Vanessa Hudgens has added to her body art collection by getting a tattoo of a nude angel.

The Bad Boys For Life star shared an image of her latest addition on Instagram on Thursday, showing off the new design on the right side of her body near her ribcage. It features an angel with wings wearing no clothes with a star above her head.

“Divine feminine angel. not me…. my tat. But you can call me that, if you want to. #thirstythursday @drag_ink,” Vanessa wrote alongside the picture.

The artwork received praise from Vanessa’s celebrity followers in comments, with Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland writing, “I love her. And you,” and Orange is the New Black’s Jackie Cruz posting, “Wow he’s genius.”

Vanessa, 31, also shared a video clip of the first moment she saw her tattoo, with her running over to the mirror to take a look before gasping in admiration, as renowned tattoo artist Dragon of New York City’s Bang Bang Tattoo parlour could be seen giving a thumbs up in the background.

“Lol (laugh out loud) this was the first time I saw it. I never peeked. Hilarious. I love @drag_ink so damn much. What. A. Legend,” the actress captioned the video.

The Spring Breakers star is adding to her tattoo collection after splitting from her boyfriend of more than eight years, Austin Butler, back in January.

Later that same month, Vanessa enlisted the talents of Bang Bang to etch a sunflower on the side of her left breast, and she showcased the ink in a series of racy snaps on Instagram.

Ashley Tisdale is shuttering her beauty brand, Illuminate Cosmetics.

The High School Musical actress launched her make-up company back in 2016, with the label offering up budget-friendly eyeshadow palettes, brush sets, lip glosses, and highlighter kits.

However, Ashley took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she is closing Illuminate Cosmetics in order to focus on her Hollywood career.

“Hey guys! I’m so sorry for the sad news but I will be shutting down Illuminate Cosmetics, it’s been quite a journey and I thank all of my customers and supporters for coming along (for) the ride,” she wrote. “It started four years ago and as you all know I’ve been trying to run it alone and with my TV shows and movies I just haven’t been able to give illuminate the focus it has needed.”

Ashley is currently appearing in U.S. sitcom Carol’s Second Act and Netflix holiday series Merry Happy Whatever. She also released her third studio album, Symptoms, last year.

And further on in her post, the star indicated that she had struggled to keep Illuminate Cosmetics afloat due to the number of other celebrity brands, such as Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, already competing in the market.

“I won’t call this a failure as I have learned so much with taking over the company. I will just say that with the overwhelming market in make-up I just lost my passion for Illuminate. I came into make-up early on but now that everyone is jumping into it, I feel it’s my time to step out. Don’t worry this isn’t the end to me being creative, it’s just the end for this brand in particular. I love you guys,” the 34-year-old concluded.

Ashley Tisdale has noticed a change in her complexion since she gave up eating dairy products.

The actress/singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a close-up clip focused on her flawless face, and in the accompanying caption, told her followers that while she uses luxury brands such as La Mer, her glowing skin is down to one inexpensive lifestyle change.

“Skin never looked so good,” the 34-year-old wrote. “I would love to say it’s just the products I use but I’ve been dairy-free for five years and I swear it changed everything with my skin.

“I barely break out. I know it’s hard to give up something but when you do after a while you barely crave it and I feel healthier.”

While acne flare-ups can be associated with dairy products such as milk and cheese, they can also be attributed to a diet that contains sugar, alcohol, and processed carbohydrates.

Previously, Ashley opened up on her decision to cut down on her consumption of animal products after discovering that she was reacting badly to them.

“What you eat and finding out what you are sensitive to food-wise is important, too, because your skin is a reflection of what you are ingesting. So, if something breaks you out, doing a journal of what you ate that day and seeing how your skin reacts is helpful,” the High School Musical star told Haute Living magazine last year.

Vanessa Hudgens is open to working with controversial filmmaker Woody Allen.

Several actors and actresses have expressed regret about working with the Annie Hall director after his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow publicly repeated allegations that he sexually assaulted her when she was a child in the ’90s, claims Allen has repeatedly denied.

Allen’s last film, A Rainy Day in New York, was shelved, a four-picture deal with Amazon Studios was scrapped, and most big-name actors will no longer work with him as a consequence of the allegations.

However, the controversy has not put off the High School Musical star, who has cited him as one of the top directors she’d like to work with, alongside the likes of Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Yorgos Lanthimos.

“I love Woody Allen films. Vicky Christina Barcelona is one of my favourite movies,” she told the Los Angeles Times.

When asked about the allegations of sexual abuse against the Midnight in Paris director, Vanessa added: “I don’t know him. I’ve never met him. I only know what I’ve heard. And the fact is, I love his films and I love the romantic worlds that are created within (them).”

Her comments sparked backlash on social media, with one user writing, “Who knew Vanessa Hudgens would disappoint everyone by wanting to work with Woody Allen before 2019 ended?” and another posting, “Vanessa hudgens supporting woody allen….. i don’t think i’ve ever felt this BETRAYED (sic).”

A third asked, “What on God’s earth possessed vanessa hudgens to kiss woody allen’s a*s like that (sic)?”

Hudgens, who is yet to respond to the comments, gave the interview to promote her new festive movie The Knight Before Christmas, which is now streaming on Netflix.

Vanessa Hudgens will be a triple threat in the sequel to hit Netflix movie The Princess Switch.

In last year’s festive film, the actress doubled up as European royal Duchess Margaret Montenaro, who convinces her doppelganger, American baker Stacy DeNovo, to switch lives so she can be a normal girl for once.

Now, Hudgens will be playing three lookalikes in the follow-up, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, which will go into production next month.

“In the sequel, Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne and hits a rough patch with (boyfriend) Kevin, so it’s up to Stacy to save the day before a new lookalike – party girl Fiona – foils their plans,” a spokesperson for the streaming service confirmed in a post on Twitter on Tuesday.

The whimsical romantic comedy will be produced by Hudgens and directed by Mike Rohl, who helmed the first movie.

The High School Musical star previously admitted that using different accents for the characters was “confusing”, and said it was a challenging project.

“It was very confusing! There are the two characters and then they switch, so trying to figure out if I was American trying to be British, or British pretending to be American, it was definitely a confusing situation,” Hudgens shared.

The Princess Switch was compared the 1998 remake of the classic movie The Parent Trap, which starred Lindsay Lohan as twins Hallie Parker and Annie James. Accordingly, Hudgens was blown away by the praise.

“I’ve seen that movie so many times. My sister and I used to act out the scenes from the movie. It’s still such a go-to of mine. If I still love it, hopefully, this will be a classic for my fans and that they’ll still watch it,” the 30-year-old shared.

The Princess Switch: Switched Again will be released on Netflix in 2020.

Ashley Tisdale was such a fan of her character’s wardrobe in High School Musical, she took all the items home with her.

The actress, who portrayed Sharpay Evans in the hit TV and film franchise, kept the pieces for herself against the wishes of studio bosses at Disney, the company behind the production.

In a new interview with Buzzfeed, the 33 year old admits she thought all the items could double up as red carpet attire.

“A lot of our clothes (from the show) are in like, hall of fames (sic), and they didn’t have Sharpay’s stuff,” the actress and singer explains. “Disney tried so hard to get the clothes from me and I was like, ‘No, this is mine’. So, yeah, they don’t have any of the clothes from the first movie. I do.”

The star also looked back on her embarrassing fashion choices early in her career, but insists she’s still proud of a lot of the things she wore.

“I remember wearing flip flops on the carpet and army fatigue pants,” she said. “I was like, ‘This is what I’m going to wear to a red carpet. I’m so cool’.”

Tisdale, who has been busy promoting new items from her makeup collection with BH cosmetics, insists she felt really free with her style at the time: “I can say that, for me, some of those images are so funny,” she recently told Paper. “Looking back sometimes, I’m just like, ‘What was I thinking?’ But at the same time, I realise that I was so confident.

“I think that that is such a beautiful thing in those images. As you obviously grow up in this business, and then you become more in the spotlight, people are obviously criticising you and you’re changing things. I just look back, and I’m like, ‘You know what, that is awesome’. I could not care and I just did my thing. And that’s just amazing!”

Vanessa Hudgens struggled to focus on acting while she was surrounded by dogs in her latest film.

The actress stars in family-friendly flick Dog Days, in which the lives of a group of Los Angeles residents become interconnected thanks to their pet pooches.

And though Vanessa insisted the animal-filled feature was “perfect” for her, she was constantly distracted by her canine co-stars.

“My biggest challenge, working on set, was just that I wanted to play with the dogs,” she laughed in an interview with Collider. “They were just so adorable. In between takes, I was definitely sneaking off and you could find me in a pit of puppies.”

And the dog-loving High School Musical star praised the animals for being the most well-behaved and well-trained that she’s ever been around.

In fact, she loved them so much that she didn’t mind them dominating the camera’s attention.

“They all stole the spotlight, all the time, because they’re so adorable,” she gushed. “I was glad to hand the spotlight over to them. I love dogs so much. Anytime they have a moment to shine, I feel like such a proud parent, even though I have no connection to this dog, whatsoever.”

When it comes to highlights, she recalled a very funny moment involving one of the dogs and her co-star Jon Bass.

“I remember one day specifically where Jon Bass had to get humped on set by a dog. I just thought it was so hysterical how this dog had learned to hump on cue and could do it perfectly,” the 29-year-old giggled. “We had to wait on Jon because he could not stop laughing, rightfully so.”

Vanessa Hudgens has designed a capsule collection of woman’s suits in collaboration with Suit Studio.

The actress is renowned for her floaty, boho style and always finds herself on the best-dressed list at Coachella festival, but as for her first foray into the world of fashion design, Vanessa has opted to work on a more grown-up and sophisticated line of clothes.

“I fully did some design with Suit Studio. I designed a capsule collection of women’s suits. It’s all sold separately so you can get the right sizes and it’s very me,” she said in an interview with Bustle, ahead of the release of her new movie, Dog Days.

“It’s kind of terrifying because I had total freedom in design and I’d never done it before. They gave me no pushback and fully executed the ideas I had, just beautifully and all the pieces are so extremely well tailored and beautiful materials and I think really classic pieces and something that I’m really proud of.”

Though Vanessa typically opts for Hollywood glam on the red carpet, wearing a dusty pink tulle Marchesa gown to the premiere of her latest film, the High School Musical star has actually worn suits as far back as 2011, with notable examples being a red two-piece by Romanian brand Styland and a Moschino black and red brocade-printed outfit.

“I, being a petite female, had always felt young in a crowd of women, and I remember putting on a suit, my own very personal suit that I got for myself when I was 29, like end of 28 beginning of 29, and feeling like a woman,” the 29-year-old recalled. “It was effortless. I felt strong and powerful and assertive, but also sexy and I know how impactful that was on my life and I want to be able to share that with other women.”

Zac Efron credits ‘brilliant’ vegan diet with boosting energy levels

Zac Efron has experienced a boost in energy levels since adopting a vegan diet.

The actor first rose to prominence in the late 2000s for his leading role in the High School Musical franchise and has since gone onto appear in films such as Hairspray, The Greatest Showman as well as the recent Baywatch reboot.

While Zac is known for his buff physique, he has now shared that he has experienced a shift in his general wellbeing ever since he cut back on meat and dairy.

“I’ve been experimenting with eating purely vegan,” he told Teen Vogue. “That’s completely changed the way that my body works, and the way that I metabolise food, the way it turns into energy, the way that I sleep. It’s been brilliant. It’s been great for my exercise, and great for my routine.”

Zac went on to explain that he has also noticed that his dark undereye circles aren’t as prominent anymore. Plus, his skin is in much better condition, especially when he’s off-duty.

“When I’m filming a movie, my beauty regimen is intense. It requires two or three professionals to make me look that good. But, when I’m at home or if I’m working and not wearing intense make-up, I think it gets a lot easier. I think you have to learn how to groom, and learn how to shave properly. I learned that from a really cool barber I know, how to do a proper shave, that helps my skin a lot,” the 30-year-old shared.

When he’s not working, Zac takes a relaxed approach to his wardrobe, opting to keep his look as casual as possible. However, when it comes to red carpet events, the star insists a well-tailored suit is always the right choice.

“Getting your picture taken – standing in this place and then told where to turn – is the most awkward you’ve ever felt, so you have to mentally prepare for that. Luckily, when I get to do it, I’m doing it in a cool suit, so I feel happy,” he smiled.
