Hailey Bieber takes pride in her ability to give great Christmas gifts.
The model plans to spend the festive season with husband Justin Bieber and their three dogs in his native Canada and relax in their most comfortable pyjamas on Christmas Day itself.
But when it comes to giving presents, Hailey is convinced that she’s number one in her household.
“I definitely pride myself on my gift giving,” she laughed to Vogue.com. “I enjoy giving people gifts. I don’t love receiving them if I’m honest – it makes me feel awkward.”
Despite not wanting anything for herself this year, Hailey is keen to make sure that helping others – especially women – is at the top of her to-do list in the New Year.
“The biggest goal for me for 2020 is to get more involved in things that make a difference. There’s so much going on in the world,” the 23-year-old explained. “I would love to get involved in as much as I can and lend my voice to as much as I can, and I would love to speak on more things and talk to young women and encourage people to continue making a difference.”
Wanting to use her fame and voice to instigate change in the year ahead, Hailey said she is determined to empower other women and be a positive force for change in 2020.
“I’m passionate about women taking care of women. We’ve come a long way already, especially in terms of women’s employment and women having each other’s backs. But I think we can do better – especially when it comes to educating younger women and the younger generation,” she stated. “I think we all just need to be a lot nicer.”

Hailey Bieber has dropped a major hint indicating she may be done with runway modelling.
The model launched her career in 2014 when she made her catwalk debut walking for Topshop, and since then, she has appeared in shows for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Philipp Plein, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana, Prabal Gurung, and Jeremy Scott.
But in a recent post on her Instagram Stories, Hailey shared a photo of her strutting down the catwalk during the Zadig & Voltaire fall/winter 2018 show and criticised her arm placement.
“What I do know, is that ur arm truly should never swing this high when ur walking on a runway (sic),” she captioned the image, circling her arm in blue. “Hence why it is not, and will never be my thing again lol (laugh out loud).”
Hailey did not share any further comments on her possible career move. The last major runway show she appeared in was Versace’s pre-fall 2019 show held in New York City last December.
However, shortly before the blonde star wed popstar Justin Bieber in a courthouse ceremony in September, she shared in an interview with WWD that she is planning to be more selective about her modelling gigs in the future.
“I’ve tried to be really choosy with fashion week going forward, just because I want to have the time to spend being relaxed and being with family – and my fiance,” the 22-year-old commented.
In spite of her latest social media posts, it appears Hailey is still passionate about campaign modelling, and has recently landed gigs for brands such as Miu Miu, Max Mara, Levi’s, and Carolina Herrera.

Hailey Bieber used to pretend everything was fine when, in reality, she’d be up all night crying with anxiety.
The 22-year-old model wife of Justin Bieber has been open about her struggles with self-confidence and anxiety in recent months, pledging at the start of the year to shine a light on the issue.
And talking to Glamour magazine about how easy it is to assume celebrities live the perfect life, she told the publication that people don’t see what really goes on behind the glamorous veneer.
“There was a time in the industry when it was negative to talk about that kind of stuff. Nobody wanted to talk about what was really happening, and everybody felt like there was this pressure to keep up a facade – or pressure to keep up this perfect lifestyle and make everything look really good from the outside,” she began. “(Everyone would say) ‘Oh, we’re really happy. I’m really happy. I’m doing fine,’ when really it was like you’re kind of crumbling on the inside.
“And I think I used to do that a little bit. People would ask me, ‘How are you?’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m fine; I’m good.’ But really I’d be crying in my hotel room all night. You just have to be honest that life sucks sometimes. It’s hard. Things are difficult.”
She added that by being more open, she hopes to encourage others to find solutions to the problems that plague them.
Elsewhere in the chat, Hailey explained how she likes to take time for herself whenever she gets the chance.
“It’s so important, in my opinion, to find those moments for yourself,” she said. “Especially when you’re around people all the time. Not only for work, but when you’re in a relationship too, and you’re with another person all the time. I think it’s important for both parties to be able to be, like, ‘Hey, I need an hour to myself’.”

Hailey Baldwin is using her married name to develop a new cosmetics line.
The model, who wed Justin Bieber last year (18), has filed paperwork to own the Bieber Beauty name, months after she trademarked ‘Hailey Bieber’ for potential business ventures.
Although Bieber Beauty is the 22 year old’s first foray into the makeup world, she has been the face of campaigns for Bare Minerals, L’Oreal Professionnel and Model Co.
The blonde beauty hinted at her ambitions outside of the modelling world earlier this year (19) when she revealed she had her sights set on starting a fashion brand.
“I have so many ideas, and I’m really into trends and am pretty in tune with what people my age are wearing and like to wear,” she told Elle. “Right now, I’m having a great time wearing other peoples’ designs. There are so many young talented designers out there.”
Meanwhile, the young star has been supportive of her new husband’s stylish side ventures, frequently taking to social media to promote items from his House of Drew clothing line – she posed for a photo with pal Kendall Jenner at the Coachella festival over the weekend, wearing a bandanna from the collection. Justin posted the shot on Instagram.
She was also spotted wearing a diamond-encrusted Bieber necklace.
News of Baldwin’s makeup line comes following the recent announcement of her Levi’s 501 campaign. The line features items she helped customise.
Hailey has long ties with the brand, and she famously made headlines for wearing an oversized Levi’s trucker jacket, emblazoned with the name ‘Bieber’, when she announced her marriage to the Baby hitmaker.

Hailey Bieber is obsessed with moisturising and will never get dressed without applying moisturiser first.
The model made the comments during an interview with W magazine, and suggested that she inherited the trait from her mother.
“I don’t ever get out of the bath or shower without lathering lotion all over,” she said. “My mum was always super big on moisturising, too.”
Hailey also shared her love of natural skincare, and cited natural oils – such as coconut – as her beauty staples.
“I try to use things that I don’t think are going to be too harmful or fragrance-y,” the 22-year-old reflected. “I prefer natural fragrances because your skin is the biggest organ of your body, so everything you’re putting into your skin is super important.”
The star went on to state that, while she initially hated her mother’s passion for skincare, she has grown to appreciate her efforts, and has now instilled a similarly regimented regime for herself.
In addition to making a conscious effort to wear SPF every day, Hailey revealed that she will also never go to bed without removing her make-up first.
“Every night, it’s a routine. There’s never not been a scenario where I haven’t taken my make-up off before going to sleep,” she mused. “I could have been doing all of the things and I still would have managed to take it off.”

Hailey Bieber has launched her debut swimwear line in collaboration with surfer Kelia Moniz.
The pair met when Kelia, 26, married one of Hailey’s close friends, and they have now joined forces for the new collection, labelled Sister, which will be sold exclusively through surf brand Roxy.
Hailey will produce four collections for the brand across a two-year period, the first of which launched on Tuesday evening (19Mar19).
The first season is a highly curated assortment, using pale pinks and greys mixed in with some metallics across 15 units.
While the focus is on swimwear, mainly one-pieces and bikinis, there are some graphic T-shirts. More elevated items are also included, such as a long-line, blush-coloured blazer and gauzy wide-leg trousers.
Speaking to WWD, Hailey revealed the duo’s love for their collection.
“For me, with a bathing suit in general, it’s always (about) the fit and I feel like they nailed the fits of this collection. We have similar styles. I’m just a little taller so they look good on both (myself and Kelia),” the 22-year-old said, while Kelia added: “And we don’t like really itty-bitty bottoms, so having a little more coverage. They’re very classy but flattering.”
Roxy’s global brand manager, Emilie Souvras, went on to discuss the company’s intention for the range, which she described as “tonal and super feminine”.
“We really believe what we’ll be able to achieve with this line is to speak to a mainstream consumer,” she shared. “One hundred per cent the core is obviously what matters to us, but we believe the opportunities are huge outside of the core market.”

Model Shanina Shaik has opened up about her involvement with the disastrous Fyre Festival.
The 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, who is represented by IMG, was among several fashion stars including Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Chanel Iman, Hailey Baldwin, and Emily Ratajkowski, who were reportedly paid $1.2 million (£928,000) to promote the disastrous event on social media.
In an interview with Australia’s Daily Telegraph, Shanina, one of the first models involved in the event to speak about it, admitted she was horrified by the events that unfolded when watching Netflix documentary Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened.
“I cried when I watched it,” she confessed to the newspaper of the film which lifted the lid on the events leading up to the failed festival. “It is really horrific what happened. The girls and I were just kind of dragged into it. We would never want to promote something like that or take someone’s money.”
Several of the models, including Kendall, have been subpoenaed over payments they received before Fyre Media went bankrupt.
The event promised attendees a luxury music festival experience and the opportunity to party for two weekends on an island in the Bahamas previously owned by Pablo Escobar. Instead, attendees arrived to find substandard accommodation and food shortages.
The event was abandoned and it ended with several lawsuits against its co-founders, Ja Rule and Billy McFarland. McFarland is currently serving a six-year prison sentence for fraud.
“I would never promote anything if I knew that it would have that kind of backlash or what became of that,” Shanina insisted. “I would never ever want to promote it. When a client comes to my agent and has a vision or a project they want to work with us on, my agency always makes sure we are protected and looked after.”

Justin Bieber has finally debuted his long-awaited clothing collection, Drew House.
The line features looks that appear to be inspired by the star’s signature oversized, skater-influenced style.
Photos of the items were unveiled on the brand’s Instagram account, alongside promo videos featuring models sporting the looks, which range from $48 (£35) to $148 (£115).
Among the pieces are T-shirts, pants and shorts made for both men and women, as well as scented dog tags and wrist bands.
According to a statement on the brand’s official website, the clothing is “ethically made in limited quantities in Los Angeles, USA.”
The 24 year old filed trademark applications for The House of Drew and La Maison Drew for his “clothing and wearing apparel ventures” back in February (18), and Justin first teased the collection in November (18), sharing the line’s logo on Instagram.
In December, he promoted the footwear Cheap Hotel Slippers by sharing images of the comfy items on the photo sharing site. Bieber’s wife, Hailey Baldwin, also posted photos of the product, which were a gift from the Baby hitmaker. The item quickly sold out.
Though Bieber had been spotted wearing sweatshirts of varying colours, displaying the label’s graphics, there had been no official word on when additional merchandise from Drew House would be available.
The pop sensation has been busy of late, he tied the knot with model Hailey in a low-key courthouse ceremony in New York in September (18), and sources recently told the New York Post’s Page Six that ‘Save the Date’ cards have been sent out to guests for another ceremony planned for 28 February (19).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has helped bareMinerals launch a new charity initiative.
The British supermodel was named as a new global brand ambassador for the cosmetics company last September (18), joining the likes of Hailey Baldwin, Letitia Wright, and celebrity make-up artist Nikki DeRoest.
Now, Rosie has announced bareMinerals’ Chain of Good initiative in conjunction with the unveiling of the brand’s BAREPRO Longwear Lipstick range.
“To celebrate the launch of the new lip-loving, vegan BAREPRO Longwear Lipstick, I am kicking off the @baremineralsChain of Good, which encourages all of us to share a little positivity by tagging someone who has been a force of good in your life,” she captioned a post on Instagram on Thursday (17Jan19).
“For the first 1000 Instagram posts with the hashtag #GoodThatLasts, bareMinerals will donate $10 for each post to women’s charities that encourage mentorship, entrepreneurialism and education. I am tagging my fellow @baremineralsambassador @haileybieber who is as beautiful on the inside and she is on the outside. Keep the chain going!”
The Chain of Good initiative will run until 21 January. Rosie stepped out at an event in Los Angeles on Thursday to promote the new lipstick, which has been described as the “first long-wear, vegan lipstick, rich in nourishing minerals”.
She sported a white shirt and black trousers from The Row for the day, and teamed the look with Jimmy Choo stilettos and Vhernier jewellery.
While Rosie has previously fronted campaigns for ModelCo and Burberry Body, she recently shared that teaming with bareMinerals was a natural fit because she is such a fan of the New York-based company’s formulas.
“I love to champion brands that celebrate beauty in the right way and I’m proud to be a part of bareMinerals. As a mum and model, I don’t have time to compromise – I need reliable products that can deliver strong colour payoff and are also good for my skin,” the 31-year-old commented.

Hailey Baldwin makes a point of ensuring her outfits are “attainable” for her fans.
The model has landed several high-profile gigs in recent months, including campaigns for clothing brands Tommy Hilfiger and PrettyLittleThing, as well as for beauty company bareMinerals.
While Hailey loves experimenting with fashion and trends, she has now discussed how she thinks it is important for her to be seen in items accessible to her followers.
“I’m so into clothes and fashion. I like being put together. I love looking cool, but I also feel like that can be done in sweats and a big coat and sneakers,” she said in an interview with Buzzfeed. “I just think there’s something so cool about natural beauty and just being able to just be yourself. I think attainability is much more attractive than when you see a picture of somebody that you admire and you’re like, ‘That’s just unattainable to me.'”
Hailey, who wed Canadian popstar Justin Bieber last September (18), went on to state that she finds putting extravagant outfits together to be “exhausting”.
And she tries to present her most authentic self on her social media platforms, especially as young women make up such a large portion of her nearly 17 million followers on Instagram.
“Everything on the Internet, at some point, it’s like it’s a false reality. That’s just what it is. You’re looking at people’s lives through photos, and you’re not seeing their actual life. For me, social media has much more become about work. I use it as a tool more than I use it as something to show off my life. I also like it to be able to stay in touch with followers and people that have supported me,” the 22-year-old noted.
Elsewhere in the chat, Hailey explained that she will delete social media apps from her phone for days or weeks if she finds the platform to become too overwhelming, and regularly practices self-care by watching a movie or visiting a spa.
