Tommy Hilfiger and Lewis Hamilton recruited many famous faces to model their latest designs at London Fashion Week on Sunday.

The American designer unveiled his fourth collection in partnership with the Formula One driver, as well as their capsule collection with musician H.E.R., at the TOMMYNOW Spring 2020 show held at the Tate Modern in London on Sunday night, with celebrity guests including Billy Porter, Charli XCX, and Meghan Trainor.

The show featured a diverse, age, and size-inclusive mix of models from both sides of the Atlantic, ranging from ’90s British favourites Jodie Kidd, Yasmin Le Bon, and Erin O’Connor to newcomers such as Halima Aden, Alton Mason, and Jasmine Sanders. Other U.K. faces included Jourdan Dunn, Georgia May Jagger, and Karen Elson, while international models included Winnie Harlow, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Candice Swanepoel.

The famous faces on the runway vastly outnumbered those sitting front row, with the show also featuring celebrity relatives such as Helena Christensen and Norman Reedus’ son Mingus, Kate Moss’ sister Lottie, Liam Gallagher’s son Lennon, Bob Geldof’s daughter Pixie, and Christy Turlington’s nephew James.

The genderless ‘See Now, Buy Now’ collection was the most sustainable TommyxLewis release to date, with 75 per cent of the line using more sustainable production methods, including organic cotton, recycled fabric, and low-impact denim washes.

Naomi Campbell opened the show wearing a neon yellow and beige tracksuit with chunky high-top sneakers. A number of streetwear looks followed, before the collection focused on preppy outfits heavily featuring nautical stripes and the stars and stripes of the U.S. flag, with Ambrosio wearing a crisp navy blue blazer over the top of a white and blue striped shirt, worn as a dress, and a white jumper.

Hamilton linked arms with Campbell as he walked down to the catwalk with Hilfiger and H.E.R. to give the final bow.

“Thanks to @thomasjhilfiger, @hermusicofficial, all my amazing models including @naomi and of course to everyone at @tommyhilfiger,” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s been such a journey to create our most sustainable collection to date, but it’s something I’m so proud that we’ve been able to achieve. Feeling very grateful for all our hard work today.”

London Fashion Week continues on Monday with presentations from Burberry, JW Anderson, and Erdem.

Slick Woods has credited her friend for saving her life during an “unexpected” seizure.

The model, real name Simone Thompson, announced on social media in November that she was battling a type of skin cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy.

Slick has been regularly sharing updates with her fans, and on Wednesday, took to Instagram to post a video of her smiling and laughing in her hospital bed after recently suffering a scary medical ordeal.

“Now that I’m feeling a million times better and walking again thanks @cheyalli (Chey Allegra) for saving my life during an unexpected seizure in the middle of the night, man there’s so many people going through way worse #staygoofy,” she captioned the clip.

It’s not known if Slick had suffered seizures before, or if the event is related to her treatments.

But a number of the Fenty Beauty star’s celebrity pals were quick to comment on the post, including Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Janelle Monae, and Karrueche Tran.

“Thank god, quick recovery! We love you @slickwoods,” wrote Adut Akech, while Jasmine Sanders posted, “Praying for you baby!!”

And singer-songwriter Miguel added: “Sending love and lightning.”

Last month, Slick shared a string of videos on her Instagram Stories showing her joking around with friends while at The London in New York City and noted that she was able to enjoy a night out when she was provided with a wheelchair by staff at the hotel.

“Legs numb left hand still numb I hate bulls**t and The London gave me a wheelchair,” the 23-year-old stated.

Jasmine Sanders has been tapped to star in the campaign for Vince Camuto’s new perfume.

The model, who was recently named Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Rookie of the Year, has teamed up with bosses at the American footwear company to front the marketing imagery for the Illuminare fragrance.

And as Sanders had previously appeared in campaigns for Vince Camuto clothing, as well as the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Bulgari, she told People.com that working with the brand once again was an easy decision.

“It needed to be something that I’m really going to wear and enjoy wearing,” she explained. “It felt natural saying ‘yes’ after seeing how beautiful the product is and how much I loved the scent. I had already partnered with them for the clothing campaign, and now doing their fragrance, I’m really excited to announce everything.”

The blonde beauty, also known as Golden Barbie, added that she receives compliments and feels confident whenever she wears the sweet fragrance.

“If I feel a certain amount of confidence from wearing it, then that’s my fragrance,” the 28-year-old noted. “A very strong, bold woman would wear this fragrance… Someone who is not afraid to walk into the room and own it. And I definitely try to do that as much as I can. There are nerves every now and then, but you’ve got to find your confidence in some way.”

In the campaign imagery, a topless Sanders poses for the camera while holding the pink bottle.

The Illuminare fragrance, which retails for $98 (£81), boasts top notes of plum blossom, bergamot, pomelo and base notes of suede musk, tonka, cedarwood.

The 28-year-old, who was born in Germany and raised in South Carolina, was overwhelmed at the news, and took to social media to share her excitement.

“This post is for all of the people that were there for me these past 15 years! We did it!! This is for all my family, friends, agents, managers, and supporters that have motivated and pushed me day in and day out. The model, who is known on Instagram as ‘Golden Barbie’, joins previous Rookie of the Year winners Chrissy Teigen, Kate Upton, Nina Agdal, and Barbara Palvin.

Adriana Lima was named Icon of the Year at The Daily Front Row’s Fashion Los Angeles Awards (FLA) on Sunday night (17Mar19).

The Brazilian supermodel is one of the most famous names in fashion, and executives at the publication feted her achievements at a presentation held at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, with Love magazine editor Katie Grand bestowing her with the prize.

“Thank you @kegrand for presenting my fashion icon award tonight. Love you,” the 37-year-old captioned a snap of her posing with Katie on her Instagram page.

In addition, Slick Woods collected the Model of the Year prize, and Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia of Oscar de la Renta and Monse were named Designers of the Year.

Other models to attend the event included Stella Maxwell, Candice Swanepoel, Chanel Iman, Jasmine Sanders, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Kate Hudson was awarded the Fashion Entrepreneur award for her ventures with athleisure brand Fabletics and clothing company New York & Company, while Lady Gaga was on hand to present her longtime hairstylist Frederic Aspiras with the Hairstylist of the Year award.

“On my way to present hair stylist of the year from The Daily Front Row to my best friend and hair artist for a decade @federicaspiras,” Gaga wrote on her Instagram Stories prior to the event.

Fashion stars including Christian Siriano and Jennifer Meyer also stepped out for the bash, as did celebrities including Alicia Silverstone, James Marsden, Jaime King, and Busy Philipps, with comedy star Celeste Barber hosting.

“We are thrilled with this year’s honorees representing both established stars such as Adriana Lima and rising stars such as Slick Woods. We’re also delighted to bring Celeste Barber, the hilarious and brilliant Australian comedian, to the FLA stage for the first time. Finally, the fashion world has the comic it so richly deserves,” commented Brandusa Niro, The Daily Front Row’s editor-in-chief, before the ceremony.

Jasmine Sanders has championed the benefits of doubling up on moisturiser.

The model, also known as Golden Barbie, is one of the hottest names in the fashion industry at the moment, and in addition to recently landing gigs for the likes of Reebok and H&M, she will also appear in the 2019 edition of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Jasmine’s busy lifestyle means she has to take good care of her skin, and she has now shared that she is a fan of using several layers of moisturiser after cleansing her face.

“A little bit of product goes a long way,” she said in a Go To Bed With Me video for Harpersbazaar.com, as she demonstrated how she applies Dior’s Hydra Life Sorbet Creme to her face, and then adds Dior’s Prestige La Lotion Essence de Rose. “So, I’m going to go with this one right on top of the other moisturiser… you can never moisturise too much!”

Jasmine applies any leftover face lotion to her ears, neck, and hands to avoid any wastage. She also incorporates an eye cream into her skincare regime, and then rolls a jade roller from Herbivore over her face, focusing on any puffy areas.

“Now, that I put my moisturiser all over my face, I’m going to go in with this fun tool. Honestly, I might not even be using it right, but I love this thing. It just makes me feel like I’m really getting all of my products into my face,” the 27-year-old noted.

In addition, Jasmine applies Darphin’s Aromatic Purifying Balm, which she first discovered in her mother’s bathroom cabinet, and Dior’s Lip Sugar Scrub Sweet Exfoliating Balm to remove any dead skin from her pout.

And when she is heading on a long-haul flight, the blonde beauty will always pack a Dr. Jart+ Brightening Infusion Hydrogel Mask in her carry-on.

“I like using these ones because they’re ones you can keep on a lot longer,” she smiled. “Honestly, when you’re on a flight, these are the best things to use.”

Jasmine Sanders has been named as a 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue rookie.

The German-born model, who was raised in Columbia, South Carolina, launched her career as a teenager and has since gone on to appear in runway shows for the likes of Ralph Lauren, Jeremy Scott, DKNY and Miu Miu.

Jasmine, also known as Golden Barbie, has now been tapped as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, and she couldn’t be more thrilled to have landed the sought-after gig.

“I’m so excited to be part of the Sports Illustrated family!” she exclaimed in a statement on Tuesday (13Nov18). “I love that they celebrate all types of women with different body types from different backgrounds. I can’t wait to be alongside such icons as Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Irina Shayk, Chrissy Teigen, and Ashley Graham, just to name a few.”

Jasmine, who is believed to be in a relationship with TV host and actor Terrence J, is the second model to be unveiled as a rookie in the 2019 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, with Camille Kostek, a former dancer and New England Patriots cheerleader, announced last month.

In addition, the blonde star uploaded a video to Instagram showing the emotional moment that she found out that she is to appear in the publication, and that revealed that her photoshoot would take place in Costa Rica.

“Is this real? After so long of working soooo hard I can’t believe that I am finally able to announce that I am a SPORTS ILLUSTRATED MODEL!! I am so excited to be part of such an inclusive family that represents strong, confident, fearless, smart… oh the list goes on! These women are incredible!” the 27-year-old captioned the sweet clip. “Thank you @mj_day for believing in me and taking the time to get to know me. This was now my 3rd casting for SI and my most confident moment at that. I’ve come such a long way and honestly this couldn’t be a more perfect time! Thank you to everyone that was involved in helping make this decision. I can’t wait to make you all so proud!”

Jasmine Sanders urges people to cut back on phone use

Jasmine Sanders is trying to limit the amount of time she spends on her phone.

The model has walked the runway for the likes of Miu Miu and Moschino as well as appeared in campaigns for brands including Nike, Gap and Ralph Lauren.

Jasmine also has a huge social media following thanks to her @golden_barbie Instagram account, which to date has attracted the attention of over three million followers.

But in spite of her constant engagement with fans online, she is urging others to leave their phones at home when socialising out in the real world.

“There’s never a moment someone is not on a camera,” the 27-year-old explained in an interview with StyleCaster. “The hardest test is not taking it to dinner. Of course, my excuse is I need the GPS to get in the car (that’s my excuse for everything. I need my GPS – I can’t get there without it.) So, take it in the car, but leave it in the glove compartment. Go in and see if you can really have that time (away from your phone).”

The fashion star also admitted that she is well aware of the kind of posts her millions of Instagram followers want to see, but will occasionally focus on her own desires.

“There are times when I look at my page and I’m like, ‘You know what? I’m tired of being cookie-cutter perfect for everyone. I want to post what I want.’ As crazy as that sounds, I want to post a view without me in it,” she laughed. “I have those moments of me being in what to my eyes is rebellious against what Golden Barbie is on the Internet.”

Away from her Golden Barbie persona, Jasmine was recently made the face of Smashbox Cover Shot Palettes Collection, a highly pigmented glittery range of eyeshadows.

“I don’t think there’s ever been a moment when glitter hasn’t made anything prettier or made me feel happier,” the blonde beauty smiled.
