Hailey Bieber has dropped a major hint indicating she may be done with runway modelling.

The model launched her career in 2014 when she made her catwalk debut walking for Topshop, and since then, she has appeared in shows for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Philipp Plein, Moschino, Dolce & Gabbana, Prabal Gurung, and Jeremy Scott.

But in a recent post on her Instagram Stories, Hailey shared a photo of her strutting down the catwalk during the Zadig & Voltaire fall/winter 2018 show and criticised her arm placement.

“What I do know, is that ur arm truly should never swing this high when ur walking on a runway (sic),” she captioned the image, circling her arm in blue. “Hence why it is not, and will never be my thing again lol (laugh out loud).”

Hailey did not share any further comments on her possible career move. The last major runway show she appeared in was Versace’s pre-fall 2019 show held in New York City last December.

However, shortly before the blonde star wed popstar Justin Bieber in a courthouse ceremony in September, she shared in an interview with WWD that she is planning to be more selective about her modelling gigs in the future.

“I’ve tried to be really choosy with fashion week going forward, just because I want to have the time to spend being relaxed and being with family – and my fiance,” the 22-year-old commented.

In spite of her latest social media posts, it appears Hailey is still passionate about campaign modelling, and has recently landed gigs for brands such as Miu Miu, Max Mara, Levi’s, and Carolina Herrera.

Hailey Bieber and Adut Akech have been tapped to star in Miu Miu’s fall/winter 2019 campaign.

The top models front the Italian fashion label’s latest marketing imagery, which was shot at the Paws Up ranch in the Montana state countryside by photographer Eddie Wrey and directed by stylist Katie Grand.

One shot sees Hailey and Adut pose in floral print dresses with furry scarves and clutch leather handbags, while another close-up snap depicts them standing together in a grassy paddock.

Regarding the concept behind the shoot, a Miu Miu representative commented that the idea was to capture “an exploration of youth and the great outdoors”.

“It is a universal landscape of open skies, wide horizons, infinite possibilities – of idyllic landscapes and elysian fields, of immersion in nature and strength in numbers,” they stated. “Camouflaged in camouflage, laid against rural panoramas of field and forest illuminated by the first blush of summer, these pictures express a yearning for escape, a turn to the natural, a freedom.”

Among the other models to appear in the photoshoot, which is set in the golden hour, are Jean Campbell, Abby Champion, Tang He, Meghan Roche, and Aliet Sarah.

Group shots see the models standing in a shallow river and sporting retro print floral dresses as well as sitting together in a field while outfitted in party dresses and costume jewellery.

“The spirit of this band of women, of their shared stories and relationships, is expressed through pictures composed like spontaneous snapshots, capturing intimate moments of bonding, of connections forged, charting an ever-evolving quest. They are a community at one, in turn communing with Mother Nature. Their confidence, their sovereignty – is at the fore,” the representative added.

Hailey Bieber’s trademark request for beauty line rejected

Hailey Bieber’s request to trademark the name of her planned beauty line has been rejected because of her husband Justin Bieber.

The 22-year-old had reportedly filed for a Beauty Bieber trademark, according to The Blast, as she had planned on launching her own beauty and cosmetics line.

But the application has been refused by officials at the United States Patent and Trademark Office because of a possible confusion with trademarks already owned by her Sorry hitmaker husband.

Hailey’s application for Beauty Bieber was officially rejected due to a “likelihood of confusion” and “similarity of marks” to Justin’s trademark, which he applied for back in 2003, when he was just nine years old. The timing of the trademark is unusual, as Justin didn’t release his first solo album, My World, until 2009.

The Canadian pop star had registered his name for products such as cosmetics, fragrances, soaps, shampoos and lotions.

Hailey’s line of cosmetics would mark her debut solo beauty line, after her previous collaborations with brands including bareMinerals.

And while his wife is experiencing a setback with her collection, Justin recently partnered with bosses at U.S. company Schmidt’s to develop his own deodorant, called Here + Now, which is set to hit retailers this autumn.

Despite her filing for Beauty Bieber being rejected, Hailey has other possibilities, as she trademarked her married name in October, just weeks after the couple’s intimate courthouse wedding in New York.

Hailey and Justin are reportedly planning on throwing a huge wedding bash for family and friends in September, a year after they tied the knot.

Edward Enninful has unearthed footage from one of Naomi Campbell’s first photoshoots.

The British Vogue editor-in-chief took to Instagram to mark the supermodel’s 49th birthday on Wednesday, and alongside a sweet message, uploaded a vintage video from 1986.

Depicting Naomi modelling for her long-time collaborator, photographer Steven Meisel, the imagery shows her posing up a storm in a black dress.

“In honour of @naomi’s birthday today – UNSEEN footage of a 16-year-old #naomi working with #StevenMeisel for the 1st time. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOVE YOU,” Edward captioned the clip.

Naomi also shared the same video with her seven million Instagram followers, adding, “UNSEEN FOOTAGE 86!! BABY OMI (Naomi) 16 MY FIRST DAY IN NEW YORK CITY WORKING WITH STEVEN MEISEL.”

The video quickly drew the attention of both Edward and Naomi’s celebrity pals.

Christy Turlington simply wrote, “Love Love Love,” in the comments section, while Cindy Bruna noted, “Wow!! forever an inspiration. Happy birthdayyyy Queen!!!!!! (sic).”

Shalom Harlow, Jameela Jamil, Emilia Wickstead, Hailey Bieber, Lily Aldridge, and Linda Evangelista also gushed over the clip, and Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox described her as a “living legend”.

“Incredible. Happy birthday queen. In the early stages of me claiming my womanhood you were a beacon of beauty and power that I tried to emulate but there is only one Naomi. Thank you for existing and continuing to embody the highest of high fashion, elegance and effortless excellence. You continue to change the game and set new standards. You are truly a living legend and beyond!” the actress wrote.

Meanwhile, Naomi’s protege Adut Akech shared a snap of her posing with the model on her Instagram page, calling her an “actual queen”.

“This lady here means so much to me. Today she is more than just someone I looked up growing up and inspiring me to model. @naomi you’re one of the most loving, caring, inspiring lady with the biggest heart that I’ve ever met,” the 19-year-old praised.

Designers and models slam Alabama’s controversial anti-abortion law

Top fashion designers and models are among those slamming Alabama’s new anti-abortion law.

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed into law the controversial bill on Wednesday evening, after senators from the U.S. State passed the bill late the previous day, with the law only allowing for terminations of ectopic pregnancy, if the unborn child has a “lethal anomaly” or to “avoid a serious health risk to the unborn child’s mother”.

Under the legislation, doctors who perform abortions may face life in prison, and while Democrats attempted to re-introduce an amendment to exempt rape and incest victims, they were unsuccessful – with a number of members of the fashion community now speaking out over the divisive law.

Taking to Instagram, Zac Posen uploaded a picture of a poster with the words, “Abortion is a personal decision, not a legal debate,” and in the caption wrote, “Deeply shocked and disappointed by Alabama criminalising abortion. I know from my mother what it was like for women before Roe v. Wade. Women’s rights are human rights. Let’s move forward, not backwards.”

In her statement, Ivey commented that she was aware the new law may be unenforceable due to the Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v Wade decision in 1973 which legalised abortion in all 50 states, but insisted that the new regulation was passed with the aim of challenging that law.

Elsewhere, luxury footwear designer Brian Atwood shared vintage images of women fighting for the right to have abortions and added, “Total BS!!! Alabama wake the f**k up! We will not stand for this!!!! Men will not govern a woman’s body!!!!”

While model Bella Hadid reposted a comment on the issue penned by artist Petra Collins, and Hailey Bieber shared a Twitter user’s post on her Instagram Stories in which they pointed out that the 22 Alabama senators who voted for the bill were all male.

Other A-listers including Lady Gaga, Alyssa Milano, Sarah Silverman, Ava DuVernay, Chris Evans, and Padma Lakshmi have all spoken out over the law too.

The bill will not take effect for six months after becoming law.

Hailey Bieber brought sweet and sexy to the 2019 Met Gala red carpet courtesy of Alexander Wang.

Looking stunning in a custom baby pink sequin gown with long sleeves, a mock neck, and a low-cut back that revealed a crystal embellished logo thong, Bieber posed up a storm outside New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday.

“We wanted to show the duality of something sweet and demure with a little something naughty and sexy in the back,” Wang told Vogue.

And it seems the model was dropping hints over her dress designer hours before she stepped out at the Met Gala, which had the theme of Camp: Notes on Fashion.

She donned a leather jacket and mini dress designed by Wang on Monday day, which her stylist Maeve Reilly said was their way of teasing who’d be dressing her that night.

“We wanted to wear Wang to give peeps a little hint before the big night,” Reilly smiled.

To finish the look, Bieber wore embellished heels from Wang’s line, which matched her on underwear, as well as Bulgari diamonds, and a Barbie-inspired high ponytail created by A-list hairstylist Jen Atkin.

“It’s about having fun on your own terms,” Wang said, with Bieber adding: “Everybody has their own idea about what camp is, what is over-the-top for them.”

While the blonde’s look was a hit with critics, some pointed out the outfit was similar to one previously worn by actress Gillian Anderson.

And the comparison didn’t escape The X-Files star’s attention, as she posted a photo of herself in the black backless dress, which showed off her matching thong.

“Another example of necessity being the mother of invention. @haileybieber#metgala2019 #vanityfair2001,” she captioned the photo.

Hailey Bieber has hit back at fans who criticised her for being too tanned.

The beauty is currently on vacation with husband Justin Bieber in the Bahamas, where the pair first became engaged in July last year (18).

On Sunday (29Apr19), the star took to her Instagram Stories to slam fans that had criticised her newly-tanned appearance, and joked that she’ll try to avoid the sun for the rest of her break.

“So today the internet is mad at me for getting too tan!!! shoot!!!” the model quipped. “I’ll do my best not to get so much sun next time I’m on vacation!”

The online criticism is nothing new for the high-profile couple, and Hailey used her Instagram Stories once again last week to clap back at trolls that had suggested that her Love Yourself hitmaker husband “belongs” with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, 26.

“You little internet kiddos need to learn how to move on for real,” the 22-year-old beauty began the post. “We’re adults that have better things to do than waste time explaining something just so you can stop your delusional fantasies.”

In a separate post, Hailey used the platform to remind her followers that nobody is perfect.

“Just a reminder: none of us have this thing called life figured out,” she stated.

Justin, 25, also addressed the fans’ comments, and pleaded with them to stop speculating about the couple’s relationship online.

“Please stop reading into things so much and making something out of nothing,” he stated in a post.

Hailey Bieber has hit back at online trolls who scrutinise her relationship with husband Justin Bieber.

The model took to her Instagram Stories to address talk that she and the 25-year-old Sorry hitmaker were going through a rough patch, and insisted that fans should focus on their own lives instead of hers.

“I’m not gonna sit here and let obsessive strangers try to tell me about my own husband, you wanna talk about somebodies husband then get ur own (sic)” she fumed.

The star went on to slam fans’ “delusional” behaviour, and remained adamant that she felt no pressure to explain her relationship in light of comments made online.

The star’s comments come shortly after a source close to the couple claimed to U.S. OK! Magazine that the pair had split over arguments surrounding her rumoured pregnancy.

“The word is that they recently got into a terrible fight – and Justin walked out and ended things for good,” the insider told the publication. “The whole thing is a mess and is really putting a damper on parenthood.”

Hailey Bieber: ‘Everyone thought I was happy but I’d spend my evenings crying alone’

Hailey Bieber used to pretend everything was fine when, in reality, she’d be up all night crying with anxiety.

The 22-year-old model wife of Justin Bieber has been open about her struggles with self-confidence and anxiety in recent months, pledging at the start of the year to shine a light on the issue.

And talking to Glamour magazine about how easy it is to assume celebrities live the perfect life, she told the publication that people don’t see what really goes on behind the glamorous veneer.

“There was a time in the industry when it was negative to talk about that kind of stuff. Nobody wanted to talk about what was really happening, and everybody felt like there was this pressure to keep up a facade – or pressure to keep up this perfect lifestyle and make everything look really good from the outside,” she began. “(Everyone would say) ‘Oh, we’re really happy. I’m really happy. I’m doing fine,’ when really it was like you’re kind of crumbling on the inside.

“And I think I used to do that a little bit. People would ask me, ‘How are you?’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m fine; I’m good.’ But really I’d be crying in my hotel room all night. You just have to be honest that life sucks sometimes. It’s hard. Things are difficult.”

She added that by being more open, she hopes to encourage others to find solutions to the problems that plague them.

Elsewhere in the chat, Hailey explained how she likes to take time for herself whenever she gets the chance.

“It’s so important, in my opinion, to find those moments for yourself,” she said. “Especially when you’re around people all the time. Not only for work, but when you’re in a relationship too, and you’re with another person all the time. I think it’s important for both parties to be able to be, like, ‘Hey, I need an hour to myself’.”
