Jennifer Aniston has no qualms about getting older.

The Morning Show star reached the milestone in February and celebrated with a star-studded bash in Los Angeles that included the likes of George and Amal Clooney, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ellen DeGeneres, Barbra Streisand, and Laura Dern.

Now, Jennifer – who was recently named as one of People magazine’s People of the Year, told the publication that she has no anxiety over the ageing process.

“(I don’t) feel 50,” she shared. “I don’t know what that’s supposed to feel like or look like. I know what society has painted it as and what narrative we put around it but none of that applies to myself in terms of how I feel about it.”

Jennifer went on to explain that she thinks of birthdays – whatever the age – as markers of good health. Accordingly, this is part of the reason why she wanted to have a big blowout for her 50th.

“Well, I love a big ol’ celebration and I thought what’s the alternative? Look, the alternative to not being 50 is because you’re not here anymore!” the star laughed. “And thank God. I think of all the people that we’ve lost before the age of 50 or at the age of 50. And also, I think we’re living longer now.”

As for what this past year has taught her, the Friends actress confessed she feels much more capable as she enters the next decade of her life.

“The words ‘I dare you’ or ‘no’ always make me kind of go, ‘Oh, okay. Well, let’s just see,'” she said.

Jennifer Aniston dislikes it when women are described as “looking good for their age”.

The Morning Show actress takes great interest in protecting her health and skin, often sharing details of her daily regime in interviews.

But while Jennifer is known for her flawless complexion, in a chat for Glamour.com, she explained that she is tired of hearing outdated perceptions regarding beauty over and over again.

“Beauty at any age is beautiful. I think we’re taking better care of ourselves these days,” she told the publication. “We’re learning more about our internal health, and that reflects itself on our outer health and beauty. I think the cliches of, ‘Oh my God, you look great for your age,’ is kind of an old paradigm that doesn’t exist anymore.”

Jennifer went on to note that she thinks women who want to let their hair go grey should be unafraid to do so. Yet, she is not ready to turn away from her signature brunette tresses with golden highlights just yet.

“I think it’s personal choice. I don’t think there’s any taboo. I mean, I think if we create one (then there will be), because that’s what people like to do-create a narrative and a headline – but I think if people want to go grey, look, go grey. It’s just I don’t want to,” the 50-year-old commented.

Elsewhere, Jennifer named Aveeno moisturiser and sunscreen as her go-to skincare products, and noted that she also loves Dr. Hauschka’s lip balm and Shu Uemura’s hair masks. But her top rules for looking good revolve around water and sleep.

“Without sleep your body’s not restoring its cells and getting rest. And if you’re not hydrating, you shrivel up like an old prune. They’re so important,” she insisted.

Cindy Crawford has shared an epic celebrity throwback photo on social media, with the snap featuring the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Gabrielle Union.

The supermodel posted the star-studded image on Instagram in honour of the popular hashtag #WCW, which stands for Woman Crush Wednesday.

Actresses Aniston, Union, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Deidre Hall, Allison Janney, Fran Drescher, models Amber Valletta, Rachel Hunter, and TV host Nancy O’Dell all feature in the picture taken in 2003.

And eagle-eyed fans even spotted the late Carrie Fisher and her daughter Billie Lourd in the 16-person photo, which fans of Cindy said was the best celebrity group photo since Ellen DeGeneres’s record-breaking Oscars selfie in 2014.

“That’s a lot of girl power in one photo. #WCW,” the 53-year-old model wrote in the caption.

While followers speculated about the exact event the women were at – with one even suggesting it was Hunter’s wedding to Rod Stewart in 1990 as the model is wearing a white strapless dress – it was, in fact, a charity fashion show which raised money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, according to editors at People.com.

The women walked the catwalk as attendees placed bids on luxury items including five-star trips to Paris, Greece, and New York.

“OMGGGGGG!! That felt like 5 min ago!!!” Union commented on the snap, while So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley wrote: “Good lord! Now that’s a gang!”

Since the photo was taken, beloved Star Wars icon Fisher has passed away. She died following a stroke in December 2016.

Kim Kardashian asked for Reese Witherspoon’s approval before wearing her Legally Blonde-inspired look for Halloween.

The reality TV star is following in her late attorney father Robert Kardashian’s footsteps by training to become a lawyer, and last Thursday, decided to transform into Witherspoon’s bubbly sorority girl-turned-Harvard Law School student character Elle Woods for a bash.

Sharing several snaps on her Instagram page, Kardashian donned a pink dress and blonde wig, and also uploaded a video showing her parodying Woods’s famous Harvard admissions video essay.

The look was met with acclaim from fans, as well as Witherspoon, who commented, “Elle Woods forever,” adding the 100 emoji.

And speaking to Entertainment Tonight Canada, Witherspoon revealed Kardashian actually reached out to her for her blessing before debuting the costume.

“She actually wrote me and said, ‘I’m gonna do it.’ And I was like ‘Go for it!'” The Morning Show actress said. “It turned out great. She did a great job.”

“I’m impressed with that!” her co-star in the Apple TV+ series, Jennifer Aniston, added.

Aniston hadn’t yet seen the clip, but after her pal gushed over the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s project, she enthused: “That’s incredible, you have to show me that!”

Meanwhile, a third Legally Blonde movie is currently in the works, with Witherspoon hoping co-stars Jennifer Coolidge, Luke Wilson and Selma Blair will return for the flick.

Jennifer Aniston has credited intermittent fasting with helping her to stay in shape.

The Friends actress abides by the 16:8 fasting diet, meaning she goes without food for a whopping 16 hours and only eats in a strict eight-hour period.

“I do intermittent fasting, so no food in the morning. I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours,” she told Radio Times magazine.

Jennifer went on to explain that she starts her day at 9am, and when she’s not fasting, she has celery juice for breakfast. The 50-year-old will then meditate before heading out for a rigorous workout.

Intermittent fasting, also known as the eight-hour diet, is said to assist weight loss, control blood sugar levels and boost brain function. No foods are off-limits during the eight hours you’re allowed to eat, but followers of the diet insist that no junk food is consumed and urge people to be careful of binge eating.

Most devotees of the diet choose to skip food in the mornings and eat protein-rich meals from 12pm until 8pm daily.

Jennifer’s The Morning Show co-star Reese Witherspoon is also a fitness fanatic – hitting the gym up to six times a week – and recently revealed she often turns to her pal for advice on nutrition.

“I just have a green juice and a coffee in the morning. Jen knows so much about health and fitness that I always defer to her. She’s great at wellbeing advice,” Reese gushed.

Jennifer Aniston is “obsessed” with learning about the ingredients in her skincare products.

The Friends star, who is back in the spotlight thanks to her new Apple+ TV programme The Morning Show, has had her fair share of beauty mishaps over the years that have prompted her to look into the science of her formulas.

“We are sold such a bill of goods wrapped up in expensive packaging, but I have found that when it comes to a skincare routine, the simpler the better,” she told Vogue.com. “I’m obsessed with the science bit. I find it very interesting and working with beauty brands like Aveeno helped me to learn that there are so many chemicals in products that really aren’t good for skin.”

Through a process of trial and error, Jennifer has learned to avoid extreme skincare treatments, and just heads for the sun to give her that dewy glow.

“I had a laser treatment about 10 years ago that just bloodied my face for about a month,” the 50-year-old shared. “It was way too aggressive and that’s when I realised that what might work in the short term can be damaging in the long run. I still sit in the sun… you need that vitamin D for a glow and your mood.”

However, Jennifer is aware of the sun damage risks and sticks to skin-friendly products in order to fake that glow.

“I have become a fan of body bronzers and spray tans,” she added.

Elsewhere in the interview, the actress revealed that she is also a fan of eye masks and cryo sticks.

“Another good one that my facialist taught me is just get a bowl of ice water and splash your face 25 times. It’s an old school trick that Joan Crawford used to do – it just wakes your skin up,” Jennifer insisted.

A sequel to Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s hit movie Murder Mystery is in the works.

Directed by Kyle Newacheck and written by James Vanderbilt, the mystery-comedy followed New York City police officer Nick Spitz, played by Sandler, and his wife Audrey, portrayed by Aniston, as they embarked on an adventure to Europe, only to become entangled in the murder of an elderly billionaire on a superyacht.

The film was a huge success when it was released on Netflix in June, and now editors at The Hollywood Reporter have claimed Vanderbilt is now in talks to pen a follow-up.

It is not yet known if Sandler and Aniston will reprise their roles, but as the Happy Gilmore star has an ongoing deal with bosses at the streaming giant, it is likely he will return.

A few days after Murder Mystery, which also featured Luke Evans, Gemma Arterton, David Walliams, and Terence Stamp, dropped online, a Netflix representative posted on Twitter that the flick smashed all types of viewership records.

“30,869,863 accounts watched Murder Mystery in its first 3 days – the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix Film. 13,374,914 accounts in the US and Canada, and 17,494,949 more worldwide,” the message stated.

A spokesperson later confirmed that the figures were correct.

Of late, the most-streamed films on Netflix have included Will Smith’s 2017 fantasy-action Bright and Sandra Bullock’s 2018 post-apocalyptic thriller Bird Box.

Vanderbilt has previously written screenplays for films including Independence Day: Resurgence, White House Down, and Zodiac. He is currently in the pre-production stages of The Janson Directive.

Jennifer Aniston desperately wants to see more romantic comedies on the big screen.

The Friends star misses the classic romcom era of the late 1980s and 1990s, which was dominated by the likes of Julia Roberts and Meg Ryan, and their iconic movies such as When Harry Met Sally…, Pretty Woman, You’ve Got Mail, My Best Friend’s Wedding and Sleepless in Seattle.

Now, Jennifer has claimed that she wants to see more star-crossed lovers and budding romances make a comeback in Hollywood.

“It’s changed so much. I think we would so love to have the era of Meg Ryan come back. I just think it would be nice to go into a movie theatre, sit cosy. I think we should have a resurgence,” she told Variety. “Let’s get the Terms of Endearment back out there. You know, Heaven Can Wait, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Goodbye Girl.”

The 50-year-old is no stranger to romantic comedies, and has starred in The Object of My Affection, Picture Perfect, Along Came Polly and The Break-Up.

And while she’s keen for that genre to have a revival, she revealed one particular type of movie that she refuses to be a part of.

“You’re seeing what’s available out there and it’s just diminishing and diminishing in terms of, it’s big Marvel movies. Or things that I’m not just asked to do or really that interested in living in a green screen,” the actress shared.

Earlier this year, Meg revealed that she was writing a new romantic comedy of her own, with plans to possibly direct it as well.

“It’s at Working Title Films. I’ll just leave it at that. My God. You feel like you’re jinxing it if you’re talking about it. Hopefully, it’s for me to direct,” she shared in a chat with The New York Times.

Jennifer Aniston has claimed Harvey Weinstein once tried to “bully” her into wearing a dress from his wife’s Marchesa line.

The disgraced movie boss has been accused of harassing and assaulting a number of women, allegations he denies, but in a new interview with Variety, Aniston revealed that the only run-in she ever had with the producer was over a red carpet outfit.

Recalling how Weinstein visited the Friends actress in London, she shared that during one conversation, he insisted she wear a gown to a premiere from his now-estranged wife Georgina Chapman’s label.

“(It was) right when Georgina’s clothing line Marchesa was starting,” she told the publication. “That’s when he came to visit me… while we were shooting. He’d be like, ‘OK, so I’d like you to wear one of these to the premiere.’

“I went through the book (of choices), and at the time, it wasn’t what it is today. It was not for me. He was like, ‘You have to wear the dress.’

“That was my only bullying. And I was like, ‘No, I will not wear the dress.'”

Aniston remained defiant and Weinstein eventually realised there was no use forcing the star to don something she didn’t want to wear.

“What was he going to do? Come over here and make me wear it? He knew better,” the 50-year-old commented.

Weinstein’s rape and sexual assault trial is scheduled to begin in Manhattan in January. He has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex.

Chapman announced she was divorcing Weinstein in October 2017. The fashion designer co-founded her brand with Keren Craig in 2004, with the pair known for outfitting celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, and Cate Blanchett.

Ralph Lauren has launched a workwear collection inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s much-loved Friends character, Rachel Green.

The line coincides with the 25th anniversary of the U.S. sitcom, and the company’s new range features chic pieces from Polo and LAUREN Ralph Lauren that were influenced by Rachel’s classic looks throughout the show’s 10 seasons.

The collection is a sweet nod to the iconic character, who quits her waitressing job and begins working as an assistant in Bloomingdale’s in season three, and eventually lands her dream job at Ralph Lauren in season five.

The ‘One Where They All Wear Ralph Lauren’ collection, named in the style of each of the Friends episodes, will also be available to buy in select Bloomingdale’s stores in the U.S., and on RalphLauren.com.

To celebrate the launch, the Bloomingdale’s flagship store in New York City will be handing out complimentary cups of coffee in a replica of the iconic Central Perk coffee shop, with the venue complete with the set’s famous couch.

A recreation of Rachel’s Ralph Lauren office will also be on display in the store for shoppers and fans to discover.

Imagery from the campaign features the models posing in Central Perk, Monica Geller’s apartment, and on the couch in front of the fountain, which featured in the opening credits of the sitcom.

The new collection features trousers, midi and miniskirts, cashmere turtleneck sweaters, jackets, suits, blazers and equestrian-inspired accessories in a variety of designs, such as navy, plaid, leopard print, and faux fur.

Prices range from $39.50 (£32) for a classic T-shirt, to $2,998 (£2,400) for a leopard-print calf hair coat.
