Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had to “redefine her identity” after welcoming her son in 2017.

The British model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion industry, having fronted campaigns for the likes of Burberry, Jimmy Choo, and Marks & Spencer.

However, Rosie discovered that she had to reassess all aspects of her life after giving birth to baby boy Jack, whom she shares with her actor fiance Jason Statham.

“I don’t think I was prepared in any way for the emotional side of becoming a mother. I’d never really been around babies before, I knew it was time to start a family, and I knew I had this inkling in me that I wanted to have a baby, but the maternal instinct never really kicked in until I gave birth. It was incredibly overwhelming on so many different levels because here I am with this newborn baby that I had an overwhelming sense of love for and it is a huge identity shift,” she said during an interview for Ashley Graham’s Pretty Big Deal podcast. “And so that first year, for me, was a mix of pure joy, a lot of anxiety, learning as I went, redefining my identity to myself, to my partner, to my work, to my son. It’s a very intimate kind of personal experience. And really beautiful because I feel like I’ve evolved and grown so much. And there’s nothing that comes close to how proud I feel of him. I could stare at him all day long.”

Elsewhere in the chat, Ashley, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Justin Ervin, also asked Rosie how she made the decision not show Jack’s face in public or on social media, and the blonde beauty insisted it was a “no-brainer”.

“I just always felt really strongly that it should be Jack’s decision if he wants to live a public life. I just dread the idea of him turning around to me at 15, 16 and being like, ‘You and dad didn’t protect me, you w**red me out.’ It should be his choice. I want him to feel normal,” the 38-year-old explained.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has opened up about her struggle to lose the 55 pounds (25 kilograms) she gained during her pregnancy.

The British model gave birth to Jack, her first child with fiance Jason Statham, back in 2017.

She’s now looking better than ever, but in a no-holds barred chat on the Pretty Big Deal podcast with fellow model Ashley Graham, who is currently pregnant, Rosie admitted it wasn’t easy to shed the pounds once she’d welcomed her new arrival into the world.

“I would look in the mirror and I was like, I have 35 to 40 pounds (15-18 kilograms) to lose,” she said of her outlook after giving birth. “And I go to the gym, go to the gym, go to the gym, it’s not falling off, it’s not coming off, and it was very humbling for me, because having had a certain body type for most of my life… I will say working out in the gym and looking back at myself and feeling like s**t, I was like, now I understand how hard it is for some people to get to the gym.”

Revealing just how much weight she had gained while carrying Jack, Rosie grimaced: “I gained about 55 pounds. Listen, I enjoyed myself. I let the reins go. It’s a new experience, so you’re kind of like, ‘Well, let’s see how this goes.’ And six months in I was like, ‘WHAT! This is crazy!'”

While she struggled to accept the changes to her body at first, the 32-year-old admitted she felt “empowered” by the end of her pregnancy, and “basically walked around naked for the last month at home”.

As Rosie opened up about her pregnancy weight struggles, Ashley, who is currently expecting her first child with husband Justin Ervin, shared that she has gained 40 pounds (18 kilograms). The curvy model is due to give birth in January.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley would love to spend a day in Rihanna’s shoes.

The 32-year-old model is currently fronting the latest images for Jimmy Choo’s In My Choos editorial series, and in an interview accompanying the new campaign, Rosie revealed who she’d like to swap lives with just for one night.

“I would have to say Rihanna on stage performing for sure,” she explained. “I think that’s got to be the ultimate experience and I love her, love her music and love everything she stands for and I just think it’s unlike any feeling I think you could compare it to, singing to an audience and the crowd looking back at you with adoration. I would love to experience that.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the model shared the best career advice she’s ever been given and noted that it’s the reason she’s steered away from controversy during her modelling and acting career.

“I received a lot of good career advice, but I think the one piece of career advice that’s always stuck with me is: It takes a lifetime to build a reputation and just one second to destroy it,” the mother-of-one shared.

Rosie, who is engaged to actor Jason Statham, also sweetly revealed how she would ask her parents for fashion magazine subscriptions when she was younger.

“One of my earliest childhood memories was waiting for them to arrive every month. I’d then devour every page sitting in my bedroom and share it with my mum and we’d look at all the fashion stories together,” she recalled. “It was the creativity which really inspired me. My bedroom walls were plastered with iconic images of models and fashion campaigns.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: ‘High heels make me feel powerful’

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley feels “powerful” whenever she slips into a pair of high heels.

The British model has been tapped to star in the latest images for Jimmy Choo’s In My Choos editorial series – titled Destination Party – with the photos showing her wearing designs from the luxury footwear label’s cruise 2020 collection.

In an interview accompanying the new campaign, Rosie discussed how different shoes can affect her mood and noted that she rarely wears flats because they don’t make her feel empowered.

“When I want to feel powerful for sure I’m always going to pick a heel. But I think you know, for a really sexy event shoe, it will probably be something patent,” she explained. “You’ll rarely see me in flats, because the way I feel when I’m in heels – whether it’s a more edgy biker-style look, or something more feminine and ballet-inspired – is just so empowered. I feel ready for the day in every way.”

Rosie sticks to “pretty simple outfits” so she can wear an extravagant shoe, and her golden rule when it comes to dressing up for black-tie events, or a red carpet premiere with her fiance Jason Statham, is to start with her footwear.

“I’m inherently a jeans and T-shirt or leather pants and a great blouse girl. But I always take a risk with shoes and I think that’s where you can add a little bit of fun, texture, colour, and sparkle. I also find shoes to be really transformative in terms of my mood,” the 32-year-old shared. “A classic little black dress with a great shoe will get you out the door – no matter what the event: black tie, cocktail, dinner, you’ll be sorted.”

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has candidly spoken about her ongoing battle with acne.

The British model previously suffered from the common skin condition when she was younger but managed to keep it under control after doing endless research into what products she needed to use in order to get rid of the congestion.

“For me, skincare is where it all starts. But I want to be really clear: I do not have perfect skin,” she told People magazine. “It’s like research for me. I’m very invested in learning as much as I can about skincare.”

Rosie is a devotee of luxury skincare brand iS CLINICAL, as it doesn’t include any compounds that will irritate her sensitive complexion.

“I have this list of ingredients that really, really inflame acne or congest the skin. It’s like my Bible,” the 32-year-old shared. “No product comes close to my skin if it’s got comedogenic properties or ingredients in it.”

However, Rosie stopped using the high-end products when she was pregnant.

“I had flawless skin throughout my pregnancy, so I sort of deviated away from using an (iS CLINICAL) product I had been using for years,” she explained.

Rosie and her actor fiance Jason Statham welcomed son Jack in 2017. Yet, the blonde beauty soon discovered that her acne was returning.

“I couldn’t figure out what was going on. So, I went back and started to use iS CLINICAL exclusively again and not only saw my skin change within a matter of days, but it’s better than ever,” the star insisted.

Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are reuniting for a remake of French action-thriller Le Convoyeur.

The original 2004 movie starred Albert Dupontel as security guard H, who has an ulterior motive when he takes a job with an armoured truck company that is responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles every week.

Ritchie is set to direct, with Statham as his leading man, after Miramax won the rights to the French movie.

According to Deadline, the as-yet-untitled film will follow the perspectives of different characters and feature a star-studded ensemble cast, similar to the British filmmaker’s previous movies.

“I’m looking forward to bringing this story to life and working with Jason while he still has the use of his knees,” Ritchie told Deadline.

Miramax boss Bill Block and Ivan Atkinson will produce the film, which will be a follow-up to Ritchie’s upcoming thriller The Gentlemen, which stars Matthew McConaughey, Henry Golding and Colin Farrell, and is also being released by the studio.

“Working again with Guy Ritchie on our second collaboration together, alongside renowned actor Jason Statham, is a privilege, and we anticipate that the tone and flavour of these two longtime friends will resurrect nothing less than a true, genre classic,” Block said.

It will be the first time that Ritchie and Statham have worked together since 2000’s Snatch, which also starred Brad Pitt, Stephen Graham, and Benicio Del Toro.

The remake was originally supposed to be called Cash Truck and star Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock and directed by Josef Wladyka, according to Collider. The story would’ve followed Bullock playing a down-on-her-luck American who takes a job in London.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has partnered with clean baby product brand Pipette.

The British model is one of the most sought-after names in the fashion industry, having fronted campaigns for the likes of Burberry, Paige denim, and Marks & Spencer.

However, Rosie is now taking on an entirely different market and is starring in a campaign for Pipette alongside her two-year-old son Jack, who she shares with her actor fiance Jason Statham.

“I’m very pleased to support the Pipette brand mission of giving parents greater choice when it comes to caring for their loved ones,” she said in a statement. “Pipette is responding to the needs of parents who increasingly refuse to buy products that are harmful to them, their children, and our environment.”

Owned by parent company Amyris, Pipette will offer parents a range of child-friendly skincare products free of toxins, dyes, sulphates, talc, mineral oil (a by-product of petroleum), parabens, phthalates and artificial fragrances. The line is set to officially launch on 4 September, with Rosie already teasing the collection in a series of posts on her Instagram page.

Regarding the partnership, Caroline Hadfield, president of Pipette, praised the 32-year-old as a natural fit, and noted she will also be serving on the brand’s advisory board.

“Rosie’s passion and mindfulness are evident in everything she does to support good health for herself, her baby, and the planet,” she commented. “She truly embodies the spirit of busy moms who want the best for their children, and we are thrilled to have her as our new brand partner. With Pipette, parents will no longer have to use highly questionable products on their baby’s skin that, in some cases, virtually amount to putting petroleum on their child. Consumers deserve better, and we will deliver.”

Exact Pipette product details have not yet been announced.

Idris Elba was worn out after spending long days on the set of Hobbs & Shaw with his action co-stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.

In the action movie, the British actor plays rogue MI6 operative Brixton Lore, a wanted terrorist equipped with highly advanced technology that grants him superhuman abilities.

In an interview with U.K. morning show Lorraine on Wednesday, the 46-year-old admitted filming the action-packed role took its toll.

“It was good working with the two lads. Jason and Dwayne are probably the biggest action stars in the world… the two of them were really open to the idea of Idris coming in to kick them down a bit…I relished it,” he said. “It was tiring, it was long hours, I was knackered by the end of it.”

The Thor actor also discussed contributing a song to the movie’s soundtrack.

“I managed to write this song, I called up the legendary rap group Cyprus Hill… the director loved it and put in the big chase sequence,” he smiled. “I love making music. I’ve made music in my bedroom since I was four, pretty much and now I’ve managed to fuse the two together a little bit.”

Idris, who also moonlights as a DJ, famously spun the tunes at Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding reception last year, an event he felt “privileged” to be a part of.

“They had an amazing time, I was part of that, and everyone there had a great time. You can’t ask for more as a DJ to be asked to do something like that,” he shared.

And the superstar, who also has a residency at Hi Ibiza in Spain over the summer alongside superstar DJ David Guetta, added that he finds getting behind the decks very “grounding”.

“When you are DJ-ing in front of 2000 people they don’t care if you are a movie star, they just like to have a good time,” he stated.

Dwayne Johnson brought his mother to tears by speaking Samoan in his new movie Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.

When asked about the best parts of making the movie in an interview with U.S. TV show Extra, the 47-year-old revealed it was his mother Ata’s response to seeing their Samoan heritage being showcased onscreen that made it all worthwhile.

“She is incredibly proud of the movie,” he shared. “It’s the very first time in the history of Hollywood that the Samoan culture has ever been showcased on this scale, so it’s a big deal.”

He went on to reveal Ata was on the set of the flick the day they filmed scenes where he performed the Siva Tau, a Samoan war dance usually performed by Samoan sporting teams before a game, and confessed she was overcome with emotion when she saw her culture being brought to life.

“Within the scene, she never heard me speak in Samoan to this degree,” the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star continued. “She hears me speaking in Samoan, calling on our ancestors to give us strength… I look over and she is crying so hard. When the scene was over, a really beautiful moment – all the boys, the guys that play my brothers in the movie, go over and gave her a hug… (It was) a memory forever.”

In Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne reprises his role of Luke Hobbs from the Fast and Furious franchise, alongside Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw. The film, which also stars Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby, and Helen Mirren, hits cinemas from 31 July.

Jason Statham: ‘I’m not really an actor, I just got lucky’

Jason Statham is surprised he’s managed to work in Hollywood for so long.

The 51-year-old has become famous for playing action heroes in blockbuster movies including The Expendables and the Fast and the Furious franchises.

But speaking to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, Jason has confessed he doesn’t consider himself to be a proper actor.

“I am not an actor really – I used to work jewellery on the streets,” the star laughed. “I was a sportsman for years and I am not really some thespian that can chameleon himself into different roles. I just got into this by being at the right place at the right time.”

The star, who was part of Britain’s national diving team in the 1990 Commonwealth Games and has modelled for French Connection, Tommy Hilfiger, and Levi’s in various advertising campaigns, went on to admit his sudden ascent to fame means he’s never taken an acting class.

“I got plucked from obscurity into the movie industry – so it is not like I have spent years honing how to do different accents or ‘working on my craft’,” he considered. “That doesn’t apply to me. I accept what I am good at.”

Jason stars opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Idris Elba in the action comedy Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, which hits cinemas from 31 July.
