Magdalena Frackowiak has undergone a five-hour operation after suffering from a mystery illness.

The Polish model launched her career as a teenager and has since gone on to land campaigns for the likes of Prada, Lanvin, and Louis Vuitton, and walk the runway for Dior, Givenchy, and Victoria’s Secret.

Magdalena recently took to Instagram to share a picture of her and surgeon Dr. Per Heden, who she credited with saving her life.

“Per Heden – the only man who is worth my attention. My angel, my inspiration, my everything. He healed me not only physically but also mentally,” the 34-year-old wrote in the caption. “No one else was able to help me. People turning their back when you (are) not feeling well. I didn’t know I’m slowly dying from the inside… he took on very complicated operation… five hours… I have no words to explain the magic of this man. It was truly a special experience in my life. I’m in pain but I finally feel better, I feel my energy is coming back. I am not a religious person, but I was literally touched by hand of the God (sic).”

Magdalena did not share any further details about her illness, but insisted that her operation had nothing to do with aesthetics, even though Dr. Heden specialises in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

And in a post on his Instagram page, the Swedish surgeon simply commented that he was thankful to receive “kind words” from the model, who “needed help with a difficult problem”.

Accordingly, a number of Magdalena’s celebrity friends posted messages of support on her social media pages, including Lily Aldridge, Isabeli Fontana, and Irina Shayk.

Isabel Marant has dished up a line of safari-inspired separates for fall/winter 2019.

The French fashion house, founded in 1994 by designer Isabel Marant, presented as part of Paris Fashion Week on Thursday night (01Mar19), with the likes of Constance Jablonski, Isabeli Fontana, and Derek Blasberg all perched on the front row.

While Marant is known for her signature Parisian chic aesthetic, for her latest collection she took fans on an adventure, with the show opening with a model sporting a large grey trench coat with matching slouchy grey leather boots.

A number of similar ensembles with a nomadic feel followed, including a beige jumpsuit which was paired with a studded black leather belt, and a wool-lined vest which was matched with a star-printed shirt and trousers with cargo-style pockets.

Model of the moment Kaia Gerber walked the runway in an oversized off-white knit sweater and high-waisted trousers, with her look accessorised with silver feather detailing, large silver drop earrings, and black leather booties.

Reflecting her eclectic taste, Marant also offered up shirts and skirts in mismatched paisley prints, sweaters with geometric designs, wool vests, and cosy jackets.

Gigi Hadid strutted her stuff in a grey jacket with large pockets on the front and beige cargo pants which were tucked into grey boots, while Binx Walton donned beige shorts and a large jacket with brown leather detailing.

To conclude the presentation, Marant added in a few more evening-ready outfits, including black and silver knitwear tops, ’80s-inspired high-neck jumpers, pleated miniskirts, black and silver minidresses, and sequin skirts with dramatic black tops.

Paris Fashion Week continues on Friday with shows from Loewe, Balmain, Nina Ricci, and Celine.

Isabeli Fontana has endorsed the subtle use of Botox injections.

The Brazilian model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion industry, having posed for the likes of Victoria’s Secret, Versace, Ralph Lauren and Valentino over the years.

While Isabeli is seemingly ageless, she has now shared that she is open to using Botox, a cosmetic treatment which can temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines.

“A little bit of Botox is not bad,” she told The Times. “Botox can change your face a lot, so it has to be very subtle, but if you don’t do it, age will mark your skin, and I don’t like that at all.”

Isabeli went on to explain that she is not keen on using fillers as they can look “odd”. However, she has undergone laser treatments in the past to target age spots and wouldn’t rule out cosmetic surgery in the future.

“Maybe in 10 years’ time it wouldn’t kill me if I did a little lift,” the 35-year-old admitted.

In the accompanying photoshoot for the interview, Isabeli posed up a storm in a range of minimalist swimsuits for brands such as Calvin Klein, Seafolly, American Apparel and Prada.

But in spite of her lithe physique, the mother-of-two is adamant that she still feels insecure about her body when it’s time to step in front of the camera in skimpy outfits.

“I always feel bloated in swimwear,” she sighed. “We all judge ourselves so much and see ourselves differently to how others see us. I don’t feel perfect. I am not perfect, but everyone should be friends with their bodies, and yoga helped with that.”
