Ashley Graham has proudly bared her post-baby stretch marks in a new social media post.

The model welcomed a son named Isaac with her husband Justin Ervin last month, and taking to Instagram on Monday, she uploaded a snap of her torso, showing the lines on her stomach.

“Same me. few new stories,” she captioned the image.

Accordingly, Ashley was quickly inundated by praise from her followers and celebrity pals for opening up about the realities of new motherhood.

Lily Aldridge wrote, “Beautiful,” alongside three heart emojis, Joan Smalls commented, “Stunning,” and Doutzen Kroes added: “Women power.”

Elsewhere, Ashley’s mother Linda stated, “Totally worth it!! He’s absolutely wonderful,” and model Iskra Lawrence, who is currently expecting her first child, posted, “Beautiful. Love seeing this! I’ve got none on my tummy yet but getting some new tiger stripes on my hips and booty.”

The 32-year-old’s candid post has already racked up 1.2 million likes.

And it’s not the first time she has opened up about postpartum recovery. Last week, the brunette beauty took to Instagram to share a photo of herself posing in a bathroom while wearing a black top and grey disposable underwear.

“Raise your hand if you didn’t know you’d be changing your own diapers too,” Ashley joked, as she sang the praises of disposable underwear. “No one talks about the recovery and healing (yes even the messy parts) new moms go through. I wanted to show you guys that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies!”

Noting that it’s “been tough”, Ashley thanked her friends for helping her to talk honestly about her recovery after childbirth. She also wants other women to feel confident enough to discuss their own experiences.

“It’s unbelievable the obstacles we still face talking about what women really go through,” the 32-year-old added.

Ashley’s famous friends rallied round to leave supportive comments on the Instagram post, including fellow model Amber Valletta and TV presenter Amanda de Cadenet.

“I’m sending you a care package this week and sending you so much (love),” she wrote.

Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin have named their son Isaac Menelik Giovanni Ervin.

The model and her husband introduced their new arrival on her podcast Pretty Big Deal on Tuesday, with the couple also explaining the meaning behind his moniker.

Justin revealed that he had always loved the name Isaac, while the pair came up with Menelik during their trip to Ethiopia last Christmas.

“Menelik is the first emperor of Ethiopia. It also means son of the wise, and Menelik was the son of Queen Sheba and King Solomon,” said Ashley, while Justin added: “Everything is his name is pointing to legacy. Whether it be Isaac with Abraham Isaac and Jacob, or Menelik being royal African roots.”

The third name was chosen because Ashley and Justin’s grandfathers were both called John, and as a nod to the filmmaker’s Italian heritage.

Elsewhere in the podcast, the 32-year-old revealed she had a completely natural water birth at home on 18 January and welcomed Isaac into the world after six hours of labour.

“I have to say, now that I gave birth and I did it naturally and I felt everything, I feel like there’s nothing I can’t do,” she smiled. “There’s nothing that could come my way where I say, ‘Oh, that’s too hard, I can’t handle that.’ I went through labouring for six hours naturally.”

Ashley Graham and Shay Mitchell have candidly spoken about their struggles with depression during pregnancy.

The model is expecting her first child, a son, with husband Justin Ervin later this month, while Pretty Little Liars star Shay welcomed her daughter Atlas Noa with boyfriend Matte Babel back in October.

The pair recently took part in a discussion about the highs and lows of pregnancy during an episode of Ashley’s podcast Pretty Big Deal, and the 32-year-old confessed she could’ve been dealing with a form of prenatal depression.

“I want to talk about this, because I can’t say definitely that I went through it, but I can say that I might have gone through something like it,” Ashley began, before revealing that she and Justin were surprised by her pregnancy because they weren’t trying for a baby. “Then all of the sudden, my emotions, my mind, my body, things that I always had control over are now totally out of whack. I can’t talk to anybody about it, my husband doesn’t understand but he’s trying to be as supportive as possible. My mom is like, ‘Oh you’ll be fine.’ I think I was spiralling a little bit and I was crying a lot.”

Shay, who had gone through an intense 33-hour labour before little Atlas was born, agreed with Ashley, and revealed she also suffered something similar.

“I mean every single thing that you just said is exactly what I went through,” the actress recalled. “My mom said the same thing, and I’d be crying to her and she’d be like, ‘You’re just emotional, it’s just the hormones.’ And O.K. cool it might be, but you don’t want to hear that. Like, yes, it is. If it is the hormones, I’m still feeling that way. It doesn’t take away from this feeling, and it’s completely isolating.”

Finding common ground in their shared experience, Shay, 32, urged other pregnant women to talk about their feelings with loved ones.

“I heard so much about postpartum which is also a real thing, but I’d never heard about prepartum depression,” she added.

Ashley Graham in no rush to lose baby weight

Ashley Graham won’t be in a hurry to lose weight once she gives birth to her first child.

The 32-year-old model has gained 50 pounds (23 kilograms) while pregnant, but she isn’t getting caught up in the pressure society places on women to “bounce back” to their pre-baby figure, and will embark on a weight-loss plan when she’s ready.

“It’s unfortunate that this ‘bounce back’ culture exists for new moms,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “We just grew a life inside of our bodies for nine months, and then in addition to raising a newborn, there’s pressure to lose all of the baby weight so quickly.

“Everyone’s postpartum journey is different. My priority will be to make sure that our baby is happy and healthy, and when and if I do decide to lose the baby weight, it’ll be on my own terms.”

Ashley hasn’t let her pregnancy get in the way of her modelling work – she walked the runway at the Tommy X Zendaya presentation in New York, posed for the cover of U.S. Vogue, and is now modelling her latest designs for swimwear brand Swimsuits For All.

And she admitted that she felt empowered posing in bikinis and one-pieces while heavily pregnant for the latest collection’s campaign.

“Shooting this Swimsuits For All campaign while pregnant was truly empowering,” the brunette beauty commented to the publication. “I’ve been honest and have shared my feelings about my body changing, and this shoot for my anniversary collection reignited my confidence and reaffirmed that our bellies are beautiful. We should be celebrating our bodies at all stages throughout our lives.”

Ashley and her husband Justin Ervin are expecting to welcome their first child, a baby boy, any day now.

Ashley Graham treated herself to a hamburger on the set of her latest swimwear photoshoot.

The model, who is due to give birth to her first child with husband Justin Ervin this month, celebrated the release of her resort 2020 collection for Swimsuits For All on Tuesday by posting a video showing her standing in a tropical print bikini while eating a burger from fast food chain In-N-Out.

“Come to mama,” she laughed as she was handed the snack.

For the campaign, Ashley happily showed off her blossoming baby bump in a range of pieces from the line, including the Python Cut Out One-Piece, Embrace Mesh Bikini, and Havana Bikini.

And while the brunette beauty has been open about her experiences with her changing figure over the course of her pregnancy, she noted that Swimsuits For All’s designs worked perfectly on her new body.

“Anyone else feel like being pregnant gave you a whole new appreciation for your body?? It’s also given me insights as designer and I’m so excited to see that reflected in my new @swimsuitsforall collection!” the 32-year-old shared. “The real test when we were designing this line was that none of these are maternity suits!! All I had to do was size up and they are still supportive and have an amazing fit.”

The designs in Ashley’s 11-piece tropical paradise Swimsuits For All line are available in U.S. sizes 4-24 (U.K. 1-20) and retail under $150 (£115).

“Pregnancy has given me a whole new appreciation for my body, and designing this collection allowed me to truly embrace my new curves and my beautiful baby bump in a swimsuit,” she added. “I hope this campaign reminds all women that they are sexy and should be celebrated at all stages in their lives.”

Ashley Graham has launched an inclusive wedding dress collection with Pronovias.

The 32-year-old model has teamed up with the Spanish brand for the 16-piece limited collection, which includes traditional dresses and a tuxedo, and said she was inspired to create inclusive wedding dresses due to her own disappointing experience on her big day back in 2010.

She recalled not having the time to have a custom dress made for her nuptials to Justin Ervin, and had to shop off the rack at a boutique in Nebraska, but had to buy a size 10 (U.K. 12) gown for her size 14 (U.K. 16) frame, meaning she had to have a panel sewn in the back to make it fit.

“I really didn’t get the option of what I truly wanted because I didn’t have the time or the luxury because of my size. And to be completely honest – because of my budget,” Ashley explained to WWD, noting that prices for her Pronovias collection range from $1,000 (£758) up to $3,500 (£2,600).

The pregnant Sports Illustrated model, who is due to give birth any day now, jumped at the chance of teaming up with the famous bridal brand as she wanted to create an empowering collection for women of all ages and sizes, with the pieces also featuring built-in shapewear and bras.

“It’s such an important day for every type of woman who is planning her wedding. It’s beyond a size or a type of woman – it’s really just about her. That’s why I’m so excited there are now sizes from 0 to 34,” she gushed.

And Ashley is pleased that she was given the opportunity to tell her story, and hopes that other women are inspired to not settle for less when it comes to their wedding dress.

“Everything attached to my brand is inclusive. My mission is inclusivity and diversity always,” the activist and presenter stated. “For me, it was just important to tell my story. In telling my story, hopefully that will give other women the courage to tell their story. You are empowered by other women and what they’ve been through.”

Ashley Graham has only succumbed to her cravings for doughnuts once during her pregnancy.

The model is currently expecting her first child, a son, with her husband Justin Ervin, and is due to give birth in January.

In a new beauty tutorial for Vogue.com, Ashley explained that she has had some unusual cravings throughout her journey, but rarely wanted sweet treats.

“My cravings have been really bizarre, as far as I haven’t wanted junk food,” she said. “I’ve just wanted cucumbers and celery and salads from (U.S. restaurant chain) Sweetgreen. Only Sweetgreen, I have no idea why. I’m really into homemade dishes, so my husband’s been cooking for me every night. Just once, I needed Krispy Kreme doughnuts! I had my five in one sitting, and I’m O.K. now.”

Ashley went on to explain that she has been committed to keeping active throughout her pregnancy and has also been doing yoga, getting acupuncture, and having regular lymphatic massages. Accordingly, the brunette beauty is adamant her strict regime will pay off.

“Every mom I talk to says the more you work out, the easier it is for delivery,” the 32-year-old smiled. “And I’ve been really excited about that.”

Elsewhere in the clip, Ashley shared that she does have some stretch marks on her belly, but is trying to prevent them as much as possible by applying MAMA GLOW + GOOD MEDICINE’s Anointed Love Butter all over the area.

“It gets really goopy and then you put it everywhere,” she noted. “I’ll hit every other body part that I know could create stretchmarks – my a*s, my back, my arms, it will be my breasts, and I go in and I am fully hydrated. I try to do this two to three times a day. Are you committed to having supple skin? Because I am.”

Ashley Graham “doesn’t care” about the weight she’s gained during her pregnancy.

The curvy model is expecting her first child, a son, with husband Justin Ervin. Previously, Ashley announced that she is due to give birth in January, and in a post uploaded to Instagram over the weekend, she opened up about her pregnancy journey to date.

“Throughout my pregnancy so far I’ve gained 50 pounds (22 kilograms). And the best part is, I don’t care!” she wrote. “I have never felt better, and I am so thankful that my body and son have allowed me to be as mobile and flexible as I have been.”

Ashley added that she’s been working out, doing yoga, getting acupuncture, and had regular lymphatic massages. Accordingly, she is adamant her routine has paid off.

“I finally feel like I figured out this whole pregnancy thing and how to feel my best,” the 32-year-old shared.

Back in September, Ashley made fashion history by becoming the first pregnant model to walk in a Tommy Hilfiger runway show for the label’s Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya presentation held as part of New York Fashion Week.

The Sports Illustrated beauty has also been candid about the ups and downs of her pregnancy and often updated her social media followers about the ways she has been trying to embrace her changing figure.

Talking about posting an image that showed off her stretch marks on her digital show, Fearless with Ashley Graham, in November, the mother-to-be explained that she had actually been struggling with her “new body”.

“It’s interesting that you say that because the reason why I had posted that original photo, I had just announced that I was pregnant, and I thought then I was going to feel good and I didn’t. I just felt terrible,” she shared.
