Millie Bobby Brown is to co-produce a movie titled A Time Lost for Netflix.

The actress, who shot to fame playing supernatural Eleven on the streaming service’s hit show Stranger Things, and her sister Paige Brown have confirmed they are working with bosses at the company on the original drama.

Millie and Paige have developed the original story, with Anna Klassen attached to adapt. The plot will explore a long-standing feud between two Long Island families which comes to a head when one of their teenage daughters is diagnosed with cancer.

“We are so grateful to Netflix for their confidence in us and this beautiful story, which we have spent years writing and developing,” the sisters commented in a joint statement. “It’s about friendship, family and overcoming obstacles when it feels like the world is pushing you down. It’s been a labour of love, literally.”

Millie is to serve as a producer, while Paige and their father Robert Brown will executive produce under the family’s PCMA Productions company. The 15-year-old is also co-producing her upcoming detective movie Enola Holmes with her sibling, among others, under the banner.

Regarding A Time Lost, Netflix’s Lisa Nishimura, vice president of independent film and documentary features, praised Millie’s ideas for the project.

“Millie is an extraordinary creative talent. We’ve been lucky to have her in our family from the beginning of her career. It is a genuine thrill to witness Millie bring her distinct vision to the screen, now as a writer and producer, alongside her sister on this wonderful film,” she added.

Casting details and a potential release date have not yet been announced.

Millie Bobby Brown is the new brand ambassador for jewellery company Pandora.

The British actress has signed a two-year deal with the Danish brand, known for its charm bracelets, and is to front a campaign for an upcoming collection that celebrates empowerment and self-expression.

“I feel extremely honoured to be partnering with Pandora,” she said in a statement. “I love Pandora because everyone can tell their own story, and each symbol can represent your individuality.”

Millie was photographed by Cass Bird for her debut Pandora campaign, which sees her posing in a black T-shirt and showing off a delicate silver bracelet. The photoshoot took place in her adopted hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, where she films her hit Netflix show Stranger Things.

A short film to accompany the images will also be released, in which the 15-year-old will share her personal connection to the pieces.

Stephen Fairchild, Pandora’s chief creative and brand officer, said the young star was the ideal fit for the company.

“Millie Bobby Brown is the perfect ambassador for the next generation of Pandora jewellery that empowers young women to express themselves. Not only an accomplished actor and making her presence as a voice of her generation known, she also brings a youthful and individual approach to jewellery that perfectly complements Pandora’s vision and creativity,” he commented.

Millie’s first Pandora editorial will be released in October.

The teenager is keeping busy with various projects following the release of the third season of Stranger Things last month. She’s just wrapped on Godzilla vs. Kong and is currently filming Enola Holmes alongside Henry Cavill, Sam Claflin, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Sam Claflin is the latest Hollywood star to join the cast of the upcoming Enola Holmes movie.

The Hunger Games actor will star alongside Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter and Fiona Shaw in the project, which is to be based on The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series by Nancy Springer.

Harry Bradbeer is directing from a script penned by Jack Thorne, with the plot revolving around a missing teenager whose father has been murdered.

Stranger Things star Brown is set to play the titular character, while Cavill will portray Sherlock Holmes and Bonham Carter will take on the part of Enola’s mother, according to editors at The Hollywood Reporter.

The 15-year-old is also producing, alongside her sister Paige Brown, Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes.

Springer’s six-book series, which began with The Case of the Missing Marquess in 2006, tells the tale of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ younger sister, Enola, who turns out to be a highly capable detective in her own right.

Claflin, who also featured in romantic drama Me Before You opposite Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, next appears in the Charlie’s Angels reboot.

The first trailer for the action flick, due out in November, dropped last month, but the British actor was not featured, leaving fans speculating who he plays in the Elizabeth Banks-directed film.

In a recent chat with PopSugar, Claflin shared that he will play the charming Alexander Brock, boss of Naomi Scott’s Elena Houghlin, in the film. However, he has insisted his character wasn’t a villain.

“I think he’s a man with a plan, and in his mind, ‘In order to bake a cake, you have to break a few eggs.’ I think he sort of uses people, but I wouldn’t say he’s a villain. But it’s up to you to make your own minds up, really,” the 33-year-old teased.

Helena Bonham Carter is joining Millie Bobby Brown in the detective movie Enola Holmes.

The Harry Potter actress has been cast as the mother of Brown’s character Enola, the 14-year-old sister of famous fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, according to editors at The Hollywood Reporter.

The film will be based on Nancy Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series, which began in 2006 with The Case of the Missing Marquess. The young adult series is made up six books and follows Sherlock’s much younger sister Enola – who turns out to be a highly capable detective in her own right.

Wonder screenwriter and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child playwright Jack Thorne has been tasked with adapting the books for the screen, while Harry Bradbeer, who has helmed episodes of British sitcom Fleabag and hit thriller series Killing Eve, will serve as director.

The Stranger Things actress will also produce the project with her sister Paige Brown for their PCMA Productions company, while Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes will oversee the project for Legendary Pictures.

The 15-year-old will soon be seen reprising her role of Eleven in the hit Netflix sci-fi series when the third season is released in July. She recently appeared in Godzilla: King of Monsters and is set to star in its sequel, Godzilla vs. Kong, as well as the drama, The Thing About Jellyfish.

Bonham Carter, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in 2010’s The King’s Speech, has completed voice work on sci-fi TV series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance and will be seen portraying Princess Margaret in season three of Netflix’s The Crown later this year.
