Vera Wang has stunned fans on social media by sharing a snap of herself wearing a sports bra.

The 70-year-old designer has been taking part in tongue-in-cheek photoshoots while self-isolating in Miami, Florida during the coronavirus lockdown, and in one set of snaps posted on Instagram, Wang showcased her enviably toned abs, arms, and legs while wearing an orange Palm Angels sports bra, white denim shorts, a black hoodie slung around her shoulders, and a bejewelled clip in her long black hair.

“Category is… Backyard bling,” Wang captioned the shots, and later wrote in the comments: “When a bit of bling is needed…”

The pictures went viral after one fan spotted Wang’s age-defying figure and shared the snaps on Twitter.

“THIS B**** VERA WANG IS 70?!?!” they wrote, alongside two pictures of the iconic wedding dress designer.

Wang later replied to the tweet by simply stating: “Fact Check: Truth.”

“Tell us where the fountain of youth is please,” one fan asked, while another joked: “Tell us your secrets.”

Wang also shared another set of photos on Instagram, showing her wearing the white denim shorts paired with a graphic T-shirt, a snakeskin neon jacket, printed stilettos, and a bandana.

“Who says you can’t dress up to #stayhome? Cocktail hour….. puffer on the patio,” she wrote in the caption, and later posted another at-home photoshoot featuring her wearing a bright orange floor-length gown teamed with a matching face mask.

The designer recently told Harper’s Bazaar magazine that she’s been working out almost daily while in lockdown throughout the Covid-19 pandemic and her “workday fashion family” has been keeping her motivated.

Halima Aden is using her free time in lockdown to come up with new ways to style her hijab.

The model gained notice in 2016 when she became the first contestant in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant to wear a burkini and hijab, and she broke down barriers even further last year when she became the first model to wear them on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Aden was also the first hijab-wearing model to walk international runways and to be signed to a major agency, with her modelling contract stating that the headscarf is a non-negotiable part of her work.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the 22-year-old, who is spending quarantine with her family in Minnesota, shared that she was using the downtime from her hectic schedule to find new ways to style her wardrobe staple.

“For me, this has been the perfect time to experiment and come up with new hijab and turban styles and to get creative with my staple wardrobe item, the headscarf. My followers are always asking for scarf tutorials so you may be seeing some fresh looks soon!” she said.

Aden also revealed that she has been keeping her spirits up and staying hopeful by using her mother’s mantra – “Tough times never last, but strong people do” – and writing thank you notes.

“I think we all have so much to be grateful for and it’s the perfect time to reflect on our blessings and let those who have positively impacted our lives know we appreciate them,” the model explained. “We will get through this. It’s important for everyone to remember that and to have hope that we will come out of this – in some aspects, in a better place than we were before.”

Elsewhere, Aden shared that she has been spreading hope from home by continuing her work with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and advocating for companies and organisations who are helping communities around the world during the pandemic.

Lucy Hale always keeps her kitchen stocked with a wide variety of snacks.

In a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, the Pretty Little Liars actress candidly discussed her diet and favourite foods, insisting that she “snacks 24/7”.

“I’m the biggest snacker. I love pita bread and any kind of hummus… celery hearts, it’s the centre of the celery – the best part – and carrots, but I also love this candy called Smart Sweets, it’s like the ‘healthier’ candy. Peach rings, Swedish fish, gummy bears,” said Lucy. “My mom used to say, even as a little girl, she would have to fill her purse with snacks because the second (I) turned hungry, it was game over. I still, till this day, get really hangry, but I’m not screaming and crying anymore. I (just) can’t focus, I can’t talk, I get irritable. I love snacking.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the star shared that she looks forward to breakfast each day, whether it be a protein bar on the run or a full sit-down meal.

“I think about breakfast all the time,” the 30-year-old admitted. “I like all the meals, but I think breakfast is definitely my favourite. But my breakfast can vary from a peanut butter Perfect food bar to chocolate chip pancakes, with bacon and eggs. Just kind of depends on the day.”

And Lucy’s breakfast isn’t complete without a cup of coffee – though she is missing visiting her favourite cafes while in lockdown during the coronavirus crisis.

“I’ve been really becoming buddies with my Keurig (coffee machine),” she joked. “And I like a lot of creamer with my coffee. I’m slowly trying to work my way down to black coffee, because Lord knows how much sugar I’m having in the morning. But you know what? It really gets me going.”

Tyra Banks has detailed her unconventional method for making the perfect bagel.

In a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, the model/entrepreneur candidly discussed her diet and favourite foods, noting that she treats eating out like a “hobby”.

But Tyra’s preferred breakfast is a bagel and she has come up with an inventive way to cram as much cream cheese into each one as possible.

“I take my bagel, a plain bagel on a day that I’m going to be in front of somebody’s face, onion bagel if I’m not going to be speaking closely to people. I cut the bagel in half and scoop out all of that extra ‘bagelisation’ and put that on the side. And then I take my whipped cream cheese and I dig deep into the entire pot of it and I fill up the entire scooped out bagel rounds like a moat,” she explained. “But I’m not finished yet… I put it in the microwave and set it for 20 seconds. What starts to happen is the molecular makeup of the cream cheese starts to change. It’s not just heated, oh no, it’s creamy and has a slightly tart flavour.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Tyra shared that she loves to snack on corn chips, sesame bars, natural liquorice, bean chips, and cauliflower puffs when taking breaks from working on her upcoming ModelLand theme park. And when she has a little spare time, she will make her own candied bacon pieces.

“I take bacon, it must be cured and it must be smoky. And I create a sauce on the side that has maple syrup, but it has to be fake maple syrup – not that fancy Canadian stuff – and some Sriracha. I mix it into this wonderful elixir and then I dip the bacon in that, lay the bacon out (on a tray), grind pepper all over it,” the 46-year-old stated. “It starts to crystallise and caramelise (in the oven). It comes out of the oven and it is almost like candy. It is so good!”

Tyra Banks has gained around 30 pounds over the course of a year.

In a new video for Harper’s Bazaar, the model/entrepreneur candidly discussed her diet and favourite foods, noting that she treats eating out like a “hobby”.

“I have a very interesting relationship with food. I have to say that it is one of the most important things in my life,” she stated. “A lot of my personal life, and the things that I like to do and my hobby is food. Finding new restaurants, doing a challenge where I can’t go to the same restaurant twice again for six months, finding food festivals – I love a supper club.”

However, Tyra’s passion for trying new foods and eateries has led her to gain between 25 and 30 pounds (11 to 13 kilograms) since she came out of retirement and appeared on the cover of the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue last May.

“Right now, you can’t tell because I have on a men’s blazer, (but) I am 25 pounds heavier than I was on the cover of a very famous swimsuit magazine that came out last year,” the 46-year-old commented. “It’s like, when you’re tired and you’re working hard, you just go to this fast food and this fast food and this fast food, and you compare the burgers! So, I’m 30 pounds heavier and it’ll come off one day, but not today.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Tyra shared that she loves to snack on corn chips, sesame bars, natural liquorice, bean chips, and cauliflower puffs when taking breaks from working on her upcoming ModelLand theme park. And at the end of the day, she will sometimes order the same dish from two different restaurants.

“I do it with my son, I do it with my man, we line it up and then we score the different restaurants with the same item. What happens is, the next time you order, you know where to order from because one of them is always nasty,” she smiled.

Gigi Hadid has divided fans after admitting she likes to eat French fries dipped in mashed potato.

The model appears in a photoshoot for the April 2020 issue of U.S. Harper’s Bazaar magazine, and in an accompanying article, was asked by Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski how she discovered the snack.

“I don’t remember exactly what night this was, but it was probably after a few passion fruit martinis at Le Chalet at L’Avenue at Saks, which makes my favourite mashed potatoes on the planet,” she replied. “We must have run out of ketchup, so I dipped the fries in the mashed potatoes – and eureka!”

However, the online response to Gigi’s carb-loaded dish was mixed.

“We’ve all made a mistake or two after a passion fruit martini, but this is too far!” one follower wrote on Twitter, while another added: “Technically it’s potato on potato but that’s still kinda weird.”

But one fan pointed out that most people would have tried the French fries and mashed potatoes at fast food restaurants.

“Y’all never been to KFC??” they asked.

Elsewhere in the Harper’s Bazaar chat, Gigi was asked by TV host Jimmy Fallon about her favourite hamburgers at the moment.

“I got to go back to L.A. for the Tom Ford show this past fashion week, and as a California kid, I will always have a huge place in my heart for In-N-Out’s Double-Double Animal Style,” the 24-year-old insisted. “But since you and I always talk NYC burgers, I just tried Hall on West 20th Street. It’s the cutest little place. First come, first served. Simple but great burger and fries. And you get a yuzu lemonade with the lunch special-all for $12!”

Gigi Hadid makes her own furniture to wind down during “healing” retreats at her family farm in Pennsylvania.

In a new interview with U.S. Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the model was asked a series of questions from her famous friends, including singer Taylor Swift, tennis ace Serena Williams, and Louis Vuitton menswear designer Virgil Abloh.

However, it was a query posed by fellow model Kendall Jenner that prompted Gigi to share her love for relaxation at her mother Yolanda Hadid’s luxurious country farm.

“It’s allowed me to fill my days off with the little things that make me happy, like art, gardening, yoga, cooking, being outside, and spending time with my loved ones and animals without having to worry about things like what I’m wearing or how my hair looks, or being photographed or seen that day,” she candidly stated. “Being away from the city and the public eye makes me feel like a kid again, and that freedom has been really healing for me.”

And it was a question from actress Blake Lively, who quizzed the 24-year-old over her newfound love of making her own chairs, that shed light on Gigi’s unusual hobby.

“When I’m spending time on the farm, I find it fun to try something new and see if I can pull it off,” the star explained. “It’s liberating to just create without the end goal of it being necessary to finish. The chair idea came from that.”

And while Gigi “failed miserably” in her first attempt, she has since successfully made her own chair.

“I like the ‘Try and fail and try again’ method. It keeps it fun and interesting for me, and even through failures you can learn so much,” she added.

Pregnant singer Grimes is a big fan of eating butter-soaked toast for breakfast.

The Canadian star, who is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Elon Musk, has opened up about her diet and favourite foods in a new video for Harper’s Bazaar.

Noting that she typically stays up most of the night and wakes up about midday, Grimes began by detailing her recipe for an “incredible” snack.

“Lately, I’ve been waking up (and) making this thing called butter toast, which is where I melt like a stick of butter on a plate and put toast in it, so the toast is completely saturated in butter,” she explained. “And then I put a little bit of jam on it and eat that. It’s actually incredible. This butter technique is great.”

While pregnant, Grimes has cut back on caffeine and typically has a Go Cube or cup of matcha to help wake herself up in the morning. The Genesis hitmaker has also been eating more fruits, vegetables, and fortified cereals, even though she’s not much of a fan.

“I basically hate everything besides carbs and fat. I actually dislike vegetables, pointedly. But they’re important to eat. Like, broccoli, what the f**k? it’s actually disgusting, I don’t know how anybody eats that,” the 31-year-old laughed.

Elsewhere in the chat, Grimes shared that she loves to eat Japanese noodles, hot dogs, spaghetti, and dumplings, and never restricts herself.

“I don’t do cheat meals because I don’t believe in dieting. There’s a lot of bad s**t in society about body image and stuff. I try to eat what I want,” she insisted. “But my comfort food is Miss Vickie’s Salt and Vinegar chips. Specifically, binge eating Miss Vickie’s Salt and Vinegar chips while watching TV is one of the best experiences you can have.”

Anya Taylor-Joy relied upon her corset to help her get into the mindset of her character in Emma.

The Split actress portrays upper-class wannabe matchmaker Emma Woodhouse in Autumn de Wilde’s new adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic novel Emma, which is set in the Georgian Regency era.

The 23-year-old had to wear corsets underneath the elaborate period costumes, and she admitted to U.S. Harper’s Bazaar magazine that getting laced into the restrictive garment at the start of every shoot day helped her channel Emma.

“It was so important to me to get it right because I was so possessed by Emma,” she said. “About two weeks in, I actually started relying on my corset to help me get the work done. The second my corset was put on, I was like, ‘I know what I’m doing. I’ve got this. It’s all going to be fine.’ I just had to be laced in first.”

When asked if she would occasionally wear sneakers to give her feet a break during close-up shots, Taylor-Joy insists both her and de Wilde were strict about staying in costume for the whole shoot.

“Not ever. I would never, could never. Autumn and I are not those sorts of people,” the star continued. “I think the most lenient I ever got was allowing my corset to be loosened a little bit. If I was in severe pain, then we would loosen it. But it was all authentic.”

De Wilde flew to New York to meet with Taylor-Joy and the actress “instantly fell in love with her”. Yet, she also was daunted about appearing in Emma because the character is so tricky to define.

“I thought, ‘Here is a character that is so difficult to pin down. Her emotions are flitting around so quickly. You can’t decide whether she’s an entitled princess or she’s amazing,’” she shared. “The idea of getting to try and figure out how to play a character that changes on a switch really appealed to me.”

Emma is in cinemas now.

Kylie Jenner combats late-night food cravings by keeping an apple by her bed.

The reality TV star has opened up about all of her favourite foods in a video for the Harper’s Bazaar YouTube channel, noting that she will often start her day with bone broth or celery juice and often snacks on pomegranate seeds, chips, or miso soup.

While Kylie isn’t afraid to treat herself, she avoids eating candy in the evening by eating an apple instead.

“I avoid late-night cravings because I lock myself in my bedroom and I turn on my TV,” she shared. “I get really comfortable and I pre-slice an apple by my bed. Since I’m really comfortable, I’ll be too lazy, probably, to go downstairs to the kitchen. So, my only choice is the apple.”

Kylie went on to explain that her go-to lunch options are lemon chicken, tacos, steak burritos, rice, enchiladas, tuna sandwiches, or kale salad.

But when she was pregnant with her daughter Stormi Webster, now two, she had major cravings for fast food chain In-N-Out Burger.

“In-N-Out. It’s just for me. When I was pregnant, I had to eat In-N-Out at least once a week – it was a problem!” the 22-year-old laughed. “I’ll either do a double cheeseburger with just special sauce and grilled onions. I’ll get it protein-style or not, depending on the mood, fries well-done, and a Coke.”

Elsewhere in the chat, Kylie divulged that she tries to keep her diet as balanced and interesting as possible, but insisted regular meals and snacks are very important to her.

“If there was a face of ‘hangry’, it would be me. I would be the face of hangry. And Stormi has it too… because when that little girl is a little hungry, she turns into a different baby,” she smiled.
