Billie Eilish celebrated her record haul at the 2020 Grammy Awards by splashing out on a new necklace.

The Bad Guy hitmaker took home awards for Best New Artist, Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album in the big five categories at the prizegiving held in January, becoming the youngest artist in history to do so. Billie’s debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was also named the Best Engineered Album.

In light of her success, the star reached out to the designers at celebrity jewellers Boodaddy Diamonds and had them custom-make a 14-karat gold and black diamond ‘5X’ necklace for her.

“WITH THE ULTIMATE FLEX. CUSTOM PENDANT I MADE FOR @billieeilish 5 X GRAMMY WINNER. WITH A SWEEP OF THE MAJOR CATEGORIES,” they posted on Instagram on Thursday, alongside a series of close-up image of the bling. “FIRST TIME SINCE 1981. SHES ONLY 18 & ALREADY A GOAT (Greatest of All Time).

“THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE & SUPPORT. MUCH APPRECIATED.”

Billie also posted a photo of her wearing the necklace during a photoshoot on her Instagram page.

The 18-year-old has continued breaking records, and recently released James Bond theme No Time to Die – making her the youngest artist in history to record a song for the hit movie franchise.

The tune will play over the credits when the movie drops in theatres on 12 November 2020, after the release was pushed back due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Demi Lovato has revealed the powerful meaning behind her new angelic tattoo.

The singer took a break from Instagram and Twitter ahead of her performances at the Grammy Awards and Super Bowl, but now, she’s returned to tell her fans and followers about the body art, which features doves carrying a fallen angel.

Demi recruited Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Alessandro Capozzi to create the design, which took eight hours to complete at the end of last year.

“Getting tatted by him was an experience I’ve never had before…,” the 27-year-old wrote. “No idea what I was going to get done, I told him about my life and where I was at in that moment and we created a combination on images that best symbolized the spiritual awakening I was having.

“Having a fallen angel being lifted by three, pure, angelic doves (the Holy Trinity) as her inner light is being guided by a higher consciousness, and the disintegration of her dark wings was representing the darkness I was shedding (sic).”

Demi also gushed about Alessandro, calling him “extremely talented” and adding: “Thank you for this special experience… the only bummer is I can’t physically see this amazing artwork because it’s on my back! Haha.”

Meanwhile, the star also thanked her manager, Scooter Braun, for introducing her to the tattoo artist.

Demi recently released Anyone, the cry-for-help song she recorded days before her 2018 drug overdose, after performing it at the Grammys last month.

Ariana Grande has joked her earlobes are “still recovering” from the large jewels she wore to the 2020 Grammy Awards.

The 7 Rings hitmaker enjoyed several outfit changes over the course of the music bash last Sunday night, making her entrance in a grey Giambattista Valli ballgown, before swapping into a Schiaparelli creation, and later changing into an emerald green gown from Givenchy for her performance.

On Thursday, celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz took to Instagram to share a close-up image of the huge Colombian emerald and diamond necklace and earring set Ariana wore with her final ensemble. The clip quickly attracted the attention of the star, who wrote in the comments section: “Earlobes still recovering. However, those earrings…. they are sorely and deeply missed. I think of them constantly and wish we didn’t have to part. if they go missing, it was (my dog) Toulouse. love and thank u (sic).”

Earlier in the evening, Ariana also sported another pair of 30-carat diamond studs from Lorraine’s brand along with her first red carpet look.

And as for her many outfit changes at the Grammys, the 26-year-old explained in an interview with CBS that she simply couldn’t choose between all of the beautiful options at her fingertips.

“So, here’s the thing – I did the carpet in a custom Giambattista Valli dress and I loved it, and then I didn’t do the interview, so I came back in a different dress, because I couldn’t decide,” she said, adding that it was “huge progress” for her to even attend due to her anxiety.

“I’m so lucky. I had two, very special custom looks made. And I couldn’t decide! I was indecisive, so I decided to do it twice. Which is really huge progress for me, because usually, I cannot come within three feet of a red carpet without having a nervous breakdown.”

Lana Del Rey purchased her outfit for the 2020 Grammy Awards during a trip to the mall.

The Video Games hitmaker, who was nominated for two prizes at the annual music event held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night, walked the red carpet alongside her new boyfriend, Live PD star Sean Larkin.

Lana looked stunning in a silver beaded gown with a vintage vibe, but during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she admitted she had picked up the number at the “last minute”.

“(I purchased it) at the mall. I saw this, and I loved it,” she commented, though didn’t divulge the brand or exactly where she spotted it. “This is a last-minute dress, but I love it.”

The reporter then went on to note that the colour of Lana’s dress matched Sean’s silver hair, to which she replied, “Yeah, it’s very cool.”

Elsewhere in the chat, the 34-year-old noted that she had the gown altered to her shape before she stepped out at the star-studded bash.

“I tailored it right there,” said Lana, before gesturing to her waist area. “So, you know, a little mix and match. … We’re making it all work.”

Lana’s hair was styled into a chic updo by Sheridan Ward, while make-up artist Pamela Cochrane ramped up the retro feel of her ensemble by giving her dewy skin and dramatic winged eye make-up. The beauty pro used the Ultimate Taupe and Statuesque eyeshadow shades from Pat McGrath Labs on the star’s lids, before FetishEyes Mascara on her lashes. She also applied Lip Fetish Lip Balm to the lips and added a touch of colour with the Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in Buff, a warm nude.

Billy Porter made a serious style statement at the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

The Pose star stepped out onto the red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles wearing a custom blue crystal-studded flare jumpsuit and cropped jacket from Baja East designer Scott Studenberg.

Porter accessorised with a Judith Leiber bag, Alexis Bittar bling, and Coach boots, but it was his matching headgear, made by Sarah Sokol Millinery, which received the most attention, with the item featuring a layer of silver fringe draped across the front that could be opened and closed using a remote control from Smooth Technologies.

Speaking to E! News during the pre-show, Porter’s stylist Sam Ratelle explained that he was inspired to get creative with the 50-year-old’s accessories after seeing Billie Eilish sport a bonnet-style headpiece with veil to the 2019 American Music Awards in November.

“It really originated from the moment Billy had with Billie Eilish at the VMAs. She wore this beautiful Burberry hat, designer tissue and a bonnet with a beekeeper’s net. (Porter) said, ‘I love that hat,’ but he was like, ‘There’s no way I’m covering my face,'” he recalled. “So, I found these incredible hats designed by Scott Studenberg from Baja East, and they have fringe coming down pretty much covering the face and they’re so dramatic.

“There’s a clicker that I’ve been holding as I trail down the carpet and every time he gives me the signal to open the hat then I open the hat.”

Meanwhile, Studenberg took to Instagram to share a string of images of the outfit and noted that he was thrilled with the final ensemble.

“Thank you, @theebillyporter for always welcoming my crazy ideas with objective positivity. All I’ve ever wanted to do is make art, so this is a dream. These moments don’t happen magically. It takes a strong support system, planning and countless hours of hard work and sleepless nights – many times even until the very last minute,” the designer praised.

Ariana Grande enjoyed a princess moment during the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday night.

The Sweetener hitmaker, who skipped the bash last year after a reported spat with producer Ken Ehrlich, made her long-awaited return to the annual prestigious music event, which was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Ariana stunned on the red carpet in an extravagant strapless grey Giambattista Valli haute couture gown, which featured a huge tiered tulle skirt.

The 26-year-old completed the look with matching gloves, 30-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings, and had her hair scraped back into her signature sky-high ponytail.

Shortly after posing in the Giambattista Valli gown, Ariana then changed into a Schiaparelli creation, which was comprised of an embellished charcoal grey crop top and voluminous light grey skirt.

“So, here’s the thing – I did the carpet in a custom Giambattista Valli dress and I loved it, and then I didn’t do the interview, so I came back in a different dress, because I couldn’t decide,” she told CBS.

Ariana went on to explain that it was a “huge progress” for her being able to even walk the red carpet on Sunday due to her anxiety.

“I’m so lucky. I had two, very special custom looks made. And I couldn’t decide! I was indecisive, so I decided to do it twice. Which is really huge progress for me, because usually, I cannot come within three feet of a red carpet without having a nervous breakdown,” the superstar shared.

Ariana was up for five prizes at the Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year for 7 Rings, but lost out to Billie Eilish for her track Bad Guy.

Jennifer Lopez busted out her iconic green Versace dress for an appearance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

The superstar hit headlines around the world when she stepped out at the 2000 Grammy Awards sporting the tropical print gown, and attracted huge media attention again in September when she walked the runway during the Italian fashion house’s spring/summer 2020 show in a reimagined version.

Jennifer reflected on wearing the outfit for the second time during her monologue while hosting the TV show on Saturday night, and told the audience: “I walked the runway at Milan for the first time wearing a dress I wore 20 years ago. Now, some people said I look better now than I did then, and I’m not bragging – that’s just, you know, gossip.”

She then launched into a performance of Santa Claus is Coming to Town with the Radio City Rockettes and at the conclusion of the song, hid behind the dancers, whipped off her tuxedo, and proceeded to walk back to the front of the stage wearing the famous Donatella Versace-designed ensemble along with matching sandals, leading to a massive cheer from the audience.

To mark the 20th anniversary of Versace’s jungle print earlier this year, Jennifer recalled in a video for Vogue.com how she had to convince her stylist at the time, Andrea Lieberman, to let her wear the dress back in 2000.

“(On the day of the Grammys) there was two or three dresses… and then when I tried on the green one and I came out, everyone was there… glam and everybody… and they were like, ‘That’s the dress! That is the dress, that is what you are wearing. Let’s go,'” she remembered. “And then Andrea, my stylist was like, ‘You can’t wear that one,’ and I was like, ‘Why did you bring it then?'”

Yet, as soon as the I’m Real hitmaker made her entrance on the red carpet, she knew she had made the right decision.

“There was a little buzz in the air, people started yelling and screaming…the 50-year-old mused.

Jennifer Lopez didn’t consider iconic green Versace gown to be ‘risque’

Jennifer Lopez didn’t think the Versace gown she wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards was particularly daring at the time.

The superstar attracted huge media coverage when she stepped out at the music event alongside then-boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in the dress, which was made from silk chiffon and featured a plunging neckline.

Jennifer modelled a reimagined version of the dress at Versace’s spring/summer 2020 show last month, and has now recalled how she hadn’t expected such a dramatic reaction when she first selected the tropical print ensemble.

“I really didn’t think about it, I didn’t think it was all that risque to be honest,” she said in a video for Vogue.com. “I was more excited that it was the Grammys. I wasn’t really thinking about the dress that much. I was just glad I had something to wear.

“As I got to the red carpet, it was really crowded and we were trying to get through, and then all of a sudden people started moving so we could pass through. And I was like, ‘This is weird.’ And there was a little buzz in the air, people started yelling and screaming…. There was something extra about it.”

During the Grammy Awards, Jennifer presented the award for Best R&B Album alongside actor David Duchovny.

And the Jenny from the Block star still remembers the cheers from the audience as she walked out.

“Again, when we walked out onto the stage, there was this murmur in the crowd. And everybody started clapping, and I was smiling – just trying to be (as) normal as you can be a Grammys onstage. It was just one of those perfect moments. I got onstage and it kinda blew open and the dress was just provocative enough I guess, to make people really interested,” the 50-year-old smiled, before comparing it the iconic white dress Marilyn Monroe wore in her 1955 film, The Seven Year Itch. “I guess it’s like when Marilyn’s dress blew up. Even though she held it down, it was still like, ‘Oh my God!'”
