Ariana Grande celebrated her 27th birthday with a party inspired by the horror film Midsommar.
The 7 Rings hitmaker enjoyed an intimate bash hosted by her new boyfriend, Dalton Gomez, along with her close friends Doug Middlebrook and Diane Herrera.
Celebrity stylist Mimi Cuttrell helped create a look worthy of a May Queen, as Ariana rocked a knitted crop top by Beginning Boutique for the party, as well as a Danielle Guizio white silk satin skirt.
She finished the look with a large floral crown in honour of Florence Pugh’s character in the movie, who wore a huge floral hairpiece and was named a May Queen by a Swedish cult’ as her boyfriend was burnt alive in a midsummer ceremony.
The Grammy winner’s boyfriend also helped deck out Ariana’s house with floral decorations, and each of the guests, including her mother Joan Grande, wore a flower crown.
The Sweetener singer shared snaps from the bash on Instagram Stories, featuring pictures captured by photographer Alfredo Flores.
She also wore a flower cape that matched her custom flower eyelashes, which were applied by make-up artist Michael Anthony.
And the party won the approval of Florence herself, who commented on one of Ariana’s photos on Instagram.
“Happy birthday sweetheart. You can have the Mayqueen title today,” the Oscar-nominated actress commented.
“I love uuuuuuu sm (so much) !!!!! honored,” the singer replied.

Ashley Graham lost a veneer after eating one of her mother’s homemade oatmeal cookies.
The 32-year-old model took to Instagram to share with her followers a hilarious video of the mishap, which left her with a gap where her front tooth should have been.
“Shout-out to Linda Graham for making the best oatmeal cookies in the world… and putting them in the freezer,” she told viewers, with her hand over her mouth, before lifting it to reveal her missing tooth. “And having your daughter break her tooth on them.”
The mother-of-one was left with just a filed-down natural tooth, which the porcelain veneer covers.
And although Ashley’s mother didn’t appear in the video, she did leave a cheeky comment on her daughter’s Instagram post: “Cookies anyone?”
The Sports Illustrated model took to her Instagram Stories to post an update on her dental emergency, and shared a video of her chewing on a tooth pick with a new veneer in place.
“Glued a new one in,” she wrote across the clip.
Ashley later asked her followers for advice when she revealed she’d been suffering from postpartum hair loss after she and husband Justin Ervin welcomed son Isaac back in January.
The former America’s Next Top Model judge shared an alarming photo of clumps of hair in a bathroom sink and assured fellow mothers that she would share “what works” for her on social media.

Kylie Jenner suffered a last-minute wardrobe malfunction just before the Met Gala back in 2018.
The reality star took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to share her favourite memories of the prestigious fashion bash, and told her 178 million followers that she managed to rip her black Alexander Wang gown dress while “squeezing” herself into it.
Kylie arrived at the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination-themed event with boyfriend Travis Scott, just three months after giving birth to her first child, daughter Stormi Webster.
And she revealed that getting ready for the Met Gala didn’t go quite to plan.
“Three months after I gave birth in 2018,” Kylie wrote alongside a snap from her on the red carpet. “Fun fact: this dress wasn’t supposed to have a zipper but it ripped as I was squeezing into it so we added it on the way out the door. But it worked out, I love it.”
Last year, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wore a custom-made lavender Versace gown, which featured crystal mesh, Swarovski crystals, ostrich feathers, and large feathered sleeves.
And she told her fans that sister Kendall Jenner was originally supposed to wear a green or pink coloured Versace dress for the Notes on Camp-themed event, so they could’ve co-ordinated on the red carpet.
“I realllyy (sic) wanted her outfit to be pink but she wanted green or orange. The orange looked fire in the end,” Kylie shared.
The 2020 Met Gala, which was due to be held on 4 May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, has been postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Chrissy Teigen has fired back at online trolls who criticised a picture of her in a swimsuit.
The model/TV presenter recently posted a short clip on her Instagram Stories showing her posing for a picture in a mirror while wearing a low-cut black one-piece number.
However, Chrissy was later forced to respond to the negative comments about her figure, in which some cruelly claimed she resembled the cartoon character SpongeBob SquarePants.
“Everyone used to… surgically-enhanced curves. I’ve been a square my whole life and let me tell you, it’s paid off nicely in many ways!” the mother-of-two wrote on Twitter. “Imagine if one day I showed up with hips and an a*s. Ooooo you guys would be p**sed then too!”
The cookbook author insisted she wasn’t hurt by the comments, as she’s more than happy with her body, and so is her husband of almost seven years, John Legend.
“I’m happy, John’s happy, we all happy and doing a-okay!” the 34-year-old shared.
Actress Jameela Jamil showed support for the Lip Sync Battle co-host in the comments by complimenting the “fire” photo.
“I loved the video. Didn’t see a shape. Just saw fire,” The Good Place star commented, prompting Chrissy to reply: “Thank u 🙁 I’ve gotten used to my right-angle bod, you’d think people have seen it enough that it doesn’t shock them anymore but nope lol.”
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model has always been open about her relationship with her body, and she told Women’s Health magazine in 2018 that she is finally confident with how she looks.
“There’s a very big difference between wanting to be that kind of fit and wanting to be happy-fit,” the brunette beauty insisted.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has resorted to working out in her garage to try and keep in shape during the coronavirus lockdown.
The British model opened up about her personal life during a Q&A session on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, and revealed that while she’s holed up at home in Los Angeles with fiance Jason Statham and their two-year-old son Jack, she’s still trying to keep active.
“I have been using the @bodybysimone app the last few weeks, which has been a great way to get moving and dancing. We turned our garage into a makeshift gym,” Rosie replied when asked what her favourite quarantine workout was.
The star also said she was embracing a more comfortable style while self-isolating at home during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Sweats or relaxed dresses,” the 32-year-old shared, adding that her go-to loungewear brands are Leset, Les Tien, Anine Bing, and Toteme.
Elsewhere in the Q&A session, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon star gave a rare insight into her family life with fellow Brit Jason, and told a follower that their toddler has a “proper English accent” despite living in the U.S.
“He’s doing great,” she shared. “We are lucky to (be) enjoying lots of family time together at the minute. He’s turning three in a few months, which I can’t believe. Currently, we are attempting potty training!”
And when asked what advice she would give to herself as a young woman, Rosie shared an inspirational quote from Keeping Up with the Kardashians momager Kris Jenner.
“You have the capacity to believe in yourself more than anyone,” the blonde beauty replied. “Dream big, and I quote Kris Jenner here – if somebody says ‘no’, you’re asking the wrong person.”

Armie Hammer has given himself a mohawk and handlebar moustache while in self-isolation during the coronavirus pandemic.
The 33-year-old actor shared his transformation with fans and followers on social media, taking to his Instagram Stories to tease a sneak peek of what was about to happen just hours before unveiling his new ‘do on Wednesday.
“I’m fine,” Armie wrote over a photo of his painted pink toenails surrounded by chunks of hair.
He later showed off the results, revealing he had shaved off most of his brunette locks. In the snap, he looks unrecogniseable, with a thick, voluminous mohawk and handlebar moustache.
“Killing the game,” the Call Me by Your Name star captioned the funny mirror selfie, which showed him wearing a fringe cut-off top paired with pastel swimming shorts.
His wife, Elizabeth Chambers Hammer, also took to her Instagram Stories to share her opinion on her husband’s shocking hair transformation.
Posting a video of Armie in the process of shaving his hair off with the electric trimmer, she wrote: “Week 5 of quarantine and the wheels have completely fallen off the damn bus.”
Fans were quick to comment on The Social Network star’s new ‘do and joked that he was inspired by Joe Exotic from the hit Netflix documentary series, Tiger King.
“You look like you could be one of Joe Exotic’s husbands,” one quipped, while another wrote: “HAMMER EXOTIC!”
Armie isn’t the only celebrity who has taken hairstyling into his own hands. Pink has given herself an uneven buzzcut and Blake Shelton has been growing a mullet, which his partner Gwen Stefani has been styling. Katharine McPhee has given her husband David Foster a haircut, while Zooey Deschanel recently cut and coloured her boyfriend Jonathan Scott’s hair.

Gwyneth Paltrow is carving out time every day to indulge in some much-needed self-care during lockdown.
The actress and Goop founder opened up to British Vogue about her routine while she’s self-isolating at home in Los Angeles during the coronavirus pandemic.
Gwyneth is busy juggling life with her two kids, Apple, 15, and Moses, 14, who she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin, as well as working on her
lifestyle empire, and she confessed it was hard work.
“Between work, general anxiety, two teenagers and making sure everyone gets fed, making time for self-care can feel gratuitous,” the 47-year-old explained, but noted that self-care is more important than ever during this uncertain time.
“I try to carve out 20 minutes at the end of each day to draw a bath, put on a mask (I love our GOOPGLOW peel pads) and read, listen to a podcast or just text about Tiger King,” Gwyneth said, referencing the hit Netflix documentary series. “Often with a heavy pour of Japanese whiskey.”
The Oscar-winning actress has been working remotely after sending her entire staff home from Goop’s headquarters in Santa Monica when the lockdown was announced last month.
And while working from home in her kitchen, Gwyneth shared a rare photo of her and her children on Instagram, with the caption: “WFH with some moral support.”
She also posted a series of videos on Instagram Stories in honour of her son’s 14th birthday and revealed that his friends had even driven past their house to celebrate with the teenager.
“Socially distanced birthday parade for Moses!” Gwyneth wrote alongside the clips, which were filmed by her daughter Apple.

Bhad Bhabie has fired back at critics claiming she darkened her skin for a photoshoot.
The 17-year-old, real name Danielle Peskowitz Bregoli, recently uploaded two videos on Instagram which showed her wearing a black bralet with her long black locks straightened.
However, it was the colour of the Bestie hitmaker’s skin which caused concern among her 17 million followers, with many accusing the white rapper of darkening her skin purposefully.
“It’s pathetic when you can’t rock your own skin,” one person commented, while another wrote: “Ma’am… please act your race.”
“Okay this is blackfishing now for sure,” a third stated in the comments on the video, referencing a term used when describing the use of make-up to appear black.
The rising star later took to her Instagram Stories to reject the claims, and called out her critics for focusing on her make-up and not the coronavirus pandemic.
“Millions of people sick, thousands dying every day and y’all worried about me getting my make-up done for a photoshoot? I’m usually the wild one but y’all need to chill and focus on what’s important right now,” Bhabie fired.
It’s not the first time the rapper has faced accusations of cultural appropriation.
Back in 2017, she told Fader magazine that she wasn’t “acting black”, and was allowed to braid her hair without facing backlash.
“Do not tell me I’m acting black because I’m not. I’m acting urban, or whatever you want to call it. I don’t even have a name for it, I call it, ‘me.’ How I act is me. I get braids all the time, you can’t tell me I’m acting black because I braid my hair. That makes no sense whatsoever,” she insisted.

Serena Williams is making the most of her free time during self-isolation by indulging in an afternoon skincare regime.
The tennis ace shared her beauty tips in an Instagram Stories video this week and explained to her followers how she’s keeping her skin hydrated while trying to stay calm at home with her two-year-old daughter Olympia and husband Alexis Ohanian.
“I feel stressed out, obviously with everything, but I’m also calm and just really trying to do my thing, so I’m just going to do an afternoon cleanse,” the 38-year-old told the camera.
She then revealed her “favourite” product was MZ Skin’s Cleanse & Clarify cleanser, a multi-tasking formula which doubles up as a cleansing gel and a face mask. The exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and papaya fruit enzymes help unclog pores, even skin texture and renew lacklustre skin, and Serena applied it by mixing a small amount with water in her hand.
She then followed it with Rachel’s Plan Bee Facial Cleansing Oil, which is rich in vitamin E, olive squalane and cranberry seed oil, and massaged the luxurious product into her skin.
“My skin is really moisturised and oiled,” Serena told her followers.
While the tennis superstar gave her beauty tutorial, her daughter Olympia played with her mother’s make-up at her own dressing table in the background.
“My daughter is actually doing her own make-up. I’m terrified to see what she’s doing… Olympia, what have you done?” she exclaimed, as the tot revealed she had drawn on her face with lipstick and lip liner.
“You look cute. You like that? It’s different,” Serena told her daughter, prompting Olympia to sweetly reply: “I cute!”

Kelly Ripa has taken to social media to show off just how much her grey roots have grown while she self-isolates amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Live with Kelly and Ryan host is holed up at her home in New York as the city’s residents have been urged to go into lockdown to avoid spreading the Covid-19 virus, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 16,700 people worldwide.
But in a new Instagram Stories post, the 49-year-old shared a snap of a small patch of silvery roots in her blonde hair and jokingly bemoaned her lack of access to a hairdresser.
“Root watch week one,” she captioned the image.
Kelly, who recently donated $1 million (£850,000) to coronavirus relief efforts, previously joked about having a “very serious medical problem” while she headed to an aesthetics clinic to receive Botox injections before the Big Apple went into lockdown.
In a video, the former All My Children star visited Dr. Robert Anolik, who said she had a “Botox deficiency”, with symptoms including “lines and wrinkles”.
Kelly later shared a list on Instagram, highlighting the tasks people should and should not be doing during the coronavirus pandemic. The mother-of-three also urged her 2.7 million followers to take a break from watching the news and to instead consider how they can focus on their mental wellbeing.
“It’s O.K. to feel frustrated that you can’t hug your parents or convince them to stay inside. It’s ok to cook the same thing over and over and then reheat the leftovers,” she added.
