who was tragically killed in 2017, as well as a portrait of actor Denzel Washington in character as trumpet player Bleek Gilliam in Spike Lee’s 1990 movie Mo’ Better Blues. The tattoo was completed by artist Inal Bersekov, with the Oscar-winning actor praising the art during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in November 2017.

“Now you got me wondering where is that (on his body),” Denzel smiled. “That’s crazy. But I think he got some other people he admires.”

Drake is aiming to dominate the Latin pop charts by putting his Spanish-language skills to the test on a new collaboration with Bad Bunny.

The Canadian rapper was spotted hitting the studio with the Puerto Rican reggaeton singer back in January (18), and on Thursday (11Oct18), the two artists revealed the song they had been working on.

Mia features Bad Bunny and Drake trading verses entirely in Spanish, marking only the second time the God’s Plan hitmaker has attempted to become bilingual – he previously offered up a little Latin rhyme on Romeo Santos’ Odio single in 2014.

The stars also dropped the accompanying music video for Mia, in which they are featured dancing at an all-night block party.

Bad Bunny previously teased the track in a chat with Entertainment Tonight, admitting it had been a dream come true to work with Drake.

“Being in the studio with (Drake) was an achievement in itself,” he gushed. “(I can’t believe) that collaboration became a reality.”

The song is sure to help propel Bad Bunny back up the charts, after teaming up with Cardi B and J Balvin for their monster hit I Like It, which they performed at the 2018 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Mia will also likely extend Drake’s domination on streaming services like Spotify – he was recently named the most streamed artist in the firm’s first decade of existence. He leads the male-dominated list, ahead of Ed Sheeran, Eminem, The Weeknd, and Rihanna.

His 2016 release Views was also dubbed the music service’s third most streamed album of the past 10 years, and its single One Dance is the second most played song on Spotify.

Dance star Diplo and actor/DJ Ansel Elgort have joined rapper Drake by becoming investors in a new matcha energy drink.

Rising singer Billie Eilish and American football star Von Miller have also contributed to the successful $8 million (£6 million) fundraising campaign launched by brothers Max and Graham Fortgang, the co-founders of MatchaBar in Brooklyn, New York – America’s first matcha cafe.

The entrepreneurial siblings, who have since opened three other MatchaBar locations, are now aiming to break into the highly-profitable energy drink market with their new canned creation, called Matcha Hustle. The product uses the trendy ground powder from green tea leaves to give consumers a caffeine kick, which is said to be just as powerful as popular drink Red Bull, but without all the added chemicals.

“As someone who is constantly on the road and in the studio, I am excited to bring matcha into the world of music and nightlife,” Diplo tells Forbes.com. “I relate to the clean, healthy ingredients that MatchaBar brings forth to the energy drink sector.”

The Lean On hitmaker also features in the Fortgangs’ new advertisement for Hustle, alongside Elgort, Eilish, and Miller, who each help to tell the story of MatchaBar’s rise and what led the brothers to create the energy drink, which comes in both regular and non-sugar flavours.

“We all work hard. But then we get tired,” explains Ansel, who appears onscreen shirtless while eating cereal. “So, we grab an energy drink. But then a few hours later, we feel like s**t because they’re full of chemicals and sugar. My friends Max and Graham thought it didn’t have to be that way.”

Hustle has now gone on sale at U.S. retailer Whole Foods, with the co-founders also unveiling a social media promotion to enable their first 20,000 customers to gift a can to a friend via the grocery store.
